Klasse Recordings is pleased to present KLSUNDERGROUND002, our second fully fledged various artists compilation. Continuing on the tradition from the first in the series, 002 calls on Klasse family members as well as a few extended friends of the label and collates a beautifully put together release.

KLSUNDERGROUND002 takes the series in a decidedly darker direction and none better typifies this than the work of Kris Wadsworth, the young Detroit native brings his A-Game with 'Rules', a swaggering and moody acid-tinged track that ticks all the boxes of his signature style.

Klasse crew members Mr. Ho and Florian Blauensteiner team up on 'Crescendo' and proving two heads are better than one, the Viennese duo turn in a mean and powerful roller of a track. Arpeggiated synths and stuttered grooves provide a sturdy backbone to a track with bucketloads of attitude.

Upcoming UK House producer Dudley Strangeways lends his hand to flawless swinging grooves and DX style bass hits with 'Kudos', a track that restlessly fidgets and mixes vibes with melancholic pads and organ stabs. 'Kudos' is sure to get feet tapping and hands clapping.

Swedish newcomer, Lemieux debuts on Klasse with 'Bass Unit'. This beautiful and haunting track takes its time and builds up a wonderful momentum, gathering speed with fully analog kicks and claps it blossoms into an unforgettable bassline drop.

The next sure shot on for you ldt. on the #002 the feelings are dropping a massive summertrack which took samples of a maybe well known old school funk and soul track. here comes the summer on limited vinyl only. dompe completes this ep with his enterpretation of cool groovy modern house music. be quick. this is huge!

Wonky bleep electro techno, old school and distorted. 6 tunes on an Orange plate.

After Martin Eyerer's move to Berlin and the construction of his Riverside Studios with the residents and partners Booka Shade, Pan-Pot, Tobi Neumann, Santé, Stephan Hinz, Jade Souaid etc he's back with his first Kling Klong release in 2013. And obviously Berlin is pure inspiration for the Kling Klong founder as well, just listen to his 'Cake'. Thanks to his mates Pan-Pot and Markus Homm and their great techno and deep house interpretations, the whole release looks like a biggie for late summer.

in the debut EP on the Stereo 7 Plus Alex Kork brings us 4 original tracks made in his very individual fancy dark techno style with reduced melodic elements. Pure quality sound!!

RE(FORM) owner Myles Sergé brings forth his limited white-label series (MS). The first installment "GHOSTS" is a 1 track banger that was inspired by Berlin night club ://about blank. "GHOSTS" represents the stripped down, organic, and raw energy Myles is known for. This is one release that is not to be missed.

Dani Casarano & Felipe Valenzuela's Melisma imprint has, over the course of its seven releases, swiftly built a strong legion of supporters. Its support of young artists has been bolstered by the inclusion of remixes from internationally acclaimed artists including Lee Van Dowski and Markus Fix.
With Satoshi Tomiie's "Prism Vision" ep still causing global dancefloor waves, Melisma ready themselves to enter the realm of the black gold. Yes sir, Dani and Felipe announce the first of their Melisma Limited series. With only 200 vinyl copies of each ep available and a full digital release some month away, this digi-DJ promo is that much more exclusive!
First up and its the label chiefs themselves who take centre stage with "Better Than Less". The original with its warm and deliciously funky bassline, twisted piano stabs and smooth synth chords is a perfect slice for summer.
Ryan Crosson's rework sees him match the sounds of his electronic laboratory with organic bongo beats. Mysterious, atmospheric and with a brilliantly elasticated bassline, the mix sees the Detroit native take us for a wonderful walk on the wild side.
On a similar but far more percussive tip comes Valentino Kanzyani. The Slovenian producer reworks the original in stunning fashion, creating a perfect terrace moment. Welcome to the jungle!

because highest demand finally on vinyl !!

Klasse Recordings hits the double numbers and debuts Florian Blauensteiners 'Hold On' EP to the world. The title track builds its strength around a catchy and heartfelt vocal phrase that resonates from deep within...An acid bassline works its way around a delicate and intricate groove, bouncing off trancey stabs. The result is an intimate and warm track that also works very well in the big rooms out there.

'62 Steps' is a straightforward dancefloor tool, hectic shuffling beats ride a rolling bassline up and down until they clash with a trumpet call that sounds like it has come straight out of a drunken South American fiesta. This is Klasse's festival anthem....play loud!

Polish native SLG turns 'Hold On' into a full body workout. Old school cowbell melodies sit aside equally retro rave stabs, melding the track into an altogether different type of monster. Showing off his production skills, SLG warps the melodies back and forth, cutting and skewing the vocal line to great effect.

Luca Lozano steps up and provides a bumpy and hypnotic version of the title track, using skippy hats and robust bass notes Lozano creates a steady groove that evolves around the filtered vocal line. The track aims itself squarely at the dancefloor, providing a no-frills groover for dancers and listeners alike.

Dead Sound (Perc Trax / Gynoid Audio)
In 2008, after long being inspired by the UKs longest running techno night Atomic Jam in Birmingham, Paul decided to make a change musically, moving into the world of techno under the name Dead Sound. Since starting out as Dead Sound, Paul has produced a variety of techno sub-genres including his own more broken beat and 4/4 styles by himself and also producing industrial techno alongside DJ partner Videohead. Dead Sounds debut EP, released through Datatrace, displayed an experimental mixture of IDM, bassline orientated techno and dubstep. After hearing Dead Sounds demos, Perc asked Dead Sound and his DJ partner Videohead to remix tracks for Go Hiyama and Samuli. Following the success of these remixes, The Chosen EP was released under Perc Trax. Following the hype of the Perc Trax releases, Acroplane requested some tracks from Dead Sound under the name Pench EP. Coinciding with the Perc Trax releases, Gynoid Audio and Elektrax Recordings showed an interest and Dead Sound has carried out various remixes for them and has EPs due out later in 2011/early 2012 . Alongside Perc and Surgeon, Paul has gained the support of other big players in the techno scene such as Dave Clarke, Richie Hawtin, James Ruskin, Xhin, Stormfield and Warlock and notably Bas Mooy with whom a collaboration project is in the pipeline.

Bas Mooy (Planet Rhythm, Roots, Patterns, Darknet)
Rotterdam home-based dj/producer Bas Mooy (1976) has been active on many fronts in the techno scene since 1999. Heavily influenced by a city that breaths industrial strength twenty-four-seven, he gradually found his way into creating an unique dark sound, which lead him to the forefront of the European techno scene. In 2002 he kickstarted the already legendary Audio Assault record label with label partner Jeroen Liebregts aka Radial, which resulted in the birth of sublabel Arms one year later. Since then the Audio Assault family built a strong and constantly growing fan-base worldwide, showcasing an impressive catalogue with a constant output of stand out twelve inches, setting the standard for today's quality dark techno. For many years he has been a member of the Rotterdam underground collective 'Strictly Techno', creators of over a hundred legendary parties since 1996. Bas has played at many 'top of the bill' clubs and festivals around the globe and is a regular guest at the highly respected Awakenings parties in Holland. Over the years Bas has been a hard working and devoted producer, spending many hours in the studio and putting out music on respected labels such as Planet Rhythm, Roots, Fine Audio Recordings, Darknet, Naked Lunch, Impact Mechanics, Submissions, Patterns, Blank Records and of course his own imprints Audio Assault and Arms.
