License to Kill is a new label hailing from England representing cutting edge minimal electronic music. Visually inspired by society’s favourite rogue agent while being sonically inspired by contemporary minimalists, License to Kill demonstrates that these two disparate areas of culture need not be experienced separately. Its releases aim to hypnotise listeners using all the sonic weapons at its disposal: namely rhythm, sound design, musical motif and bass. It gives DJs exclusive license to set floors on fire, igniting the best parties at any time of night or day with the distinctive sound of infectious, bond-orientated beats. Forging a relationship between the world’s most loved Spy and underground music is the mission; expect silly visuals, tasty productions and releases inhabiting the bags of Europe’s most underground selectors.

Afterhours. is back with Ukrainian underground talent Silat Beksi. As expected, the 3-tracker appropriately named "Transend EP" displays a fine selection of stripped-down music prone to dancefloor introspection. 

The title track 'Transend' shows Silat's talent for creating steady, bare-boned grooves, filling the sonic space with menacing atmospheres, chopped vocals and bizarre modular squelches. Flipside's 'Monoliza' follows the same stable groove principle but applies quirky sound-design techniques reminiscent of the golden ages of microhouse for an added swing. 'Elephant Dream', the EP's closing track, swaps the four-by-four rhythms with breakbeat-infused constructions, adding just the right amount of sway for its deeply floating atmosphere.

Sun & Stars by Gossan and Pad Union, the debut vinyl release from Music Department record label, featuring four sumptuous and eclectic tracks.

Up first in the A1 spot is In 'Stars We Trust' by Gossan, an elegant progressive house number with a gorgeous aquatic build up which releases into a swell of subtly crafted drums, a warm and rumbling bass line and luxurious pads and synth refrains. The perfect opening track for a momentous debut release.

At the A2 spot is 'Solnce Zvuk' by Pad Union. A testament to the diversity of this EP, 'Solnce Zvuk' is a stylistically unique track which gives a sizable nod to 90s trip-hop and broken beat. With a groovy, syncopated break beat, a deep and potent sub bass line, not to mention an army of funky samples, 'Solnce Zvuk' will get any dancefloor moving!

Up first on the B side is 'Podsnezhniq' by Pad Union, a clever and interesting blend of break beat and 4/4 rhythms. Awash with melancholic pads, subtle synth riffs and an assortment of ethereal vocals all set to a driving bass line, 'Podsnezhniq' is a worthy contender on this formidable EP.

Finally, at B2 is 'Last Trip' by Gossan, a graceful progressive house track with a pulsing beat, gentle melodic phrases and a smooth, throbbing bass line. Add in some uplifting gaseous pads and a sprinkling of ingenuously designed vocal samples, and you’ve the perfect conclusion to a very memorable vinyl debut!

Kräftigen Anschub geben dabei Remute und Einmeier:
Remute beschleunigt mit seinem mitreißendem Remix von 0 auf 100 in Rekordzeit und lässt mit deepen Bässen die Clublandschaft erbeben. Einmeier übernimmt auf der B-Seite das Steuer und verwebt raffiniert Teile des Originals zu einer minimalistischen, deepen Soundwiese. Auf der Zielgeraden wird die Scheibe noch einmal von Cie mit dem treibenden Track "Perleffekt" neu lackiert. Vinyl only.

Parasol Dance' embodies the musical headway and fruition Fabio experienced exploring different soundscapes and rhythms in his London based studio this last year. The crisp analogue cuts in the album are peppered with Monesi's organic evolution from the New Jersey sound drawing inspiration from Jazz, Funk and even Disco, all the while never faltering on the end product of raw undulating grooves.

In a sentence, in 'Parasol Dance' Fabio has dished up a vibrant collection of raw and robust cuts that keep you locked from start to finish and will be no doubt be finding a welcome home in record bags across the globe.

Drifted Records deliver a heavy 4 track edition to the imprint for DR004. Welcoming newly formed alias, Jack Eject, to the label with the ‘Kids Klub’ EP.

The A-side provides 2 solid dance floor cuts with both ‘Kids Klub’ and ‘Rebirth’, whilst flipping over to the B-side you are thrown into action with ‘3:24AM’ - a true club pelter fluttered with vocal and tension.

Rounding off with the B2 which gifts us with a very well crafted remix, as Rob Amboule offers his own groovy rendition of ‘Rebirth’.

Recent times have seen After Caposile become one of the most sought after locations on the underground circuit, and this reflects in their acclaimed record label - Caposile Music. This Spring they have prepared a stellar release of firm favourites from the club. “The Sound
of Garden” release will come in two parts, both on 12” and will include a heavy hitting lineup such as Romanian duo Super Moon (Arapu & Priku), family members and residents Maggio, Francesco Maddalena, and Yaar Kü, Silat Beksi, Mihai Pol, Giuliano Lomonte and Sublee. A perfect blend of club affiliates, coming together to provide the soundtrack from that famous garden.

Volume One kicks off with the dynamite combination of Arapu & Priku under their Super Moon moniker. Hypnotic movements set a serious tone for the journey ahead, mysterious elements simmering throughout “I Can Help”. Dreamy meets dance floor in Maggio’s aptly named “Just Landed” floating synths calmly lift you, but you remain grounded by the killer elasticated groove. After delivering the previous EP on the label Yaar Kü returns with a stripped back encounter, his unique touch shining bright. Silat Beksi provides a certain sunshine jam with his track “Jaho”, you immediately feel the warmer times are coming, after parties in the sun.

Landing just a few weeks after is the equally special Volume Two, packed full of ammo for the tastemakers. Mihai Pol inaugurates proceedings with “Sugar Rush”, the 7 minute quest boasts shimmering synths and a sweet bass line to match. Francesco Maddalena ups the ante with his garage influenced “Breath Of Air”, an energy boost for the peak times of the party. Giuliano Lomonte’s “More Time” rumbles from the get go, begging to be played on a high quality system to allow each of the intricate details to speak for themselves. Last but not least is Sublee, his “Day Six” track is a chugging body of work, blurring the lines between house and minimal with a raw edge.

With a huge European tour on the table, and a release of this stature After Caposile are flying high at the moment with an indispensable team behind the project. Expanding on their party paradise location, but simultaneously propelling innovative underground sounds under the Caposile Music offshoot. Both Volume One and Two will land this May, right on cue for the summer time madness.

Dokument is an underground techno label from Zagreb, Croatia that has featured artists such as Marla Singer, Forest People, and Stephan Krus.

The next vinyl and digital release from the burgeoning imprint is by Sev Dah whose back catalogue includes TWR72's Float and OOM Records, Insolate's Out of Place and Myles Sergé's RE(FORM).

Expect to hear some jackin' and funky, analogue floor workers...

Limited vinyl only release by REVOLT! presenting three collaborative tracks by G.U.S & Dimitris Anagnostou – a contemporary reference to late 90’s UK tech house with steady groove, acid bleeps and ambience.

Tobias Freund, the Berlin based producer, musician, and label owner of Non Standard Productions has created an incredible cover record that pays tribute to some of the most iconic and influential artists of the past four decades.


The album Tobias. & Friends - TOP TEN places a unique spin on the original tracks, with its combination of electronic sounds and vocal performances from Javiera González, Barbie Williams, Cormac McAdam, Carlos Cabezas, and Stian Westerhus.
Having already worked with Javiera González on the recent post punk album release “The Mutual Torture - Don’t” (NSP 19), Tobias has once again used his talents to honour some of his favourite bands.

Each track has been carefully re-produced at Non Standard Studios in Berlin, resulting in a perfectly balanced mix of old and new.

Shortly after its debut with label owner Tripmastaz, Respect The Craft is back with "RTC002" a heavy hitter double EP that sees Tripmastaz collaborate with no other than Ricardo Villalobos. Five finely tuned, detailed groovers, including a guest appearance of SNVRS, MC and hip hop producer from New York. 

The release features the sonic signatures of Ricardo and Andrei seamlessly intertwined during its 40+ minutes duration, masterfully crafted over the last 5 years by two artists clearly at the top of their production game. „Svoboda“ features a solo played and recorded over 8 years ago by Tripmastaz and contains elements of a live jazz session and the voice of famous Russian jazz musician David Goloshekin. And while sides A and B have a steady gear on micro-housey constructions with low-key party vibes, sides C and D go into deeper, darker fields of increasingly atmospheric sound design.
