* D&B's rapidly rising Liz-E returns to SGN for her second outing, following hot on the success of her debut on the label last year. Signing out of 2014 in style, are two tracks of beautifully crafted drum & bass.
With a nod to the old school, 'Need You' brings classic vocal samples hinged around amen breaks and pitch-shifting snares, all riding over an enormous sub tone bassline designed for big room raves the world over. A hands in the air, SGN party piece that does the damage, guaranteed.
'On My Mind' opts to soothe the soul, underpinned by a smooth rolling break, warm ethereal pads and gentle vox, all combining for a hazy summer slice of liquid gold. No doubt there's much more to come from Liz-E in 2014.

Nice to hear some jungle ragga with General Levy, UK Flavor, big tingz !

Hidden Turn's 'Big Dirty EP' on Doc Scott's ThirtyOne Recordings Four tunes, something a little different, kinda dnb, kinda not. The

More fresh out the oven Jungle cakes!

This latest release on Jungle Cakes comes courtesy of Canada's, House of David Gang. Proper chilled out, but incredibly funky
reggae vibes on this jam, as the name suggests. Serious bass shakes your sub out of its box, and your windows out of their frame. All
the classic elements melt into one big pile of funk. Rhythm guitar, ragga stabs and vocals provide the laid back groove and are
spurred along by sensational guitar licks.
Ed Solo and Stickybuds turn up the heat, and the tempo with their remix. Keeping somewhat true to the original with many of the
original stems in play, they add some super tight drums, some heavy bassline wizardry and smash out an absolute gem that is
impossible not to groove to. When we say groove, we mean dance uncontrollably with arms flailing and a big grin from ear to ear!

The Dispatch Limited offshoot continues to mature, showcasing new talent and keeping the music fresh and diverse. We are pleased
to present the very first artist album for the label, coming from Ukrainian export NICKBEE.
Formed of 11 exclusive tracks, 'Empty Your Mind' is an all-encompassing album in every sense of the word. NickBee sets off an
emotional journey into the senses, seeking to remove all the expectations and format limitations that have constrained Drum & Bass
Artist albums of the past.
With absolute freedom from genre restrictions, the soundscapes and atmospherics are left open to exploration. Spectacular
harmonies are built on top of shifting tempos and styles, which constantly develop and evolve as we progress through the album.
NickBee brings us a brilliantly crafted novel with every track representing an aptly named chapter and each one marks another
milestone of creative thought.
Entering into largely unchartered water for us here at Dispatch, the album features more alternative styles than we have ever pushed
before. By ensuring the quality stays paramount, this still connects strongly to our core values.
'Into Your Mind', a majestic classical piece, opens the album in fine style. Taking things in a more soulful direction 'Black & White'
and 'Kloe' bring house and garage inspirations to the album, applying a pure and subtle, yet still distinctive sound to deeper vibes.
NickBee utilises the total artistic freedom given to him to demonstrate an outstanding grasp of electronic music, reaching every corner of the spectrum as he brings us his own take on music today. Leading into 'I Say You', the immaculate musicality carries right through the album. 'White Night' sparks emotive sentiments soon after and NickBee builds up the momentum to unleash some spectacular tech forays, 'X-Ray' and the assault of title track 'Empty Your Mind', carried out with unfaltering production levels in true signature style.
With previews of some of the album's Drum & Bass tracks exclusively featured on Friction's BBC Radio 1 show, we are pleased to invite you to relax, digest and 'Empty Your Mind' to a long player of the very highest quality.
