Music means various things to artists, but for Dan Andrei, it's a playground where his off-hand approach and diverse productions are taking control, defining his signature sound.

Introducing his first Amphia release “Loose Dots”, Dan Andrei is once again proving his dynamic, yet discreet technique, one that can constantly bring out refreshing tracks.

“SOS” is a track driven by percussions and retro chords, with a touch of acoustic bass and a dose of shakers throughout the groove. “In the bass” is focused around a heavy bassline, with a twist of irregular notes drifting through, and a modulated voice that comes and goes unexpectedly.

“Still Unclear” and “Thing wa” represent the joyful side of the EP; The first track, introduced by a quick elevation between playful percussions, sequenced chords, and a tight groove, acts like a shapeshifter to a more deep house approach. The second track extends the melody-driven sonic composition, in between the elusive rhythm and the delicate synth line, a provocative swing that marks a vivid ending.

Resolute Label's tenth release, The Nest EP , features the head honcho himself, Elon. Fractious , a techno number with swirling synths and reverberated vocal stabs that echo throughout. On the flipside, Elon collaborates with techno don Alexi Delano aka ADNY to produce Flirtface , a groovy 303 bassline track with resonant synth licks that keeps the mood rolling. The B2 vinyl exclusive track, Meander , features a second collaboration with KiNK.
Offered as a digital exclusive and co-produced by David Scuba, Last Call features a modulated bassline and intricate drum programming that effortlessly rolls along.

Nicolas Bougaïeff presents his new EP on seminal British imprint NovaMute. As a producer he harbours a diverse musical background, having studied in a conservatoire setting whilst foraying into anti-authoritarian rave culture. He is also a respected lecturer, regularly teaching masterclasses in composition and speaking at global events such as Mutek and Ableton Loop - the results of which come to life in the inquisitive spirit of his productions. Cognitive Resonance explores elements of psytrance, gabber and techno through a compositional lens, drawing on the artist's love for avant-garde forms and long-standing relationship with the electronic music community. The title track lays out long, expansive phrases and warped crescendos to create a disorienting structure, whilst distant harmonies, distorted kick drums and shattering effects merge into a hypnotic form on 'Truthful Hyperbole'. Lastly, 'Fake News' mangles our sense of rhythmic familiarity, disrupting the 4/4 beat with a complex metre and sinister melody. This is NovaMute's first release since MOTOR (Bryan Black and Oly Grasset) over ten years ago. T as well as forging invaluable links with labels such as Tresor and Probe, which allowed them to license rare tracks for a wider audience. Forthcoming releases on NovaMute will include EP's from Terence Fixmer and Charlotte de Witte.

In Chinese philosophy, TAO stands for the absolute principle underlying the universe, combining within itself the principles of yin and yang and signifying the way, or code of behavior, that is in harmony with the natural order. Juxta Position returns once more to his own imprint with two slices of epic techno. Kinaesthesia is a subtle tool track with added depth, as waves of synth chords wash over deep percussion in increasing intensity. Barrier Block however hits straight between the eyes, with its fusion of varying styles. A half breakbeat rhythm section builds in intensity before an early 90's Frankfurt influenced melodic synth construction reveals itself, culminating in a spectacular crescendo. Kanja Records is sincerely honored to present its seventh vinyl release, based on a concept called Sunday Mornings. With this series of releases we will focus on that warm up, early morning, after party gems and slowly fading away from peak time music. Our philosophy behind this concept is that the focus goes to the tracks being timeless, and music that you can listen to in every time of day and night. Music that offers a vast variety, but in the end coming together in that sweet and warm morning glory.
24 Shots by Maki Polne was definitely our first pick for the first track on this release. Minimalistic sound with nice warm pads and freakish sound is the style that is perfect for our series.
Cielo by Lights Electronika and Valeria Croft perfectly sits beside our opening track, setting a mysterious vibe with warm long pads and atmospheric sounds.
Silly Lili by Fusal, an opening track on our b side, with nice minimalistic and laid back grooves certainly deserves a spot on our series.
Looking For The Unknown by Bauch and Henrik is the final track on this vinyl release. A really special track with nice piano pads nicely and slowly completes our release.

The first release by the Amsterdam based duo Caim on there self-titled label. The duo's distillation of the everyday voices captivated on this mindset focused four-track EP. Each track stands as an analysis of the deep, groovy and detail driven biota. Soothing atmospheres and pulsating synths offer us a first glimpse into Caim's state of mind.

Pale Springs Records proudly presents its third release ‘Sunday Jams’. Niles Cooper steps up with a four-tracker packed with gospel vocals and oldschool house beats. With everything from Chicago House to Jersey House to Italo Disco it is a testament to the influences that shaped the Dane’s sound.

A1 is fast-paced disco infused floor-filler with soaring gospel vocals and airy strings.

A2 is a nod to the 80’s italo disco sound, with a driving bassline, lush synth lines and fluttering arpeggios.

B1 is a thumping Jersey House track with thick piano chords, tight drums and a groovy bassline.

B2 closes off the EP on an introspective vibe. Rhodes melodies intertwine with airy strings on this Chicago House track taking the listener on a ride through soft basslines, woodwind melodies and celestial pads.
