Volume 3 includes an incredible array of artists and producers including: DJ Hybrid, Marcus Visionary, Reggae Legend Horace Andy, Truespirit and Camp Souljah. Guaranteed to move fast, this 12” is very limited and contains 4 tracks that have been tried and tested on radio and in the clubs. Wire Parasitism EP is inspired by the electronic music which was produced during the end of the 80's and beginning of the 90s by the likes of Richard H. Kirk, Psychic TV, Coil, Dave Campbell or Lagowski (to name a few). Walid El Barbir uses his unique producing & sampling skills to create contemporary and industrial sounding compositions out of found footage like occult documentaries, rave stabs or Emax sound-libraries. Walid El Barbir is a part of the collective Les Points based in Zürich, Switzerland. His art/music draws from 90's rave utopias, occultism, progressive & accessible frameworks as showcased at their offspace Mikro - a physical room which has no doors and opening times during exhibitions and raves - making an institution available to all social layers.

This 3 track EP comes out from Limited E's vault called Retro Vol 2. Each of these tracks represents the early emergence of Jungle musik from the early 90s. E.Lets Go - This track made in 1992 by Potential Badboy was groundbreaking as it had soul elements n soulful house vocal which was unheard of back then. This track pushed the boundaries in the scene as soul n jungle beats inter-mingled.When it was played by Micky Finn in Ministry of Sound nightclub it was repeatedly jack up on that night.
EE.Part 1 - This track made in 1992 by Potential Badboy called Part 1 has a continued flavour of the original 'Lets Go' with the soul vocals. Pushing the musik further as the scene started to change and basslines became more dominant.EEE.Part 2 - This track made in 1992 by Potential Badboy called Part 2 is a re-mix of Part 1 and continues the flavour of the soulful vibez . With more hardcore n jungle breaks dominating along with heavier basslines this is jungle at its fineness.

Killer Smile return with four fresh mutations of the "Catchy Schisms EP" by Skeleton Army (John Morrow), including a drum and bass mix of the Foul Play influenced "Touch" reworked by Dutch jungle Don Coco Bryce.

Coco's version of "Touch" builds on John's legendary work in the 90s drum and bass scene as a member of Foul Play. The gentle piano keys and soft vocal samples shine over a backdrop of tight amen chops and uplifting Reese bass fit for any early morning rave epiphany.

Etch delivers a heavyweight slice of breakbeat science with his take on "Catchy Schisms", mixing up the tempos, dismantling then reconstructing drums and adding plummeting deep bass in a dark sci-fi voyage.

Lowering the tempo Army Of Ghosts craft their own unique version of "Bedlam Jennie" with their twisted techno mix, using multiple layers of abstract samples, thuggish four-fours and swirling FX designed to disorientate and surprise.

The final track on the EP is a breakbeat driven mix of "Bedlam Jennie", revisited by Skeleton Army himself. Maintaining the themes of the original EP, this version is melodic yet firmly rooted in leftfield territory, a fresh excursion into an abstract vision of house music.

Ibiza Records label was established back in 1989 and was one of the main contributors to the UK underground music scene. Those behind the label we're the innovators of Hardcore Jungle, Jungle Techno and Jungle genres in the 90s stemming from Warehouses to clubs and now festivals. Ibiza Records Label returned in 2017 with some new releases and a back catalogue of gems for the real Junglists out there.

* Abyss is a new artist for Kniteforce, and he brings a distinctly different flavor to the label. Having had a few tracks featured on anthologies within the label such as the Death To Digital EPs and the Vinyl is Better albums, he now brings forth his first full EP. The Timespan returns after a 12 month rest, teaming up with both a new artist – Mr Arthur – and a new label. Or perhaps it is an old label as The Timespan was one of the original Remix Records artists back in the early 90’s. Yet the style remains, even if some of the tracks are in the 140bpm range. Deceptively simple sounding piano anthems and rave riffs, with sly hip hop loops and rolling beats. All three tracks on this EP are made entirely with hardware, yet the sound is crystal clear and the bass rolls with weight. A perfect combination of old skool and old skool.

Through These Eyes is very proud to announce a 12" from Moscow's very own Dub/Jungle production trio Champion Sound. Neekeetone, Distant Roots and General Koondoongoo made some respectable tunes on their own, but once they combined their powers as Champion Sound, the levels were raised higher. And although dubby jungle rhythms might not be the first thing that comes to mind when you think of Moscow, this is the style these three producers from the Russian Federation have mastered in the last few years. Playing together in a reggae band and having a strong love for all things dub definitely helped a lot, too...

No wonder their tunes already got support from Moresounds, J:Kenzo, Sun People, Mister Shifter or Mystic Pulse and got played heavily on Rinse FM.
Apparently as the title suggests, "Vershun Excurshun" leans heavily in the roots of jungle and dub. The rumbling subbass and heavy hitting breaks fit perfectly to the sampled MC shouts that will guarantee to stimulate every soundsystem in a proper style!
"Through The Roots" is the perfect B-side, who takes things to a little darker, more subtle world. But once you let yourself drown in the trancey lead melody and the depth of the rhythms, you will be immersed in a cosmos of bass. Этими глазами!

Originally released on White House Records. Remastered from digital masters by Robert Macciochi with full restored cover done by myself. This EP should need no introduction to Ravers as often cited as an Anthem (whatever that means to you, to me that just means classic and good and still worth hearing any day again and again)."Baptised By Dub" was originally on World Beat Records with "Virtual Reality" on the flip side and later licensed to White House Records with other tracks and the totally different but equally awesome Re Baptised By Dub by DJ Halo. This Ravers favourite has never been reissued on vinyl in its original 4 track form. it did make it to a White House Classics series but only Baptised By Dub and not the greatest quality.According to DJ Spatts the DAT's were misplaced in the 90's and only unearthed again in 2014 when I searched the Warehouse. All CD licensed versions on compilations are allegedly a vinyl rip supplied by White House. These official DIGITAL remasters were issued to TCM Records as digital only. This is your first chance to get your hands on what will definitely be the best vinyl reproduction of this music since it's original release in 1992.

Cambridge-based beat-scientist Filter Dread presents the third release on the Tech Startup catalog, TS000003. Inspired by laboratories across the street from his studio, the four tracks take motifs from the genres of jungle, hardcore, and grime, and teleport them to alien dimensions.

The record kicks off with Rainforest, a track which mutates grime hammer kicks and classic jungle drum-rolls. The following track, Blizzard, flows like metallic ooze with its cold, cybernetic percussion and liquified pads. Tripping Up dishes a devastating jungle-tekno sequence with crushing snares and a sinister bassline. RX-4 Real brings the release to a close, bubbling and percolating with its reverb-soaked stabs and glitched out beats.
