After an outstanding Ibiza season with several appearances on the Island, including his HYTE residency at Amnesia, tINI & the Gang and Sankeys to name a few, Yaya is ready to unleash his next track on Tamango. The third release on his own Tamango Records is another solo EP for the head-honcho who now delivers 'Closer' and we're super glad to see Berlin based Mike Shannon on the remix duties. The title track 'Closer' is a captivating lush masterpiece and features the beautiful vocals of Russian artist Eka Moon. It immediately kicks in with deep kicks and subterranean bass and the vocal totally turns the track into a sexy and intimate mood with a superb amalgamation of drums, pads and delayed synths. The intense and sumptuous groove is top notch quality with Yaya's meticulous attention for subtleties and details, creating a true heady dancefloor brew. On the flip, B1 is about 'Close Encounters' with Mike Shannon on the remix who completely takes the track into another direction with sinister and electrical atmospheres. His version of 'Closer' starts a two minutes crescendo of tension and anxiety with a misted use of the vocals until a lethal kick and bass combination together with a lean groove makes of this remix an amazing hypnotic club killer. Ending the affairs on the EP is the dub mix of 'Closer' which emphasizes all the single elements of the original track without the vocal part.

'Alpha & Omega' is the fourth release on VSA Records, the sagacious imprint spearheaded by Romanian duo Vinyl Speed Adjust. The label's latest installment comes in the form of an inaugural project from Robert Apetrei, one half of Dubsons.
'Alpha' fulfills the a-side, presenting a rugged cut of rolling percussive repetition, synonymous with the textbook groovy sound we've quickly become accustomed to expect from the label. Intertwined with a profound melodic atmosphere, the undercurrent bass line transcends you on a floatacious journey, leaving you revelling in a minimalistic causatum, and longing for more.
On the b-side, 'Omega' completes this reinvigorating EP, with a techno centric dynamism that exudes perpetual energy. With its dubby and relentless groove, fused with a more subtle melody, its dualism between peak time breakdown and the beginning of after-hours, ascertains Robert's aptitude for producing music of the highest order.

The second vinyl release from Nollern Records draws together three cuts of minimalistic groove-driven techno.
Francesco Passantino has delivered two hypnotic dance floor excursions built on throbbing basslines and eerie vocal samples. Tuberoom' is a melodic ride with haunting synths and groovy percussion, whilst Tabu' goes a shade deeper, as mesmerising as it is stripped back.
On the flipside the label founders craft a mind-bending modular kissed restyle of the original, with inspiration taken straight from the Far East. Rich in emotive energy, Nollern envelope the track with a prime vocal sample and subtly enchanting chords.
Phunkadelica are back to Multinotes with the long awaited first single "Pensiero Stupendo" taken from their forthcoming first album "Phunk Ad Elica". Based on a infectious vocal hook, Pensiero Stupendo, is a slow tempo tune combining strong cosmic layers and balearic rhythms. On top of the original mix we also added a winner remix by Musumeci which created a pleaser for the peaktime moments. The package is completed by the sexy "Phunkadelicatamente" (for those who like it funky discoish) and by the vinyl only “Init”.

Deep in India Volume 6 is probably the most intense release by live electronic artist & Indian disco edit king Todh Teri. It's a definite milestone in his ongoing endeavour of releasing and (most importantly) representing mysterious disco & house edits - from the Indian silver screen - on vinyl. He immediately gets down to business with Sampadan 18 as it swoons you down to disco town, providing you quintessential 80s thunder & lightning for competitive street dancing.
In Sampadan 19, he passes the remix baton to AAGUU (his first release), who further intensifies the dance off with a trippy arpeggiator induced frenzy. September 2018 will see the launch of Butter Side Up Records with a 12' that embodies the considered club sound of the much loved Leeds and London party.It comes from fast rising Idle Hands and Northsouth artist Christian Jay with a remix from The Brane owner Youandewan and offers four cuts of slick electronic house music complete with artwork by Sophie Doulala.Butter Side Up is a now eight-year-old party that has carved out its own musical niche. Dealing in tasteful house and techno with a leaning towards breakbeats, garage and real deepness, the night is built on a solid core of residents, with guests like Craig Richards, Nicolas Lutz and Margaret Dygas also having played their intimate events. The label's outlook will continue in this vein, with a focus on releasing three EPs a year from talented friends and close associates.Opener 'Running' is dance floor focussed house with nimble rubber drums and slick hits that make you move. Curious synth sounds and rich design make it a timeless track with an air of sci-fi trippiness. 'Green' hits a little harder, with drilling sub bass that pulls you in deep as a microcosm of icy hits, alien sounds and synth trails flesh out the futuristic groove.Flipside 'Jupiter' is a cerebral warm up tune with spacious pads circling round as kinetic little hits, whirs and bass stabs paint a colourful cosmic picture. It's a micro-groove that really gets under your skin, and is backed up with a remix from Youandewan. A long-time friend of BSU who has made his mark in Berlin with in the know cuts on cult labels like Eclipser Chaser, Voyage and his own The Brane, his version of 'Green' is super silky, with lush pads soothing your soul as the muted bassline and bouncy drums set your feet to work.This EP marks a typically tasteful first instalment from the Butter Side Up boys.
