We open 2018 with a new Various SCL004 named "The Beat Bunch EP". We have the pleasure to have on the A side,
after a very noticed ep on Sampling As An Art Records, Le Grand Détournement! "Devinette" and "Mexican Food" 2 solid tracks
with a universe between Hip Hop/ Funk samples, Rhodes & big filters, followed by "About Jazz" a funk jazz influence track
by the head of Sure Cuts, GZZ. On the B side, a new recruit! Jehan (Star Creature) delivers us a groovy moody sound with his "Cherimoya" and we close this ep with a faithful member of the Sure Cuts family, Keedo and "Don't Tell The Truth (About Our Love)" a serious House track, vocal loops, deepness background & slamming rhythmic.

Manifested in Berlin‘s iconic club scene, Michal Zietara and Oskar Szafraniec quickly developed a friendship through their mutual passion for all things in electronic music.

After several b2b DJ sets across Berlin and Poland came about a time to put two musically talented heads together and work in the studio.

This first and not last EP from the newly formed
Loser Records in Berlin is a modern reconfiguration of minimal inspired voice of stripped back house music. A spiritual and bracing energy of active percussion throug- hout, ties in the „less is more“ repertoire without the clichés and all the originality.

London based label and party Butter Side Up follow-up a sold out debut release from Christian Jay with another helping of atmospheric house music, this time from Leeds based rising star Midge Thompson. The long time BSU associate serves up three tracks that are complemented with a rare remix from the legendary Titonton Duvante.

Opener 'Destination 2242' is a slick and spaced out broken beat groover. Sci-fi motifs wither next to a sprinkling of garage percussion and rubbery drum programming is brilliantly loose and body popping. 'Delta' gets even deeper, with skeletal drums knocking out an infectious late-night rhythm while dreamy pads flesh things out. Spacecrafts drift in the background to add some cinematic stylings and make it perfect for the more close-knit dance floors.

On the flip, 'Beeston Lights' picks up the pace with perfectly rolling kicks pulling you in as keys twinkle up top like a distant metropolis at night. It's smooth and breezy house music to carry you away on a blissful vibe. Remixing is Titonton Duvante, a long time influence on the Butter Side Up crew and a cult figure in heady house circles thanks to definitive work on his own Residual Recordings, Mosaic and many others. His chunky take on techno is hard to beat, as proven here with a remix that re-works the drums into busy, restless things that work the feet while the Americans's typically ethereal pads bring real depth.

Description: The silence is over! GummiHz is back on the release front! A dedicated frequency explorer, GummiHz follows a phylosophy that making music should always be adventurous, interesting and fun. For this reason, he has dedicated the last couple of years in rebuilding his studio setup and now it is time to share the fruits of this expedition.

"Groove is in the Hertz" includes a selection of recordings, showcasing the perspective of GummiHz on minimal house and techno. The series is split into parts with part one featuring two minimal cuts. "Aerini", on side A, offers eleven and a half minutes of miinimal techno bliss. Anthemic voices combined with live recordings set a balearic atmosphere, while sitting elegantly on top of finely programmed rhythmics and basslines. Flip it over and "Out Out" brings out even more rhythm to the game

Gianluca Rattalino with his first vinyl release wants to present the freshness and elegance that his sound represents. A record to be enjoyed and listened to each detail in order to understand how all tracks communicate. To complete this cut there is also a remix, very dark in every detail and that complies with the conception of the vinyl meaning. The remix is signed by the producer Background (Little Helpers / Baile Musik / Monique Musique).

For the past decade, TheSounds has managed to keep one foot in the minimal underground and another in deep house territory.

THESLTD005 brings an amazing vinyl compilation with the side A produced by Ittetsu (Fasten Musique / Fuse London) and remixed by Dana Ruh (HOWL / Brouqade). Both featuring a strong songcraft with a liquid groove and swinging vibes

Side B is produced by label founder, Dirty Culture (akbal music / monocord) and remixed by a rising talent from Switzerland, Phillipp Lichtblau. There's plenty to admire in the deep house atmosphere-laden slant.

Helmed by Cristiano Cellu and Simone M, Be Apart is an emerging Italian label with a penchant the more discerning side of house and techno. Based in Florence, the imprint kicked off only recently courtesy of an an auspicious V/A that saw the aforementioned label heads featured alongside the likes of Nadia Popoff, Marko Nastic and Peter Makto & Gregor S. For their latest installment, Cellu and Simone M team up once more on the electrifying sounds of the Phaconto EP.
A boisterous cut of peak-time techno, the title track is an evocative track that's without doubt been made with the night's most passionate moments in mind. Although it starts off on a relatively innocuous tip, it soon morphs into a baseline-led banger, the likes of which is yearning to be played on a vast soundsystem. A surefire call for dancefloor destruction, 'Phaconto' offers a fitting insight into two producers who clearly have a clear understanding in the studio.
On the flip side of the vinyl-only release is Federico Grazzini's remix. Ibiza regulars will be all too aware of Grazzini's talents, and aside from being a resident at Zoo, he's also a resident at Florence's best known nightspot, Tenax. Grazzini keeps the original's eerie vibe intact on his interpretation, but adds some clever drums and a heightened sense of suspense that elevates it to further levels still. Be Apart's latest release sure ain't subtle - but that my friend, is exactly the point. If you're after something that's sure to move the floor this weather, then look no further.

After a short hiatus, the mysterious TZU series continues! TZU04 once again provides 4 tried and tested club cuts! Looking to follow in the footsteps of its predecessors this record is set to fly off the shelves and onto the dance floor.

LumièresLaNuit (alias LLN) is glad to welcome DJ and music composer Keumel for its 9th release.
Keumel got his first booking as a DJ in 2011 when he joined the Parisian DJ collective Jekyll & Hyde.
On the B-side, Night Drips - eponym track of this EP - presents a tripy drum loop enlivened with long chords making the whole
track smooth and hypnotic. Finally, Dawn's Delights closes the EP with a rather cloudy atmosphere underlined by atmospheric
synthetiser nappes, melancholic chords and organic breakbeats.
Keumel got in touch with LLN thanks to Soudcloud. Fascinated by his sounds, LumièresLaNuit was keen to get to know the artist.
Indeed, at LLN it isn't only about music but also about the personality of the artists. It was around some beers that Night Drips
was born as Keumel proved himself as a discreet and easy-going artist.
Last February, Keumel added another string to the bow becoming a music producer when he realeased his debut EP 7 Hours Trip
(IBL04) on Inner Balance, sub imprint of Chez Damier's Balance Recordings, that includes a remix by rising Italian music producer
and DJ Domenico Rosa.
On the A-side, Les Marcheuses unveals deep influences coming straigt from the other side of the Channel. The track
distinguishes itself with its dynamic and lulling feminine voice cadenced by a groovy bass line.
Night Drips EPis a story from day till night - the slow, invisible and intangible transition from light to dark through dusk. This also
holds true for the changing feelings caracterising each track thoughout the EP.

it's all about Omni A.M. Coming up in Chicago, pioneering American tech-house duo Omni AM relocated to New York where they refined their uncompromising style of psychedelic dance music. "Smurfette's Big Night," ridiculous title and all, appeared on the group's 2000 EP, "New York Sessions" - the first in a string of critically acclaimed underground classics recorded in their brief but prolific time in the city. This rare and much-coveted track has finally been remastered and released with new remixes by Spacetravel and Dewalta & Shannon.
