We here at Silence In Metropolis are very excited to bring you our second Vinly only VA release with some heavy tracks from an eclectic group of talent.

This release kicks off on Side A with west coast based underground craftsman Pezzner who brings us "Devil's Advocate" which is an organic dark, moody, percussive exploration that is both artistic as it is dance floor ready. Sascha Dive returns to SIM and brings his signature deep house vibe on "Chez Groove" that will make any house head move.

Sibe B brings the London break out artist James Dexter to SIM with "Inside," a deep cut featuring a heart throbbin bassline, a kick and snare combo that chugs with anthem like vocal hits... must have for a deep set! The final cut is a classic deep house masterpiece called "Nine" delivered by the Italian duo Marsupials that has everything we love about house, deep chords and pads, a solid bottom end, and a healthy arpeggio to keep things grooving.

German label Bondage Music delivers the six instalment of its ‘Bondage Games’ series. Another vinyl only release, this time with four fresh tracks from Markus Homm, Andre Kronert, Pornbugs and Dust Yard.

G76 establishes a sonic universe that dares to immerse you with a piercing and powerful tone on his latest EP for Naural - Giarmata Plutonium. His electronic arrangements are enriched with seductive energy, delivering a straight-forward sound that reveals modern minimal-tech templates.

“A good colonel is hard to find” introduces a hollowed-out groove with eventual vocal shadings and glitchy modular accents providing the ear candy.

“Unmark my words” is a chunky four-to-the-floor track with tantalizing details like ascending bleeps, precisely arranged snares and drum hits, but as it builds, delirious synth spiral in a maddeningly intricate manner.

There's a satisfying groove and dynamic to “Forzza verbos” - a perfect minimalist setup of a percussion loop & throbbing bassline, almost intimidatingly heady.

“Warrior not soldier” is a full-flavoured G76 track, orchestrating different tonal bleeps, vocal snatches and a medley of sounds -. a perfect match for the club's bottom-heavy system.

‘Empirical Test Vol. I - VA’, our very first release, it’s finally out. Let us show you our minimalistic sonic lab. We believe in tracks for the dancefloor with an eye in experimental and introspective views of electronic music. A1. ‘Frics’ is probably the most well-known work here. Developed by Romanian talent Cojoc it has become a serious festival banger thanks to a killer bassline mixed with an aggressive synthesizer which remains a machine gun. A2. ‘Mal So Mal So’ arrives directly from Switzerland. Produced by Marques Sigi mixing spatial and analog sounds with an exquisite modular electronic sequence. The rhythm is marked by catchy kicks and swift hi hats plus some straightforward pads and effects. Classy and harmonious. B1. ‘Space Runner’ involves Angel Mosteiro and Joel Vazquez —part of Bohrium crew— premiering his first production as Akela. In this track the duo propose breaky atmospheres, rhythmic movements full of textures in a complete sequence of energetic synthesizers. The melody makes you traveling into a sonic, organic and hypnotic deepness. B2. ‘The Muggles’ by Panamanian producer Avidel proposes a playful, funny and easygoing track. Twisted basslines, fresh summer beats, nice grooves, and good vibes.

For the first time since its original 1984 release, the original U.K. edition of the album, a.k.a. “BMW1,” is being issued on vinyl – this time with the two original U.K. cassette bonus tracks. With 16 tracks, LEGEND will now be a 2-LP set for maximum audio fidelity.

Note that this is vinyl-only, there will be no digital equivalent.

Daniel Broesecke teams up again with old friend Silat Beksi and their signature style of smooth and playful techno is guaranteed to make your feet move instantly.

In this release on Particular, a sub-label of Vivus that that is chasing a distinct sound, Daniel and Silat are creating a dreamy soundscape that will reach both the soul and the mind.

Holy Beats EP kicks things off in style, with the track that gives the title. Wasting no time, a thrilling bassline makes its appereance on the first beat and you this will be a no nonsense techno track. As moments go by, more elements are added to this powerful journey until it morfs into a truly industrial techno masterpiece.

On the second part of the EP we are Trapped In some mesmerising sounds with a strong layer of direct bass lines. Again, there is no nonsense here – a linear journey, taking us above and beyond and a perfect tune to get you moving on the dancefloor.

San Francisco’s Manjumasi makes its first foray into wax with the vinyl-only release of History Ate Itself by San Francisco producer and label alumnus R. Fentz. First up on the A-side is the title track - a complex and textured piece, full of intricate percussion and sonic detail. The track evokes a sense of journey, with synth pads building and working through stages of crescendo and release. A percussive, punchy bassline holds steady throughout, giving a sense of time pushing ever-forwards.


Next up on the AA is Glitter, a more light-hearted number with a friendly and inquisitive disposition. As a counterpoint to the urgency and insistence of History, here R. Fentz uses delicate, gentle touches to create an inviting, warm atmosphere. The bubbly groove has a delightfully playful bounce that washes over the listener, with sparkling synth details float over the silky groove as the track works its way forward.

On the flip side, Ukrainian producer Silat Beksi takes on remix duties and delivers a supremely heady and tasteful reworking of Glitter. His version builds a soft bed of pads over a punchy groove. A very tasty dub-filtered synth groove slowly works its way into the mix. The result is a complex and organic sonic tapestry with no shortage of sparkle and shine, but plenty of subterranean depth. Yet another extremely solid offering in this sought-after producer’s vinyl-only catalog.

Longstanding series Afterhours. unveils its debut vinyl record, as they tap Romanian underground producer RQZ for EP ’Sublevels’.

Following lauded releases for Modeight, Mr KS & Friends and Unic, the Club Midi resident cuts deep with his signature sound, plying dark hues and warped basslines to maximum effect.
