Quest is one of Dubstep's forerunners signed to DEEP MEDi Musik and one of Antisocial Entertainment originals alongside Silkie, Heny G, Kromestar, Harry Craze, Jay 5 and Mizz Beats. Quest is never one to shout and make a fuss, always quiet and thoughtful but whilst all around are loosing their heads in the madness Quest has directed all his energy in to his production and is always far more at ease at letting his music do the talking. Quest's 4th release on DEEP MEDi 'Smooth Skin' showcases his progression, diversity and forward thinking as a producer. With it's lush and dreamy opening chords, thumping bass kick, layered percussion and hypnotic vibes, you would be forgiven in forgetting about the B-line until it's speaker shifting impact almost halfway through the track! Quest showing with 'Smooth Skin' that he takes as much inspiration from Detroit legends such as Moodymann and Theo Parrish as he does from label owner Mala (DMZ) and his very own Antisocial Entertainment Crew. 'Wind Tunnel' however on the flip sees Quest bouncing back to his Gangsta Boogie vibes for which he is so well known. Heavyweight, frenetic breakneck percussion, insane wall of bass, hard soulful and jazzy influences taking you on a mystical journey into outer space! Dj Support: Mala (DMZ), Silkie (DEEP MEDi), Kode9 (Hyperdub), Antisocial Crew and others.
Radio Support: Gilles Peterson (Radio 1), Mary Anne Hobb's (Radio 1), DJ Chef (Rinse), Benji B (1 Xtra), Antisocial (Rinse).

Just announced VINYL release of her stunning debut.
Hers is the most anticipated debut album of 2010 and her name is on everybody's lips. Seldom before has a young artist so captivated the attention of a generation that she personifies. 'The ultimate it girl', 'the new electro pop sensation', 'totally in tune with the spirit of the times': these are just a few quotes from her reviewers. The delayed Sex Dreams and Denim Jeans is finally complete. Uffie took her time, for after years of continuous whirlwind she needed to take a step back, put her bags down and concentrate on her writing. After years of partying and having fun, she says she wanted to show a different, darker side of herself. And although her ego trips and her club hitting tracks are still there, perfectly tailored and inextricably linked to her universe, her more introspective ones are the most striking. Her new single 'ADD SUV', recorded with Pharrell Williams, demonstrates exactly that. Uffie and the famous rapper poke fun at the American culture and its obsession for ostentatious signs of wealth. Denouncing the vacuous lives of rich suburban 'desperate housewives' who drive oversized SUVs, pop pills like sweets, sip cocktails in their private clubs and accumulate neuroses like a collection of handbags, they made an acrid and descriptive track that is the stuff of classics. Sex Dreams and Denim Jeans is full of classic tracks. The essential and always powerful productions come from her eternal accomplice DJ Feadz, and other talented old friends such as Mr Oizo, SebastiAn (Ed Banger Records) and Mirwais. She says he was the one who pushed her to have confidence in herself and challenge herself.

On this new limited 7inch vinyl and digital release Equinox Records introduces Andreikelos from Greece to the label's artist roster. Mediterranean sound meets electro as the traditional Greek organ bouzouki smoothly flows over an abstract hip-hop beat alongside violins and synths, all blended with an MPC 2500 accompanied by two Technics 1200s.

'Not all of my beats have a mediterranean character but since this is to be my first official international release I wanted it to sound like home'. (Andreikelos)

The philosophy of '(Call For) The Last Stand' is all about unity even when there is no hope spotted nearby. Though fighting for your rights and beliefs until the last breath can lead to what the ancient Spartans called 'The ultimate glory', you never know how the final battle will end and who will be the last man standing.

Leaving these Greek affairs behind, Earthkeptwarm (who already provided us his great remix of 2econd Class Citizen's 'Step Inside') adds some UK flavour to the tune. The wobbling bass of his striking dubstep remix is giving the track a completely new feel and makes this release a useful tool for djs as well.

Chronos Records....What can we say~! They've just rounded up the filthiest up and coming producers and have left everyone listening's jaw drop like a fat tune on the dance floor! Their ever expanding of artist roster is growing into a bit of an army! From what we've heard from the two lads who are running it, they are confirming some amazing producers from all around the world!

Just when you thought it was safe to sink in to your Smokin Sessions new comfort zone, we would like to present another new talent that goes by the name of DJ Rum. His music is deep and jazzy influenced with a sprinkle of Techno added to the mix to give this bright young spark an absolute unique and fresh flavor that we have been very inspired by.
It is rare to get a track at 8 minutes and you don't want to flick through, but DJ Rum has really managed to keep it interesting throughout the journey of this track."Emerald" is also just as interesting to hear with a darker edge.

Here come two dancefloor dubstep bombs to prove that Sludge is no slouch when it comes to signing fresh talent!

Fierce lulls you into a false sense of security with lush strings and deep synths before dropping into full-on wobble-rave mayhem. This one has everything: the moody movie sample, cheeky old skool acid house piano and enough bassy badness to have the faint-of-heart crawling back to momma with their tails between their legs.

On the flip, Pornstep, featuring the Highbury Whores, is a skanking dubwise roller that plays host to the filthiest oral workout since Linda Lovelace got down and dirty in Deep Throat. If you've ever wondered what it would be like to get it on with a particularly dirty slut inside an actual bassbin speaker, here's your chance to find out!

Elite Force's 'Revamped' album was released last week & has enjoyed a phenomenal response. During the course of it's first week of release, it has achieved a feat unprecedented in any genre in reaching for the stars to claim 14 spots in the Top 50 (from all genres), thereby giving Elite Force a 38% share of the best selling Electronic Music globally. In addition to this, tracks from 'Revamped' occupied the entire front page on the breaks charts (#1-#12) whilst taking 5th & 7th places in the Electro House charts. In short, this has been something of a revolution.
