We are pleased to reveal the first release from a new vinyl label and blog. Bare Bones Recordings are a purveyor of all things Deep House, and BBW001 is a Various Artists EP with individual tracks from four excellent artists. The idea is to showcase the various styles the label will put out with future releases.

Up first is Entrepot head honcho UC Beatz with “Dullness” which portrays a classic deep house sound, with a modern twist. Former Ruff Stuff member Flaze offers “Forty” that simply destroys dancefloors with an almost Techno feel. Fresh from recent releases on Burnski’s Aesthetic and North Wales label Floorpiece, Adam Nahalewicz’s track “Out There” is a deep minimalist workout. The final track from Slur “Uncaged” keeps the emphasis firmly on an underground tip with a real DJ weapon.

Audio Soul Project is back with their latest vinyl-only EP, Simurgh. With a title inspired by the mythical Persian bird, these four tracks fuse elements of house, R&B, dub, and drum & bass to create an ecstatic and hypnotic experience.

The EP kicks off with "Deliver Me," a dreamy house track with warm filtered chords and bouncing synth bass. R&B female vocal ad libs pepper the groove and the refrain "Deliver Me" adds a sense of yearning. The percussion, including morphing 4x4 and breakbeat drums, piano and synth stabs, nod to the cerebral Detroit and Chicago house compositions of the mid 90s.

"Azizam Dub" takes a more stripped-down approach with a subsonic bass line bump and Juno 106 stabs. Frantic percussion and deftly cut vocal samples accent the ebbs and flows of the arrangement, making for a dynamic and engaging dance.

The B-side of the record starts with "Internal Vybrations," a bass-heavy drum & bass track that winds and jumps with multiple layers of deep, fluttering bass and ambient pads and strings. Percussion layers like hi-hats, shakers, and maracas lift and relax the rhythm in parallel to the rest of the composition, making for a hypnotic and trance-inducing vibe.

The B2 track on the EP, "Celebration Dub," is a bass-heavy swinging house track with ecstatic diva "Whooo" samples that punctuate the ups and downs of the groove's energy. Classic reggae and dub-influenced vocal samples and heavy tape delay on certain key instruments add to the joyful and uplifting vibe of the track. The keyboard

and string section can transport a dancer to other realms of consciousness if they let themselves go to the groove.

Simurgh is a masterful fusion of various genres that showcases Audio Soul Project's production prowess and ability to create an entrancing sonic journey.

We’re more than proud to present the first album on our label. A few words from the maestro, Anton Kubikov:

What was the first egg or chicken remains a mystery to me. But what is absolutely clear - the first was the sound. And to this day, the defining in my settings is one or another wave ripple. After many of my dub releases, I decided to follow the big bang path and create an album from one point and bloom like a flower bud, filling it with different shades, micro-changing the waves of each track, adhering to the monochrome of the first point, or rather the chord. Ambient Occlusion is not a sound concept, but one way or another defining the sound of the album, when the missing is filled with the drawing algorithm. And yet, with all the technogenic description, the feelings and sensations of the surrounding space and time in which the creation took place were at the forefront. It remains personal and I hope I was able to convey the invisible that appears at the fingertips when a spark occurs. Separately, I want to note the history of the creation of the album cover by Anja Kubik, since it is already a separate art object in itself, made by hand on canvas using a unique embroidery technique and complementing the sound system of the album.

Rovas presents Aleexe (Panea Records) with a solid four-tracker EP that provides a complete experience into this inspiring artist's intellect.

My Shoulder is Your Shoulder”, kicks off this EP with a highly danceable and dense vibe. Deep synths evolve with snappy percusions and a bassline that leaves no doubt: this is going to be serious shit. “Teson” follows on the same side getting the table ready, with some breaky vibes and a resting bassline, mastered by cheeky vocals and playful synths.

The B side seems to spread a brighter atmosphere designed for the daytime, delivering stripped back and sensual contrasting tracks. “Teapetesis” incorporates great melodies and rolling riffs that bring the energy flow up until the end. Lastly, “Comprehension” gives a closing with the perfect dreamy calmness.

Baguette Magique Records is a music company based in Madrid and established in 2021 by Thomas Moulin. The record label is a platform that promotes up-and-coming music artists, without getting cornered into any particular style and focusing on quality and longevity. BMR sound is pure, smart and hopefully timeless.

The first release is a solo EP written and produced by Uruguayan DJ Enzo, who uses the a.k.a. DJ E for his debut as a producer. Afterhours. is back with Ukrainian underground talent Silat Beksi. As expected, the 3-tracker appropriately named "Transend EP" displays a fine selection of stripped-down music prone to dancefloor introspection. 

The title track 'Transend' shows Silat's talent for creating steady, bare-boned grooves, filling the sonic space with menacing atmospheres, chopped vocals and bizarre modular squelches. Flipside's 'Monoliza' follows the same stable groove principle but applies quirky sound-design techniques reminiscent of the golden ages of microhouse for an added swing. 'Elephant Dream', the EP's closing track, swaps the four-by-four rhythms with breakbeat-infused constructions, adding just the right amount of sway for its deeply floating atmosphere.

Sun & Stars by Gossan and Pad Union, the debut vinyl release from Music Department record label, featuring four sumptuous and eclectic tracks.

Up first in the A1 spot is In 'Stars We Trust' by Gossan, an elegant progressive house number with a gorgeous aquatic build up which releases into a swell of subtly crafted drums, a warm and rumbling bass line and luxurious pads and synth refrains. The perfect opening track for a momentous debut release.

At the A2 spot is 'Solnce Zvuk' by Pad Union. A testament to the diversity of this EP, 'Solnce Zvuk' is a stylistically unique track which gives a sizable nod to 90s trip-hop and broken beat. With a groovy, syncopated break beat, a deep and potent sub bass line, not to mention an army of funky samples, 'Solnce Zvuk' will get any dancefloor moving!

Up first on the B side is 'Podsnezhniq' by Pad Union, a clever and interesting blend of break beat and 4/4 rhythms. Awash with melancholic pads, subtle synth riffs and an assortment of ethereal vocals all set to a driving bass line, 'Podsnezhniq' is a worthy contender on this formidable EP.

Finally, at B2 is 'Last Trip' by Gossan, a graceful progressive house track with a pulsing beat, gentle melodic phrases and a smooth, throbbing bass line. Add in some uplifting gaseous pads and a sprinkling of ingenuously designed vocal samples, and you’ve the perfect conclusion to a very memorable vinyl debut!

Parasol Dance' embodies the musical headway and fruition Fabio experienced exploring different soundscapes and rhythms in his London based studio this last year. The crisp analogue cuts in the album are peppered with Monesi's organic evolution from the New Jersey sound drawing inspiration from Jazz, Funk and even Disco, all the while never faltering on the end product of raw undulating grooves.

In a sentence, in 'Parasol Dance' Fabio has dished up a vibrant collection of raw and robust cuts that keep you locked from start to finish and will be no doubt be finding a welcome home in record bags across the globe.

Drifted Records deliver a heavy 4 track edition to the imprint for DR004. Welcoming newly formed alias, Jack Eject, to the label with the ‘Kids Klub’ EP.

The A-side provides 2 solid dance floor cuts with both ‘Kids Klub’ and ‘Rebirth’, whilst flipping over to the B-side you are thrown into action with ‘3:24AM’ - a true club pelter fluttered with vocal and tension.

Rounding off with the B2 which gifts us with a very well crafted remix, as Rob Amboule offers his own groovy rendition of ‘Rebirth’.

Recent times have seen After Caposile become one of the most sought after locations on the underground circuit, and this reflects in their acclaimed record label - Caposile Music. This Spring they have prepared a stellar release of firm favourites from the club. “The Sound
of Garden” release will come in two parts, both on 12” and will include a heavy hitting lineup such as Romanian duo Super Moon (Arapu & Priku), family members and residents Maggio, Francesco Maddalena, and Yaar Kü, Silat Beksi, Mihai Pol, Giuliano Lomonte and Sublee. A perfect blend of club affiliates, coming together to provide the soundtrack from that famous garden.

Volume One kicks off with the dynamite combination of Arapu & Priku under their Super Moon moniker. Hypnotic movements set a serious tone for the journey ahead, mysterious elements simmering throughout “I Can Help”. Dreamy meets dance floor in Maggio’s aptly named “Just Landed” floating synths calmly lift you, but you remain grounded by the killer elasticated groove. After delivering the previous EP on the label Yaar Kü returns with a stripped back encounter, his unique touch shining bright. Silat Beksi provides a certain sunshine jam with his track “Jaho”, you immediately feel the warmer times are coming, after parties in the sun.

Landing just a few weeks after is the equally special Volume Two, packed full of ammo for the tastemakers. Mihai Pol inaugurates proceedings with “Sugar Rush”, the 7 minute quest boasts shimmering synths and a sweet bass line to match. Francesco Maddalena ups the ante with his garage influenced “Breath Of Air”, an energy boost for the peak times of the party. Giuliano Lomonte’s “More Time” rumbles from the get go, begging to be played on a high quality system to allow each of the intricate details to speak for themselves. Last but not least is Sublee, his “Day Six” track is a chugging body of work, blurring the lines between house and minimal with a raw edge.

With a huge European tour on the table, and a release of this stature After Caposile are flying high at the moment with an indispensable team behind the project. Expanding on their party paradise location, but simultaneously propelling innovative underground sounds under the Caposile Music offshoot. Both Volume One and Two will land this May, right on cue for the summer time madness.

Tobias Freund, the Berlin based producer, musician, and label owner of Non Standard Productions has created an incredible cover record that pays tribute to some of the most iconic and influential artists of the past four decades.


The album Tobias. & Friends - TOP TEN places a unique spin on the original tracks, with its combination of electronic sounds and vocal performances from Javiera González, Barbie Williams, Cormac McAdam, Carlos Cabezas, and Stian Westerhus.
Having already worked with Javiera González on the recent post punk album release “The Mutual Torture - Don’t” (NSP 19), Tobias has once again used his talents to honour some of his favourite bands.

Each track has been carefully re-produced at Non Standard Studios in Berlin, resulting in a perfectly balanced mix of old and new.

Shortly after its debut with label owner Tripmastaz, Respect The Craft is back with "RTC002" a heavy hitter double EP that sees Tripmastaz collaborate with no other than Ricardo Villalobos. Five finely tuned, detailed groovers, including a guest appearance of SNVRS, MC and hip hop producer from New York. 

The release features the sonic signatures of Ricardo and Andrei seamlessly intertwined during its 40+ minutes duration, masterfully crafted over the last 5 years by two artists clearly at the top of their production game. „Svoboda“ features a solo played and recorded over 8 years ago by Tripmastaz and contains elements of a live jazz session and the voice of famous Russian jazz musician David Goloshekin. And while sides A and B have a steady gear on micro-housey constructions with low-key party vibes, sides C and D go into deeper, darker fields of increasingly atmospheric sound design.

Jade Seatle met Jane Fitz at tech-house haven Kerfuffle in Brixton around 2005 or 06 (they don't remember). They bonded that day over records, and a strange story about a pebble.
Disillusioned with parties in London, rather than moan, Jade and Jane decided to make their own. Night Moves was born in 2012, after Jade Seatle and Jane Fitz visited Jenifa Mayanja the Summer of 2011, at home in Connecticut, and promised her a party to play in London. What then evolved was a journey in music, gatherings and friendship, a lesson in how community can evolve from a dancefloor. Night Moves spawned Day Moves, Field Moves, a B2B partnership, and many, many ridiculous parties in a range of wonderful locations. The records on this release not only represent the sound of Night Moves - all are tried-and-tested NM greatest hits - but the sound that brought Jade and Jane together, informed what they do now, where they've been and where they are still to go.

The third vinyl, BHMWAX003, includes Four House Bangers from the one and only Max Telaer. After huge contributions to the first two records of the label, he is back with a full vinyl of his own.

The vinyl starts with “Imperfections”, heavy kicks, vocal chops, a deep baseline and beauty of a piano riff that brings that ultimate House vibe. This track is for the dance floors.

Followed by “About The Universe”, an absolute favourite! Heavy but clean deep drums with a groovy bassline produced on the groovebox-909. The keys represent a melancholic groove that goes perfectly with the vocals.

The B side kicks off with the old-school groovebox-505 sound. “You’re Something Else” is a raw classic Max Telaer production with a heavy attack bassline. Topped off with a smooth synth, vocal loops and classic piano keys.

Originally released in 1993 on the legendary Interactive Test, Man Myth Magic’s ‘Different Places (Velasquez Stage)’ gets a well-needed reissue in addition to two new unreleased mixes. Don’t sleep!

Some things get better with age, something that Spanish label Curated By Time are all too familiar with.

Take Mark Ambrose’s Dream Mode, a 1997 treat that will soon be re-released on the Barcelona-based imprint. Twenty-five years after its initial inception, it feels as forward-thinking today as it did back then.

Take the title track for instance, a soothing, electronic-fuelled cut that pulses with wholesome synths throughout. Or the gritty tones of Colonel’s Measure, raw and unapologetic, that features a foundation of thick, hard-hitting percussion. Then there’s Redial: hypnotic, dance-inducing musical goodness to end proceedings in style.

Synth Soundtrack is a re-work of Sick Soundtrack, the first album by Gaznevada, the legendary new wave no wave rock dance punk band of the 70s-80s.


The Sick Soundtrack multitrack no longer exists, it was lost many years ago: no multitrack no remixes. And, in fact, Synth Soundtrack is NOT a remix.


No possibility of removing or correcting sounds, synthesizers, rhythms, it was only possible to add. Basically today's Gaznevada played together with original Gaznevada. A time machine jam session. A kind of techno-musical psychoanalysis. Synth Soundtrack moves away from Sick Soundtrcak to take its own original path.
Was there ever anyone in the history of rock who ever did something like this?
Hmm... Oh... So... Maybe... No... No, definitely not. Nobody.

Mister Shifter teams up with his close friend Fanu yet again, this time on Dispatch Dubplate. Two producers who share a profound love of sampling and manipulating fresh breakbeats, showcase what they do best on this 4-track release.

"Reverse Dawn" from Fanu sets the tone for this release, its otherworldly atmospheres are matched with precision drum work and tense, driving bass. This track was the initial spark that birthed this release. When the contrasting remix from Mister Shifter arrived it was clear they belonged on the same Dispatch Dubplate.

Mister Shifter takes Fanu's "Reverse Dawn" into bold & contrasting new territory by adding high-powered breakbeats (some courtesy of Paradox and Mako), clever edits, and a floor-quaking bassline. Many of Fanu's ethereal & moody elements remain intact, letting the remix proudly showcase the finest qualities of each producer.

Vinyl-exclusive "The Kingpin" pays homage to the famed Blue Note-era sound, while looking forward with a modern production techniques and aesthetics. This track pulls no punches, featuring a devastating mid-song change-up that rivals anything Mister Shifter has released to date. Fans of HBO's "The Wire" will appreciate the dialogue samples from which the track draws its name. A staple in Mister Shifter's DJ sets, "The Kingpin" has received support around the globe from the likes of Gremlinz, Double O, Mantra, Ant TC1, Andy Odysee, and Djinn.

Capping off the release is old-school rave banger "That Dreama Trak VIP", taking things back to where it all started by lowering the BPM and elevating the vibes. Drawing inspiration from the likes of 2 Bad Mice and early 90's Moving Shadow, Mister Shifter gives us a modern take on the hardcore breakbeat and rave music that helped shape his musical foundation. Pitched-down Amen & Think breaks, Mentasms, and vocal samples combine into an anthemic, hands-in-the-air floor-filler.

For the B side a new project is coming by Eddy Romero and Maertz “Micronode” this two artists are back again with a new alias working mainly in analog sound and getting this as his first ever track released with this moniker and will be the first of more to come. And for the last cut from Russia with Love again and with his first vinyl track Alexander Matchak he has groove , he has dub he has House sound. Reaching out after a year of roller-coasting through new normals and perhaps solitude is none other than Suolo and his latest offspring - Detalii. The annual Capodopere outing is led by two lone crafters on a common mission, Crihan minding a full on attention-to-detail remix.


Still loyal to his roots and his original take on electronic music, Suolo takes time to develop his track-long thought. His usual by now takeover of side A results in somewhat of a scenic progression and a floating state of mind. One can always wander around his back-catalog, with no much hassle in immersing within his grand formula of sound. Lead by both rounds of echoing slashes and twinkling lumps of feather-soft melodies, Detalii at its 10 minutes is nothing short of downhill-ing between parallel worlds. Conservative in his approach, he still keeps one’s ears at the gateway of imagination, welding an organic middle with its synthetic outskirts. Is it the glory that Detalii comes with? Or his domesticated vocals in between the deep-watered repetitive hits? We’re still untangling the ends for the full picture.


By this time, the anticipation of Crihan’s body of work becomes something touchable. One might have pictured something around Alin’s palettes of vibrations but he can be a plot twister. Built around the 120 bpm mark, his take on the original extends on the idea of sonic levitation with a beat-broken re-invention of Detalii. Arguably the more melancholic version, Crihan plots an, even more, au naturel state of Detalii. More time to breathe is one early noticeable trait when it comes to the B side. Saturated with memories of places on the original and full of myths from the same places on the flip, the two have given a mirror between those parallel worlds. Elements remain profound and piercing, yet executed with the same eerie attitude.

The vocal parts that are often present in his creations are inspired by typical traditional songs and the fascinating exploration of cultures from around the world without distinction of religion or skin color. Good trip to all.

Label favorites Pornbugs return with another triumphant release, on the ever-reliable Bondage-Music.

Kicking off with the title track 'Juvania', a deep and sophisticated subtle groover, with its deep bass setting the tone. A filtered vocal hook loops around while trippy percussive adds an additional vibe, while the gated vocal adds a sparkle to proceedings.

Remix duties see Rhadow adding some intrigue, as this bubbling bass led re-tweak unfurls, with trippy vocal fx and tasty percussion, while a warm and magical muted melodic flavor encases things wonderfully.

Next, we find 'Mudita', with its moody rolling groove, and spoken style vocal that adds a little bounce to this workout, while some dubby elements are sprinkled nicely. The breakdown is a hypnotic and cosmic vibed affair, as the spoken word plays with your mind before returning to the track with a real throb. 

Nicola Brusegan steps up to remix Mudita, taking us deep, but keeping the energy levels high, as this deep driver with a classic feel lets go. Punchy goodness!

Toy Tonics regulars and Munich based House & Disco specialists Coeo step up for their 'Dance Routines' on the vinyl-only Resista.

On the A side is a Gabonese Boogie weapon with a beyond funky bassline and body-rocking drums mixed with an amazing vocal, triumphant horns and syncopated guitar hits.

Over on the B1, a rolling Giorgio Morode-esque Disco synth bass is layered with jacking Proto House drums and Arabic chanting for a track that wouldn't be amiss in a Hot Mix 5 show.

Finally the B2 whips up a percussion frenzy with a deep droning bass stab and a hypnotic call and response vocal.

As always the artwork has been completed by the very talented Pedro Carvalho de Almeida.

The 10th release on BLKMARKET MUSIC features Payphone, with ‘Unicorn System.’ From the founders of Toronto’s Payphone Studios and members of the Hypnotic Mindscapes crew and record label, the Payphone trio make their label debut with 4 hardware-heavy tracks. This elusive 3-member live-act take a functional yet improvisational approach, influenced by years of chasing the wonk during late-night jam sessions.

Kicking-off the EP is the retro futurism of ‘Don E = Dark O’ - a melancholic, chiaroscuro-esque house-meets-techno track harking back to a bygone era of rave. The A2 ‘Fool Circle’ shifts gears into the afterhours with an infectious, metallic groove. On the flip, aquatic-deep techno cut ‘Sea Sex Librarian’ dubs things out with trippy vocals and a booming round baseline.
