What an insane track! This is the kind of ear-gasmic production you would expect from SKiSM and Flux Pavillion, with mad bars from the Foreign Beggars. We have been waiting for a new Flux Pavillion release for a while, and perhaps the December release of this track signifies the release of other material from Flux Pavillion, maybe even collaborating with SKiSM.

After few months of silence we are back with a new massive 12'. This time it's Jacky Murda and Max Powa, a duo from Barcelona that goes by the name of JingBong Ting. After many years on the jungle scene, in 2006 Jacky started the Little Island project, collaborating in Brighton and Barcelona with UK producer Kion on dubby, deep, rootsy material. Tunes by Kion & Murda started to get rotation in crucial UK dances like DMZ, >>FWD , and SuperDubPressure with djs like Mala, Rusko, Tes La Rok, Joe Nice, Nick Argon, BunZer0, Noah D, Daddy G, N-Type and Itchy Robot picking up on the Little Island sound. 2009 also marked the creation of the 'JingBong Ting', a live act comprised of Jacky Murda and Max Powa. JingBong Ting's first release dropped in 2010 on WAR records, and the second release , complete with video, 'Sundown' featuring Top Cat in May 2011. On the Flip you can find a heavy Ragga-Jungle remix by HoT a DJ and Producerliving in Tula, Russia. In 2009 his remix of - Policeman and Soldiers' appeared on the famous jungle label JungleXpeditions. Today HoT continues to push his sound to the worldwide ragga-jungle massive.

'Look to the east for the coming of a black king.'Having smashed dancehalls and festivals throughout Europe over the last 7 years, Trojan Sound System have returned to the studio following their critically acclaimed debut album on Trojan records, 'New Rebel Stories'. The songs evolved on classic Reggae anthems in a live sound system context and are now being translated into studio tracks. Debuted at Outlook festival's main stage a few weeks ago, it destroyed thousands of reggae, dubstep and jungle heads.Trojan Sound System is the performance unit of legendary reggae label Trojan Records. The Sound comprises Daddy Ad, Earl Gateshead, Superfour, Chucky Banton and Jah Buck, all top performers on the London and European sound system scene. They perform at festivals and reggae events all over the world and have crossed over into Dubstep, Drum and Bass, Hip Hop and Dance music clubs and festivals. Recent main stage slots include Camp Bestival, The Garden Festival, Soundwave festival, Reggae Sun Ska and Outlook festival amongst many others. Last year they also sold out two shows at London's Koko, a serious feat and a benchmark in this authentic reggae sound's fanbase and potential and return to Koko on October 15th. They are also playing an in-store at London's Rough Trade East in late September. 'Turn to the East' was written by Superfour, TSS's energetic and blind vocalist with conscious lyrics and a passionate delivery. The heartfelt chorus is sung by Chucky Banton. The title is inspired by the biblical reference 'Look to the east for the coming of a black king' and celebrates numerous black aspirations. Musically, it uses contemporary forms to produce the feel of an '80s roots 12' with overpowering bass driving it throughout. Two times DMC champ and Beardyman collaborator, JFB, unleashes a relentless dubstep remix of the track on the B side. There are a string of single releases in the run up to the album on TSS records limited edition white label with more from Toddla T, Jerry Dammers and many more at the production helm with Earl Gateshead and Daddy Ad.

Limited to 400 copies

Previously only available as a download, this super-limited white label collects a number of instrumental versions from Joker's debut album which came out earlier in the year.

Part 1 of Raise the Devil

After releasing two hype EPs already this year ('Motherboard' on Hardrive and 'Lighter' on Formula), one of UK Funky's most prolific producers wastes no time in striking again with 'Sensitivity' - something a little less aggressive than usual but still maintaining the fierce danceable groove that Champion is famed for. Ruby Lee Ryder lends her vocals to the A-side's silky production; with delicate harmonies she sings in a lullaby fashion to sweetly compliment the subtle synth stabs and refined chopped bassline. Champion's signature raw drum programming is still on show, although less prominent, fuelling the track with plenty of natural rhythm and adding to its sultry nature. Only the second release on Champion's newly-minted Formula Records imprint, 'Sensitivity' has gained early support from Mistajam, Marcus Nasty and Cameo as well as featuring on Ben UFO's current 'Rinse 16' mix compilation. The B-side sees Champion in more familiar dancefloor territory with the unrelenting 'Tun Up Di Bass', bound to please fans of 130 BPM bass music from the likes of Redlight and Roska.

Tell me, have you got money for this champagne, b*tch...!That's it, the first release of the prodigal son French Fries on his own imprint, ClekClekBoom Recordings.A massive turn in his young but already flourished career... this number sees him going deep and dark on 'Champagne', twisting the vibe with mystic flute, nasty strings and cold screwd up grime lyrics, while 'Hugz' in collab with partner in crime Bambounou, drops a minimalistic yet sharp and agressive house beat, with old school pulse bass synth flavor and a naughty female vocal touch, a favorite of many big DJs right now.Beware, heavy loaded subs right here, UK style, not for the laptop heads...Limited vinyl edition of 500 copies... seriously man watchu thinking about, pre-order this thing now!

From the Mind of Erik! Dropping the dopest tunes since 1987, Erik is back on the radar in 2011 with these 4 brand new tunes! This gets every Detroit party started and if you are not to stiff in the hips you'll be shaking your ass on these crazy tunes.

After two fine EPs, the experimental hip-hop project helmed by former Digable Planets leader Ishmael Butler steps out with a full album release, 'Black Up'.

Out of an 8.8 earthquake, riots and severe illness comes one of the most joyful records of the year. Brian Gibbs aka Echo Park has had a colourful life to say the least, living and making music in L.A., Tokyo, Madrid, Mexico City and now Santiago, Chile where he lives with his young family. Previously a producer of dark hip hop and dub, a series of disasters made him confront mortality and decide it was time to make the music that is closest to his heart: luscious, sunshine-infused electro-funk full of laid back attitude and 'real songs'.Skream has always been a lover of disco, boogie and electro - as anyone who's heard one of his specialist sets or his slick'n'sleazy remix of Chromeo will know. It took just one hearing of Brian's first Echo Park tracks via a mutual friend to snap them up for Disfigured Dubz. In fact he has chosen Echo Park for the first full album on the label... but first comes this killer single, a shmoooove bit of vocoder funk that sets the tone for Echo Park's twin obsessions with technology and romance. Bundled with it are a gutbusting ravemonster of a rework by 12th Planet & Flinch that somehow still keeps the soul of the track intact, and Jon Convex taking it way underground with a deeper-than-deep analogue techno version. There's something for everyone here and this is just the beginning.

The mighty Hench return with their latest release from Russia's Giant which contains three members one of which being Enei who has been famed for his recent big releases in D&B world on labels like Critical. Big bashy dancefloor Dubstep on offer here from a label renowned for releasing some of the biggest Dubstep anthems out there.

Canadian producer 'Nautiluss' aka Graham Douglas Bertie of Thunderheist (of underground dance hit 'Jerk It' on Big Dada) and UK singer/songwriter Simon Lord (Simian/Black Ghosts) under his Lord Skywave alter ego, joined forces after meeting on a high-spirited liquor-sodden North American tour. Lauded by their peers Mistajam, Giles Peterson, Mary Anne Hobbs, and Sinden, their hyped sound, exploring fresh sonic territory has already had national airplay. Their first collaboration 'Ultraviolet' is a finely tuned piece of dark, tense and spectral noise - classic, cavernous after-hours club music, backed with the instrumental 'Bleu Monday'.

Chrissy Murderbot - last heard on 'Women's Studies', his outrageously enjoyable album trip through bass styles on Planet Mu - is back with a star-studded new EP of booty anthems on his own Loose Squares imprint, merging elements of juke, grime, and booty bass with big hooks and a pop sensibility. The lead track 'I'm A Asshole' features Texan sizzurp-superstar Johnny Moog (Palms Out Sounds), and has one of the catchiest hooks of 2011. DJ Gant-Man (Fools Gold / Dance Mania) steps up to the plate next, delivering on the super-raunchy soon-to-be-classic 'I Nutted In You'. 'Pop That Shit' and 'Girl' are bass-heavy ghetto house workouts, while 'The Call Of Booty' and 'Back That Thang Up' are big club anthems on a classic Miami Bass tip, featuring upcoming rappers Young Live (Tha Basix) and Add-2 (MTV Suckafree Countdown / OkayPlayer / 2DopeBoyz). Proper monster club sounds, in a limited hand-numbered run of 500, the first 200 of which on coloured vinyl.

uh oh.. It's been a long time coming....the inevitable Paul White Rap album! 4 years of carving out his own psychedelic (mainly instrumental) niche on the UK's One Handed Music imprint, a lot of people have been asking when this was going to happen. Loaded with shining appearances from the cream of current underground MC's; Guilty Simpson, Marv Won, Danny Brown, Tranqill (Ruling on one of Paul White's rudest beats to date), Homeboy Sandman, Nancy Elizabeth, Moe Pope and the crown prince of UK Hip Hop, Jehst,. There are also plenty of whacked out instrumentals and skits to keep the beat-heds heady. TIP!
UK producer leads transatlantic talent on a freewheeling hip-hop adventure.

Renowned ex-Roll Deep MC Trim's unique tongue twisting style continues to grow in popularity, with new tracks in the works soon with Skream, Toddla T, Starkey and Terror Danjah. His buzz-building 'Stereotype' collaboration with Mark Pritchard drops on Planet Mu early in September, but before that, he joins the growing Butterz camp for the label's second vocal excursion, the hugely-in-demand and available now 'I Am. Revisiting TRC's 'Skipping Rope' instrumental from the first release in the Butterz White Label series, 'I Am' is Trim on a more laid back vibe then his usual 'war monger' approach, but it is one of the best things he has written so far, already strongly supported by a host of big name DJs including Logan Sama, Sinden, Benji B, and Mistajam. On the remix duties are young Birmingham producer Preditah, who has been climbing the ranks this year producing for JME and the Earth 616 label, followed by Hyperdub / Keysound residents LV, who keep up the skippy vibe of the original on their vinyl-only version. Finally, 'Notice Now' on the flip is a new Trim vocal on D.O.K.'s 'Chemical Planet' tune, which first appeared on Butterz in 2010.

Limited Yellow vinyl 12" !

'Gangsta' recently took on a different shape when the band made their US TV debut on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon two weeks ago, with Merrill and the band performing it with The Roots.
This 12' takes the hip-hop inspired elements of 'Gangsta' even further with remixes from legends in the field, Adrock (Beastie Boys) and Cut Chemist (Jurassic 5, Ozomatli and DJ Shadow collaborator). Like all good old school records, the 12' is completed with not only the original but also with both the instrumental and
a cappella versions of the track.
