The other side is headlined by Italian buddy Roger Dee, whose track 'Marisa In The House' follows up the spheric surface, but underlays a heavy basskick. '8th Floor' though is more loopy and driven.

Additionally in digital shops and here for free, the first Roger Dee track is remixed by south german producer Smilla, who is up to release his album on Harthouse and interprets it here in the sort of more organic.

1. CROM & THANH - These Walls feat. Ann Saunderson

The partnership of Andre Crom & Chi Thanh has already proven to be extremely
productive, with a number of chartstorming originals and remixes.

Now they take their partnership to the next level by launching the "Crom & Thanh"
duo, under which their future collaborations will be released.

Their first ep features house legend Ann Saunderson on vocals, who, next to Kevin
Saunderson and Paris Grey, made up Detroit's seminal house group Inner City.

Ann's soulful voice is the perfect complement to the emotional instrumental.

The lyrics are an hommage to the clubs, our havens of the weekend: "We build the
walls around us, to keep us safe and warm..."

Tight drums, vibey bass pads, an anthemic piano loop and Ann's vocals build
towards an epic break that will take Ibiza and the summer festival dancefloors by
storm.

After "Black Rain", Crom & Thanh return to their underground club roots with
"Mando".

As the name suggests, a combination of synthesized Mandolin-riffs takes over
as a catchy and weird hook element, set on top of a driving fundament of kick
& sub bass, rounded off with crisp tops.

The result is an intense techhouse-trip that would very much feel at home in
Panorama Bar at 9 am on a sunday morning.

After the first Monotonik Records release the imprint is presenting the next long awaited 'Mirror' EP, performed by Ukrainian artists who are well known both in Ukraine and far outside of it - Qbeck & The Maneken.
Qbeck is the producer with the likes of Tale Of Us, M.A.N.D.Y., Droog, Maceo Plex, Luciano, Solomun and many more who must be known for underground electronic sound fans of the world with his collaboration with Julia Govor which was out on Seth Troxler's Visionquest label, Amam Records EP with Mihai Popoviciu and Hooved remixes to start talking about the discography.
The Maneken - the Multi-instrumentalist who is known for his extraordinary and bright live perfomances of various genres with using of huge amount of equipment and own voice reveals his vocal skills this time.
Immensely weighed groove with hardware taste of the original mix will surely find its place on the dj booth.
Remixers of the release are the artists who don't need to be described.
Mexican duo Climbers (Get Physical, OFF Recordings, My Favorite Robot Records) makes his own vision more powerful with progressive elements, still sounding solid for big dancefloors though.
Italian producer FreakMe - Diynamic records scarlet, also Get Physical artist - shows his absolute and refined style in his remix - slow and organic.
Brazilian artist Re Dupre - Monotonik Records' resident - closes the EP with his low groove version.

Göttingen/Germany based sublabel of Shaker Plates "Rüttelplatten" comes out with a split Vinyl as a double release. This limited 200 piece edition featuring as the #003 an upcoming female Dj and producing talent from Dortmund/Germany. She´s called by her real name "Frau Schwarzmann" and has a big release vita so far. " No Comprende" is a banging floor filler with wonderful arranged shaking sound elements. Label owner Gunman gives his Remix a dark acid line and also shaking FX sounds for the right grooooove. The #004 side is an older project which did not make it on Gunmans "Daily Mirror" Album. A "Purity Ball" is a formal dance event attended by fathers and their daughters which promotes virginity until marriage for teenage girls. That´s ridiculous for us. Anyway...this sound issue is also pure and gives a feeling - but to dance free! So we are happy about the collaboration with our long close friends from Snuff Crew. These two funny guys have given their most favoured interpretation of an electronic dance groove - a generous helping of Jack!

Yukazu, a band formed by Lenuschka Krueger and Mike Hermann, look to combine the charm of French chanson with gypsy Balkan groove. The band was completed with the addition of Rafaele Castiglione who united the group like a kindred musical spirit. He reworked each track affectionately, telling his side of the story so you can look at it from a different angle.

To set the scene...the journey begins with 'Gari', when Lenuschka takes you by the hand and leads you through the crowded streets of Morocco. The track is riddled with pitchmen that only peak through from time to time and with the beautiful piano, the delayed guitar and the jumpy bassline you'll get lost in the charming atmosphere of this vibrant city. This track invites you to forget about your surroundings and to get up and dance in the middle of every crowded place.

As you gather your wits at the beginning of 'Pagaille', you will find yourself on a rousing ride through the countryside. More forward and driving, the second piece on this musical adventure is a ticket to a higher dimension. With short remarks from your tour guide, you will soar on the moving guitar line and float away across the country.

'Douleur Fantome' walks you to down the final stretch, lets you catch your breath and asks you for a last dance before you hit replay and start your journey all over again. With its unique accordion flavour you will be transported to a seat by the seaside where you can bury your feet in the sand and reminiscence fondly of your experience with Yukazu and Rafaele Castiglione. Come back as often as you want to indulge in this gift from a sublime union of brilliant musicians.

Marko Vukovi does his "What Is Love" interpretation with nice delaying sound elements and a dark Vocal edit.
Vedran Puo does as a Band drummer a very cool cover and played his drums live for his "Love Drum" remix.

So these people are the new part of the Rüttelplatten Family. The next members are already in pole position.

The melodic, dubbed out techno sounds are in its hayday in Japan, and Hypnotic Room is the embodiment of this trend, bringing you, once again, warm spacious sounds by some of Japan's most talented artists.

A1 track immediately feels like a warm bubble-bath, having all the right ingredients for those dubby moments; warm vibrant chord stabs, inventive pad-work, and spacy effects, making Tominori Hosoya's 'My Funny Daughters' a masterpiece.

This side closes off with Deep Inquisitive's track 'Shiki', and it doesn't get any more 'dub' than this. Close your eyes and you instantly feel like sipping wine in one of Ibiza's beachclubs. Pure quality dub techno !

The joy continues on side B, and Asian Psilocybe Foundation gears it up with 'Light Line', super dreamy, but still keeping the dance-vibe strongly in there.

Wrapping up this 12" is the usual suspect Takashi Watanabe, who's making a name for himself quickly in Japan. Fans won't be disappointed, because 'Club Harie' is truly one of his best works. The use of synth is brilliant, and makes it a very usable track for the clubs.

Alfred Heinrichs proofs once again that his work is thoughtfully chosen and carefully crafted to align

Very well, but isn't it maybe just our mind that is playing a trick on us. Maybe it's just doubtful
perfectionism that lets our thoughts drift away into the darker sphere and makes us feel insignificant.
Maybe, sometimes we are thinking too much and this flood of thoughts overwhelms us and creates
the so called "braintv".

It is exactly those lines of thought that Alfred Heinrichs is trying to catch within his new sonorous
techno-track called "braintv". Deep bass harmonizes with firm beats which are accompanied by a
memorable melody that makes you wishing to hear more. On top, the EP embraces three more
remixes from Alfred Heinrichs friend and fellow Carlo Ruetz, the newly signed Florian Frings by Minus
and the talented techno tyro Gaga.

FORMAT Records presents an action-packed EP by rising star Doka, with techno don Tripeo popping in for remix duties.

Following up his diamond release on the lauded Wolfskuil imprint and remix for FORMAT Record's kick-off release, Amsterdam-based Doka returns with three fresh tracks that each spotlight a different facet in basement techno. Up first is 'Xure', an arp-driven slab of mind-tickling electronics that slowly builds its way to a sterling peak-time climax, after which the distorted 'Xero' highlights the dirtier and grittier side of things with a raw LFO-esque synth meandering through a sonic groove. Closing track 'Xite' captures the spiraling vibes of off-beat techno across hypnotic percussion bits and glistening sounds in the background, leaving very little to wish for.
On the remix tip, one of techno's men-of-the-moment Tripeo (aka Darko Esser) delivers a beefy rework of 'Xure'. Tying an arped synth to a potent groove, this little monster will definitely do the business in the clubs...

Yamen & EDA aka Hadrien Alaoui & Francois Sauri were born and raised in the south of France, since hooking
up in 2011 and starting to produce material together the duo have found themselves playing sets at some of
Europe's most influential nightclubs, such as Watergate (Berlin), Social Club (Paris) and The Garage (Leeds).
Here we see the pair offer up an EP for the ever on-point Turquoise Blue imprint, and with material forthcoming
on One Records and the launch of their Rawmance LTD label, evidently these two are ones to watch over the
coming months and 2015.

Kicking off the release is the original mix of 'Windmill', a stripped percussive-led number fuelled by sparse,
minimalistic drums, rumbling sub-bass tones and mind-bending vocal murmurs. La Vie En Rose owner
Terence:Terry steps up to rework 'Windmill' to follow, upping the energy levels with the percussive aspects,
and bringing a more stab focused resonant bass hook to the forefront.

Second on the original content from the duo we have 'Physicall', embracing a similar low-slung aesthetic to the
preceding cut the pair blend shuffling rhythms and processed spoken word vocals with swirling ethereal pad
sounds and subtly programmed bass hits to create a smooth, hypnotic number. Berlin-based John Dimas
reshaphes 'Physicall' next with his 'Warped Mix', and as the name would suggest Dimas re-twists the original
number into a fluttering, heavily processed interpretation.

Welcome Audio Stunts & Mahumba on Ton liebt Klang. After their big success on Shaker Plates they are now a part of the TLK Family.

Next big Release by the TLK Homie Wolgang Lohr with massive remixes by Tobi Kramer (Formatik, Stil vor Talent) and Fernando Tessis (Kombo Records).

After releasing two various artists EPs, we are once again focusing on a
single artist. "All Around" is Johannes Moses debut on Finebeatz.
The original track convinces with its terrific and memorable vocals. Both
remixes expand the style spectrum of fine006 and give the last fine-tuning:
another interpretation of the vocals on Hille's and a deep contrabass
perfectly completing the original track on Less.

Our next bomb by Pablo Bellegrini comes together with a massive remix by Freedom B!

It has been busy months for Chi Thanh and after he remixed Booka Shade and Deux
Tigres on Mood Music and also after releasing a few Beatport smashes with his
production and DJ partner Andre Crom, Chi Thanh returns to OFF with his next solo
EP: RAIN.

The first song 'Let It Rain' takes us on a melancholic and mysterious journey where
clubbers are encouraged to 'let go of the past and let the rain wash away the pain'.
After a deep intro and the anthemic breakdown the song erupts in a techno-synth
frenzy while still maintaining a dark and rainy feel.

The second track 'No One Else' is a groovy percussive tech-house song which also
takes a turn in the breakdown, where deep vocals meet an acid-synth and melt
together in a techy final showdown.

The final track of the EP is a collaboration of Chi Thanh with his good friend and
labelmate Florian Kruse of Kruse & Nuernberg fame.

Together they stir up a 'tech-funk' track which lets the listeners hang on a crazy
weird synth-line for a few minutes until the song erupts in a funky bass-heavy tech
groove that takes no prisoners!

This RAIN EP is a worthy follow-up to his successful last EP STONE and takes
things to the next level for all parties involved.

The next Celeste Release comes from Benn Finn with their great track "Kind of Man". With two Remixe by Andlee and Adam Stacks.

Fader Ranger - the amalgamation of Chicago's Nick Maurer and London's Neville
Attree - are set for exceptional things in 2014. With their debut album coming in the
Autumn on hfn music, the duo have been honing their dynamic, affecting sound, ready
for a full-scale assault on the senses.
Following their debut single ‚Be On The Lookout' on hfn music, the impressive remix
package is now released on hafendisko, the realigned subsidiary for the more club-oriented
releases and mixes.
First up is Berlin's techno gentleman Ed Davenport, who delivers a signature slice of
brooding Berghain-esque techno goodness, with plenty of grit and menace thrown in.
Avant-garde dance-floor pioneer LOPAZZ joins up with Hawaii-based Willis Haltom
to rework the track in a completely different direction -a spacey, drifting slow burn into
the cosmos. Their work comes in two versions - a vocal and dub, while Vincenzo also
drops a proto-house/electro rework that highlights Faded Ranger's new wave leanings.
Also included is the boys' Faded Rethink remix from the original release - their
clubby version that has been doing serious damage to dance-floors in the know for a
while now.

At a young age still influenced by U.S. HipHop stars such as N.W.A., Public Enemy or Run DMC, the love to electronic music has also been growing over the years. Sebastian Phillip has since appeared in numerous prestigious clubs in the country and also at the Berlin Loveparade. Since his studio debut in 2009, much has developed. Most notably his sound, which he now wants to finally present to the crowds - with the help of the 'People In The Club EP'.

Of course with this title, we all expect club music here and this also comes into effect immediately - pumping, driving and always addressed with a focus on the groove. Ben Anders puts more emphasis on melody and harmony passages in his remix, but not working besides the main theme. In addition, Sebastian offers 'Love' as well, a track with tribal influences and a great idea of the main motif. To round it up, the remix of Lorraine continues right there.

His successful combination of Techno, House, Minimal and Tech-House reflects a diverse range of sounds. It's a great feeling to dance and celebrate to Sebastian's music - especially in the club - and exactly for those people there 'People In The Club' has been produced.

Illogical Directions The Remixes Part 2
Things are about to get even more profound, proves Jerome Sydenham with his remix of Wo Wei. Originally a simple, funk filled groove, the New York veteran creates a straight up house classic out of this bonus track, beautifully build around elegant synth lines and sounds that seem to come out of drum computer heaven.

If that isn't enough, Dutch own Tom Trago also takes a shot at Essence, this time evolving into a slow burning moment of euphoria, broken house music from the deep, it's as vivacious as it can get. Finally, 'mister Dial' Lawrence takes care of Panomanic again, letting piano chords take over a delicate rhythm before the music moves into faraway, melancholic atmospheres, a more than fitting complement to Shinedoe's creation.

Italian producer Thomas A.S. is set to release his latest EP, 'North Lake', on the rising Beirut based label Fantôme de Nuit.

Not one for elaborate biographies or fancy press packs, twenty­something year old Italian producer Thomas A.S. simply prefers to let his music speak for him. And when you are constantly releasing tracks
like the ones that make up his upcoming North Lake EP, a string of fancy words are the last thing you need.

Thomas opens up his latest with North Lake', the EP's title track, and wastes no time at all. Clocking inat over nine minutes, others might ease into a release, but A.S. gets straight to business. With a massive kick propelling the opener forward, the young Italian constructs his track around the big four­to­the­floor beat. Crisp percussion gives way to spacey stabs, before a perfectly executed vocal sample freshens things up again. Make no mistake, the track is a long one, but its durations passes by like nothing, ultimately compelling the listener to rewind this absolute belter.

Every Time You Fall' begins with a mix of smart clanks and some big waves of bass. The two work together to envelope the track and by the time to kick drops in, you're already nodding along. Significantly darker than the opener, Every Time You Fall' has a menacing vibe. Thomas continues to build and break the track down, each time introducing a new element to the party. It's easy to imagine the track going off at the darkest of clubs in the early hours of the morning.

Nick Devon is first to step up on remix duties with his interpretation of North Lake'. Although the mix takes more of techy twist, it's the enormous bass lines that really stand out here. His use of heavy delay and clever pads make for a delightful build up just before the track drops out near the halfway point.Reduced to bare percussion and and a deep synth line it floats in mid air for seconds before slamming back to reality.

London based duo Daylomar wrap the release up with their take on Every Time You Fall'. Stripping thethe track down to its most prominent features, the duo introduce some clever drum programming to mix things up. Their version of Thomas' menacing b­side, is significantly lighter and offers a beautiful variation to the original mix. The use of airy synths breathe new life into the original and make for a remix with legs of its own.

After the launch of Jannowitz Records and its Madness Compilation release in the beginning of this year, the label impressively reports back with Patrik Berg's new track "Differently". It is a groovy Techno tune that will encourage the listeners to dance. The remixers that Jannowitz Records procured are not less impressive. None other than Mike Wall himself contributes a remix to the release that comes straight to the point. Another remix is being contributed by newcomer Florian Frings who enriches Richie Hawtin's label Minus. These tracks, each having their own style, make the release a truly special one.

Cordoba based producer Ezequiel Esley's Lazer Shots EP, complete with a remix from Nadia Popoff, is set to become the inaugural release Beirut based label Fantôme de Nuit.

Rising star Ezequiel Esley has been given the honour of the first release on the new Fantôme de Nuit imprint. The young Cordoba based selector is at his best here, serving up two original tracks and calling on the talented Nadia Popoff to come in with the remix.
'Eze' opens up his new release with the title cut, 'Lazer Shots'. Clocking in at over ten minutes, 'Lazer Shots' is a track of epic proportions. Opening up with a solitary brooding synth, it continues to grow for the next two minutes. Sprinklings of ambient glitch and spacey stabs make for a bumpy, dubby rhythm that carry the listener forward. As the track progresses we're treated to intergalactic synths and cryptically filtered vocals. Across the tracks ten, sultry minutes Esley continues to show off his credentials as a top notch producer.
'Submarine' is a B-side with some serious attitude. Featuring some serious low-end, Esley has crafted a true late night burner. The track is ripped forward by a mean bass line. Again the producers uses ambient vocals to create a sense of atmosphere, this time one of the darkest nature. Esley lays a touch of acid and a the slightest wobble to round off a truly menacing effort.
Argentinian leading lady Nadia Popoff steps up on remix duty and delivers her own techy interpretation of 'Lazer Shots'. Using a loan kick drum, Popoff constructs, deconstructs and reconstructs the tracks over its eight minute duration. Her drum programming is top notch and her distinctly South American sound can be heard throughout.

Garibovic is one of the hotest new starz shooting for a well deserved
succes. His new ep is mostly a mixture of nudisco and electronic beats
that are glued together quite nicely.

Even better, Garibovic seems great at picking not only the hottest,
but best remixers around. Washerman provides a deep as can be mix that
is catchy enough mix to hook nearly anyone. Prime time dancefloor
magic or leather chair relaxation music, this mix is pure ice. Clean
vocals, electronic bells, reverse warm pads, and echoes galore are in
great abundance throughout the track. Both a workout for your body and
your mind, the mix is one of those that you can listen to at your
house and not wonder when its over. In fact, I was quite dissapointed
when it was over... Sergio Santos&Tamer Malki are amazingly talented at
what they do, and this one only proves it more so. Many tracks appeal
to one producer, but this is one of the rare ones that will appeal to
everyone. Superb rhythm , sounds, and atmosphere throughout, well
worth checking out.

It is hard to believe that it has been a full three years since our great friend Paul Ritch last featured on SCI+TEC with his awesome Circus EP. Well, he's back and bringing us a truly epic new single... PULSE.

With its machine gun snare and omnipresent bass pulse, the eleven minute (to the second) monster begins. The firing rounds of the drum and intense single note synth spark a flurry of sound before the track drops again with Ritch creating a chasmic feel, greatly enhanced by the hollow bongo riff that seems to echo within the great expanse. 

Ron Costa takes on the remix challenge. Tightening the track with his thumping kick drum and vocal tricks, he creates a ripping groove that perfectly complements Paul's original. 

Robosonic has been a pivotal part of Off Recordings roster, their releases being highly expected every time and usually meaning instant dancefloor melting magic. With a hip hop and techno background and adding many frequent flyer miles with worldwide gig schedule, the pair shows no sign of stopping. This time is no exception, Cord and Sacha get back in their creative roll of sample wizardry to provide two mouth watering jams. They once again prove their love for organic sounds and reivindicate the use of the turntable as an instrument, adding that old-school vibe to their trademark beats.
'Macho Madness" is quite a trip, sweet rhodes over a bouncy bassline, great sample work adding guitars and an insane speech. As always, breakdowns are intense and its impossible not to dance to the groove!
For the second track, Robosonic joins another Off family team, Mat.Joe and together they go deep into their hip hop influences again working the samples as only they could, a little disco flavor, a driving bass...All the ingredients are there for another instant classic and a respectful shout out to Detroit producer legend J Dilla, who left the game too early. R.I.P!

Borrowed Music return to wax see's a release that very nearly didn't see the light of day. Between the years of 1995-99, Toka project were writing tracks at DiY's studio and releasing EP's with their label, S4G. These tracks were stored on DAT Tape (remember) and left for release at a later date. When the Toka boys moved into their own place the DATS were misplaced and presumed lost for good. Unknown to anyone at the time, the tracks had simply been placed on a hard drive and forgotten about, until now. So, Borrowed is very proud to present a slice of unreleased 90s House just the way we like it and only on Vinyl for now......

Following last May's label kick-off in the form of JSSL's 'Fake Facade' EP, FORMAT Records now invites Dutch prodigy Qindek for its sophomore release, which is backed up with an excellent remix by Swedish techno veteran Pär Grindvik. Having already released a slew of high quality cuts in the past few years, Qindek's definitely no stranger to the realms of deep and fiery techno. His delivery for FORMAT Records kicks off with 'Pigeon Dance', an intense and very hypnotic track built around deceivingly playful acid wobbles and a no-nonsense techno groove. Expect things to get nasty on the dancefloor when this one's dropped.
Pär Grindvik's rework of 'Pigeon Dance' is a slightly heavier affair that rips out the acid bassline from the original while taking things to new heights with its merciless big room techno kick.
Closing the EP is 'Everflood', another original Qindek cut that sees the producer popping in a beefy funk-infused bomb, with several layers of bass stabs and percussion bits creating a track that has 'peak-time' written all over it.
With this excellent second release FORMAT Records is set to continue its headstrong view on techno...

A year or so after launching and Silence in Metropolis has already garnered a great reputation for its
inventive house music. Here the label turns to JMF for a new EP featuring remixes from Rekreation and
Dudley Strangeways.

JMF, who has remixed for this label before now, is a midlands based producer who pushes an
underground, distorted sound and takes inspiration from people like Rio Padice, Mike Huckaby and Kris
Wadsworth. Back To You, Holic Trax, Static Audio and Kote have all released his music and Luciano and
Ritchie Hawtin have leant support.

Opening track 'Point To Yourself' is a wiry and sinewy bit of house with squelchy synth lines and lively hi
hats. The chunky drums form a nice propulsive bed and the twitchy textures sure keep your synapses
firing throughout.

On remix duties is ReKreation aka James Hill and Ben Morling, the Manchester based duo that has had
music signed to Noir Music, Pura Music and Save Room. Their re-rub of the track is a more airy, spaced
out and serene affair with a firing Whitney vocal and elastic basslines that bring plenty of dynamism to the
table.

JMF's other original is 'Room 2', a taught dubbed out house affair that's all grey buffed metal textures and
bulbous steel basslines. They sound drunk as they lazily undulate and the percussion up top is beautifully
grainy. This is a perfectly paced early evening warm up tune that is impossible not to bounce to.

Dudley Strangeways, who has been impressing with his LeftBack label, steps up to remix 'Room 2' and
brings his usual tough house aesthetic to the table. His beats are bulky, his synths are widescreen and
searching and the roomy arrangement allows them plenty of room to breath. It's a classy bit of dub.

Once more here Silence in Metropolis offer up forward thinking house that is fresh, well produced and right
on the money.
