Exclusive Vinyl Releases - News

Nearly a year after Part 5 Butch & Amir found new friends and grew their family to be ready for Part 6. And again this is not about well established artists but a platform to support fantastic newcomers and give them a possibility to showcase their sounds...
So please give it up for the new family members CrossNineTroll from Hungary, Bjorn Wolf & Youri Donaz from Holland with a little help from our hero Mike Dunn,

Kareem Cali (the master behind Brooklyn's label Inmotion Music) and Spencer K from France.

Hamburg based star duo Kruse & Nuernberg, already key players in the deep house scene with star appearances on labels like Lazy Days, Noir or Moodmusic and having worked with the likes of Groove Armada or Wolf + Lamb, come forward to provide an exquisite EP for OFF.

"Off Course" takes us back to the roots of US house, with a string filtered disco sample full of magic and a pulsating bass groove that will not allow anybody to stay put on the dancefloor.

Stefano Ritteri, from Defected fame, brings his own talent on remix duties turning this track into a bass house monster. While keeping the string vibe alive he adds his trickery and a killer bassline that grooves the whole way through.

Last comes "Since You Came" with K&N's signature sound, lovely rhodes and perfect vocal flow constructed over a rolling bass and classic house beats.

Refined, soulful and powerful, just how we like things at OFF.

Early support by: Stereo Express, Rene Bourgeois, Rich Vom Dorf, Patrick Arbez, Kanzler & Wischnewski, Miyagi, Dembowski etc.

Next Dancefloor Bomb Vinyl on Ton liebt Klang with the homies Chris Blum and Stadtmusikant. The tracks are absolutely for the dancefloor. Both tracks are remixed by Arts & Leni.

To celebrate the 5th birthday from Skryptom we decided to propose a best of the label in 13 tracks for 13 releases and an exclusive selection of fine tunes to make 3 various EP with all the skryptom artists and friends. For the third and last one, we are finishing well with 4 solo projects combining 3 strong artists from the label plus a promising newcomer. Maxime Dangles delivers a groovy hot techno track, influenced by Chicago sounds with the 2012 way of doing, hit! Paul Nazca mixes his techno deep spirit to a typical berghain sound with a lot of relief, huge ! Traumer, our promising French talent, produced an interior travel to a techno ghetto dance floor tracks, big surprise. The newcomer Gran Cavaliere is also a promising new talent and his melodic approach of the dance floor is really new and he should surprise and change your vision of deep minimal techno. Unusual sound of skryptom, but we love so many things and this one is a big tune !!! check check check

Support from Pig & Dan, Stephan Bodzin, Macromism, Florian Meindl, Slam, Nicolas Masseyeff, The Man With No Shadow, Danny Serrano, Guy J, Olderic, Jerome Isma-ae, Wally Lopez, Funkagenda...

Duky makes for a proper debut on Yoruba Grooves kicking off the label's first vinyl release with a sincerely deep and techy, minimal groove, "Thinking About You" which is accompanied by two massive remixes from France's Loquace and Germany's Chris Lattner.

The package comes signed with three tracks guaranteed to produce some heat at any hour of the night and even the earliest of mornings. Loquace pumps up Duky's original with his signature energetic tech house style, the perfect track to seriously up the ante in any set. While Lattner injects his deep and groovy house sound, plumping up Duky's minimal style with a big fat heavy bassline.

Quite a tremendous package that is sure to get the party started, keep the party going, and end the party in all the right notes.

*** vinyl only ***
After his first vinyl on his own label Wall Music Limited he published his second Ep Out of Hell. Mean, evil, screw synths .... There are remixes by Yan Cook, known by Octave´s label Silent Steps and Felix Lorusso, known by DerHut Records or by Blank Code.

We give a warm and greeting welcome to a new addition for our artist family to Thomas Hock aka Bait And Switch from Bad Nauheim ! His first EP for AFU Limited contains three powerful tunes with ass moving guaranty ! The title track combines a killer groove, dark voices and a furious groovin synthline to a real peak time killer.
Bait and Switch speaks for itself and that is precisely what makes Tom aka Bait and Switch to his supreme commandment! The same applies in his DJ Sets as well as in the track forge at his studio at home.
So within 3 years he was able to establish his Vinyl-Label "Sophisticated Retreats" succesfully, even across the borders of Germany.
With its nearly 2 decades of love for electronic music, it is natural for him, that a DJ set or produced track has its very own statement that you can feel his wild passion.
A proof that the own clear demands are true shows not least that his productions are already played in DJ sets by artists such as Richie Hawtin, Tobi Neumann, Markus Kavka, Terry Lee Brown Jr. , Tony Rohr, Popof, David Keno, Claude von Stroke, Ivan Smagghe and many more ...

Played by Richie Hawtin, Umek, Ricardo Villalobos,

Bavaria based label Treibjagd-Records strikes again with its fourth installment featuring Patrick Kunkel (Cocoon Records) & Sascha Barth. "The Door" is a smooth Tech House track, including an earsoothing female vocal sample. This gets backed by remixes from label owner Ill-Boy Phil, DJoker with a little techno-ish touch and the brainfreezing subbass of the Joseph Disco Remix. Another release not to miss from this new and uprising label.

The 10. Gold release will be on black gold only and finally putting 2 future classics out on vinyl. Rodriguez Jr.'s amazing alternative remix for Pedro Mercado & Karada's 'behind the sun' was hammered on ibiza during the whole summer and looks like unbreakable. Pizeta's sure floorfiller 'Klezmer' definitely puts a smile on everybody's faces and you can hear the whole sing along with it immediately.

Let's celebrate 7 years of Martin Eyerer's & Rainer Weichhold's label with a great release with 4 brandnew and previsously unreleased tracks or remixes from our regular and beloved artists.

We are very proud to still be in the game in these troubled times, thanks to our family members Namito, Kaiserdisco, Nicole Moudaber, Thomas Schumacher and of course the two big bosses Martin & Rainer... who all delivered great new bombs for this birthday release.

Edition 3 of Gynoid's 'Reprise' series brings the Swedish techno veteran Mattias Fridell to the table with one of his strongest tracks to date " Temporal Axis", and Advanced Human with his trademark dubby, yet very dance-floor focused and crisp sound on "Deep Earth". The two remixes on this release are from Rebekah with an absolutely bangin' interpretation of Dark Chambers - "Flow" and Dasha Rush with her deep/atmospheric version of Ground Loop's "Hour 25". All four cuts have gained strong support from the likes of Adam Beyer, Slam, Audio Injection, Samuli Kemppi, Inigo Kennedy, Paul Mac, Tommy Four Seven, Jonas Kopp, Exium and Peter Van Hoesen amongst others.

Amir is the brain behind bouq and not only responsible for starting the label together with Butch but also for running the huge event section. Following a five-year hiatus the #Stockholm based label, Finest Blend makes its return in March. With previous releases from the likes of Orlando Voorn, Shawn Rudiman, Terence Dixon and label head, Kenny Black it became synonymous with hi-tech grooves, breaking barriers, crossing genres and developing new ones. For its re-launch Finest Blend turns to Santiago Salazar with three tracks of his characteristic house / techno sound.

Santiago Salazar, otherwise known as DJ S2 started DJing in the early '90s inspired by mixtapes his brother was bringing back from LA's gay underground scene. After moving to Detroit, Santiago began his musical training with non other than UR's Mike Banks, going on to mix and edit several UR releases, most notably remixing the mighty 'Return of the Dragons' and DJ Rolando's 'Aguila'. Santiago released his own tracks under monikers like Aztech Sol and Seldom Seen and became a core member of the Los Hermanos and Galaxy 2 Galaxy live bands, using his DJ skills to control the flow and intensity of the live performances. Alongside long time friend Esteban Adame, Santiago formed ICAN (short for Mexican) and has released highly acclaimed tracks for the label as well as Carl Craig's Planet E.

His new EP for Finest Blend opens with the upbeat 'Galactic Stomp' full of shimmering flourishes and a tough bassline, before the funked-up shuffle of 'The Twang' makes its hit, ending with the spacey electronics of '3000 Northend'.

Mat.Joe - Luvit :
As steady providers of some of the most exciting club music around, we brought one of our busiest core acts, Mat.Joe, back in the saddle with an outstanding 2-track EP to do the honors.

"Luvit" is one of those songs that turns a night around, with infectious piano stabs, hypnotic pads and vocals and a massive breakdown this groovy summer jam will uplift the spirit of everyone in any discerning dancefloor.

With 'Lost Your Mind' on the flipside, the Berlin duo brings Zach Joss, one of the most sough after set of vocal chords in the scene under his Forrest alias, to the mic and together they create a french house/disco infused house vocal monster with incredible arrangements and a catchy funk bassline. Once again the breakdown build up is huge and turns this one into a mad floorfiller...

Summer is at its peak and we are very happy to keep providing the perfect soundtrack for a great party! Mat.Joe did it again!

Purple Disco Machine - Musique:

One of the fastest growing names in our roster and probably throughout the whole scene as well, Purple Disco Machine, creates such a level of expectation that we can't help to feel overthrilled every time he delivers one of his perfectly crafted EP's. We truly love him here at OFF recordings and he keeps paying back with incredible music.

This is probably one of his biggest works to date, "Musique" is one of those tracks that turns all the heads around, a game changer. With his trademark disco vibe and a touch of french house influence, PDM sends us on a soul trip with infectious chords, intense drums, inmense breakdowns and just the right amount of epic in what will sure be one of this summer's biggest anthems.

Flip for "Let The Rain Pour" where its all about the synth disco vibes and indie melancholic vocals working their magic around wonderfully arranged keys. The energy in this two songs is through the roof, we are happy once again to be able to bring you music from the heart. Dont sleep on this!

!!! limited repress coming shortly - exclusively signed by manfred vokuhila !!! mihai popoviciu, der schon auf dj hell's gigolo records einen club hit gelandet hat, kommt hier mit

After Martinez and it's "Interaction" EP, it's another great honor for JETT to welcome a king size artist on the label.

Andreas Henneberg is the founder of Voltage Musique Records and Cascandy as well as part of 'The Glitz' and 'Hennon'. He is also parts of the famous Plantage 13 family and regulary releases on record labels like IDEAL Audio, Confused Recordings, Herzblut, AREAL, Kiddaz.FM, Material and Toolroom.

Aldo Cadiz is already well known on JETT with his famous EP 'Zaze Tripa' in 2011, he strikes again with his very own groovy and techy style. JETT label owner Fred Siera delivers the second remix in a dark and deep mood.

The guys from Ektschn! perfectly capture the muffled sounds that occur as the sun hits the horizon. In case you wonder how come you have not heard of this live act before or why you have not seen the boys in any of your favorite underground clubs, you are in for quite the surprise. Beatamines and Mirco Niemeier are the two friendly faces, hiding behind their new monicker - Ektschn! It seems that the collaboration between to two is quite a fruitful one listening to these two monster tracks, charged with such an electrifying rhythm. Ektschn & Chunky are made for dancing, sweating and excessive exchange of positive vibes. Sunset Handjob must be definitely pleased with its 7th hyperactive kid...

Almighty is an intelligent and fun tribal tech-house track from swedish producer Hakan Ludvigson and offers complex rhythms and a quirky voice.Per Hammar (Great Stuff Recordings) adds a huge mainroom house remix tothe pack - real chart-topping material! On the A side, Leftwing and Kody have called up German Brigante to bring his infectious dancefloor grooves to this Lost Records latest release. Their Spanish hombre has released music on some impressive labels over the last few years, and has been on the Lost A&R radar for while now. Kimbo sees German stepp up with a characteristic tech house vibe. This bassline heavy groove fits in nicely with some hidden vocal samples and an unnerving synth effect, on top of a big drop. The spaced out drum patterns throughout will have the dancefloor fixated on their feet. On a remix tip is one of Brigante's friends and countryman, Cuartero. He reworks the original with his trademarked techno tremors, taking the track further underground with deeper hooks where the method on the raw synths requires no special effects. Unalloyed rare energy throughout which will work up a mysterious groove on any dancefloor.

Flipping to the AA side, straight off the bat Hector Couto kicks off with the title track "I Believe", a hypnotic and infectious number armed to the teeth with precise hi-hats and brooding basslines. "I Believe" cements Hector Couto's production to an ever evolving sound while setting the stage perfectly for the follow up track "Knight Riders". Built on similar foundations to "I Believe", "Knight Riders" introduces a rich soundscape, playing deep and shadowy attributes against a field of succinct vocals and lead synth lines.

Following on from last year's colossal success, Hungarian producer Jay Lumen is set to drop a two track EP on the Kittball imprint this February.

Jay Lumen has been making a serious dent in the Beatport Overall Charts in recent years by making a habit out of recurring Top 10 chart appearances. The talented producer has also achieved a slew of number ones within the Tech House and Techno categories such as with 'The Drummer', 'Get Ya!' as well as his massive remix of Kevin Saunderson's 'The Sound'. Furthermore with only a month into 2014 Lumen has already seen 'Say What' and 'Nobody' achieving number 5 and 7 positions in the Tech House charts respectively, an early forecast of another thriving year for the artist.

Continuing this momentum into February, Jay Lumen's upcoming release on Kittball is one which will undoubtedly follow suit. 'Find Myself' is a percussive beast complete with drum rolls and a punchy hook to forge a track geared for that peak time dancefloor frenzy. On the other hand 'Radio Ready' provides a more debauched affair, using a concoction of pulsing bass, whirring synths and remorseless build ups which continuously fuel the intensity of this unbelievably sinister cut.

Bass4Bots is proud to announce that after several years of searching on distant
planets, our research team has finally discovered the missing link to machine
consciousness . We are now (for the first time ever), able to provide your machine
with a heart. It will not only act human-like; it will also have a self-depending and
unpredictable character, just like a friend or a child.
Our "People of Earth" program can now update* your robot (or any
machine of your choice) with a synthetic soul, no additional devices such as needles or
implants required! Don't sleep on this, make your robot happy...now...!

Detective Report: Filed at 3:03 AM
Location: Axel's Coffee Cafe, Mindcut Mall
Crime Scene: 4 males, seated round a table. Looks like they used to be
one of those famous boy bands. Designer haircuts, lots of bling. Too
much bling for workers earning dimes and dollars in a donut shack.
Must've had some sort of meeting going on after hours. Scribbled notes
on the table describe a few attempts to make some of that EDM crap kids
are listening to these days (Not like the real music when I was
young.). IDs still in their pockets give names as Dave Tarrida,
JoeFarr, Paul Birken, and Sunil Sharpe. All four victims still seated,
appear to have suffered similar type of acid attack while restrained.
All victims were employees at this dive working various shifts serving
coffee and donuts. Store manager is some guy named Axel..has a few
joints around town, real small potato type places. Other poorly
scribbled notes show some dance moves/choreography they were trying to
sort out for a show or fundraiser, but I see multiple doctor notes
stating no excessive/strenuous movements due to age. Poor bastards,
they just couldn't give up the dream. Following footsteps towards back
door which is open. Another few pages of notes laying here too. Looks
like these boys owed someone some money and someone came to collect.
Conclusion: Serious Donut Face

Following the success of previous vinyl 'Heavy Rotation' EP by Him_Self_Her, next Sex Panda White one is vinyl again.
This time label presents German masters of combining nu-disco and deep house vibes, the project which has created a reputation of a fast and properly growing project, especially after having storming beatport deep house charts with their releases on OFF Recordings (My House) - Dresden based Purple Disco Machine and their 'Need Someone' EP.
Label heads Marcato & Tiny Toon are filling the A-side. Their heavy bassline remix filed with massive high hat sections shows guys versatility of the music they do.
B-side opens new talents - Nurvous Records' scarlet Jamie Antonelli, who is lucky to be remixed by MK for the his very first track, goes into deep side of the track. Squareness, simplicity and melody - three words to give a short review of the remix.
Funkpony Records labelhead, Toolroom Records artist and just a quality producer from Britain is closing the release with his 'Need Someone version. Dirty and uncompromised, you will it interesting to give a play.
Pure funkiness, real jewel and just a good thing to play - that's Sex Panda White as usual!
