Edgy Danish producer KANT provides us one of his deepest cuts yet on Kittball.

Fast-rising Danish producer KANT has had a stellar year with releases on reputable imprints such as Suara, Electronique, Sleazy Deep, and Katermukke. Once a hip hop artist under the name of J.O., Joachim Schaarup-Jenson has explored various avenues of genres and spent substantial time between London and Berlin over the last decade - two key factors in forging his signature edgy sound. KANT even translates to 'edge' in Danish, a fitting name for such an exciting and unconventional artist.

'Never You Mind' is a track which epitomises this statement. A driving progressive bassline makes up the bones of the production but it's the sullen chords and intangible cries from the vocals which create an unyielding aura of ambience throughout. Talented up-and-comer In.deed presents a remix which boasts more of a percussive punch which pairs with a funky hook to create a bouncier comparison to its original. Kittball artist Mono Negro finishes up with his 'Trip To Hvar Remix' which is deservingly titled due to its tranquil vibes and warm synth washes that perfectly emulate the nature of a sunny Croatian beach.

Zurich, Switzerland. It's ad.lib & silvision again. It's not often that a debut release gets as much attention and support as 'Collide' did exactly one year ago. It was played by artists like Chris Liebing, Tommy Four Seven or Samuel L. Session. In the meantime ad.lib & silvision established themself in the international techno scene with outstanding releases on labels like BCR, Gynoid Audio or De:Konstrukt.

Now they're back on Affin with the "Sins EP" containing two originals and remixes by Label Owner Joachim Spieth and Raffael Attanasio (Non Series, Envlp). The first original "Greed" is generating a lot of drive and a hypnotic quality off a rich array of fx and a never ending mad arrangement of synth stabs. "Envy" is hitting even harder with off kicks, some nervous hihats and a mad definition of space. both originals have this dense yet warm low end which became part of ad.lib & silvisions signature sound. Kevin Over was born in Oberhausen/Ruhr Area (Germany) in 1991. The young prodigy started to spin the turntables when he was 14 years old. A few times later, when he reached the year of 15, he played his first gigs in local clubs together with well known DJs like Oliver Koletzki, Thomas Schumacher and Tocadisco.

Kevin doesnt commit himself to one music style. He always tries to keep it different. Some of his own productions go a way more deeper and reduced ,other are more rough and targeted at the peak time to reach a wild movement on the floors. In the mid of the year 2008 Kevins track "Talk to Me" has caught the attention of the famous DJ Duo Peace Division who signed it for their last contribution to the famous Mix-Series called "Coast2Coast"on NRK Music.

His releases got further support from people like Wehbba,Funk D'Void, Pleasurekraft, Citizen Kain, Martin Landsky, Alex Young, Tom Wax, Wollion, Danton Eeprom, Martin Eyerer just to name a few.

The original version was produced by Stiv & Vallo, Italian duo formed in 2005 by two friends who shared the same passion for techno music and rumbling rhythms.
Their sets and their productions are the union of dark sonority, rolling rhythms and techno vibrations.

The first version that can be found in ''A2'' was produced by AUDIO INJECTION (a.k.a. Truncate), a great artist who has found excellent results in the Techno music scene, out on many labels respected as Droid, CLR, Electric Deluxe, Sleaze, BluFin, Enemy, Impact Mechanics, Ground Factory.

The second version that can be in ''B1'' was produced by PIATTO, The name "Piatto" stands for a combo, that is the brothers Davide and Alessandro. In 2005 they have started to collaborate with Dandi & Ugo, and they found together the record label "Italo Business".
Nowadays "Piatto" continue on releasing tracks and remix for several labels reaching always good positions in the charts.

The third version that can be in ''B2'' was produced by GYMMY J & DANIELE CROCENZi, two artists who have turned their passions reality about electronic music, following influence Techno, experiencing great satisfaction with time with excellent results, starting to work with the Italo Business group.

Arnaud Le Texier cut his teeth managing music shops and building a huge collection of records during the nineties. His vast knowledge of the house and techno scenes led him to establish two widely acclaimed underground labels: Atcha, along with British dj James Warren, and Kailash. In 2005, he founded Safari Electronique, a more personal and experimental imprint that focuses on minimalistic sounds and sensual dance-floor oriented grooves. Since moving to London, Arnaud has been playing at some of the most famous clubs of the English capital such as T-Bar, Kubicle, Secret Sundaze and, most importantly, Fabric, where he held some memorable parties for his label. This ep sees the France born producer coming back to Aloe Records with an impressive and utterly elegant set of tracks: "Global Swift"'s deep, warm chords strum along emotional vocals and a rolling bass line, while "Recharges"' delicate pad melodies and intricate and subtle vocal snippets welcome loopy filtered trippy and mesmerizing synth stabs, 909 rim shots and a slightly off-beat sounding clap. "Platinum" is lively, boasting yet more 909 craziness and a mind altering ebullient spectral arpeggio, underlined by a chugging kick drum: a straightforward banger, this one shows Arnaud's harder and uncompromising side. The release closes off with "Digital Waves", where the monolithic bass is matched by a steady progression: a chemical feeling made human by the tune's lolloping sense of propulsion.

I guess everyone living in Ibiza is a gypsy in one way or another. A
multitude of roads lead here, but essentially its still an island full of
nomads and travellers who see the whole world as their home and follow a
bohemian lifestyle. Nima Gorji ended up here via music studies in Denmark
after leaving his native Iran at the age of 13.
Since he started music school, Nima has carved his own way in the music
world across continents. Achieving great success in Scandinavia through his
own production as Black Powder, and events as Verydisco, he finally settle
down in ibiza in 2005.
After being regularly playing in clubs like Space (Whats Up) , Pacha, and
Privilege (Monza), he decided to devote himself to the underground scene.
Therefore, you can always see him spin the desks at his favorite club: Ibiza
Underground. At the 2010 edition of Ibiza DJ Awards, he receive the award of
Ibiza resident DJ.
Along with a floating collective of DJs and producers he is now part of the
creative landscape of the island with his labels Welt Recordings.
In the last four years, Nima has been spinning worldwide from Spain to
Japan, Romania, south America or even Australia, etc...

After their first vinyl-release "Freitag", Frank Adelante and Dominik Vogel return on RotRaum Music with their new track "HerTzschrittmacher". Driven by a pumping leadsynth, this techno-bomb directly enters the body and will raise the roof of the club! Aiming at a timeless and characteristic sound, only hardware instruments and analog machines were used in the production.
The limited oneside 12" will come as red vinyl, containing the 10:17 min. original mix and a tool version, which is reduced to the main-synth and -percussion to use it in dj performances.

The house sound of Romania rocks worldwide dancefloor for years and it seems that more and more highly talented newcomers are emerging from this country. Kumia is the title of the 13th release from International Sound Laboratory and is written and produced by ISL artist Tuomas Salmela aka Phonogenic. "Kumia" connects the sound of his previous release, "Artifacts" with the continuation of the latest developments from our Finnish collaboration laboratory in Tampere, Finland. This time we also sent a sample to specialist researcher Samuli Kemppi, who also is involved with heavy duty works on labels such as Luke Slater's Mote Evolver.

Since bursting on to the scene 5 years ago, German agency Jackmode has caused quite a stir with their party-
starting sensibilities and keen ear for a dancefloor gem. What's more, they've also introduced a wealth of new
talent, not least Adana Twins, Claptone, HNQO, Kruse & Nuernberg, Round Table Knights and Doctor Dru. Their
most recent endeavor acts as a fitting snapshot to all that's great about them, with 5 Years of Jackmode the sort
of record they've built their consistent reputation on.
