Remember when techno was all about creating the soundtrack for the future Remember when there were no borders between styles or scenes Remember when your favourite records were just white label vinyls, stamped with cryptic names

This was exactly around the time Edge of Motion first made their mark on electronic music. Even now, decades after they first burst on the scene, seminal tracks like Set Up 707 and albums like Planet Gong Realities and Ad Hoc are still frequently played by techno's most revered selectors.

With the techno scene broadening its scope again in recent years - also embracing more experimental forms of electronic music like ambient and electronica - it was time for an Edge of Motion comeback, Dylan Hermelijn and Gertjan Schonewille agreed.

Firmly rooted in the radical 90's, but with twenty more years of production skills under their belt and a keen ear for contemporary Techno and ambient, they're once again paving the way for innovative electronic music.

In 2016, they start their EOM (vinyl only) label as an under the radar side project, just a cool platform for them to put out some of their most outrageous material. But since the first few releases stirred up quite a storm, they've now also agreed on doing a few
live shows. But only the shows where they can be all across the board. It's the love of experimental techno that has brought them
together after all and they'd like to keep that spirit alive.

Based in Bucharest and studying audio engineering at the SAE Institute, Groovesh has already achieved numerous milestones in his career as a DJ and producer. During his residency at Answer Iasi he played alongside artists such as Valentino Kanzyani, Vera, Praslea, Priku or Vid aka Egal 3.

Following his 2015 stand out release on FarFromNormal Groovesh joins the Leftback roster with his soon to be signature groovy deep minimal across 4 tracks on vinyl only.

Rising Manchester born producers Mason Collective and TeeFunk deliver the third release on The Mekanism's vinyl only imprint Worx.

Mason Collective are a three-strong alliance of DJs and producers who have recently been drawing attention in the underground music scene for their explosive DJ sets and their highly renowned MVSON events.

TeeFunk, Mason Collective affiliate, is a young experienced producer on the verge of gaining the spotlight for his distinctive sound and versatility.

The boys have recently caused a stir with their release on MadTech Records, and are back offering a 4 track EP packed with bumping, percussion-led house with a driving remix from Okain of the lead track The Cure.

Rooted Series is back with a really fresh V/A ready for rock the dance floors.

This time starts with label mate Dakpa (Rooted/Sukhumvit) who brings a really rolling house track with great ambiances. A2 comes with In Haus Wax label boss TIJN with a minimal chords house with great senses. B side arrives with our partner Rickzor who builded a great old school house track full of groove. The release ends with label boss Bolumar who brings another old school house feeling track.

While following a normal catalog order, the Live Series is a parallel line of releases that will bring to fruition more acoustic-electronic crossbreeds as well as other sonic experiments, each release will also benefit from an one-of -a-kind type of artwork.

Somewhere from the depths of space, the Closed Paradise Records' imprint has been born. At the helm of operations and providing the label's inaugural release is none other than Closed Paradise himself. Side A gets things going with You' which features Closed Paradise's trademark sounds of warm, driving melodies that are complimented nicely with arrangement of rhodes, pads, and soft vocal stabs throughout. On the flip, we delve deeper into space with Lotus' Beat-down tempo grooves. The track boasts a walloping bassline coupled together with hypnotic vocal stabs, and soothing piano keys all blended together to create a groove that takes hold and refuses to let you go. Minimood continues with a deep piece of heady minimal from esteem German producer Sascha Dive with a mesmerizing remix by celebrated Dutch producer Ion Ludwig.
The 'After The Storm' EP is released on Vinyl Only. 'After The Storm' is ten sumptuous minutes of moody and atmospheric deep minimal house with warbling synths, meandering drums and spooky, spaced out atmospheres. The drums roll on free from any friction and the pads are delicate, elegant affairs that circle round you and leave you hanging in a wide open space. Vocals sounds like those from a spaceship's PA and lend the whole thing a sense that you are voyaging through the galaxies. It is a truly burrowing track that gets right into your mind, body and soul. Ion Ludwig's remix is quicker and more synthetic, with waify pads, gently breaking waves and fizzing little modular synth lines that are crisp and rhythmic and will fit perfectly into a set by the likes of Ricardo Villalobos. This is classy and subtle music that is stripped back and slow burning yet has a huge impact.

After 20 years as a dj and several releases on labels just like Anthony Rother´s Datapunk, Dave Clarke´s Whitenoise or co-labs with Gez Varley from LFO, Frank Kusserow took a longer break from the active electronic music scene. In the meantime he produced tons of new tracks that result in his new and vinyl only imprint Sprow Recordings. The name Sprow comes from his career as a BMX professional in the early 80´s and the logo of the label was created in that time also. Herewith he fulfills his long term dream to start a record label, where he only decides about the musical output. The labels philosophy is to always feature different styles on each release, from straight Techno to Acid, Dub, Detroit and more electro influenced or melodic stuff.

The first release "Mind the Acid EP" includes 3 tracks. "Mind the Acid" on the A-Side is a straight forward and epic acid stomper. "Altered States" on B1 is a hypnotic, more melodic piece of techno and "Dub Reason Pt.1" closes the EP with more dubby and quiet vibes. Stay tuned for more releases coming soon on Sprow Recordings.

Anyone who followed the development of house music made in the usa in the last decade will certainly have met the art of Fred Peterkin aka Fred P aka Black Jazz Consortium.

His musical set phrase isn't following new trends. Fred is often simply melting shuffling percussions with elementary melodies. but he does it in a sense that the heavy used and abused phrase "deepness" finally gets a fresh truthfully new meaning.

This new project is directed by Miho in collaboration with Robert Drewek, the owner of respected label RAWAX. It is a special edition 'RAWAX - AIRA EP vinyl series".
