SOME OF THE HEAVIEST PRODUCERS AROUND AT THE MOMENT ALL ON ONE DISC, THIS IS SURE TO BE ONE BOUND FOR THE MUTIPLE RESTOCK!!! 50 1 HAS DONE VERY WELL WITH LOTS OF BIG SELLING RELEASES RECENTLY AND 16BIT HAVE RECENTLY SIGNED TO CHASE * STATUS LABEL WHILE MATTA HAS BEEN ACRVING A SPACE ALL HIS OWN WITH SOME TIDY REMIXES AND ORIGINAL WORKS OUT RECENTLY

With her second release on the label, Ca.tter continues to develop her very own version of Detroit-influenced bass-music. Double Helix (LHF), who has just been signed to Blackdown's Keysound-label, contributs a remix of 4th Motion, setting Ca.tter's Neo-Detroit in the context of mid-90s-Jungle.

Since the very earlist dubstep productions, Cyrus and his production team Random Trio have always created a stir when their releases have appeared on the horizon. This one is no different, full up with his unique and trademark sound. The deep, blissful dubstep vibes that twist and distort their carefully selected and almost soothing melodies and beats weave in with a bassline that rumbles and groans through heavy sound systems.

Briskly traveling from Swansea to Leeds, PTN follows Doc Daneeka's release with an equally hyped EP of fresh material from Hackman, who along with Doc D, featured in FACT Magazine's top 10 producers to watch for the year. Hackman is one of the exploding Funky movement's best and brightest producers, rising fast and unleashing unstoppable rhythm after unstoppable rhythm. Profiled by the venerable and influential Blackdown in 2009 Hackman is no stranger to hype even so early in his career. But it's not all just hype, and if anything, the hyperbole is warranted. Hackman makes music in line with other prominent Funky producers, but his productions have a certain sheen and a peculiarly humid quality that make them unmistakable. His impressive grasp of bass (see the absolutely crushing basslines in 'Bodies' and 'Surround' off of his EP for Well Rounded, betrays his initial foray into dubstep, and it lends his music a power both more nuanced and more visceral than many of his contemporaries.

Having already graced Hench with his debut release, Ironhide / Slaughtered, Justin Cantor, a.k.a Lost, brings his latest batch of weaponry. With his debut releases on Hench being deemed strong enough to appear next to some of the scene's biggest producers, such as Jakes, Komonazmuk and Chasing Shadows. Since that first release, Lost has been a regular feature in Get Darker TV's live shows and this new offering will not disappoint fans.
a. Distustin Justin - Cutting straight to the chase, Lost captures the sub-bass perspective of 90's dance culture perfectly with Disgustin Justin. With the swinging bassline making creating a raw and dubby atmosphere, you can immediately tell that this was built to be played on a big soundsystem. Scattered high-hats and glitches keep the momentum rolling forward solidly. Estranged vocal in the background and the percussive drums add to the tripped-out mood of this production. From the evidence shown here, there is no doubt that Lost's sound is maturing.
aa. An eerie soundscape guides us into Metalfoot - leading you into a false sense of security whilst building to the drop. And when this fat, chrome-guilded bassline drops in you gather an understanding of where the inspiration for this track's name came from. Slow-drawing snare, pulsating sub-bass and ticking high hats provide the ingredients for this dread-inducing track. This one's a real grower and is going to be turning heads when it gets dropped on the dancefloor.
DJ support for both tracks from: Jakes, Mistajam, Hatcha, Cyrus, N-Type, Darkside, Noah D, Datsik, Breezy and more.

'Felt The Need' is the debut solo single from Nika D of Virus Syndicate. A collaboration with Parisian producer DJ Absurd, the track takes the listener on a gritty journey through the beaten rain soaked back streets of Manchester as Nika D unravels a yarn of frustration and social angst over DJ Absurd's moody layered strings and dub tinged backdrop. As a bonus fellow Virus Syndicate member MRK1 adds his own pepper hot spice to the pot providing a scorching bass driven vocal remix and dub, as if the original mix wasn't hot enough already

Tes La Rok's 'Hot Jam' is characterised by long under-toning basslines, rolling beats and an echoing, techy melody line. On the Flip, American producer Djunya presents a slower, more relaxed, and basic track. Pan pipes filter over the top, while slow low-end bass-lines lie under a simple bouncy mid range.

Hailing from the suburbs of Paris, Von D's soul soaked sound is an expression of his multi cultural roots. Bon is a breezy cocktail of soothing pads, crunchy garage rhythms and the angelic tones of French soul sensation Zhakee. For Argon number thirty Blasta & Distinction delivery two impeccable remixes.
