Truth. First up 'Burglar' a tech-stepping original production bedded with sharp snapping drums & snares that bite straight through the
rave atmospherics. Bass wise this piece of kit is extreme to say the least, signature bulbous sub action. 'Dead Silence' comes from a
charged half step angle with complex percussion. The track features a glossy synth line. At it's core it evolves to unleash deadly licks
of bass at opportune moments. Both cuts are a prime pick for the steppers. Getting huge support from Mala, Skream, N-type, Hatcha
and Joe Nice.

Brand new bizness from US label Argon Records which see's them on a heavy ragga-tip this time with a new release and collaboration from Kion & Murda who have been responsible for some deadly white-label bootlegs lately. 'Dub Cinderella' is partyragga- step at it's finest with vocals courtesy of Errol Dunkley, on the flip 'Taliban Walk' is a sinister steppa with a distinct eastern vibe, possibly featuring Osama himself on a production tip..

Very Very Very limited Vinyl pressing. Kouro's soulful 'Tears' featuring the vocal talents of MC DRS has been remixed by the genius Calibre. He has totally flipped the script with the remix and has stamped his own unique style on it, such a beautifully produced House mix great vocals, just an all round awesome tune. On the Flip side Chimpo brings his unique dubstep twist whilst still retaining the soul of the vocal. Big 12" look out for the 'Grown Mans Biznizz' CD. "After the well received 'Countryman' & 'Stasis (G-Mix)' 12~ for Blackdown's 'Keysound' imprint Kowton returns with his first release of 2010; this time for the Bristol based label 'Idle Hands'. Set up last year from the back room of the Rooted Records, the label aims to showcase the best in raw, grooving and experimental electronic music with a particular focus on the UK underground. Having picked up lots of interest Online Kowton is ready to make his mark in 2010, following features in RA, Fact Magazine and Blackdown's own blog. The two tracks selected for the release: 'Basic Music Knowlege' & 'Hunger' operate in the musical middle ground between the darkly swung garage of El-B and the dubstep pioneers, and the submerged techno sound of STL and New World Aquarium. DJ and radio support has so far come from Appleblim, Mary Anne Hobbs, 2562 and Kevin Gorman, amongst others.

Sunshine first appeared on Dubplate 2 years ago an instantly became an anthem. It was signed to Boka, but as the label came under new management Demon decided to take the tune elsewhere and it featured as an mp3 on Getdarkers massive 'This is Dubstep' compilation, but needed to hit vinyl so here it is. On the flip is a cheeky bootleg featuring R.Kelly's 'Bump'N'Grind' and a huge dirty drop. This Cambridge pair have definately delivered the goods. With support from the likes of Mistajam on 1xtra and smashing up clubs everywhere this is sure to be another banger.

Astrofonik records are a French underground label and Silent Frequencies usually produce hardcore tunes, but here they bring us their first Dubstep tune Progressive and slammin' with bright snares... Nicely done with a cool techy flow !

Hailing from Dutty Dover, this lot bring a 12" of massive proportions. 'Lomongo Doltroy' is a gruling twisting metallic lead that is held up by tough solid breaks, and eiry atmosphere accompanied by a deep scuzzy bassline. Suspect tempts the darkside in with 'Limb By Limb'. A deep and sinister roller, with squlechy sub bass that reacts to a murky sci-fi atmosphere. Switchdubs rounds up the 12" with 'Who Are Those Guys'. A snarling reece that sits on a halfstep rhythm, switching to a stomping 4x4 beat and then back to the halfstep.

Hounds of Hate are a London-based trio whose music is a potent brew of acid house bass lines fused with half-speed screwed & chopped drums, resulting in what has been dubbed "soft-core screw house". Hounds of Hate do not adhere to digital production methods but embrace limitations of old equipment, arriving at a unique lo-fi sound. They often mix around with Hype Williams and the Bo Khat Family band, spawning mixtapes, aborted radio talk shows and befuddled audiences. Live, they've played with Pens, Graffitti island, Hype williams, Plugs, Maria and the Mirrors and have upcoming shows with Caribou, Gold Panda and Alexander Tucker
