Russian producer Neotnas deliveres 'Slow & Steady', his first EP on Soundtravels (ST006). We've already introduced him on our first various artist EP 'Point Of View Part 1' (ST005). Typical for his sound is that warm, organic feel all over his house and dubtechno productions. Very often accompanied by female vocals and it's almost like you hear somebody play a live instrument if you listen carefully. The EP kicks off with the massive floorfiller 'Trunk Party'. An energetic, solid built up track with that bassline killer hook. 'User mood' has that typical Basic Channel touch. Dubby techno guided by a floating bassline and little pleasant delays. We're slowly moving forward with evolving sticky, dubby beats in the title track 'Slow & Steady'. This one will warm up every dancefloor, but is also very welcome in the afterhours. The last addition to this EP is 'Hold', a warm deephouse track with moody, hopeful and sensitive sounds which reflect beautiful emotions. Timeless material again which covers you up like a warm blanket. Enjoy!

Finally .Look At The Harlequins' serves as an album closer like none other, a perfect distillation of a sound that unfolds like a dystopian nightmare; but one that's sure to play a part in the most hedonistic moments of dancefloor abandon. For the EPs, Exercise One invited some of their talented friends from along the journey to remix their favourite tracks of the duo's back catalogue, for vinyl and digital release. The relationship with each chosen remixer is a story of its own woven across the years, too many anecdotes for this press release but buy them a Hefeweizen and they'll happily share those tales. EP 3 sees Peter Van Hoesen .Wandering' with a swaggering low-end and kitchen-sink percussion that gifts Donato Dozzy the opportunity to pick up the pace and instil a hint of malicious intent with his dusttreated version of .Prowl'. Finally the duo's dearest mad professor Jacopo Carreras pulls us out of the trip and places us firmly back on the dancefloor. Where it all begins and ends.

A 2 tracks EP on Sleep Is Commercial Limited, that testify the talent of the young producer and his attitude for his trade-mark sound: a new style, an hypnotic crossover of house and minimal techno.
To complete the release a massive remix delivered from one member of Ar:pi:ar, Petre Inspirescu.

Second part of the series represented by great collaboration of two Romania finest : Mihigh & Arapu. Usual set: 180 gram, vinyl only, with some special sounds on both sides.

In what was a definitive first year for the imprint, with two solid EPs from Petre Inspirescu and Vlad Caia, Pluie/Noir also endorsed numerous acclaimed Podcasts and served as the platform for various artistic endeavors embraced not only by their own artists but also by the world. To commemorate this achievement, and in a respectful manner to their long time collaborators, the imprint is now releasing a 12 track compilation spread across three 12's showcasing the various sounds that personify the imprint and give their artists a well deserved voice. The narrative to the compilation reflects the minimalistic musical template that is so dear to Pluie/Noir, where simple and complex structures meet along the way in the attempt of creating something that can last in time. Each track is a concise exploration of house music's skeleton, leaving nothing to waste, but never feeling in slightest bit sterile. It's surprising and unpredictable, but in an organized, artistic manner.

J.A.M. Traxx is a lab el Italian label vinyl lovers of Chicago House. is the production of material inspired by the sound of analog synths and machines of the early 80's. J.A.M. prefers the hypnotic atmosphere and everything that shows a genuine passion for the intricate rhythm and counter. J.A.M. introduced in the music market limited 250 copies, with the premise of enhancing some of the old vinyl records with more than 4 tracks on them.

Adrian Niculae better known as Priku is one of bucharest's finest djs and producers as well. After realeasing for labels like arpiar and all inn he now decided to start his own path. Motif will probably feature most of his works from now on, plus some of his close aquaintance's.

Acustic is the name chosen for motif 01 and experiment is the game. Not sounding too far from his last experience on arpiar, Bonita mariposa is a dreamy yet pumping track, filled with shakers and spikes that go along perfectly with the dark piano. Afterhour delight or possibly an intricate starter, who could tell . Marker keeps the darkness but inserts more rhythm, more percussion, more mystery. Micro house is blended with 808 rims and an addictive synth that is sure to keep you moving. 180g pressing

The wandering artists are back for the third instalment of the Birdsmakingmachine series, this time again going deeply into the abysses of house music. 'Multiverse', occupying the whole A-side, is a deep dancefloor affair filled with endless pads which, having been layered onto elaborate drum grooves, fuse together into the endless horizon. The B-side goes into similar territory, while still managing to create a slightly different ambience:
'40th of May' uses intricately groovy steel drum patterns on a long, never-ending journey through the deep depths of the ocean, as for the end credits, 'Dune' rounds off the EP with an instantly hypnotising groove that melts into delayed vocals, slightly darker pads and a galloping, yet smooth sine-wave bassline.
