Experimental producer Parallel Action - aka Jude Greenaway - continues to cement himself as a key player in the trip-hop resurgence with his cinematic, self-titled album.

Released via his own label C7NEMA100, Parallel Action is a space for Jude to combine his passion for Trip Hop, Contemporary Classical and Future Jazz, with sonic storytelling. His unique style is married with collaborations ranging from soulful singers and spoken word artists to scratch DJs, taking the listener on a journey that speaks to the uncertainty of a society on edge. It’s a fascinating and cutting-edge body of work that seamlessly blends experimental Jazz drums with heavy Hip-Hop elements, allowing Jude the freedom to tell stories in his own beguiling way.

"It's like nothing I have ever done before."

For the past ten years, the Bulgarian-Turkish artist Alper Durmush aka Impérieux has been carefully developing his artistic style and building strong momentum with a high-profile following.

Now the young Berlin-based producer enters a fresh chapter with his EP named “Extensions” on Sofia Records’s eight release. It is filled with brisk, forward-looking breaks, raw jungle attitude and highly combustible house. In all this we can still trace Impérieux's emotional signature interwoven into delicate soundscapes and ethno antics.

The place to kickstart this new direction is a symbolic one and in a way - coming back home. In his five-tracker, Impérieux keeps consistent with Sofia Records’ establishment as a breeding ground for hyper-energetic, yet intelligent sound.
And to do the honors, a signature stomping remix has been added by the label headmeister himself - KiNK.

DJ X-cess & Ghost Unit fire up their samplers again with another new 4 track Ep covering Old Skool Hardcore Rave to Jungle.

Newmont’s first release explores a broad-based sound, ranging from breaks to downtempo. The record puts forward a more hybrid-driven score, which is the Paris-based idea for this project. Get your copy from your local record dealer!

Daniel Martin-McCormick, formerly Ital, now Relaxer, returns to Planet Mu with his new album ’Concealer'. The album drifts towards hyper digital sounds and marks Daniel’s return to using a computer with hardware. Combining the ultra-artifice of the digital and its glossy, pure surface qualities, Daniel comments that it “gives the sounds this sickly, shiny dimensionality which is un-human. This decoupling from the human-ness of sound means the sounds can speak in their own special way. Of course, all sounds can speak in their way, but a vivid, digital, melty synth speaks in a way that feels more autonomous, or less tied to historical/encultured musical gestures. It hovers in the air and melts and glides. It's a little gross.”

His return to Planet Mu has been long overdue. the new record is an expansion and development of the ultra-artificial, hybrid digital contortions of his previous material. Welcome back.

Repeat Offender Records - was active between 2006 and 2010, recreating the '92 UK Breakbeat Rave Sound with tracks from label owners Wax & Inferno and a roster of like minded artists pushing the "Nu-Rave" sound at the time. Shall Not Fade welcomes Rotterdam based producer Kessler to the family with six weighty jams for their "Basement Tracks" series. Rising Rotterdam based producer Kessler has been bubbling over the past 12 months with a string of high quality releases on labels such as Yellow Island Records and his own KESSLER TRAX imprint. His first full vinyl outing sees him serve up a bass driven masterpiece for Shall Not Fade's new "Basement Tracks" series. Ambivalent EP is nothing short of spectacular, weighty breaks meet dreamy synth patterns on this killer dance disc.

Following his collaboration with Al Storm, Euphony brings his decades of skill and experience to a slightly more underground, but equally powerful EP. Every track on this one is a winner, from the bouncing madness of Hardy Party to the more subtle but equally devastating 8990, this EP is four tracks of perfection!

Estella Boersma returns to Dance Trax after debuting on the label earlier in 2021. Here we are treated to breakbeat-driven techno, UKG-infused-hard-house, alien-electro-jams - dance floor destruction guaranteed!

CFCF returns with a glossy, euphoric and bright 150 BPM utopian shimmer and robotic vocal cooings courtesy of the mysteriously and adorably rendered vocaloid boy, “Troy”. First recorded in 2018, and blessed in 2020 with a pair of remixes from fellow Canadian dancefloor legends Priori & Ciel, the 9-minute-plus, 3/4 thump of “Never Going Home” has been a staple of CFCF DJ sets for the last few years. Montreal’s Priori’s mix brings a heady braindance crackle, with thick breaks, pinging signals and FM bass, while Toronto’s Ciel goes deep on a dubby and skittery ‘homesick bounce’. CFCF himself closes out the package with a wistful acoustic reprise suitable for a post-euphoria bittersweet sunrise.

What an honour to have the world renowned Krafty Kuts join the FF45 roster with 2 absolute bangers! Side A sees KK flip Nas’ Made You Look with Placebo’s Humpty Dump as championed by the Magnificent DJ Jazzy Jeff! Side B recreates Kenny Dope’s Get On Down with KK’s original spin on it – doubles are a minimum requirement – don’t sleep!

“Earthseed” is a four track EP on Transatlantic, ranging from
ambient to energetic breaks and melodic dub techno.

Lubree revisits the original motif of Hypress with luminous calculation, launching a series of new releases in the near future. Thus, the first release features electro ballads dipped in gentle rawness along with disco bangers and EBM-styled acid house. The original tracks are produced by "Volta Cab" and the remixes by Rotterdam's DJ Overdose and Venezuelan-born and Barcelona-based DJ/producer Cardopusher.

4 track EP from 1993 all tracks written and produced by Rob Haigh under his alias Haute Control.

The legend that is Acen returns after the incredible success of his Trip To The Moon box set with an absolutely epic single "Champion". This new track heralds his upcoming Monolith box set, and is exactly what you would expect from Acen. With a sound like it just came out a few months after Trip To The Moon - which is to say, both forward thinking and timeless, this is heavy beats, classic stabs, ruff bass and proper original rave stabs as only Acen can bring. With flipside remixes from Innercore and Jimmy J & Cru-l-t, this single will be gone before you can imagine it....

Two years ago Credit 00 was lucky enough to find a flat with a winter garden in the midst of the city's concrete vastness. Setting up his studio there, surrounded by plants, facing the backyard oasis with its trees, bushes and birds singing all day was quite the opposite of his usual work environment. The contrast of being in nature whilst surrounded by an urban neighbourhood is explored on Credit 00's latest outing on Uncanny Valley. Two different settings represented on either side of the vinyl record. The street side of the building is Credit 00's typical habitat: rough drums, face melting acid and ghetto style track arrangement. R U READY 2 JACK pays tribute to Belgium New Beat and wants to sound like Hardcore that is coming from the heart. TRUE 2 THE GEHM is an ode to one of the true German Acid innovators, Andreas Gehm (R.I.P.), originally written in 2016 for a compilation, which raised money to help him cover expenses incurred due to his severe health issues. The backyard side reveals the influence of flora and fauna on Credit 00's work. On both THE GARDEN and DEEP IN THE JUNGLE, you can hear his synthetic interpretation of mother nature's repertoire. Birds chirping, acid frogs croaking and the wind blowing through the trees to the sound of jungle drums. Despite all the differences between the concrete and the green jungle, there are also a lot of similarities. As the artwork (hand-drawn by Credit 00 himself) illustrates, graffiti spreads all over buildings like wild vine grows on rocks: chaos reigns everywhere, whether in natural or man-made environments!

Nookies much anticipated, and much delayed second box set with Kniteforce is a collection of his greatest old skool material, including remasters and represses of his seminal work on Reinforced and Absolute Records. Tracks such as Shining In Da Darkness, Gonna Be Alright, Give A Little Love and Only You are celebrated classics in their own right. A handful of masterful remixes from Pete Cannon, Acen, Madcap and Blame, not to mention original remixes from Foul Play and Manix, make this a box set that is not only unmissable, but also one that is flying out, so get it now or it is soon to be missed.

How can anyone do a new remix of Q-Projects definitive old skool jungle classic "Champion Sound"? Well, almost nobody could without retreading the past or losing the thread...But Hyper-On Experience isn't "nobody". Hyper-On Experience takes the original and makes something truly special, keeping the dark and nasty vibe, but bringing it up to date in a way that is both authentic and classic. Flipped with RayKeith remixing The Trip - The Erb in his unmistakeable junglist style, this is two legendary classics on one slim piece of wax....

Infinite Pleasure presents another debut release, this time by Rotterdam based, new kid on the block, Pettson. Showcasing his versatile talent with a smashing 5 track EP named Satchidananda.

Skillfully blending intricate beats with profound melodies leaving no genre untouched. Breakbeat, Electro, Deep Dub, 2Step & Ambient it's all there, laced with a unique freshness.

The title is a nod to the renowned yogi, who believed that pleasure is our natural state of being and we couldn't agree more!

Following releases with YAM, Tiff’s Joints, Dr Banana and Touching Bass, artist Romaal Kultan (Ollie Malin) now inaugurates his own record label, Personal Discs.

No Time Like The Future showcases Romaal Kultan’s finest productions, charting a distinct personal trajectory between hiphop, house and broken beat. Opener One Moment Please is a sassy boom bap affair, with an unexpected nod towards jungle. Music Room, made in collaboration with producer Cypriano, is a patient, moody chugger — a tapestry of piano, organic percussion and crackly vinyl samples laced with acid.

On the B-side, Personal Effects delivers a unique, hypnotic broken beat groove, where swelling synths and a twinkling Rhodes meditate together in careful arrangement. Finally, the intimate title track No Time Like the Future stomps off into the sunrise, carried along by a rolling, yearning dreaminess.

Each one of these tracks represents a special, all-too-rare moment of ecstasy in the studio. I hope that this feeling lives on in the music.

So far the record has received support from Alexander Nut, Mr Scruff, Lefto, Kai Alcé, Bradley Zero, Mary Anne Hobbes, K15, Dr Banana, Alex Attias, EVM128, Zakia, Shy One, Tereza, Alia, Earl Jeffers, Footshooter, K-Lone, Poison Zcora, Dean Chew, Marcia Carr, Leanne Wright, Dead Man’s Chest and more.

Ever since the release of his first solo album more than 20 years ago, German musician and producer Christian Kleine has experimented with blending and contrasting the varying textures and approaches of post-rave IDM, breakbeats, shoegaze and punk. His latest album offering, Touch & Fuse, shows he's continued to refine and perfect that combination, which is less a conscious concoction and more of a natural outcome of the music he likes. From the edgy Aphex-isms of 'Val 2' and the heavily filtered breaks of 'Reverse Angle' to the slowed down grunge meets pure electronics of 'Return of the Underground', this is unique, accomplished stuff.

Launched in 2016, Lunar Orbiter Program continues to prove the ability of his pilot Torai who is just back from his second moon landing.

Martyn Releases New Album Voids, His First For Ostgut Ton Over The Past Year, Dutch-born, Washington D.c.-based Producer Martyn Has Undergone A Metamorphosis - One That Began With A Medical Emergency And Has Dovetailed Into Personal Musical Transformation. Having Narrowly Avoided Death After Suffering A Heart Attack, Martyn Reentered His Studio And Began A Process Of Reassessing The Elements That Drive Him To Make Music: Sampling, Unpredictability, Melancholy, Sci-fi, Polyrhythms, Texture, Ecstatic Moments, Detroit, Interlocking Percussion And Bass. However, The Initial Spark To Start Producing Again Came Through His Experience Listening To Max Roach's 1979 Ensemble Percussion Album M'boom. In His Own Words: that Was The First Record I Listened To In My Studio After Coming Out Of The Hospital. It's A Project Where He Works With A Slew Of Top-notch Percussionists And Drummers And Rotates Them For Every Composition. Playing This Record Was Such A Surreal Experience, The First Music I Consciously Listened To After My Recovery. I Could Hear So Much Space In The Music, Something I Had Never Noticed Before, Almost Like A 3d Experience, With The Most Striking Aspect Being The Emptiness Between The Players.' Over The Next 8 Months Martyn Would Go On To Write Voids, His First Lp For Ostgut Ton And In A Few Other Ways Markedly Different Than Previous Records, It Features No Guest Appearances Or Collaborations And At 9 Tracks, Is Musically Stripped Down To The Essentials. It's Also A Highly Personal Take On Forging New Paths Forward In Genres Where The Berghain/panorama Bar Resident Has Long Been Known For His Production Wizardry And Innovation: Post-dubstep And Uk Garage. Voids Is Roughly Split Between These Musical Foundations, Recontextualized With Elements Of Nyabinghi, Drum 'n' Bass, And Gqom To Form Snarling, Bass-driven Hybrids. The Direction Was Hinted At Last November On His Gl Outtakes - Reworks Of His Landmark 2009 Album Great Lengths. In Contrast However, Voids Is Also An Attempt To Work Through Personal Trauma And Loss, Including The Passing Of Close Friend And Fellow Producer Marcus Intalex Aka Trevino, To Whom The Track manchester' Is Dedicated. The Sound Of Voids Is Big And Unapologetically Rough Around The Edges. It Is Music As Therapy, Drawing On The Healing Elements Of Music Past, But Is Far From Retrospective. Indeed, Martyn Is No Stranger To Electronic Futurism, As His Numerous Solo Productions For Ostgut Ton, Dolly, Hyperdub, Brainfeeder, Ninja Tune, Warp And His Own 3024 Label (run Together With Visual Collaborator Jeroen Erosie) Have Shown. On Voids, However, These Futuristic Sonic Qualities Coalesce Into Something Darker, More Biographical And Untethered From Expectations. woken By The Spirits Of A New Life Dawning.' - The Spaceape

This album starts the journey of Unruly Records by featuring some of the early tracks and artists who helped shape the sound of "Club Music".

These songs were originally released between 1991 & 1995 and took dance-floors in Baltimore by storm. There is also a full color insert which paints a picture of that moment in time. In support of Baltimore City's Inaugural "Baltimore Club Music Day" on June 17th, we put together this anthology to kick off our "Anthology" collection/series which will initially start with 3 installments.

Be on the lookout for "Anthology 1996 double album next year!

Mr. Ho shows again why he is a favorite producer for so many! A double album full of bleepy breakbeat tunes and robotic electro, all with a strong focus on the dancefloor. His debut album 'Michaelsoft' is a perfect and sophisticated summation of the talented producers skill at making sonically slick groove-led music, ranging wide in genres and moods. The album is a journey of sorts, kicking off with the dreamy breaks of '000Baby' and the slightly broken beats of the spine-tingling 'Ngomee' before venturing into hectic and threatening electro with 'Quit Startin' and ghetto-funk stylings of '14me'. After listening to 'Michaelsoft' the listener is reminded once again of the subject of time, specifically the time the producer has spent silently honing and calmly perfecting his craft whilst the rest of the world seems to descend into chaos. Recommended!

Following a groundbreaking cassette-only release on electro label du jour Casa Voyager, Montreal-based producer Simial releases his first full vinyl EP on Gated. This is raw braindance unlike anything else from an exciting new talent you’ll be hearing more from in the future. Over six tracks, Simial takes us into unexplored and highly personal territory, with music that drops and kicks, stutters and starts in unexpected and melodic ways. Watch out for the little surprise vocal hidden in B3.

2023 Repress in Classic Soul:r House Sleeve

Since the early days of electronic music, white label records have been inextricably linked to DJ culture and the ways in which underground music has been disseminated. unknown - untitled draws on the white label concept withholding details about the producers behind the tracks and leaving listeners to draw their own conclusions about what they’re hearing.

The concept label focuses primarily on vinyl releases, with previews of the tracks available online, but information about the artists only to be found within the record sleeve itself. The roster ranges from new and emerging producers to more established artists looking to explore new sounds.

Picking up where they left off, the fourth release on the label is a powerhouse of mind melting, UK-flavoured, twisted techno-not-techno and breaks. Intricate rhythms, chest rumbling sub bass and deft samples destined for a heavyweight club system. With online personas often eclipsing the focus on music itself, here lies a return to form.
