Originally from Ireland, now living in Toronto, producer and DJ, Neil Mooney, aka Throwin Shapes, developed his wide-ranging sound by immersing himself in Toronto's diverse underground music scene for the last 10 years. Having deejayed at some of the city's most forward-thinking music events, Mooney has now focused his attention on production. Over the eight songs on his debut album, with newly-started, vinyl-only label Religio, Throwin Shapes shows the full and eclectic range of his musical influences, from dub to deep house and acid to techno. Expansive yet intimate, banging while still soulful, percussive and melodic, Pembroke Session LP is music for the late night.

All night long: With its stripped-down kicks, crisp hi-hats, warm keys and plump bassline, this is classic deep house. You'll be mesmerized by the sultry voice intoning you to stay 'all night long.'

Diving Bell: True to its name, this tune is like a transmission from the depths. The chunky bassline, staccato hi-hats and ethereal pads mix to create an atmospheric and abstract late-night vibe. Don't sleep on this one if you're a fan of Keith Worthy, Patrice Scott or quality Detroit house.

Dub flight: Get on board for a slow and absorbing trip to echolandia. This is dreamy dub techno. Generous use of heavy delay on the timbale gives the track a post-carnival after-party feel.

Exercises in Alchemy: Building steadily from a minimal 4/4 beat to a mass of swirling pads and swishy chords, guaranteed to keep any 5 am dancefloor busy. We're talking a good kind of black magic here.

Give it socks: With a future-retro vibe, Give it Socks features a rolling 303 bassline, sharp percussion and a spacey overall texture that will indubitably inspire creative body movement.

Jigtime: This track combines a driving infectious bassline, offbeat percussion, woozy pads and a high-pitched layer of strings to create a sure-fire dancefloor killer!

Sven Tasnadi's 12 track long player All In will be released in spring 2015 and is a second full length statement
from one of the scene's most consistently on form producers.

Long time deep house and tech producer Sven, who hails from Leipzig, Germany, has been perfecting his own
seductive and atmospheric sound for almost a decade on labels like Cocoon, Smallville, Cargo Edition and of
course Moon Harbour. This album is his second after an electronica effort called Slow that featured more non
dance floor focussed tracks.

After my last album I wanted to make one for the dance floor,' says Sven. I had the idea only to produce pieces
that fit into my sets. I do not just like peak time, but also warm up beats, so I really wanted quieter pieces that you
can play at the appropriate time and that aren't too demanding. Hence the name All In... it is great for any time
and situation.'

The album is a cross-section of Sven's work from the last eight years style-wise, even though it was written in the
last six months using an Electron Octatrack, NI Maschine and Ableton. Things open up in deep and smoky dub
house fashion with 'Until The End' and then slowly build through the kinetic rubbery kicks of 'Silent Floors', the
bendy synths and curious melodies of 'No Laws' and the lazy, low-slung and lo-fi house funk of 'Sleeping Dogs.'
Cuts like 'Keep Rolling' with their rattling percussion and jazzy chords feel both musical but groove driven, 'I Like
You' proves Sven has a sample friendly playful side and then 'Clocks' gets a little more pumped up and bouncy
as the mid point arrives.

Wisely varying textures and tempos as he goes, 'Eighteen' then gets dark and deep, 'The Holy Grail' explores
more minimal sound design, 'This Girl' speaks of a classic house influence with its cleverly filtered vocals and oh
so nimble bass, then 'Rest' gets all spooky and syrupy with it ghostly coos and slithering rhythms. Closing down
the journeyed LP in style is the mystical and infectious 'Cosmic Flight' with its feathery drums and off kilter
melodies.

All in all this album is a complete and perfectly realised world that lays out Sven's trademark sounds in all their
glory. Deep and meaningful, danceable but equally as good just to listen to, All In is another fine success for both
artist and label.

Proving, that his previous summer tune wasn´t a one hit wonder and that he surely is one of the producers to watch in the future. And PWU wasn´t PWU if we didn´t find a talented young gun as a remixer. So we found him. Dan Grassler. A guy from munich who convinced us from the very beginning. And his remix AWESOME!

It's been a while since the two buddies Martin Eyerer and Chopstick worked together on some music after their big hits 'Electric' and 'Make My Day (Haunting)' back in 2006/2007. Only now the two labelfounders (Kling Klong and SUOL) found the time to get back behind the gear and finalize two great new tracks. Defected artist Sonny Fodera from London provided his typical slamming remix so it's all set for a great comeback for Eyerer & Chopstick.

Having recently reworked songs by Lana Del Rey or Booka Shade, the fast rising
collaboration of Andre Crom and Chi Thanh is no stranger to giving their dancefloor
treatment to some of the most respected artists of these days. Now indie pop
favourites Metronomy seek their magic touch to turn "Love Letters" into a house tune
with all the ingredients to create an epic vibe.

The vocals of the song, that gives name to Metronomy's 4th studio album, are turned
from its original psychodelic 70's rock form into a profound stab-driven deep house
jam, with a bouncy bassline and great synth progressions suitable both for radio
waves and groovy club enviroments

Its hard to think of dutch wonderboy Franky Rizardo without inmediately associating it with his massive contributions to the Defected catalogue or his broad spectrum of mainroom hits including collaborations and remixes work for some of the most important names in the game. This time he proves his versatil nature by submerging himself into a more underground vibe, the type we learned to love so much at OFF headquarters. We didn't take long to decide once we heard what he had in store for us, the tracks were loud, sexy and intense.

"A New Recreation" builds around an addictive r&b vocal while a driving bassline keeps the pace and a sexy xylophone type synth tells us summer is getting closer by the hour.

"Touch My Soul" has a deeper perspective with classic house chord stabs and another hypnotic vocal prancing around a massive drum machine groove.

Möd3rn is a global project from 3 wellknown artists who wanted to give a side project from their own solo career. It's a band, producing, playing live but it's also a label created only for the trio productions. Each releases will propose 3 tracks from the 3 artists. For that first one the famous trio propose 3 huges bombs Mö4, Mö5 and Mö6, 3 huge techno killer using rough skins with raw edit. Speech less and listen to that we can call Pure TEchno.
While carefully handling their respective careers, postponing then their obvious collaboration, Möd3rn trio's members have capitalized its desire and now deliver its mere substance, in the rightest moment, where, simply, all the distant forces converge.
The six daring, expert hands merge now into a unique entity, unanimously moving within the same effort towards techno music. Of the distinct identities merely remains the ethereal, synthetic essence devoted to the group, and the common musical passion that leads it. The formula is elaborated freely: each one's adjunctions -subtle keys, nervous chords, underground blows, rhythmical uproars- pour into a thick maelstrom, opaque, condensing Detroit's grieving sensibilities as well as last decade's bewildering cacophonies. The potion obtained is irresistible, an ecstatic hybrid, prodigiously actual, that renders all the genre's diversity and dynamism.
Chance intertwined their paths and now the three companions celebrate both the friendship that resulted and the good fortune that has driven it, by improvising live together as one faceless, solid body agitated by the urge of dance and music, composing the material that shall be processed later on to form their eponym label's releases.

Mulla blends old-school house and funky techno on Six Chapters, drawing inspiration from past musical experiences in his hometown of Amsterdam. Over the years, Mulla has become recognized for his residencies at prolific club-nights including Natives, Kreativ & De Nachtdivisie. Joppe Muller, aka Mulla, is also co-founder of the celebrated Nomads Festival, featuring legendary talents alongside local DJ heroes in the beautiful Dutch countryside each summer. Sofi De La Torre has a special charm, the sound of her voice inspires millions of thoughts and melodies and that was no exception for our star team composed by Andre Crom and Chi Thanh, a now steady force conquering the scene both with their original work and always hunting for fresh talent such as hers for their exciting dancefloor remakes. The beautiful and incredibly talented Spanish singer now living in berlin was kind enough to let our crew express their own interpretation of "Vermillion" (her new Single coming out in June) and as always, they turned it into another dancefloor essential full of warmth and deep feelings.

The song builds up with vibe synth stabs and horns that create a perfect atmosphere for the sweet vocals while a groovy bassline and housy drums add the perfect dance factor to the whole thing, all constructed with finesse and great taste. A true masterpiece that will sure ring in everyone's ears for a long time.

JD Samson & MEN - All The Way Thru (Andre Crom & Chi Thanh Remix)

A while ago, OFF Recordings head Andre Crom was captivated by "All The Way Thru", a single by Jd Samson's new project band "Men"; part of their second album and already receiving lots of praise from specialized media like Pitchfork.

So he got in touch with the former singer of electronic-punk act "Le Tigre", to see if it was possible to craft a club version of this pop-electronic anthem with catchy vocals and an indie feel. Luckily, everyone was thrilled with the idea, and it rapidly came to life.
Crom teamed up with OFF's latest core act signing Chi Thanh to create a modern yet classic feeling remix, which is a sure shot for the dancefloor with it's organ stabs and clever use of the epic vocal

Kruse & Nuernberg are without a doubt one of the most active duos in our core act roster and after being part of the 5 year anniversary EP and extensive tour while also releasing their work on Exploited and Rejected, we couldn't wait to deliver another pair of their trademark dancefloor weapons.

This ep is aimed straight for the prime time of discerning house club, starting with "Boom Boom Ciao", a bass-house driven by heavy synth licks and a very clever programming, full with intense breakdowns and variations. On the flip, "Two Stories" is a more paced down journey but with chord stabs and piano progressions that builds up into a massive break and a groovy bassline.

These days house music is often about a 4/4 beat and a catchy groove. The idea is to do something simple to which you can get your groove and, and not so much about listening. The borders of electronic dance music makes room for the hypnotic beats, the driving grooves, but not always the melodic universes. Leman & Dieckmann have been making music for several years, both together and apart, but almost all of their music was driven mainly by the beat. But both having an urge to discover the dynamics of melodic synths and melodic percussion they decided to make an album. They agreed that the album had to tell a story, and like so many times before in music the topic became love. The story they try to tell through the music on the album 'Takes Two' is the story of a breakup, the denial of the need of love, and the discover of the fact that often in life it takes two, to be happy. The album features the Swedish/Danish jazz singer TYRA on the groovy house track 'Movement' and the percussion based Balearic inspired track 'The Meeting'. Also the title track 'Takes Two' is featured by the Danish singer Ms. O, who, on top of beautiful Rhodes chords and minimal drums, manages to tell the story of sincerely need and unrequited love. 'The Stranger', a track about the autodidactic act of a one night stand as a part of moving on, is featured by the very talented Danish singer Julie Christiansen. The album, which consist of 10 original tracks, ranges from the deepest atmospheric Deep House to groovy Tech House to old-school trancy house. 'Takes Two' definitely differs from the masses, and bring a breath of fresh air to the circulating sound of 2014 .

Gynoid Audio maintains it's LTD Series with a new split EP containing much character, coarse-grained attitude, thrilling sequences and delightful soul. On one side we have the follow up of the "Procurators" by Mattias Fridell, exquisitely paired with a mechanically grooving remix by Tomohiko Sagae. Turning the plate reveals the minimalistic and focused purist techno cut by Future 16, the "Filaments PT4". Who else would be better suited to put a soulful and zealous twist on the latter than Zadig Obviously no one. Hopefully you'll enjoy this package of music as much as we did assembling it!

The talended Italian based artist "Sonartek" dropped 3 dope minimal orginals on the 7th Rqm releaseto show why his music are unique. A deep trip into dark frequencies and mental groove tunes of high quality sounds. Once again for the remix rqm hires the cooperation of Francesco Passantino & Gabriele Carasco for a massive deep break beat remix. No more to say just listen and enjoy.

Natural Rhythm celebrates its 13th release with a super vinyl only techy , darker , monsterish ep from the italian super producer Giuseppe Cennamo who is wellknown for his releases on : Desolat , 8 bit , Leftroom or Monique Musique . His fans ranged from Loco Dice, Marco Carola , Luciano to the greatest one Mr.Carl Cox himself and his music is an open door to all people are truly loyal to the underground sound.

As label bosses of Lucidflow and Klartraum themselves, Nadja Lind and Helmut Ebritsch are afforded the luxury of dictating their music vision as they wish. This culminated in last year's Secret Moon, the second studio album of the pairing, focussing on their fluid dub laden house grooves. This year has the other major benefit of being label bosses come in to play, with the Secret Moon remix project seeing friends and inspirations drafted in to contribute.


Along with the immense digital package (which sees huge talent in the shape of Of Norway, Saytek, Trinity & Beyond, UGLH, Corrie Loi, G. Pal, Mirza-Zadeh, Weisses Licht, Ricciciomoto and The Messenger chipping in), Lucidflow are releasing vinyl only editions from the remix LP. Joining Alexi Delano, D. Diggler and David Alvarado from the first 12', are Ian Pooley, Weisses Licht and Vince Watson.


Diving Deep sees a downtempo deep dub interpretation from Weisses Licht, retaining the warmth of the original rather than choosing to be alien and gaseous. While Ian Pooley continues with the deep theme, his version is more direct, each dub twang on the beat driving the track on and acting as a firm foundation for the easy going keys.


Emotive electronic maestro Vince Watson is tasked with tackling Map Of Truth, turning in a balearic coastal groove, reminiscent of Chicane's seminal reworking of Furry Freaks. Finally, the original of the deep as you like Sell Your Soul is included; cunning looped vocal snippets and warm undulating textures provide the setting for an 80's influenced keyboard solo.


Part one of the wax edition has already seen huge support from major entities such as Laurent Garnier, Ivan Smagghe, Black Strobe, Dubfire, Seth Troxler, Luciano, Slam and Hernan Cattaneo. Part two seems certain to continue this trend, and whet the appetite for remaining parts of the package.

Simone Liberali has gone through a very successful road this past year and now is the time for his stop at Bad Barbie Records with an amazing single named Handshake. In this fantastic track we will hear how a simple groove goes building itself alongside a vocal line that complements perfectly the groove of the track. Slowly a fantastic rhythm comes from the low-end generated by a percussions group that perfectly blends with the bass line. The ambiences created by the synths and pads in the breaks, generates the needed tension to completely blown up any dance floor with this fantastic clubby track. Another newcomer is Andre Butano who paired up with Pool Muzik to remix this great single. They decided to work on a strong groove created by some bone shaking percussions but always keeping the original track soul very present as any great remix haves. Some other battery elements and very well placed arrangements completes a fabulous track creating a great party vibe. The last and not least of the remixes, comes also by another Chilean producer, Altamirano, who lean towards the tech house style. As his countrymen did, he also worked in a terrific way with the percussions line that are the main leading element of his remix, alongside the main vocal that suffers many unique arrangements during the whole track, but always drawing the attention and letting the powerful and continuous deep bass line do its thing.

Idriss D's second installment in his Dib series on Memento comes with an original track backed by a remix from Spanish maestro Eduardo De La Calle. Titled Alger', it's a heartfelt dedication to the Algeria capital, a city that was a key factor in Idriss growing up and formative teenage years. The feeling and mood of his youth are the inspiration behind this superb piece of music, a diverse work touching on several levels of composition. The Original opens with a field recording intro followed shortly after by heavy bass shots and a pulsating kick drum. Snare patterns and an underwater synth melody hit the speakers with an abstract touch, while halfway through the pace changes with a new bass coming in. An experimental and brave track, it reflects Idriss' DJing style and his long sets, going into different mental spaces, a wavelike combination of beats and up&down rhythms. Eduardo De La Calle's trademark analog sounds fill his Tribute remix with acid keyboards, rim shot grooves, industrial noises and metallic vibes, swinging with a rolling bass line and bringing the original percussions to the fore.

Berlin based Mark Henning continues a series of self released 12's on his own imprint Swing Recordings. Next up is a re-issue of two of his most famous bassline-heavy tracks to date - Trojan and Sin City plus a new unreleased track.

Trojan sold out very quickly, was never repressed and can only be found on Discogs for silly money these days. Meanwhile Sin City, co-produced with Japanese Producer Tokuto Denda a.k.a Den, was never pressed on to vinyl in the first place.

Just ahead of all the exciting 15 Years of Moon Harbour celebrations planned for later in the
year, Matthias Tanzmann's label continues to evolve with its next great EP. The man behind it is
none other than influential German DJ, writer, producer, label boss and record collector, DJ T.
The two excellent tracks he serves up mark his notable debut on this label, and the package is
completed with a great remix from Emanuel Satie.

DJ T., born Thomas Koch, has been active on the scene for twenty five years now. The German
started out in the mid '80s, and since then has held down various DJ residencies at clubs like
the now legendary Dorian Gray, founded the influential Groove Mag and Get Physical label and
is generally a rightfully respected pillar of the contemporary scene, and it's all thanks to his well
informed DJ sets, full lengths and hot 12's.

His excellent opener here, 'The Growing,' is an arresting bit of tech house with rattling
percussive patterns, a freeform bassline and spoken word vocal snippets that add some late
night mystery. It's robust and fulsome, and is sure to have dance floors locked in as one as
soon as it is dropped. On the flip, T. serves up 'Times We Had'. Another no nonsense and
rugged track, this one has a more nimble bassline that rides up and down next to cute synth
stabs. Overall the vibe is deep and groovy, the track is perfectly propelled by slick kick drums
and the production, along with more carefully treated vocals, really jumps out of the speakers.

Remixing this one is Get Physical live act and DJ Emanuel Satie, who's trips it back to a
spangled bassline, jittery vocal and jostling drum beat that really gets under your skin and
makes you want to move.

This is another landmark EP for both DJ T. and Moon Harbour, and one that couldn't have come
at a better time as Moon Harbour celebrates 15 years at the top of its game.

Releasing vinyl needs to be always special. One advantage of releasing in physical format is that you will keep that jewel your whole life. That´s what our friend DJ W!LD has done: give birth to a house gem.

All Night Long features three cuts of classic house sound approach. Both three original tracks show a brilliant use of samples, sometimes giving a special chilled atmosphere as in `All Night Long´ and `Heart Break´ where those dreamy chords melt with the sound of analog percussion. `Just In Time´ is a great lesson of jazzy groove which has been remixed to perfection by other master of the craft, dutch hero Steve Rachmad who delivers a ska influenced interpretation driven by a rising bassline.
We feel very proud to count with this ode to house in our catalogue.

It's been over a year since Gregor Tresher's last solo release on his beloved Break New Soil. Granted we've been treated to his remix of Chymera and the excellent collaboration with Petar Dundov, but for a fresh new solo production we have to look back to his epic Nightcolors album. 

Today Gregor returns home with two slamming new tracks, both of which are the result of hours of tweaking and testing whilst on the road this summer. Midas is built around a stripped back single-riff groove. Minimal elements and maximum effect show that Gregor still has that midas touch. 

On the flip and easily living up to its name is Disturber. its snarling synth takes centre stage, intimidating and unsettling. But as the kick drum thumps and the intensity builds, Disturber suddenly returns to the dark shadows.  

An excellent brace of the new tracks from Gregor and a release that also sees a fresh face for Break New Soil as the label presents the first in a new series of cover art by Frankfurt's Think Design.

Morris thrillingly breaks

Here we go with our new young and talented artist Morris on our flagship Supdub with his EP - Under
my control'.
He is the first one chosen by many selected act's from our - demo-live-session' who perpetuates a pink
vinyl record.
In a playful way he surprised the audience by creating voltage in consciously employed breaks.
The EP includes the title track next to further two productions called "Mountain Drums" and "Peter
Pan, which is a mixture of experimental tech-house and minimal-techno with deep basses.

London based producer Kaveesh Mangtani aka Mr. Kavalicious fronts up the next vinyl EP on Milan's number 1 house imprint, DaBit Records.

The 'Make Me' EP comprises 2 original cuts from Mr. Kavalicious and 2 remixes of the originals, one from the quality production duo from Munich 'Coeo', the other from the dabit label duo of Nick Morris & Dave Scott.

As you get to know Mr. Kavalicious' productions you realise he is skilled at making the musical elements part of the rhythm of the track. The A side, entitled 'Dragon' is a lush deep house chugger, which perfectly outlines this skill. The Coeo remix, which sits on the same side of the vinyl, takes the fundamental elements of the original and crushes them into a raw and very analogue sounding track. Big pads weave their way around the track, building and crashing into a piano breakdown... This is how you remix a track folks.

On the flip side we have 'Make Me', a much more bouncier affair than the A side, with a thunderous kick and bass combo. Kaveesh has crafter a real house roller here which bridges the gap between the old house aesthetics and new deep house instrumentation. The Italian duo of Nick Morris and Dave Scott are enlisted to remix 'Make Me'. The remix is reminiscent of Kerri Chandler in his pomp. Stripped back to a shuffling drum pattern and bouncing bass line, the Sicilian's layer a house organ on top which really 'completes' the track... kind of like a chef adding the 'secret' ingredient to their recipe.

Milanese House imprint 'Dabit Records' welcomes Accatone in to their ever growing stable of talented producers. The Portuguese house maestro (José Reis to his friends) made a quiet start to the year, but has started racking up the releases in recent months, turning out a thoughtful techy 4 tracker on Apparel Music and a deep, vocal laden EP on Hudd Traxx. First up on the EP we have 'Get Outta Dat Hole' - A funked out bass guitar hook sits just below the drums, pulling the track on with an almost locomotive urgency. The mellifluous vocal is the real gem of this track, sporadically coming in and out of the hypnotic drums. Next on the EP is 'What Tha Fuck'. Another rolling deep house track, this time sampling the vocal hook from a certain tribe's mission... This is the more upbeat track of the two originals on the EP. On the flip side we have two remixes, the first coming by way of two Sicilian house legends 'Nick Morris & Dave Scott'. The pair bring some Latin percussion & years of experience to the table in a remix that wouldn't sound out of place on a St. Germain album. The second remix comes from Metropolitan label bosses 'Mattei & Omich'. This remix has been made in the aesthetic of the pairs label... peak time dancefloor tackle, big breakdowns & happy ravers. A fantastic EP, which ticks all the right boxes and shows the growing maturity of a relatively young label.

DJ Emerson finally returns to his own imprint after releasing on CLR, Analytictrail and Desolat. Call it what you want is an old school kiddaz style track. A furious breakbeat and a pitched down vocal remain the core elements of this tune all spiced up with some funky bassline licks and a quick acid injection. The remix from Frankfurt based duo ACENSOR really strips things down to the essentials and comes in handy as a super functional techno tune. Your mind is a more simple piece of rolling raw techno with cut-up field recorded noises and emersons own voice.

The Remixes !

These days house music is often about a 4/4 beat and a catchy groove. The idea is to do something simple to which you can get your groove and, and not so much about listening. The borders of electronic dance music makes room for the hypnotic beats, the driving grooves, but not always the melodic universes. Leman & Dieckmann have been making music for several years, both together and apart, but almost all of their music was driven mainly by the beat. But both having an urge to discover the dynamics of melodic synths and melodic percussion they decided to make an album. They agreed that the album had to tell a story, and like so many times before in music the topic became love. The story they try to tell through the music on the album 'Takes Two' is the story of a breakup, the denial of the need of love, and the discover of the fact that often in life it takes two, to be happy. The album features the Swedish/Danish jazz singer TYRA on the groovy house track 'Movement' and the percussion based Balearic inspired track 'The Meeting'. Also the title track 'Takes Two' is featured by the Danish singer Ms. O, who, on top of beautiful Rhodes chords and minimal drums, manages to tell the story of sincerely need and unrequited love. 'The Stranger', a track about the autodidactic act of a one night stand as a part of moving on, is featured by the very talented Danish singer Julie Christiansen. The album, which consist of 10 original tracks, ranges from the deepest atmospheric Deep House to groovy Tech House to old-school trancy house. 'Takes Two' definitely differs from the masses, and bring a breath of fresh air to the circulating sound of 2014 .

When the Minicoolboyz changed their brand name to Many Reasons in late 2014, they were ready to embark on a new techno adventure. A bold move! Since then they have worked relentlessly on finding a new language' to express their exciting and cutting edge sounds.

With the 'Call Up EP' they present us with three refined, peak time compositions that will elevate techno-sets for months to come. Crocodile Soup , one of the best Italian talent , having released on

graces of tINI ,and he playing at tINI & The Gang of Ibiza.
God Has A Big Ego Problem, its track, is a mix between minimal and
deep , resembling a bit ' of that kind Romanian , mental, full of
rhythm , and of developments in the groove.
The bass is round, and gives a dark tone to the track leaning on the
crisp kick that rests gently on the chords almost imperceptible.
Jecogy .
Atimpuri , our great friend , our revelation , builds an abysmal travel
between the long dubchords and a groove that evolves between hats
and metrics designed mathematically .
The pads accompany the entire track that leads down to the depths
and back into the light. A perfect track for traveling .

Ali Kuru, he doesn't need any introduction.
A master of house music .
His releases on 8Bit Music and Apparel , are the
modern interpretation of house music with a touch
of classic that never hurts !
Crescent is obviously a playable track in a situation
elegant , but with a little ' imagination you can also
play his track in a DJ set more stringent .
The break is a carpet that unrolls and then depart
with a mix of kick and bass with hats that mention-
ing the golden rules of house music .

Syntesis , Guido Nemola's insanity , enclosed in a song.
The rhythms of the drum machine accompany a synth with a touch of acidity
that smells of old school .
In the end, Guido is a teacher ,who makes music for over ten years.
Recycle Records (his label) is one of the most productive labels of southern
Italy and reflects the soul of her owner : house, deep techno Raw, the merging
of various kinds in a closed epic work suitable to destroy the dancefloor.

Now a firm part of the modern Moon Harbour make up, frequent label artist Sven Tasnadi is back with a new EP that comes complete with a fantastic remix by Marco Faraone.

The German producer last offered up his essential wares back in late summer 2013 with his Stop Talking EP, and has also released on great stables like Smallville, Cocoon and Poker Flat.
His sound is deep and rhythmic and across three tracks here he lays down yet more infectious grooves that will whole floors under their spell.

'On Your Mind' opens things in fine style with loopy drums and dusty hi hats rolling over rich and paddy kick drums. A whole ambiance of voices swirls about, adding plenty of charming
atmosphere, and an indecipherable but party-starting male vocal coo shoots through the mix to bring a sense of energy and excitement to proceedings. The dub from Italian Marco Faraone -
who runs his own Etruria Beat label and releases on places like Desolat and Drumcode - is a much darker and tougher thing driven by firm drums. Subtle dub chords peel off the groove,
grainy texture fleshes it out and this one is a pure backroom bomb.

Sven Tasnadi then serves up the standout 'Feel Good', an introverted bit of shuffling and heads down deep house with spacey atmospheres and a clean spoken word monologue. The ripping bassline is a fine thing that supercharges the track as the shining, sharp edged hi hats cut through the humid air. Seriously deep, it makes way for last cut 'Miss Understood', a silky, liquid
and rolling bit of silvery tech house with curious synth lines, eerie, desolate soundscapes and yet another engaging baseline that really drives things on.

Each track on this EP manages to be seductively deep at the same time as being perfectly driven for the dancefloor, meaning that once again Sven Tasnadi and Moon Harbour have
struck gold.

First up is Patrick Siech with the moody, prowling 'Return'. "I've been playing this for a couple of months now" says Gregor. "Its one of those tracks that really lifts the floor if you drop it at the right time."

Maxime Dangles makes a much anticipated return to the label with 'BBA'. "I'm so happy to have Maxime back on the label. His Lyoc track has been a real highlight of our entire catalogue and i'm a real fan of his amazing music. With BBA he's delivered once again."

Following up their mighty Taurus single from earlier this year, Gregor and Petar Dudov have returned to the studio to create yet another dancefloor gem. Elegant and anthemic, 'Cosmic Serpent' is everything we've come to expect from the pair. "Personally I don't believe in talking too much about my own music. So i'll leave it to you... enjoy." 

The collection is closed by a track that's actually been a regular opener for Gregor's own sets, Per Hammar's 'Cloaker'. "It's all about the menacing intro on this new number from Per and thats why its become a favourite for me."

The - Allein EP' is the first single EP of plunk.ton. All the tracks are driven by the deep mood of winterdays containing the warm vocals of plunk.ton himself. Combined with organic orchestral sounds they raise the hope of spring approaching. While - Allein' is about the thoughts of someone lonely, - Willkommen' invites everybody to get together. - Was wir sind' comes as original and Nico Pusch remix and tells the story about a guy who wants to get in touch with a girl.

Cahoots Records Volume 2 explores unchartered house frontiers with new and profound tracks from Volta Cab, Ange Siddhar, Jeremy Juno and Mulla. With their sophomore release, Cahoots makes room around the campfire to welcome new artists who have traveled from distant sonic realms bringing their deluxe-deep and hard-hitting beats.

Kicking off the Cahoots exploration is Ukrainian talent Volta Cab, as he leads the pack into the wild with the winsome sounds of 'Odessa.' On his previous releases for Hypercolour, Morris Audio, Toy Tonics, and What's In The Box, Volta Cab has exposed his rare ability to paint vivid portraits of pure sonic bliss. Odessa's uplifting pads glide effortlessly and radiate like a summer sunset over its pleasant, percussive ensemble. Odessa warmly greets listeners to Volume 2 before sending them packing for higher ground.

Next stop down the path, Parisian based Ange Siddhar gives dancefloors something to be grateful for with 'Let Us Pray'. A combination of funky classic rhythms and whimsical melodies, Let Us Pray offers a dynamic affair that will surely lift spirits on an early Sunday morning. Ange continues to evolve his sound, combining progressive concepts with tech house mastery. As a sound engineer in one of the city's best studios, Ange's works have appeared on labels like Bluelephant Records, Pumpz Music, and Laboratory Records.

A bullish side B kick starts with 'Deeper' from Dutch maestro Jeremy Juno. A force to reckoned with, Juno continues his onslaught of floor driven tracks and relentless beats for labels such as Taylor Made, Colours Audio and Big Flu. Deeper's quick build-ups and drop-outs maintain the high tension and energy flow from beginning to end. Jeremy's established skills in the studio and DJ booth have helped him gain a strong foothold in his hometown of Arnhem and on the larger Dutch club and festival circuit.

Another powerful Dutch artist, Mulla, closes out Volume 2 with 'Smack Back', a raw and stripped back basement anthem. Inspired by classic house and techno, Mulla's clattering snares and cymbals pack a punch as Smack Back's sub-heavy bassline gives warmth and life to the groove. Mulla has emerged as an integral factor in the current underground house scene in Amsterdam by piloting the Natives and Kreativ nights at clubs including Studio 80 and Chicago Social Club. Mulla is also co-founder of the Nomads Festival and helps run Kreativ Amsterdam, a prominent booking and creative production agency.

Mihalis Safras returns to Definition this spring with an original,
one-track EP, 'Nasty'. Right from the start Mihalis introduces us to a playful bassline and rising percussion. Utilizing a cheerful vocal
sample throughout adds to the cheerful vibe while pushing the track higher until the break reduces the track to an itchy rhythmic synth before jumping back in and finishing the job.

Definition is proud to present Raffa FL & Di Chiara Brothers' latest
collaboration, 'All About That Bass', a 2 track house EP with plenty of groove. The title track is up first, featuring a fitting vocal to set the mood and, yes, plenty of bass to shake your booty. The second track leads in with clean and crisp percussion making it a perfect track to lay down mid set. It goes on to introduce a bubbling bassline and beautiful pads set under vintage hip-hop samples throughout.

After the labels last digital installments featuring artists like Urulu, Purple Velvet and ELEF, Kolorit
Records continues its journey into deepness and the origins of house. Catalogue #017 features two
well known heads, Jorge Takei and Thomas Sonora, who released on the likes of Suruba,

For the A-Side, Jorge Takei and Sello team up and deliver a deep slow-jam, driven by warm, raw

Elektrax Recordings is back, and not only is Elektrax Recordings back, it's also the return of some legends. The 'Big Room EP', by nobody else than the maestro Orlando Voorn contains some tracks you are not likely to forget, and comes with remixes by the one and only comeback kid Ortin Cam and Chris Colburn.

Needless to say, title track 'Big Room' provides the quality to be just like the name suggests; a throbbing kick and bassline and those great old-school hoovers. Ortin Cam delves a bit deeper with his remix, but undeniably, after some minutes in, profiles itself as peak time as Orlando Voorn's original.

On the B-side, we find 'The Booming System', by which the name alone already tells us, this one's not for the faint of heart. With the same heavy old-school vibe as the a-side, this one's a banger, start to finish. Chris Colburn's remix ends the EP with a deep tribal feel, providing for a great tool in all DJ sets.

Canada based trio Return Of The Jaded are made up of Hungarian Zoltan Koltes, Briton Simon Sheppard and Canadian Chris Girard. Last year saw their debut release 'Lolita' through none other than Pleasurekraft's imprint Kraftek, a propitious launch to their swelling careers. Now, the house stalwarts join the Kittball roster by dropping three killer original cuts

'What's It Gonna Take' is a serious groover that hits hard courtesy of its cavernous kicks and commanding bass. Sharp snares and a monstrous bassline are the core element of 'The Afterparty', whilst an infectious vocal chanting 'I don't wanna stop right now' identifies with its after hours vibes. Meanwhile '2 to the 3' is a bouncy dancefloor weapon complete with a heady hook and blissful breakdowns that ties up the release in expert fashion.

A side: Minimalistic and funk jazzy especially on the Miles Davis inspired track 2 Miles. The track titled Harney Peak, on the other hand, retraces the old school 90's road with hints of surrealism.

B side: get you crazy with Lilliput track gives one the feeling of entering a fairy tail, following a path of fairies and ogres. Not a trip taken by Gulliver, but you'll know where you are once you put the needle down. Faster's remix on 2 Miles track is rampant, with a pump down, that not allow to stop moving your ass.

...Finebeatz label is taking the next step: The number 5 - fondly known as - Tag & Nacht EP' (engl. Day & Night EP) - is presenting two new tracks which are quite impressive.

The Night-Side (A) is the result of the collaboration from Hille, also known as agent:audio, and the two guys from pinch 'n' peedge, that contributed to our last release fine004, as well. The resulting track 'Vorfreude' (engl.: anticipation) is an impulsive track with powerful percussions.

The Day-Side (B) is introducing Taron Trekka - a newcomer act from Jena / Germany. With 'Sit Back' they created a wonderful deep track that acts as a perfect opposite to the A side of the release.
