The latest edition of our Breaking New Soil series proves that time flies when you´re having fun: This is number 10! Once again presented by label head Gregor Tresher, and this time with two exciting contributions by the man himself, we are proud to announce a very versatile lineup: We have Hybrasil, who Gregor met at a gig in Dublin, presenting a beast of a peaktime track with - Flexo . Returning to the label is Ferdinando Apicella from Naples, better known as Kernel Key, who delivers another non-conforming techno jam that will go big with all the real Techno heads. Next up we have label favorite Fac3off - returning with not one but two amazing tracks presenting his signature sound - we´re sure we´ll be hearing a lot more from this talent in the future! The Yellowheads, hailing from Spain, had a storming EP release on BNS last year and return in very strong shape with - Caelum . Last but not least there is Antipolar from Cologne, with whom Gregor recently shared the decks at Cologne underground club - Gewoelbe - he´s new to the label and is debuting with a very unique sounding production called - Mandal . We hope you enjoy playing and listening to Breaking New Soil Volume 10 as much as we enjoyed compiling it.

Germany's Ninetoes is back for his third EP in three years on Moon Harbour, and once again proves why he is one of the most essential talents in tech house. Label boss Matthias Tanzmann plus Harvard Bass also step up to remix one track each.
Releasing on Kling Klong and Play It Down, the man born Özgür Yelmen has achieved plenty since emerging in 2013. As well as putting out the likes of 'Finder', which went on to become one of the most Shazamed tracks in Ibiza, his hip hop influenced sound last year gave rise to the Bonita EP on this label. Played far and wide by taste making headline DJs, this latest offering is another subtle evolution of his sound.
It is the dry and stripped back 'Be' that opens the EP in fluid and infectious style. Weaving together hurried drums, intricate percussion and fluttering snares, the track is restless and super groovy and one to get you into a state of hypnosis.
Matthias Tanzmann steps up to remix and makes the drums bigger and more airy, with rolling snares and watery sounds percolating up through the mix. It's pure dancing music that has an irresistible tech-funk to it.
Ninetoes's second cut is 'Stand Up', another paired down and warm track with soft drums and shakers. It's atmospheric and heady for more cosy and late-night dance floors, with a heated chord progression dancing up top to bring colour and energy to the groove.
Mexican-American bad-boy Victor 'Harvard Bass' mixes up the raw appeal of American booty with the style and function of European beats. He flips the track into something with splashes of cymbals and vocal stabs that amp up the energy levels. Filled with tension and pressure that never releases, it's a fresh way to round out a varied EP of forward thinking house music.

Monaberry’s label boss, good old Herb, is back in business. The House multi-talent curates the latest Mona compilation – Herberts Best #8. Famous Monaberry artists and new faces from all over the world follow his call and deliver exquisite productions to grandpa Herbert.

Tim Engelhardt’s contribution “Skin” is a deep hitting symphony of a cineastic atmosphere, rolling drums, crystal clear luminescent synths and captivating arpeggios. Mi.li.an’s vocals enchantingly highlight the track’s vibrant beat and the analog drive finally flows into bubbly extasy.

Just right after the release of his latest track on Monaberry Sobek pleases grandpa Herbert with “Camerlengo” – a gently evolving and hypnotically dragging track with some smacking groove that wraps around the floating framework and tickles your senses all at once.

Armonica, the charismatic duo from the dephts of Italy, put a mad peaktime track on the table. “Time” is just bursting with slightly dark synths and FXs. The energizing bass line and the vocals reduced to the essentials are literally pushing this track onto the global stage.

Another track is delivered by Sonic Future from Porto Alegre, Brazil. His artwork “Pontilismo” is full of vigorous rhythm, crisp synth variations and minimal 80ies flair that will knock your socks off. Especially the filter modulated chords carry you away to Alpha Centauri and fuse together with the beat into an embracing sound.

Luis Junior brings “Go Gech” into play, a rotating Detroit UFO made of technoid ruthlessness and deep groove. He successfully blends dramatic synth chords, vocal snippets, and striking FXs into a continuous storyboard with a break that will make your endorphins dance and pleases with a lovingly staged happy end.



Italian stallion Ivan Masa uses Afro House elements and sprinkles some melodic parts and softly playful groove to build the sound frame of “Nativity”. Dense spaces and percussions merge into an ethno inspired work of art that will flow straight into your body and soul.

Ikarius & Dhakka join with “Salvation”, a hypnotic production that catapults the audience into a next dimension with opulent synth chords and effects, crunchy claps and subtle toms. The track composition is indeed psychedelic and a powerful tool.

Ultimately, a compilation like this can only be brought into being by good old Herb himself. We bow to his wisdom and cannot wait for these seven gorgeous pieces.

The EP begins with title track Out There , a swelling house cut that merges rolling percussion with funky disco licks, before a heavily delayed vocal calls out to the dancefloor in the breakdown. Driving congas and shuffling hi-hats create a funky peak time track that shows off Ben's big room sensitivities. On the B-side comes What is Love , a long-awaited and enigmatic house cut that rounds off the release in style. Deep pads swell and ebb, while Ben's signature minimal percussion bleeps and glitches with funk and swing.

Legotek's first LP is brought to you by Tel Aviv based Dot. Imagine one of those special sets. The kind of musical story that sticks in your mind for ages, you always remember and in times can scoop endless seeming power from. Well this 8-tracker from Dot just about fulfils this kind of stimulus. Each track can be seen either as one special individual or the whole package as one big flowing journey. Mixed together this could easily turn out as a live set. Now then, about the unique music and its seductive vibe. Staying true to the underground heart of Legotek Dot has managed what many aim for in effort. A vibrant, lively and deep sound constantly accompanied by strong kicks and pumping melodies. The analogue core of the story has been given the breath of life to become a classic piece of deep house history.

Avgusto presents us 3 massively driven originals, perfect for the peaktime.

Another Secret relies on a stomping kick-sub-groove, alerting synth stabs, and eponymous vocals.

I Had a Vision combines similar ingredients but takes us towards a more spacy direction.

Tham, regular at Berlin’s much-loved Griessmühle, delivers an EBM-influenced remix.

Finally, Ad Eternum is a toolish and super-functional closure of the pack.

After a little break, Questo is back with No. 007 - first time not only on vinyl. Protagonist of the - Dub Ass EP is Berlin-based and good old friend BEE LINCOLN, who makes noise these days with his label as usual.music! Two rumbling originals getting completed with an excellent pack of remixes by Ukrainin guys OUTSTRIP and label head FRANCCESCO BALLATO!

- Dub Ass in its original mix is nothing less than a bassy rave monster, which appears occasionally at the peak time in the center of the floor and eats you. Definitely it's the kind of unexpectable and not usual track, but the power of the synth bass has a taste of apocalypse. Furthermore on the A side is the reinterpretation by Mr. Questo Francesco Ballato, who strips down the elements and comes up with a groovin' minimal techno remix. Taking the bass stabs and setting up effectively in combination with the tuned percussions, creates a subtle driven piece which is extraordinarily worthful playing/dancing it.



The B-Side features at first Bee's original - Consciousness , which is grounded on a warm drifting bassline. Sneaky synth cuts are directing it to the question ‚What is conciousness' and gains a higher state of meaning. A divine female voice is trying to give an answer and leads into suspensful chords. The guys of Outstrip are masterminds of contemporary groovin techhouse and minimal stuff. They recently released on labels like Dogmatik Rec., Fantatstic Friends, Lapsus Music, Knee Deep In Sound, Antura or their very own vinyl imprint Outstrip Wax. So the remix is obviously made for the wax with a keen bassline and reduce the elements on its basic. Smartly giving it a deep touch, it gives the flawless part to have a rounded vinyl EP.

I am very happy to welcome the very nice guy Drumcomplex on my label. We met this year for the first time, but it clicked immediately. He is one of the hardest working and loveliest collegues for sure! This ep shows his variety in styles and already smashed the dancefloors in my sets! (Monika Kruse)

Unfortunately it took a bit of time to present here our third release, but luckily enough we are happy to show you now "We are Groove Cirqus EP". The duo from Italy brings three great tunes with enormous, nice rhythms on drums and percussion. "Semiprofessional musician" a smoot and deep track peppered with vocal shots, starts the EP followed by "U Better Hear" and "Think It Over". We needed a special, great remix, so we get Schallbox's owner Steve Cole who spend a phat and tight one, flavored with some synth sequences. We are sure these tracks will retune every mind and transform every dancefloor to a particular place.

Rainman EP is the first release of Iori Wakasa, our Japanese family member, on our label. He is a well known artist in the electronic scene and just released on Highgrade Records and SAW Records his last works. Rainman comes with an impulsive beat full of clear hi hats, paddy kick drums and melodic atmosphere of charming. Second track - Take U Antarctica' is the opposite of Rainman. Deep waves leads through the whole track, dark and tight drums and hi hats round it off.Neverm!nd the German duo from Berlin flavoured the remix with their own touch and Yosa a good friend of Iori put all his energy for creating his kind of remix which is awesome too. We really love all four tracks and can say that Iori Wakasa, Neverm!nd and Yosa serve us a solid EP in the end for being a perfectly driven for the dancefloor.

Piros Record Label is releasing its second edition, in this ocation, a tribute to the great Chilean musician Jorge González (Los Updates)

The EP has three versions of the classic track from Los Updates It's Getting Late'. The record involves two legendary artists, Argenis Brito and Deadbeat, and two emergent, Neik with an awesome remix and Joye Mitarakis doing a cool collaboration with his mentor, Argenis Brito.

No doubt, a tribute to a great one and recognition of a deep appreciation.

The third chapter in the NómadaWhite series is here and, for this one, the Bogota-based band of brothers have decided to cross the pond in search of like-minded lovers of all things deep and dusty. That signature Hip-Hop- and Jazz-infused Nómada wobble, made in Europe this time.

Dug up from the deep end of the Polish party scene, Ugly Frankie demonstrates a particular penchant for vintage vocals and whirling woodwinds, delivering a well-rounded A-side with
'Don't Step' on warm-up duties, 'Jimmy' for peak time president and 'I Need To Dance' to round things up nicely. Let there be no mistake, Frankie sure does have a pretty side.

A true virtuoso on the keys, French miracle man Mangabey then comes in strong with 'Wooden Flowers' on the flip, dropping perhaps one of the most soulful and funky synth lines of the season. Continuing his steady streak with 'No Q' and 'Unless', it should come as no surprise that some of the man's most recent productions have been released by trusted astemakers like Apparel Music, Blaq Numbers and Toy Tonics.

Sometimes along the road you get the chance to cross paths with great people, artists whose music you used to adore and play in the first steps of the journey. We are very grateful that this happened to us recently with Johnny D who offered a wicked remix for "White Box" at the beginning of this year.



This time, the master is back with a truly exceptionnal original piece. MTL is your perfect small-medium sized club peaktime groover with a clear driving intention with a strong attitude, essentially resting upon a sick dirty grinding synth loop. Along the way the random digital glitches and almost aquatic FX take us through a curious landscape full of surprises. Finally, Martin Luther King's legendary speech "I have a dream", edited with elegance and subtlty, adds an extra layer of poise and solemnity to this beast of a track!

A sophisticated house sound with minimal influence marks this exclusive VINYL EP

In our first Basswalk Limited series release, we have the big pleasure to present you a fantastic vinyl from Sander Ellerman called Quartz EP, which includes two stunning remixes by Hansel! and Re Us & Rhythm Box. The first track Quartz is a superb minimalistic groove with a powerful low-end construction that builds an amazing vibe for a club night, enlighten by some subtle vocal phrases that helps getting into a true hypnotic vibe. The second track from A side is the Quartz remix from Re Us & Rhythm Box, which is a fantastic reconstruction with a classic house inclined groove, especially build up from the bass line, with a perfect combination of several percussive layers that articulates organically with the ambience elements in the backend. The B side stars with the second original by Sander, Laleii, which has a solid straight forward base with the inclusion of some ambience elements that constructs a fantastic hypnotic deep techno groove. The second track of this side includes Hansel! Remix of Laleii who gave this track a nice twist with the inclusion of some melodic elements like the bass line and the synth stabs in a beautiful blend of deep house elements and minimal sounds.

In December 2015 VICTOR RUIZ and I released our first collaboration - APOLLO EP. It was the beginning of a wondrous, passionate and inspiring journey. A journey of growth, friendship and artistic exchange. Victor and I are proud to present you APOLLO II - a testament to our love and dedication to TECHNO MUSIC.

Following our dubby vibes, this time is our friend from Slovenia, Alex Ranerro, as usual, no digital promotion and limited edition.

It's almost impossible to don't have a look at all the rising talents that surround us - and the guys of Jamahr are surely one of them. North Italy based, Mario and Jacopo joined forces back in 2008 and since then they've constantly put a lot of passion and dedication into their music, working under the alias of Jamahr. Noticed by Yaya a while ago, they've also attract the attention of the European scene with releases on Rich NxT's own 'NxT Records', Sleepless Musik and Kina Music to name a few. We're super happy to see that 'Chordelia' EP is finally set for an official release, which also features a remix by Diego Krause.

'Chordelia' it's an opening track that starts with a dry lowend part until swing drums jump in. The entire track insists on a fresh and racy synth line that perfectly fits with the groove.

Stepping up to tackle the original, with a club approach, Berlin's Diego Krause (Berg Audio, Salty Nuts) use some vocal loops and a some funky shot, enriching the groove and delivering a great version of 'Chordelia'.

On the B side, 'Brotherhood' is about the special synergy between these guys, exposing the contrast between the gentle pads against the electric scratchy synths. The groovy and rolling analog bassline finds an intense groove with whispered vocal shots drifting in and out of the mix.

Closing the affairs is 'Qaacker' where pulsating toms and hi hats encounter mystical long tailed pads and synths into a majestic and dreamy progression. The break is just magical and it's studded with glitched drums and percussions. Definitely the perfect track to complete an ashtonish EP.

5th EP of the French label Plaisir Records made by their new artist Max (Italy)!!

With this episode, Plaisir Records wants to dive into a shinier universe, with House music accents but still with their minimal touch.

With a real sense of discovering talent, Plaisir team makes Max (Italy) taking care of this new release. Massimo Pozzi used only analog sounds to increase the quality of his composition.

The main track, Aural Water, drives you directly to what this EP is about: sense of Groove, Melody and a perfect slightly touch of synths. The first break reveals little by little the melody that will pop into your head to never leave it. Then, you'll be catch by the beats and kicks and a new line of synth appears briefly from time to time to make the track even more efficient.

On side B, Doppia Personalità opens with its rhythm variations that moves all the way till the end. Punchy kicks, synth breaks and bassline's incursion are all this track is about.

Anidride Carbonica closes the EP and goes throught a more minimal mood. You may find it a bit calmer but that's a mirage as the groove slowly increase to explode after each break.

Here We go again with the fourth appointment of the well-know limited series marked by Re.Face.

This time it's up to the ukranian artist Peshka with his new highly performing dancefloor soundtrack - a musical message that goes from the very futuristic sensation of Mood to the hypnotic and cloudy progression of Zenit. Plus, a big shout-out to the artists, Vincetiulian and VENDi, which respectively worked on each track infusing their own interpretation. Taken in its entirety, Mood" is a four-tracks groovy land that let itself to be enjoyed as a caress perpetuating from the very first moment a flow of delicate sensations and remarkable quality.

The third offering from Infinite Juju, 'CULT CURRY', pairs Schematic recording artist and sexual juggernaut, Joe Lentini (Philadelphia) with former Philadelphian techno mainstay SomeOne Else (Little Helpers/Tuning Spork/Get Physical, the list goes on...).  The original is an elegant and percolating strut with minor pads and and morphing arpeggios whilst SomeOne Else's mellow 4/4 take gives it an urgent twist.

Stepan Chernov aka Kammerton releases our third release for Depiction with a two track EP and a remix from Bobby O'Donnell resident DJ at System at The Mint Club in leads. Both tracks from Kammerton really take a journey through dubby minimal with a Techno remix from Bobby.

We look forward to share with you RVLT03 as it illustrates a wider sound spectrum to our previous KONTAL releases. On-board we also invited our good friend Developer to handle the remix duties and deliver his own interpretation of Epigram.

Glue Music decides that wax is the way forward after a scheduled break with the previous release schedule being digital.
Glue's tangible music format will continue after Label owner Richard Seeley delivers his first vinyl release since 2007 on VVWI with the Maria EP 'Maria' an organic piano-laden house track with a moody, ominous, misleading filtered start which flourishes into a feel-good house track with compelling whispering vocals and layered chords. 'Got the Taste' zones in on the relentless groove with breathless vocal stabs and unforgiving deepness which conforms to a simplistic affable approach. Rounding up the EP is 'Maria' remixed by Berlin based Producer 'Beaner' The La Mission label head serves up a trippy off kilter-creation with a clever contrast to the original.

Having kicked off in 2016, Spanish imprint Clockpoets mark their third release courtesy of Freerotation's Steevio and the exceptional sounds of the Fairphone EP. Backed with a stunning remix from Clockpoets (Døob, Armie and Javi Green), it's a fitting representation of the label's penchant for stunning, intricate sonic-infused jams.

Indeed, anyone who's encountered the Spanish-based label with know that theirs is a philosophy that's passionately indebted and dedicated to all things hardware. As such, live act extraordinaire Steevio is nothing if not an apt choice here. Each of Steevio's tracks was recorded in real time and s 100% improvised on a Eurorack modular synth and Moog Voyager. If you're a fan of intricate, out-there electronica that moves your soul and mind, you'll likely consider this one an essential release.

Ben Rau has had a great start to 2018, successfully launching his new label META , and recently returning from his latest tour of Australia.

It is obvious Ben soaked up the sun drenched culture and musical inspirations down under, as his latest INKAL release "Systéme Solaire" showcases Ben's diversity in the studio, and a more melodic side to Ben's sound that perfectly balances musicality while maintaining underground credibility, amounting to what is arguably Ben's strongest work yet.
With multiple represses on each INKAL release so far, the momentum is building for Ben and INKAL004 will only serve to enhance his ever-burgeoning reputation as a purveyor of dancefloor-ready weapons.

The EP kicks off with the title-track A-side "Systémes Solaire", a track which displays all the trademark influences Ben Rau has become synonymous for , as expert drum programming glitchy percussion and a rolling funk bassline combine to provide the groove.

"Systéme Solaire" has hooky elements in abundance, as a combination of chord work and constantly evolving synths team up to create a memorable, peak-time bomb. The B-side, "Expand", continues in the same vein, as a short, bubbling bass stab drives the track forward and modulates to provide an acid vibe, joined again by luscious piano chords and licks and the Expand' vocal, which switches up from a whispering atmospheric to a heavily effected, pitched tone that keeps interest throughout. All the while accentuated by fractured groovy percussion, piano licks and open hats that shine over the whole track.

Seba&Emile deliver as stunning three track debut as the 5th release on Ben Rau's META imprint.

UK based newcomers Seba&Emile are part of META artist Josh Baker's You&Me crew ,
as residents for arguably one of Manchester's best loved parties they have been honing their craft as DJ's in the booth and now as producers in the studio.
With their first release they have already managed to develop a very distinctive production style consisting of bouncing basslines detailed drum fills and catchy hooks that will undoubtedly win over the most discerning dancefloors.

Manuel Tur & Adrian Hoffmann aka Clavis met at high school almost 20 years ago, they only joined forces in 2015 to release their first EP called "Banza" on Jimpster's Freerange Records, followed by the "Alcine EP" in 2016. Their first ever remix for andhim just came out while their ‚Circino EP' will be the second release on André Hommen's These Eyes label.

'Circino EP' contains two modern deep house tracks, each with their own independent character. Title track 'Circino' is an intelligent production, stacking layers of digital synths over a polyrhythmic beat and a straight, sub-heavy bassline while 'Cucupha's Ring' on the B side comes right to the point from the first second with a steady 5/4 beat and its euphoric melodic progression.

The EP will drop on May 12 and will be available digitally and as limited 12 .

The fourth release on André Hommen's These Eyes imprint is coming from Tlak, the alter ego of Croatian-born and Danish-based Denis Horvat.

Horvat made a lot noise over the last few months with releases on labels such as Innervisions, Afterlife, Exit Strategy, Sum Over Histories and more. His studio set up is stacked with analogue gear, resulting in what he describes as the synthesizer techno' he makes. But - you will hear a difference between 'Denis Horvat' and 'Tlak' productions - as that's why he created his second alias.

EP's Title track 'Dispossessed' was first featured in Tim Sweeney's legendary Beats In Space show, where André Hommen did a guest-mix in August 2016. Since then, 'Dispossessed' received a massive "Track ID"-explosion on social media and even though it's a pretty dark production, it takes you on a special journey throughout the track with several electronic elements, where some might appear surprisingly. B-side Cristal is lightening it up again, which makes it to a matching EP.

The next release is brought to you by rising star Nolga. Nolga recently burst onto the scene with a sublime collaboration with UK's Michael James on the mighty Hoarder label. His sick minimal style has worked its way into the sets of many Romanian minimal artists such as Arapu and SIT. Fresh of the back of releases on RubIsco and Aesthetic, Nolga is shaping up to be the hottest new property in the underground scene. On remix duties we are delighted to welcome Silat Beksi who’s been a huge favourite of ours over the last few years. Finally Niko Maxen brings his signature rolling groove to round off the ep.

Deep Tech Records owner Duky joins forces with good friend Thomas A.S. to deliver something very strange and mysterious. Bodeler, Miro Pajic, and Danilo Schneider also contribute to the release as remixers to complete this very special vinyl EP.

For our next vinyl release we have the big pleasure of bring you to Hermanez, a more than talented producer that knew how to stay on top during the past few years with his amazing and rock solid productions. For his Basic Properties EP, he included three stunning tracks. The first one, carrying out the ep name, Basic Properties, starts with a subtle combination of percussive layers greatly articulated and mixed with some crazy synths in the backend, which also blends perfectly with the vocal phrases and the elaborated low-end, that finishes giving this track a beautiful minimalistic approach. For the B side we have Default first, a greatly found deep techno piece than immerses the listener into an amazing trippy vibe especially, because of the ambience synth in a triplet sequence that works as a great hypnotic element. The rest of the base elements are perfectly in place with each other as they slowly pops up, creating a beautiful progression driven by a more than groovy low-end. The second track from the B side, Nihilo, relies mostly on several percussion elements that creates a small riff that slowly creates a truly hypnotic vibe, especially when the ambience fxs appears to create a bit of tension too. The low-end is also constructed by percussive elements, giving this track a really groovy result and converting it into a great piece for the dance floor.

Few of our friends have been working with us since day one so it is with great pride and emotion that we welcome our "very fantastic" friend Dachshund back on the label. The Geneva artist graces us with two originals that we simply had to feature on our Limited catalog.

"Dream" is a nice bouncing shuffled groove with a hypnotic loopey character to it, smoothly arranged with scattered delayed vocals creating a clever yet slightly confusing "smokey" club atmosphere.



"Feel" is nothing short of a true masterpiece of electronic music. A "pizzicato" stripped-back dry beat and metallic modular sounding percussions take us on a mental and disconcerting trip. We litterally fell in love with this number - it's dark but not too dark and its insane synths and vocoders abruptly making appearances almost scared us at times: very entertaining! Perfect for the early hours of the morning, keeping the mind's attention and the hips in motion. Nothing is obvious, each role is interesting and perfectly executed. Thank you!

If you're up for some deep dope, deep dope is what you're gonna get. Guido Schneider & Daniel Dreier's Black Sheep EP is an elaborated, elegant and highly seductive three track piece. Incorporating fun and sassiness at a very high level without losing track of the essence of a club groove. The profundity residing in its title track results in the airiness of its composition while taking you easely on a journey to the underground. - Venus and - Issa are more poetic yet remaining extremely erratic and unexpected. Black Sheep EP's a delight you should try...

Label owner Jamie Trench is up this time with 3 cuts. The first offering is a basement ready low end monster with filtered and chopped vocals and an almost electric synth flittering around on the break. We are also hit with a dub version where the vocals stabs are dropped and the groove takes centre stage. The B side sees a track thats clearly been made to warm up the larger rooms with its depth and intricate drum work this won't disappoint.

After the last releases of M.in & Gunman on Cajual, Wow Recordings and Great Stuff, we are glad to welcome M.in together with his colleague Gunman on My Favourite Freaks.

These two tracks are timeless and perfect for the summer.

"The Voice" captivates with its cool vocals, a loose groove and a nice chord. This track brings a smile on everyone's face and awakens a summer feeling, which makes you want to dance imme-diately.

"The Groove" focuses on a strong groove and bongo samples but of course that's not enough. As a surprise, the track turns into its main part in a Monster, which lures everyone with his cool synth on the dance floor.

Repit is the second release of Cuartero's most personal brand, Cuartero Concept. After 'Enderezado' launched past year, the producer is back with another outstanding production. This label is focused in spreading more minimalistic sounds in a limited vinyl series.

Cuartero launches limited vinyl series on own new label: CUARTERO CONCEPT

Established techno tastemaker Cuartero is to kick off his own brand new label, CUARTERO CONCEPT. It will be a vinyl-only affair that showcases the artist's more underground side. Next to material from the Spanish DJ and producer, there will be choice remixes from key heavyweight techno names. The first release comes by him, with a remix from Cocodrils, and features two essential tracks due out on November.

Cuartero is one of his country's hottest exports right now thanks to his infectious DJ and production style, essential tunes and enthralling sets. Releasing on Desolat, Hot Creations, VIVa Music, Moon Harbour and Knee Deep In Sound, he really knows how to cook up the sort of grooves that both DJs and dancers love. With this new project, though, he is showing his more considered side and is sure to imprint his underground sounds.

The excellent Enderezado is first and is a suspense-filled track which builds the tension before unleashing a driving drum line. Freaky sounds, loose synths and chopped up vocals are laid over the top and it makes for an infectious and silky groove that is brilliantly busy.

Cocodrils then remixes the track into a more peak time tune with rubbery drums, panning percussion and rattling snares. Corse claps, clever bass kills and a distant siren all add to the intensity and ensure this one will make a big impact on the floor.

This is a fine first releases and kicks off what is sure to be a great new label in real style.
