Two very detailed and subtle tracks with the name "Micro Vocal and Supernova" let us hear his musical passion, which has been his passion since the 90's. This lightness in "Micro Vocal" and its driving groove are Guido's unique handwriting, it makes you almost mesmerized and hypnotized. Vocal snippets, a grooving bassline, playful sounds and a hypnotic atmosphere are the ingredients of this track. With the track 'Super Nova' Guido banishes us into a mercilessly brilliant monotony of an endless loop. Consistently from beginning to end, the listener is driven by a pulsating groove. Marc Leclair aka Akufen, has long been considered one of electronic music's most fascinating producers. An early pioneer of the so-called 'microhouse' sound, he's perhaps best known for his work on Perlon and aside from Akufen, his Horror Inc. alias. His latest comes at us from emerging Italian label, Telharmonic Texture. The label's third release (following releases by Jeff Samuel and Paradroid ft. a remix by label boss, Pressure Point), 'Music 2 Wiggle 2' sees the Canadian perk up with three original tracks. As always with Akufen, they're striking in their originality and level of detail especially.

With his first release on the Poker Flat Wax series, the young Brit drops three new mission statements from the underground, each unified by a slick production sensibility and irresistible feel for groove. Voices is a deep bomb - a shuffling, kinetic rhythm with oceans of space for subtle melodic elements and textures. Spread out over eight and a half minutes, this is one to get lost to. Point Blank's deep pads and detuned kick drum reference Detroit's classic house sound, the raw drums and vocal snippets adding a truly basement vibe. Area 51 is another atmospheric late night jam, with a bumping rhythm track and subtle pad washes - stripped down and weaponised for the serious dancers.

Also on this Ep four new artists are on board : Marco Effe, Alexandar Ivkovic, Neverdogs and CLiVe. 'Weird Tales' is the Marco Effe track, an incredible artist of Digital Traffik family and founder of his own "Impress" party on Watergate Berlin. Kick and bass lines are big, the melodies are infectious and techno just keeps on giving... simply amazing! Alexandar Ivkovic presents 'NBDG' : in this track merge is signature techno-detroit sound into something that still contains stacks of class and character. Throughout their track "State Of Blind" there is a sense of tension that is created through the eerie pads and synths combining to create different rhythms to keep the listener on their toes.
