Label boss of In Haus Wax & self titled TIJN Label, both vinyl only outlets, & Digital Label Deep Edition Recordings, UK-born TIJN has been making house records since 2007 as Martijn but more recently as TIJN taking a more direct analog approach in the studio. Recently he has dropped a string of releases on labels such as Overall Music LTD Isgud Records & WORX topping vinyl buzz charts . 2014 saw TIJN start his own eponymous label, with the first vinyl-only 12" release featuring French master Djebali, being played by the Francophone-trio Apollonia also gaining support along the from Tuccillo, Ryan Elliot and DJ W!ld. An ccomplished producer as well as DJ, TIJN has played alongside renowned selectors like Steffi, Jordan Peak, Sossa and Dyed Soundorom, playing his own particular take on house and techno.

Originally initiated due to its 10th anniversary in four parts throughout the year 2015, Kittball Records now continues the limited vinyl series each quarter as a Best of Kittball' special edition reflecting its most successful tracks within the past period. Having the inside tips from January till March on the spotlight, the first edition in 2016 includes originals by Demarzo with a track from his debut EP and P.A.C.O.'s Beatport-charting collaboration with Return of the Jaded on the A-side. The Square and Compasses (or, more correctly, a square and a set of compasses joined together) is the single most identifiable symbol of Freemasonry. Both the square and compasses are architect's tools and are used in Masonic ritual as emblems to teach symbolic lessons. Some Lodges and rituals explain these symbols as lessons in conduct: for example, Duncan's Masonic Monitor of 1866 explains them as: "The square, to square our actions, The compasses, to circumscribe and keep us within bounds with all mankind". However, as Freemasonry is non-dogmatic, there is no general interpretation for these symbols (or any Masonic symbol) that is used by Freemasonry as a whole.

Fabian Winkels and Ben Balance's Ho Do Ri project has been responsible for some of the best minimal house workouts of the last two years. Hopes are naturally high, then, for this first appearance on Mariano Mateljan's Split-based u.dig imprint. Happily, they hit the ground running with A-side "Fu Giunta 007", where fluttering, dream house style synth melodies and becalmed ambient chords wind their way around a chunky, bass-heavy tech-house groove rich in bustling bass and outer-space electronics. Welsh producer Kye has been producing for some time now, and has built a solid reputation for himself through playing out and running Dogruff with a group of likeminded friends - which has seen the likes of Barac, Rossko, Praslea and many other selectors work the crowd.

'Hopscotch Days EP' is both Kye's debut solo release, as well as being the first time his music has featured on wax - and features remixes from Rowlanz (RLZ Music) and IULY.B (Infuse/Visionquest).

After serving up some killer original tracks from Obrotka, Abstract Music now enlists the services
of Nikola Gala and Jay Bliss to rework one of the standout cuts. The results, invariably, are
excellent.

Obotka has been active since the 90s, has played almost every decent club in the world and
because of his excellent discography taking in labels like Underground Records, Abstract Music
and Wasabi is a revered part of the global dance community.

First to remix his 'Who Needs Enemies' cut is Romanian 2020 Vision and All Inn records
associate Jay Bliss. He flips the track into a deep, rubbery house groover with muted neon
chords & crisp percussion. It's a no nonsense affair with infectious and icy hi hats that really get
under your skin.

Next up, Nikola Gala is a prolific producer whose impeccably produced tracks have become big
releases for Ibadan Records, Rekids, Freerange Records and Plastic City. He serves up two
remixes, the first of which is a Dubby Mix of 'Who Needs Enemies.' Stripping things back to an
essential, locked on groove, hunched drums, rolling hits and frazzled synth lines all make for a
seductive track that is warm and organic in all the right ways.

Finally, Gala turns out a Techy Mix of the same track that is much quicker, more urgent and
banging. Metallic chords, grinding bass and indecipherable vocal cries all characterise this more
physical version and it will bang in clubs as a result.

All three remixes here offer something slightly different, but something equally essential, for all
the real DJs out there.

Romanian up-and-comer Cosmjn (Cosmin Nastasa) with his latest Organik EP, is scheduled next at Naural Label .

Side A starts with Aster Ix, a track with simple percussion and a hard, yet smooth, bassline. The continuous pad and the occasionally sparky chords make 'Aster Ix' the perfect combination for an 8-minute track designed to keep you up. This 12-minute vinyl flaunts on the same side 'Twisted', which takes the darker side of the producer one step further. The dark track, 'Twisted', boldly surprises you with the trippy sequences of its repetitive vocals.

Side B is represented by the most complex track of the EP: 'Organik'"- a track playing with a natural groove as well as acoustic-based elements. It's a 15-minute journey with spacey and atmospheric-drone sounds that takes you far away while listening.

Finefood records and Benjamin Fehr are doing it again! One of the most talented producers of our time, teams up with the Swiss label in true techno tradition. This tightly controlled production is purposely built to enhance the dance floor with masterful, artful soundscaping. A tech hit if ever there was one. The first remix is produced by the talented Argentine artist Hernan Bass for the Swiss label, Finefood Records, he has done an amazing job. After stripping the track down to it's bare essentials, he kept the underlying tones and transformed the track into a more percussive melodic track, which any self respecting Dj would love to play. German mix-master Benjamin Fehr partners up with Alien Visa for this 7th production on Swiss label Finefood records. Growling and menacing, this duo reveal a dark side to the dance floor which can drive any electronic music enthusiast into fervor. Saccaded baselines reveal their talent. Thomas T and Anish are back again, collaborating with their favourite Swiss record label in this translation of Benjamin Fehr's Alien Visa original track remix. Nothing is lost in this translation, on the contrary, a 3rd dimension is added, transforming this track into true techno, spoken by all.

The third release on this imprint is an EP from a fresh talent from Bucharest called Lixir. The EP starts with ''Sunshine'' which is a melodic track, nice soundtrack to the after. It then continues with ''Fleut en Scarlett'' referring to both the flute in the track and the soundcard used during the production of the track. The B side starts with a nice counterpart to the light tracks on the A side in the form of the more heavy and straighforward ''Cleptoman''. To top off the release COSMJN made quite a spheric and spacey remix of ''Cleptoman''. NIMMA003 is played by Barac and Suciu.

Nandu returns with full force on OFF Recordings with Glömde, a high strung melodic techno cut consisting of one original track and two revamps.

Rolling into a broad groove from the get-go, Glömde is a tightly knit Tech House banger that brings together firm percussion and melodic synth thrusts. Singer Tyra's delicate vocals, at times whispered, add an extra layer of harmonies, making the track even more compact and entrancing.

Netherlander techno craftsman Love Over Entropy delivers a spellbinding remix, stripping down most of the original elements and reverting the focus onto the percussive backbone. Seemingly straightforward, LOE reconstructs the initial groove, rebuilding it up with industrial details and a raw,
ample sound esthetic.

An artisan of deep house reworks, Manoo explores Glömde's house appeal. Kicking off with a tribal percussion lead that stays centered throughout the cut, Manoo's remix brings out the track's versatility and plays on its spaciousness.

House hit makers MOTHER RECORDINGS are back with another tight two track package. This one comes from the label boss NHAN SOLO, a real house talent with plenty of great singles and EPs in his back catalogue, most often on his own great label.

Opening the release is SHOW ME LOVE, a deep and groovy number with nice piano chords rolling over slick house groove. Power female vocal add fuel and emotion to the fire and the whole thing really casts a spell on you.

BROTHERS KEEPERS is on the flip and is another kicking house tune with sleek metallic drums, great percussive tension with smart kills and filters, and clipped vocals that inject real warmth and soul. Both cuts carry on in this Berlin based producer's fine tradition and are sure to get plenty of dance floors on their toes in the coming months.

miNIMMAl movement continues the Romanian vibes on it's fourth release with two solid tracks from Oprea Timpu on the A side. On the B side there is a spaced out remix from the Dutch Roger Gerressen who's from the same city as the label itsself.

Having sprinkled her magic on 'Herbert's Finest 06' earlier this year, one of techno's most distinctive vibe evangelists returns to the Monaberry family fold for her first full label release: Bebetta.

Monabetta: it's the perfect match... Like Monaberry's output, Bebetta's joyous unpredictability ensures a blindfold ride into sensory abandon with not so much as a whiff of preconceptions, formula or rigidity.

'Uppercut' is less of a punch and more a slo-mo disco karate chop where stars and rainbows appear on impact. The uncompromised kicks and thwacking eight-bar snare snap your senses while the pensive one note riff, bulbous bass and cosmic synth weaves gradually climax into a Detroitian piano-smashing riff so evocative you could just lose your shoes.

'Shimmy' brings to mind oceanic ripples, which swell progressively and a timeless arpeggio, which ebbs, flows and occasionally bursts into full bodied bass before breaking out into an illustrious build where ghostly vocals mirror the sea's glimmers in an agelessly classic way.

Remix-wise Monabetta is packing equally serious heat: Viktor Talking Machine play the quintessential Street Fighters with an 'Uppercut' version that pummels with a juicy 808 and a short sharp break into the heavenly piano hook. German Brigante flips the switch on 'Shimmy', too, twisting our focus on the creepy crawly bass and pure epicity of the chords. Finally Lowertones bossman Leix adds a softer focus to 'Uppercut's emotional narrative and more of a jacking swing to the drums for a shorter, subtler journey.

Following 2014's 'XURE' EP, Dutch producer Doka returns to FORMAT with a fresh four-track release including a remix by fellow techno luminaries TWR72.Carved out of no-nonsense techno grooves, the EP is another prima example of FORMAT's trademark: bold, stripped-down techno designed for peak-time clubbing moments. The title track blends in classic Detroit synths to powerful Tresor-style grooves, after which TWR72 give it a playfully experimental makeover. 'Lommer' throws in a pitch-black cut that's heavy on the bass while cleverly mixing in progressive house elements, while 'Dam' closes things by adding a lovely hypnotic twist to this release's content.
There's no denying: this eighth FORMAT release has all the ingredients to ignite some serious floor carnage...

Out with their third EP of 2016, this August Monkey Safari will release 'Boris,' with remixes by Guy Mantzur and Victor Ruiz, showing the world once again that these guys aren't messing around. 'Boris' is the follow up to their successful mega-EP, 'Bernstein,' released in June, with remixes by John Digweed & Nick Muir and UNER. Their next four-track EP shows the brothers' more serious, grownup side, taking new risks with no vocals, utilizing empty spaces and slower buildups. 'Boris'  showcases proper club music: dark and sweaty Tech House with a hypnotic twist. 

In the first track of the EP, self-titled "Boris," Sven and Lars go even deeper into their trance trajectory bridging on the darker side of Techno. The second track, "Dodge," takes listeners on a mystical journey playing with deep ambient sounds and a drop that makes your heart speed up. Tel Aviv-based producer Guy Mantzur (Kompakt / Bedrock / Diynamic) drops his hypnotic and seductive remix of "Boris," impossible not to get lost in. Additionally, Brazilian producer Victor Ruiz's up-beat and complex remix of "Dodge" is not to be missed. The second release on Infidel Bodies has as its protagonist "Le Moderniste"
For his debut on the italian label, he produced an album industrial / rhythmic noise, a tribute to some legends of noise music such as: Marco Corbelli (Atrax Morgue), Maurizio Bianchi, Tairy Ceron (Today I'm dead), Rozz Williams.
This album is an evocation to sacrality and mysterious fascination of death. The artist radicalizes his sound in this release, getting the result: "a strong work, dark, dirty, it smells death and filth" (Le Moderniste)
This special edition provides a particular package composed of two bags stapled with inside: transparent cassette c60 pro-dubbed, artworks (by Paul van Trigt), hand-sewn insert, black nitrile gloves.

Coming up next on FORMAT is a new EP from the label's head honcho Juan Sanchez including remixes by Jeroen Search and Andre Kronert. The Diffy EP marks Juan's first FORMAT EP released under his own name, and it's definitely one that will turn heads on the floor. The original version of 'Diffy' and 'Mirage' reflect Juan's trademarked minimal but hard-as-nails techno sound: staccato kicks, nervously rattling percussions and looped synth pulses make up the fundaments of both tracks, locking in all ingredients for proper techno clubbing.Up first on the remix tip is renowned techno veteran Jeroen Search, whose remix of 'Diffy' is a chunky piece of stripped floor funk with subtle hints of Detroit techno. This was exactly around the time Edge of Motion first made their mark on electronic music. Even now, decades after they first burst on the scene, seminal tracks like Set Up 707 and albums like Planet Gong Realities and Ad Hoc are still frequently played by techno's most revered selectors.

With the techno scene broadening its scope again in recent years - also embracing more experimental forms of electronic music like ambient and electronica - it was time for an Edge of Motion comeback, Dylan Hermelijn and Gertjan Schonewille agreed.

Firmly rooted in the radical 90's, but with twenty more years of production skills under their belt and a keen ear for contemporary Techno and ambient, they're once again paving the way for innovative electronic music.

In 2016, they start their EOM (vinyl only) label as an under the radar side project, just a cool platform for them to put out some of their most outrageous material. But since the first few releases stirred up quite a storm, they've now also agreed on doing a few
live shows. But only the shows where they can be all across the board. It's the love of experimental techno that has brought them
together after all and they'd like to keep that spirit alive.

With Liam Peete's techno project FAC3OFF Break New Soil labelowner Gregor Tresher will again meet the taste of all lovers of banging bigroom techno monsters. While the basic vibe always remains dark the Trapez artists always finds ways to stick in some additional harmonies and vocal snippets to make that extra difference.

While the original album 'Quiet Distortion still resonates on dance floors around the world, we are more than happy to present to you a wonderful and versatile remix package of select album tracks. We believe the lineup of remixers really speaks for itself:

First up we have Nicole Moudaber, who has established a notable presence amongst the elite techno elite. Nicole transforms the title track of the album to an epic 10 minute journey that - dropped at the right moment of the night - will definitely let the magic happen.

Next up we have Wigbert, hailing from Offenbach in Germany and releasing on Dubfire´s Sci+Tec and Carlo Lio´s Rawthentic, who also reworked the title track. Wigbert builds his version around the original strings to create a dense remix that explodes in a monstrous breakdown!

Third on the lineup we have Jewel Kid from Malta, who just recently released a stunning EP on our little label and who delivers the bigroom mix on this package, twisting the original melodies to an apocalyptic dance floor destroyer.

Soma artists Gemini Voice Archive have been a mainstay in Gregor´s DJ-sets for the past year with their distinctive and unique hypnotic sound - another perfect match for this remix package - they picked Safehouse and boy, did they deliver!

If you are into the type of techno-infused house beats that drive dancefloors crazy, there's very little chance that you haven't yet heard of Jay Lumen, one of the most prolific tech-house producers in today's scene. Having recently remixed Green Velvet's "Bigger Than Prince" and with releases in some of the most notorious labels around including a previous EP in OFF, we had to have him back for another exquisite pair of tracks in our beloved OFFSPIN eclectic series.

It doesn't get any groovier than "Dusty Memories", the first track in the EP is a dancefloor burner, with a swinged house beat, a huge bassline and a very catchy vocal work. Stabs and intensive tension throughout the breakdowns plus very well crafted arrangements blend together for a sure hit.

Things get darker on "Empty Ghetto Bastard" and indeed, its a journey into the ghetto with heavy drum hits, rap scattered vocals, big synth stabs and a jacking drum pattern to drive everyone insane. This one is truly oriented to the clubs while, as always, gathering all the melodic ingredients to keep the energy flowing.

Berlin-based DISTALE is a very versatile DJ and producer. He released already on labels like Clap Your Hands, RRYgular and Wall Music. His debut EP on Paso Music is a musical journey from melodic techno to prime time sound, ending up in minimal dub music. You can be sure that these tracks will tear up the dance floors all over.

Rising Manchester born producers Mason Collective and TeeFunk deliver the third release on The Mekanism's vinyl only imprint Worx.

Mason Collective are a three-strong alliance of DJs and producers who have recently been drawing attention in the underground music scene for their explosive DJ sets and their highly renowned MVSON events.

TeeFunk, Mason Collective affiliate, is a young experienced producer on the verge of gaining the spotlight for his distinctive sound and versatility.

Rooted Series is back with a really fresh V/A ready for rock the dance floors.

This time starts with label mate Dakpa (Rooted/Sukhumvit) who brings a really rolling house track with great ambiances. A2 comes with In Haus Wax label boss TIJN with a minimal chords house with great senses. B side arrives with our partner Rickzor who builded a great old school house track full of groove. The release ends with label boss Bolumar who brings another old school house feeling track.

Jesus Was Black goes to Chile thanks to the new vinyl release by the hand of producer Andre Butano & Felipe. Push Cat EP, the artists first release for the label, is a refreshing fusion of the organic beats and the avant-garde music.
The title track brings on an underground micro house essence with a thick bass rhythm and crazy voices. The EP features two cold remixes from the spanish talent Jairo Catelo (Darkroom Dubs, Plastic City) with his bubbling synths and house rhythms making a master deep piece.
Jorge Savoretti (Viva Music, Little Helpers) make it with hypnotic broken beats and maintains the deep feel that brought him to Jesus Was Black. Closing the Ep we can find an awesome original track like "Rework" with vinyl popping accents and a couple of vocal hooks, a track to make everyone sweat on the dance floor.

I'm a fan of the duo from Northern Ireland for a long time and was already really happy that they remixed our Kydus release last year on Terminal M. And now I'm even happier to have the possibility to release 4 originals from Loco & Jam. The reactions I get on the title track 'Argentina' which I used in my Essential Mix on BBC Radio 1 are more than crazy. (Monika Kruse)

After last Autumn's 'Knowledge EP', Héctor Oaks returns to KEY Vinyl with four more solid dancefloor fillers of the kind we're starting to expect from the Berlin-based upstart. Now several records deep and with his fourth Berghain set firmly behind him, these days his sound is about as honed and gratifying as skills from the booth. And 'Kepler 186f' is the proof.

On the A-side Dissolve' sets its sinews to march on this taut, tough and punchy number. Radial Clicles' then reins in the muscle a bit in favour of a more skulking, spectral slow-build. Meanwhile on the B-side, Stone Storage' sends cool cymbals and crunchy hats on a sinuous, calculated romp. Leaving Avoid Reality' to close in noisy, bombastic fashion. After 20 years as a dj and several releases on labels just like Anthony Rother´s Datapunk, Dave Clarke´s Whitenoise or co-labs with Gez Varley from LFO, Frank Kusserow took a longer break from the active electronic music scene. In the meantime he produced tons of new tracks that result in his new and vinyl only imprint Sprow Recordings. The name Sprow comes from his career as a BMX professional in the early 80´s and the logo of the label was created in that time also. Herewith he fulfills his long term dream to start a record label, where he only decides about the musical output. The labels philosophy is to always feature different styles on each release, from straight Techno to Acid, Dub, Detroit and more electro influenced or melodic stuff.

The first release "Mind the Acid EP" includes 3 tracks. "Mind the Acid" on the A-Side is a straight forward and epic acid stomper. "Altered States" on B1 is a hypnotic, more melodic piece of techno and "Dub Reason Pt.1" closes the EP with more dubby and quiet vibes. Stay tuned for more releases coming soon on Sprow Recordings.

Young Bordeaux-based producer Leon Revol found support from the likes of Move D with his 2016 debut EP for Monologues Records 'Clear Definition'. Following releases on Secret Reels and Future Disco, he returns with another stunning collection of tracks that are considerably beyond his years. 'Pink Coffee' and 'Sun Is The Place' see him work pleasingly warm synth lines over organic percussion, 'Embers' channels more sunshine with its summery guitar licks and 'Birds' shows his depth wth a non-dancefloor workout reminiscent of Floating Points.

Ambassador of dark, driving techno Nicole Moudaber, has teamed up with Skin, the multi-talented Skunk Anansie front-woman, established DJ and fashion icon, for a collaborative EP entitled 'Breed'. Two legendary artists in their own right, Moudaber and Skin have brought together cutting-edge creative and visual aesthetics to ensure Breed is an assault on the senses. The exceptional song writing and performance abilities of Skin married with Moudaber's production finesse both point to Breed being one of the most celebrated conceptual projects in techno. 'Breed' is dropping on September 18th and is available exclusively on Beatport for two weeks via Nicole's own imprint MOOD records.

On lead single 'Someone Like You', which will be released as a double single alongside 'You Like This' on August 31st, the pair immediately display the production and performance talents they're renowned for. Skin's inimitable vocals sit perfectly over Nicole's trademark dark and brooding techno beats. The jazz elements, basses, redoubles immured in delay and marked hit hat, combine this magical scene, where I begin a guttural chorus guided by the repeating melody of wind pendants (feng shui). And at the half of this sound picture, a powerful kick gives the perfect ending to this composition.... A magical moment.

The minimal sound floods Magico' with a filmic remix of the great RADIQ aka Yoshihiro HANNO. A permanent groove that doesn't
stop liberating energy, a sharp kick joined by a melodious organ, accompanies a sudden flow and subtle vocal breaths in a perfect conclusion... where the passive notes enter with the choir of monks calling to the sky. It's a beautiful minimal scene of a remix film of Radiq.

After his last release Échec et Mat', discerning aficionados can rejoice about the release of two original tracks as well as two remixes. One of the strong points of this EP is undoubtedly the remix from Berlin duo Soukie & Windish, that brings a particular substance to the Divine' track. For his first of a 4 track release on Swiss label, Finefood Records, Greg Shepherd remains true to himself and confirms his status as an architect of emotions. He defines form and space with a solid rhythmic base, cementing the layers of this original track with acid & colourful synth tones. Die A Seite schmückt Sinus mit seinen 2 Tracks - Torture Me'(offizieller Soundtrack des - Grüne Sonne Festivals' 2014) und - Dachkammer'. Beide sind definiert durch Vielseitigkeit, einer deepen Atmosphäre und einem stetigen Groove. Auf der B Seite tobt sich Rafner mit seiner Nummer - Nordwind' aus. Boutique Polish vinyl imprint Astropical Tapes returns for a second outing following the widespread acclaim of Astro Buhloone's inaugural effort Forever with an EP from label boss, Marcin Krupa.

Spa House is named after Krupa's hometown Konstancin-Jeziorna, which is a historic spa resort on the outer reaches of Warsaw's administrative area. The EP is a fittingly soothing affair, from the resplendent strings and vocal harmonies that adorn the rolling title track to the loose, early morning mellowness of Jeziorna. Remixes of the latter come from Universo, who opts for a distorted, acid-licked melodic version, and Studio Barnhus signing Naphta, who chops up a broken beat and woozy chords to discordant effect.
