Insane Code Recording is ready to amaze you with its second vinyl, containing 4 techno bombs suitable for the most demanding dancefloors. Gianluca Corsi, who needs no introduction, opens this new release with an astounding track called Emisphera, followed by Max Sensation, ICR Label owner, who brings out a modern techno journey full of vibe, called Hypnotic Suggestion. In the end, the record is completed with an original mix by Suave called The test followed by an impressive remix by Federico Guglielmi, who pulls out his personal vision of techno, rich in a selection of sounds that will take you on a journey between old school and new school techno.

Dana Ruh's Brouqade has long been renowned for its many eclectic and unpredictable sounds. In that essence, the label's latest signing is a fitting fit. Kamran Sadeghi is an NYC based electronic music producer who is well versed in unconventional soundscapes. As likely to release an electronic music EP as he is turn his hand to film scores or more ambient textures, Sadeghi has collaborated with everyone from Patti Smith to Berlin club, Berghain. A live artist of considerable depth and panache, his signing to Brouqade marks another high point in the label's story.

On BQD042, Sadeghi delivers two originals as well as a collaboration with Dana Ruh. Kicking off the release is the sounds of Come Here'. An oddball mishmash of different sounds and strands, its a delicate track that clocks in at over 13 minutes. Minimal but never lacking in colour, it's reminiscent of Ricardo Villalobos at his most intoxicating best.

The B side gets underway with Compound Eye', a percussion-laced number that's more tailored to peak time pastures. Gradually picking up steam as it unfurls, it's soon imbued with a deep underbelly, the likes of which only adds to its appeal. Culminating the release is the sounds of Call & Response', the previously alluded to collaboration with Brouqade boss, Dana Ruh. Starting off on a zippy, scaled back vibe, it quickly picks up steam, resulting in a chugging number that's filled to the brim with flair and panache. A pair that evidently work great together, Sadeghi and Ruh's contribution to the EP is the icing on top of what's an all-round excellent listen.

Ciprian Stan joins Sonet Music for their 3rd outing and this London based Romanian does not disappoint. After recent outings on Pool House,Yarn Records, Piano Forest and Music Is Art, his Sonet EP sees him in top form.

Channels opens the EP with a consistent low end groove, combining quirky samples and clever percussion with the right level of energy to keep interest on the dance floor.

Next up is Some X Some Y which from the outset has a killer groove and bass line, with plenty of attention given to its clever drum programming, a great track which will fit in any club room.

Planks with it's haunting synths and hypnotic elements will suit sets later into the night.

Several Times has a typical Romanian sound and gets a little more quirky with it's unbalanced feel, the drums are on point here with a sublime tommy low end.

This is an appetizer : 4 “club” mixes of new tracks from Joakim’s forthcoming album Second Nature,all re-mixed by the man himself, navigating between hypnotic Techno, trance-inducing Downtempo
and percussive New Beat.
This is probably Joakim’s most ambitious project so far. An album about our relationship to Nature to make it short or how Western civilization disconnected Nature from Culture. Every song was born
using field recordings as a basis canvas, the sounds of Nature are the lead voice here. A nature that is transformed, sublimized, questioning our ideas of what’s artificial, what’s the wilderness, the place of humans in the age of the Anthropocene and painting a psychedelic landscape to open our ears and our hearts.
The artwork features a lenticular print (2 images in 1) showing Naruto, a monkey who took a selfie using a photographer’s camera who later tried to claim the copyright of that image. That claim raised questions whether copyright can be extended to “non-humans” and was ultimately rejected by the U.S. Copyright Office who specifically listed 'a photograph taken by a monkey' as an example of an item that cannot be copyrighted.

Our 6th record is a rather special affair featuring tracks by The Spooks, Marc Heun & Tidy Daps.
Heun heads up the A side with heavy drums and melting keys across both versions of Freqiem.

Flip it over for label boss Matt Prehn’s interpretation of The Spooks 2000 hit “Things I’ve Seen.”
Slow and dirty with more than a nod to the breathtaking original.

Long time label contributors Tidy Daps get their first taste of wax with Hear The Heart. A bouncy peak time affair with epic piano line that’s sure to move the floor.

Closing things off we have Marc Heun’s summery feelings of Kanu.

Kicking off the A side is the one like Will Sonic with 'Can I Touch You', a driving disco belter with lashes of vocals and a stomping groove made to fill the dance floor.

Next up is Marco Lazovic Feat. John Lankaster with the uber funky and soulful 'Up All Night'. Feel good lyrics and super catchy processed guitar riffs a plenty make 'Up All Night' an instant classic!
Flipping over onto the B side we have 'Runnin’' by Christian Arno, a full-on pounding disco beauty with a pulsing, peak time rhythm that just won't stop!

Finishing up we have Jesusdapnk with 'Seasons', a soulful and uplifting disco jam with a hands in the air vibe: perfect music for any discerning party!

The house music dance scene was one of the most integrated and progressive spaces in the 1980s where gays, blacks, and other minority groups were able to dance together in a positive environment. House music helped to glue communities together it was like church for people who have fallen from grace and it´s influence on the development of the modern dance music culture is undeniable. Until today the idea of equality, unity, love, and respect is a widespread set of principles for the rave culture which developed out of house and retained a foothold on the underground scene but also across it´s borderlines all over the globe. The new NBAST Sub-label “We Must Protect This House” is a homage to the ethos of the Paradise garage and to the early days of house music, to Chicago and New York and the music culture itself with a more grown up approach … but with the same distinctive spirit as #datsoulthang

Title track ‘Reflection’combines a rounded bassline and rich atmospherics to create a late night bomb worthy of the top artists that have been supporting it.

London hotshot producer Frazer Campbell reworks ‘Standby’ into a peak time cosmic groover while TIJN takes control of ‘Reflection’ where he introduces pumped up breakbeats turning off on a tidy new direction from the original.

Here's a new episode from Pit Spector's unique live label concept. This time Narcotic Syntax join forces with him to present a space cruise EP for a dance travel.

Conceiving a new concept that pulls together production and performance, Pit Spector threw a series of Prospector parties since 2014. For each soiree he invites a guest artist to his studio to work on exclusive live shows for the club as well as on new music for the label. In 2015, Pit invited musical Jedi Yapacc and James Dean Brown for a Parisian residency in his studio, and now they release the fruits of their labour.

During this session, the band recorded hours of hardware improvisation, merging their musical skills to present a full-live EP. Mixed at Yapacc's Berlin studio, the record sums up a narcotic sense of music devoted both to melody and groove.

The A-side presents a strong, dubby dance tune combining a vibrating, techno-related flow with soulful vocals to result in an elastic astral journey.

B1 opens the space for floating harmony to make way for a love song that's perfect to start a DJ set, a romantic affair, or for enjoying a starry sky.

B2 reflects perfectly the synergy between Narcotic Syntax and Pit Spector with its evolving beats and hypnotic synths that shift listeners and dancers into the sonic opulence of an electronic space opera.

The artwork by graffiti artist O'clock envelopes this musical narcollaboration in a brillant science fiction design.
