Love Manifesto, our 3rd vinyl only release, is Robert David's artistic expression, and an introspection in the meaning of Love. What is love in all it's forms, how we accept or deny it, how society can change the meaning of it and deform it. This is a very special project in which the artist crossed over the realms of sound by creating a painting that was done in paralel with the original tracks, absolutely with no intention of becoming the cover of the project. But somehow it fitted perfectly. With the Minimal and the Romanian sound being at the root of the project, the 2 remixes from Argenis Brito and Macarie, complete the picture and the trip in which we invite you to dive in and hopefully enjoy the "madness" of it, as we did.

Hanagasumi - hazy curtain of flowers, cherry blossoms appearing from a far like a white mist - this phenomenon can be seen during the sakura blossom in Japan. The mysterious musician Shine Grooves inspired by Japanese culture is launching a label of the same name. Shine Grooves owns the underground Quadrat label, his tracks were released on the labels such as Kimochi, Rough House Rosie, Udacha, etc. Hanagasumi's first release is a mix of abstract rhythms with an influence of ambient tracks of the 90s. Each track is filled with magical synth chords with a cozy mood. Compositions with a smooth, atmospheric rhythm prevail on the first side of the vinyl, while the tracks on the second side will make you to get lost in zero gravity.

CÉRÉMONIE is a collective, movement and label from Turkey, which was founded by Maguar. KARMA 001 will be the first release of this project and you can find 16 unique tracks from 16 talented artists.

The name "KARMA" is coming from beloved CÉRÉMONIE family member cat, who lost her life last year.

There are various types of sounds in this album; mostly fast and groovy, sometimes dreamy but always classy!

Anyone familiar with the work of HDSN has seen him making big waves leading the line so brilliantly for his own imprint NUTHIN BUT A SOUL THING over the course of it´s twelve physical releases. If you heard his most recent EP ‘Break Ups 2 Make Ups”’ or the outstanding debut release "We Must Protect This House” on his new sub-label which received overwhelming response from the likes of Pete Tong to Shadow Child, Cinthie and many more of the scene´s true heroes you will know he is an artist unconfined to the restraints of the norm and he displays this once again on his new record “For My People”. NBASTWAX013 marks a return to HDSN´s roots with a new approach towards modern house music and owes a debt to the classic sound from New York, Chicago and Detroit. The title track “For My People" opens the release, encapsulating the spirit of classic deep house with an impressive attention to detail and insistent movement. Its a future deep house anthem featuring a deeply effective piano hook over a powerful House backdrop with a a rib shaking sub bass, utilizing soaring 303’s and soulful sprinkling vocals - stripped back House at it´s finest. Next up is “Werk Ya Body” which applies reverb soaked piano chords, sweeping synth shots and effortlessly shuffling drum programming that maintains captivation for the listener throughout. On the flip is “Life Is Good” that creates a beautifully flowing dynamism combining a positive piano hook with pounding drums & unfaded strings to maximum effect setting the mood for an uplifting house thomper. Closing the release with “Take Care” which is a smooth, dubbed out affair that demonstrates plenty of restraint yet really locks you into it´s hypnotic groove with the distant pulsating synth line which forges the way before an energetic piano and powerful vocals reset the system. Austria's Paul Walter comes head to head with Romania's most lyrical imprint, Catren. One track per each side, he doesn't compromise when it comes to quality, emotion and execution.

Reminiscent of earlier days Chilean productions which we need not name but will for melancholy's sake, the A side, "Yuil" takes us back to the days of Hireklon and Waiworinao, thought long forgotten and forsaken in favor of cold and austere expressions. Guitar strings harmonically banded together with minimalistic percussions, handclaps and indescifrable vocals compose what will be remebered as a hall of fame track in the years to come.

"Phobo", on the B Side, takes a more classical approach that will most likely bring back memories as well, catering to a more upbeat style, using poliphonic melodies and a two tone theme that drives the track forward alongside discrete drums and a swingy, fast paced bassline.

Switching to "Hacker", a more light hearted third course relying on dub influenced melodies and mid ranged basslines, Paul shows just exactly how versatile he is and the diversity that he is capable of bringing forward.

And so we come to "Rio", which makes use of constant atmospheric elements, the same technical expertise and thought out demeanor, strung togheter to finish off what is a somewhat abstract and tender "swan song" of the EP. Highly recomended and certified classic, vinyl only.

New Chicago talent comin' atcha with that Banging Chicago House Sound!

Another juicy vinyl from Positive Not Happy, releasing the third ep signed by label owners The Lumens. The title track “Milosky” starts as a high voltage electronic club groove typical of the duo, developing on a straight subtle bassline with airy arpeggios and contemporary acid elements. On the remix task, none less than Federico Molinari delivers a surprising electronic funk gem filled with plenty of synths combined in a top-class cosmic jam. On the B side The Lumens include in the Ep their very first studio joint, “Krember” is a solid spacy track lead by an addictive acid phrase and lush pads for a sure massive crowd reaction. Turin’s rising talent Denaila remixes “Sunrise”, completing the pack with an impressive raw minimalist cut.

This record, once again, offers a wide spectrum of Superfiction's music taste, encapsulating minimal house - tech sound - deep grooves, all blended in a fresh and modern way.

With music promotion being what it is across the board it is refreshing to see labels keeping the focus on the music rather than wild artwork and overplayed promotional campaigns. Wsntme that has popped up from the underground with an aim to keep the spotlight on the music and not so much who produces it and thus removing any sort of bias form the listeners ear.


For the first EP there are two heavy hitters to choose from. B1 jam ‘Rghtdoe’, a crunchy groover with tight shuffling drums and deeply penetrating bassline. Filtered vocals from a certain Rapper roll over one and other adding serious attitude until the mood is lightened considerably with the emergence of the looping string section first made an appearance in the 70’s and has played a part in electronic music since. It doesn’t hang about for long and as quickly as it emerged it is gone leaving the pristine beats behind.

Flipping back over to side A and ‘Mryjn’ is a much more moody, muscular workout. Elongated bass tones and synths are drawn out alongside the pitched down musings of an unknown artist that certainly was not suffering from writer’s block. The inviting paddy synths envelope the lower end of the track frequencies like a warm blanket while the filtered noisey drums kick in all the right directions.

Damavand is a Dub Minimal Vinyl Only Label based in Teheran, Iran

We set a focus on deep minimalistic releases dedicated to the aspects of dub minimal, bringing this sound together with analog equipment and almost forgotten techniques of old roots music.

First release comes from Massud Matin and his Be Rahe Dast EP full King Tubby Jams outta Bremen.

Zeal....Enthusiastic devotion to a cause, ideal, or goal. In our case devotion to deep, dubby, warm mirco grooves.

The label's first release comes from 'Monsieur Georget' which is an alternative alias for well-known French producer Chris Carrier, who many will recognise from his own label Adult Only Records, along with releases on other labels including Robsoul, One Records, OFF Recordings and Silver Network.

The release also features a remix from stellar German artist DeWalta, who along with a number of seminal releases on Meander, is a regular collaborator with Mike Shannon and boasts releases on other labels including Vakant, Haunt and Visionquest.

Track one titled Le Village Flottant' is the first of the three originals on the release. Setting the tone of what's to come, it has stripped back drums with delicate sprinkles of delay that are brought to life with a wonky lead synth and poignant piano stabs. The track fuses intricacy with dancefloor focused energy.

Second track called Mecrant Des Oceans' has gliding synths that line the back of the mix whilst the morphing tones and subtle squelch of an acid line provides the momentum. Murky and mysterious, there's a metallic ring to the percussion and it's a fine example of how less can often be so much more.

Third on the release is the DeWalta remix of Le Village Flottant' and keeping the originals ride, he adds his own dub Techno influence. With new synth parts he cuts the already stripped drums to a bare minimum, which gives his added synths plenty of room to breathe and creates a captivating ambience.

Finishing the EP is the third original track titled Picnic Dans Le Metro' and like the rest of this release, it twists and turns with rippling textures and deep atmospherics. Each drum hit is crafted with expert precision and every textured synth sound merges to create the perfect groove and mood.

Following our deep & dubby vibes, this time are our good friend Olly Vanc, as usual there is no digital promotion and it’s limited edition.
