For the fourth release we've asked two talents for a side each. On the A-side we have the Parisian Col. J with two uptempo and soulful workouts. Classic drums, classic acid lines, but fresh as ever. Elisabeta. Just hearing her name puts a grin on her face.

Originally released on Polychrome Sounds, "Elisabeta, the remixes" features a remaster of the original by Karpov not Kasparov and three truly unique and magnificent remixes.

The first one is Carrot Green, who gave the original the Brazilian Ritmo-treatment, with extra acid on top for a spicy touch. On the second remix, Belgian mastermind Strapontin created a smooth grooving tension-builder, slow rolling to a deep and beautiful introverted climax. Lastly, Pletnev took the atmosphere of the original and gave it a trippy ethnic-break beat twist, as only the Vilnius producer can do so well.

Contemporary house merged with space-age jazz & broken beat from Copenhagen newcomer Nejrup on debut release MANDA backed by a uniquely off-kilter remix from London soul stalwart K15 (Eglo / Wild Oats)

MANDA is a selection of intricate compositions for the dancefloor with a jazz centered approach to combining dance grooves with modular soundscapes & live instrumentation.

For Nejrup, a self-learned synthhacker, pianist and producer from Copenhagen, his debut MANDA is a result of years of experimentation and never-ending practice and noodling on his Fender Rhodes & homebuilt synth collection. Delivering a compositional complexity influenced by Radiohead and Floating Points, while letting his tunes simmer with airy synths and improvised live instrumentation combined with a love for depthful harmonies.

K15 backs the release with a soothing, heavily syncopated remix, as only he could do it. The Londoner, whose soulful touch and ear for melody has earned him high status in the jazz encompassing house- and broken beat circuit, through Kyle Hall's 'Wild Oats' and Alexander Nut's 'Eglo Records' and as center of the Culross Close outfit.

This edition features four, yes FOUR new members to our family, ON side A we welcome fresh new talent in the guis of Daif , real name Antonin Hifda, hails from France and is the head honcho at the great Luminaere Records, Dj's all over and has had releases on many labels,an amazing talent who we look forward to working with more. Ascot/WW, real name Matteo Pasini , comes from Milan Italy, and has played clubs such as Plastic,Rocket and the Dude Club. He has had releases on Ciao Records, and definitely a great addition to the Tone dropout family, and of course our main man Dawl , who needs no introduction,contributes to make up the TDO side.

Then side B , we welcome Alphonse and Jamie Blanco from LHT as well as many other fine labels. Alphonse, whose real name i am not allowed to tell you, has had releases aon several labels including hypercolour and class wrecks and dj's all over the world, currently been doing some gigs with sween - head honcho of Tone DropOut Records, at Houghton festival and in Croatia in 2019 and host parties called Dream Therapy, in London. Another great addition to our family. Then we have Jamie Blanco another real talent, who has been on the scene a long time with multiple releases and several guises with other labels and partners. Living in Melbourne, Australia at present, which shows how our sound has stretched across the world .

Track 1 - DAWL - Nebulon - Dawl kicks off this E.P with a Bleep tactic , bass driven break beat banger. typical dawl style now, that we all love and has made him such a star, at Tone Dropout Records.After the bleeps dawl adds some stabby warehouse synths , then kicks the driving bass back in with the breaks and bleeps, and a cheeky little sample from some obscure cartoon. not to be named ha ha . A real banger , in dawl tradition.

Track 2 - Daif - Soberman - then goes our first top gun, Daif comes at ya with a mesmerising bass line that sets the tone for this dance floor filler. Then come the bleeps and the strings in and out , highlighted by a soaring break beat ,and fat basslines . this man is hot talent , watch out .

Track 3 - Ascot/WW - Fifa98 - Here we go top gun number two, our new secret weapon Ascot/WW, offers ya a breakbeat and old rave synth , before breaking down with a rewind into a detroit bassline and haunting strings and bleeps, a real journey, and very cleverly produced another dance floor filler, and a man to watch out for.

Track 1 - Alphonse - Direct Transient - Alphonse kicks off with the sounds of the rain forsest , quickly backed up by a soaring james brown sampled break beat a real stomper, and some sweet strings, before banging into an amazing acid line with james brown stab rolling through.Ever changing ,with a great breakdown, really showing off his production skills.

A real rolla, with amazing beats and an acid line to kill for ha ha . Great work from this established talent.

Track 2 - Jamie Blanco - Acid Damage - Here the one and only Jamie Blanco gives us a straight up no messing in ya face acid banger. What more can i say, wicked 909 beats , big bass line and of course the acid going in and out up and down, ever changing and moving ,handclaps the lot, soaring high hats and snares , here we go .ACIEEEEEEEEED.

Track 3 - Bonus Tones Breaks 3 - Tones Breaks 3 carries on our new tradition of a little 3 min track on each ep, lots of samples and fun.

Tones 3 , kicks off with lots of scratching and a fierce break beat , and 'GO' sample , before changing with a bubbling bassline, and ripping break beat , then the inevitable bleeps and four four over breaks , this 3 mins of pure break beat chaos, just how we love it .

This 2nd release from this recently formed international collective of producers, musicians and DJs from the US, UK and EU continue with their edgy, jazzy but lo-fi sound that featured on Vol. 1 which had plays from Gilles Peterson, Francois K and Fouk. Vol. 2 includes 'Knocking On The Door Of The Cosmos' which seeks inspiration from high priest Sun Ra, with its rich synth parts and Rhodes electric piano. DJ friendly 'Payback' includes numerous short sample edits and vocal chops, while 'Son of Equinox' is a musician heavy jazz-funk cut with layers of trumpet, live bass and drums being reminiscent of Louie Vegas' Elements of Life work. 'Theme For Chicago' offers the Windy City a Roy Ayers-inspired bouncy head nod tribute containing just the right amount of dirt which is as inspired by Detroit as it is Chicago. And finally there's an added 'Bonus Beats' like it's 1983.

This 180 grams vinyl only comes with 3 original tracks from Faktorm and includes a remix of the talented artist Youandewan, who brings his magic and soul to the family in this EP.

Bohemian Materialism EP is the first release of our freshly revamped Kommuna imprint. The A-side features a UK garage infused 2-stepper from the up and coming producer Crump, while label owner CMYK explores the more melodic side of the breakbeat sound. The collaboration between Kommuna's co-founder Pekkuliar and Driahn produces the goods for the B-side with a ghetto/reggae take on the 2-step sound while the EP concludes nicely with a feel-good remix from Imprints mastermind Domenico Rosa.

Track by track, we are building a Kommuna of both well-established artists and unknown studio dwellers, who share our obsession for music discovery without following any particular genre limitations.

“Introducing COSMIC RESIDENTS v. 1, the first in an ongoing compilation series from Cosmic Resonance Records. This series will showcase emerging talent from Toronto’s underground creative electronic music scene.

This first edition features local favourites and Cosmic Resonance residents Radiant Aura Faculty (aka Raf Reza), KOREA TOWN ACID and Hemingway along with (and making their vinyl and Cosmic Resonance debut) Body Butter, WeTurnToRed and Smoke & Shadows.

On the A-side, Hemingway kicks things off with Astralnauts, a deep, dubbed out boogie breakbeat burner dedicated to explorers of the astral plane featuring fellow label don Chris Evans on rhythm guitar. Radiant Aura Faculty (aka Raf Reza) takes us even deeper with the mystical 'Cid Pit Riddim', a slamming 707 acid bender sure to melt any dance floor. Things get slippery with Body Butter’s debut single ‘Lights In The Hallway’, a timeless operatic pop opus featuring Neil Rankin (aka Burt Sugar), Chris Evans (aka Mr. Bliss) and Hemingway behind the board.

On the flip side, things heat up with Shamanta Chandran’s project WeTurnToRed (recently releasing their debut EP on ORO Records), featuring the progressive modular techno odyssey 'Warm Winter', an escape from Toronto’s long and tumultuous blizzards. Emerging from the Mahogani Forest, Korea Town Acid reinterprets Hemingway’s emotional ode to the jazz aesthetic 'Blue Notes' with her trademark cerebral rhythms and a masterful bassline that elevates the original to new heights. Closing it off, we have an amazing collaboration between Curtis Clark (aka Smoke of Lab.our Music) & Em Zy (member of Nikki Fierce) called Smoke & Shadows with their stellar debut single Convincing Thoughts that features Em Zy’s hazy vocal emanations amidst a backdrop of mystical reverberations and a dark, powerful groove.”

Another sure-shot legit reissue from the Easy Streets vaults. Unbelievably from 1990, this forward thinking slab of dark and moody breakbeat techno courtesy of Open Mind (aka Joey Beltram) hits the spot everytime! Harking back to the glory days of euro-techno, pre-jungle, the dark-side and all in-between.... Need we say more? The eerie atmospheres, epic synth breaks and stuttering drum machine programming combines to create the super heavy sound that early Beltram is known for and 'The Trance' is one record that any serious techno or electro lover will need in their bag. Rare as hen's teeth, hard to cop and a total under the radar classic, 'The Trance' is here again, and it's not taking any prisoners!

As we said before, this monster dropped on Easy Street in '90, and has been caned by the most discerning of DJ's and diggers across the galaxy ever since. Every home should have a copy of this, no collection is complete without it. A record that will never go out of style & will always do the requisite damage on any dance-floor it's dropped on. Mysterious talent Clouds Of Kouros returns to their self-titled imprint to deliver the second EP on the
label this March, with three fresh cuts making up their 'Houghton Time' EP.

The enigmatic Clouds Of Kouros guise first surfaced in November of 2018, with the debut 'Reason's Why' EP picking up a slew of support from Secretsundaze through to Laurent Garnier and more.

Heavily influenced by the early UK rave scene, the project looks set to highlight key early inspirations from within the electronic sphere whilst keeping the focus solely on the music and not the artist behind the project across with each release on the imprint. The latest installment, the 'Houghton Time' EP, was written out of frustration after missing last year's edition of the festival through a last-minute transportation cancellation and in-turn returning to the studio to channel this frustration into a handful new productions. The result is an impressive fresh three tracker that takes cues from breaks through to deep house and beyond set for release on vinyl only this March.

Title cut 'Houghton Time' opens the package with authority as slick breakbeat arrangements combine with menacing basslines and infectious vocal hooks, before 'Diego's Groove' takes things deeper as dubby chords and bright melodies work in tandem. Last up, 'Hide2' completes the EP in style as the focus shifted towards punchy drum licks, resonant stabs and eerie melodies throughout.

Ibiza Records label was established back in 1989 and was one of the main contributors to the UK underground music scene. Those behind the label were the innovators of Hardcore Jungle, Jungle Techno and Jungle genres in the 90s stemming from Warehouses to clubs and now festivals. Ibiza Records Label returns today with some new releases and a back catalogue of gems for the real Junglists out there.

Jaka Forma completes the Seltron 400 trilogy on Warsaw's MOST. The quirky sounds of their previous two releases - Zabawa Trwa and Trans i Bas - have garnered support from music lovers and heavyweight selectors alike (with Helena Hauff, Veronica Vasicka and Marco Passarani among them).

The duo continue to weave their sonic story upping the tempo on the breakbeat-driven roller Kiepska Forma. The track comes with a more contained techno mix as well, entitled Forma Swietna. The b-side carries Jakze Srogo - a firm crowd favorite from the Seltron live show, and a nod of sorts to the sound and times of electroclash, even though we won't argue that the tune is anything but pure Seltron 400.

Wislov might be a new signee to Knitebreed, but he has been releasing material for years, and the Spanish (not Russian) maestro is already known around the world for his awesome breakbeat creations. It was only a matter of time before a label snapped him up, and he is a producer easily capable of dropping huge tunes in both dark and lighter stsyles. Redstone Press co-founder Pseudopolis returns to the label for his second 12" with a harder edged and faster paced flirtation between UK Techno, electro and breaks.

The A-side dives straight into kaleidoscopic hypnosis with an intense drum workout on 'Yaris Crew' & the haunted synth lines and tripped out dub stabs of 'Pressure'. Following on from the last DEXT Limited release by Otik & Dead Mans Chest we're kicking off 2019 in fine style with another limited 10' Vinyl cut with the same ethos as the previous release's , 1 rave banger with a killer remix on the flipside. This time we have invited Glasgow's party starter and long-time label supporter Nightwave to join the crew and it seems like she has been here all along.

Psychic Tonic is exactly what we are all about rolling breakbeats and thunderous kick drums and is the perfect addition to the DEXT LTD series. Following on from the positive feedback for KRL's 'Third' EP (Quintessentials 62), we had to give the standout track 'Never Leave' the remix treatment. 'Never Leave' is a straight up house track with those beats and rhythmic synths, but with the outstanding vocals of Janine Small it makes it a head turner! The A-side remix, courtesy of Greymatter (Wolf Music, Unique Uncut) keeps the overall vibe of the original, but adds more dirt and bass business ready for club action. The B-side remix courtesy of Quintessentials buddy Loz Goddard (Church, Razor-n-Tape) takes a step into deep broken beat territory while keeping the beautiful vocals. We love both remixes, job's done!

Soul Clap launch their new club music imprint with the duo's first EP of 2019. Two party tested instrumentals filled with that signature electronic funk ready to work any freaky dancefloor.

A very special 4-track limited EP from Marked Vinyl, we begin with 'Foundation', a subtle, deep, hypnotic groover with enough sub-movement you know it works as soon as it starts. Next up is 'Greenfield Funk', a late-night trip where varied synths and melodic keys decorate an unassuming unmissable bassline. The third track here is 'Gaiahuasca', where pumping synths break into an all-encompassing acid bassline, as the shamans of the Amazon don the caps and sneakers of the City. We could do some name-dropping similes about Drexciyan re vessels or talk about robots in love and what not. Or we cut right to the chase: six sublime Electro/Breaks tracks about oxygen.

'Following last year's release on NAFF, ANF hit the West Coast with four tracks of lush, trance-inducing digital bubblebaths on Pacific Rhythm. You might know this Montreal duo already: After lingering around under a different name, Dust-e-1 burst onto the scene last year with two 12-inches of blazing junglist workouts, while Priori has established himself as a keen collaborator, partnering with the likes of Project Pablo, RAMZi and Ex-Terrestrial. Their work together as ANF is some of their most distinctive, and on Mauna Kea the two producers explore the outer reaches of their sound, going on an expedition through pulsating acid lines, blood-rushing breakbeats and cosmic synths, with melodies that linger long after they're gone.

The title track is a sleek and slippery acid-flecked cut charged with hints of progressive house, while "State Function" looks back to the Sputnik missions of early '90s Biosphere, with floating breakbeats and space shuttle chatter. It's time for LET Recordings founder JP Enfant to make a mark on his own label again, and he does so across four fantastic tracks of absorbing and moving techno. As a resident at De School Amsterdam he is a pivotal part of the scene and this is his fourth EP on the label since its inception in 2015. His sound is rooted in techno but always comes detailed with elements of breakbeat, ambient, house and dub. This is another EP of innovative music for the body and mind in equal measure.

Hailing from Saint-Petersburg — the rave capital of Russia as they referred to in the 90's — Maruwa is an upcoming DJ and producer that fuses many of her musical influences.

Being a classically trained pianist and a child of the 90's / 00's, Maruwa's productions link emotional impressionism and IDM atmospherics with tropes of breakbeat hardcore and rawness of dancefloor oriented house.
