As usual in OFF, we keep scouting the best in deep house throughout the whole world, this time our music venture takes us again to one of the most thriving scenes in the world: Brazil. Experienced duo from Rio, Bruce Leroys formed by Diogo & Marcelo make their debut with a huge first ep.

"Get Me Right feat. Dr. Shinigami" is the title track for this project, a deep nu-style house with trippy vocals and a garage wobble synth bass that gives the track a very special feel.

So special that we teamed up Barber and Vanilla Ace, already OFF family with some hits under their belts, to provide a fantastic remix keeping the original main elements but shuffling the groove into a deep-dance stomper.

"My Love Is feat. Ellie Ka" by Luthier & Bruce Leroys is another house masterpiece with a driving bass, analog synth arrangements and a supersexy female voice bringing in the lust.

"Uncle Frank feat. Marcos Hasselmann" closes the ep with style. A blues-inspired sample topped with a stomping bass, synth stabs and one of those vocals that are never easily forgotten.

This is a very promising debut for Bruce Leroys and we give them the warmest welcome here at OFF, enjoy!

Lucas and Hugo Sanches are the two talented brothers making up production duo Chemical Surf, who even at such an early point in their career have already earned the backing from some of the scenes best renowned artists such as Tube & Berger, Noir, Sasha, Dubfire, Kolombo, Amine Edge, The Mekanism and Reset Robot. 2010 saw them produce 'The Turn Is Mine', an album which was nominated for one of Brazil's prestigious COOL Awards and 2013 saw them produce on a slew of reputable imprints such as Lust Be Records, Slaap Records, Molotov21 and Kiez Beats. Now with a massive release on Tube & Berger's label Kittball they look to become one of 2014's most exciting new names.

Collaborating alongside Kittball favourite P.A.C.O., who already had great success with his first E.P. 'Greyjoy', the brothers kick off 'Walking Back' with pulsating organ chords before pitched down masculine vocals introduce a stomping heavy hook, a formula which will unquestionably drop like a bomb on the underground club circuit upon its release. The second track sees the duo produce with Gorkiz for 'Don't Be Jealous', a groovy number powered by a killer bassline and plenty of snare whilst layers of atmospherics provide that absorbing depth. Tying up the release is a distorted rendition of 'Walking Back' from Rafael Cerato, whose 'Strange Lands Mix' introduces throbbing low-end, purring bass stabs and subtle and intangible vocals to provide a deep and techy alternative.

Roots For Bloom label boss Jamie Trench kicks off the label offshoot RFBCOLOURS with a collaboration EP alongside REbEL. The A side tracks come from Jamie himself. "Good Love" has a stripped back garage feel with a jacking and filtered vocal carrying it, then Stapled brings things across with a more techno feel with strong stabs and background drifting chords. The B side is where we see REbEL's input, with the rolling and infectious 'In The End'. The groove is again stripped back and simple but it's this that carries the vocal that demands your attention. The two then pair up for 'We Don't Fly First Class' and it's apparent to hear in the track where the two come together well. This one is driven by a huge sub bass line and simple stabs and talking and seductive vocal lines.

Continuing down their own interesting underground path, Silence in Metropolis offers up a new EP from the studio duo that is Jus Nowhere and Sam Haas, with a remix from ALiVE Recordings duo Velcro.

Jus Nowhere has previously released on Definition:Music, Disco Kicks & MEME Sounds, has turned in a well-received remix for this label before now and can count Huxley and Climbers amongst fans of his tracks. His partner here, Sam Haas, is signed to i! Records & MEME Sounds and is very hot prospect indeed.

The first track the pair turn out is 'Wrapped Up', a bumpy bit of sexy house music with lively drums bobbing about, coarse claps bringing some energy and some soulful vocal stabs imbuing the thing with plenty of human richness.
You can imagine it becoming something of an underground anthem and the remix from L.A.'s Velcro is just as nice. His version is a little more serene, with a reflective mood matching the reflective synths and glistening hi hats. When it drops hands will likely reach skyward, such is the impact of the carefully crafted moment of release.

Sam Haas then goes solo on 'Turned On' and proves himself to be a fine craftsmen of deep and driving house music. His love struck track is awash with thick synths, whispering female vocals and a nice driving bassline. Then it's Jus Nowhere's turn to go it alone on 'Burning', which kicks like a mule and has some subtle garage infections in its shuffling beats. Bold chords, well-treated vocals and a gorgeous bassline make this another sure fire floor filler.

This is no nonsense house music that will get dancefloors dancing and feeling good all at the same time.

When you hear the name Wild Culture, an image of a wild tribe living in the jungle may come to mind. Although, when talking about these artists we are not talking about a bunch of wildlings, but of two young and talented guys who live deep in a forest in Austria. Felix and Florian have long since proven their sound knowledge, with their last release on Kittball at the beginning of this summer.

This time, their tracks "Summer Swagging" and "This moment" show us Wild Culture's ability to create unique, fresh and high quality sounds so solid that they will survive any earthquake or dancefloor.

The well known mallorcan artist Dani Sbert who's gaining allot of respect around the World and has contracts with major labels like Bosphorus Underground, Italobusines, Amazing rec, Neverending, Neurotraxx, capsula and many more is responsible for the remix on this one. The Original of 'Your are nasty baby' is a straight peaktime bomb. The rhythm is pushed by funky bleeps, floating vocals and some breathtaking noise. The Remix of Mr. Dani Sbert is even more some kind of bleek weapon for the early morning hours. Full of melting whispers, black haze surrounded by resonance.

It's time to announce the next release of WirSindEins Records for Artist Lui Young, also known as Eleminal, who already released on labels like Miniload, VeryVeryWrong Indeed, Colludo etc.

The name of his track is called SaxoJazzy, as you can imagine it has some influences of Saxophone with groovy and sexy beats followed by a tight synth. Overall a very impressive creation made by Lui Young.

His buddies, Toni Rios & Mikel, Eddy Romero and Sandro Sincero arranged the remixes and we are proud to have them on our fourth release.

Toni Rios, one of the most famous name in the electronic world, in collaboration with Mikel, created a Dub Mix, which sounds really amazing. Wrapped, screwed-up Saxo and Piano, accompanied with deep, full kicks and straight snares, give this Dub version the final touch.

Eddy Romero, a talented artist and lover of minimalistic and experimental sounds, produced a groovy dark style remix.

Sandro Sincero, a family member of WirSindEins Records, present his kind of SaxoJazzy. Deep, sweet, but also cheeky.

Hanfry Martinez and Javier Carballo present the second release on the Overall Music Limited vinyl only series, produced from the greek-living in Berlin John Dimas, who brings us his 'Out of Sight EP', with two original tracks plus a remix, showing us his love for dynamic and trippy house.

'Out of Sight', the title track, is an elegant house exercise that takes you back to San Francisco. Recall is a brain bomb, hypnotic and psychedelic but with lots of energy, and has already been supported by the likes of Raresh, Rhadoo, Djebali and Apollonia, and is definately the cut to go in this record. 

To finish things off, romania's rising star MP, known for his works on Soulsity and Meterze, shows us his own view on 'Out of Sight', based on dynamic drums and a with an amazing bass leading the whole thing.

Nach langer Zeit steht mal wieder eine Vinylauskopplung ins Haus von Ostfunk Records. Das Duo Kanzler & Wischnewski kommt mit zwei neuen Tracks daher, welche durch ihre Latino-Mexicano, Gitarra und Vokal Elementen zum spassigen abtanzen und mitfeiern anregen. Wer hat denn nicht mal Lust sich auf der Tanzfläche ein wenig wie Herrn Banderas zu fühlen, sich dem treibenden Beats hinzugeben, um dann im Gitarrensolo sich seinen eigenen Film im Kopf zurecht zu schneiden! Oder nehmen wir - La Bruja', - Die Hexe'. Witzige, leicht mystische Vocals untermalen den treibenden Sound des Duo´s und geben dem Track seine ganz besondere Aura.
Um der ganzen EP den letzten Feinschliff zu verpassen, haben die Herrn Lizarra & Tatsch, sowie Stereo Jack mit jeweils einem Remix ihre eigene Note hinzugefügt und so darf man mit Freude auf das endgültige Resultat gespannt sein.

DIF ist ein Danceoor orientiertes Techno/House Projekt frisch von der Waterkant/Hamburg.
Geboren und ins Leben gerufen wurde die Deutsch Iranische Freundschaft vom Perser Bardia Salour und dem aus Norddeutschland stammenden Benjamin Eisenbeiss.
Da beide schon sehr lange leidenschaftliche DJs und in der gleichen Clublandschaft zu Hause sind, war es nur eine Frage der Zeit, wann man sich zusammen findet, um gemeinsam als
Produzententeam an Tracks zu basteln.
Während der oft langen Studiosessions stellte sich beim ein oder anderen Schnäpschen schnell heraus, dass die Zusammenkunft kein Zufall war. Nein, die Erfolgsformel war rasch gefunden: hundert prozentige Leidenschaft zur elektronischen Musik plus hundert prozentige gegenseitig gefühlte Sympathie.
Das Ergebnis ist Ihr erstes Vinyl-Release auf Paper Jet Recordings.

Alex Bizzaro is a 25 years old dj and producer of Italian tech-house and deep-house scene.
On 2007 he started to work in the studio, fusing, developing and improving his musical style.
His philosophy about dance music is: it has to be danceable and able to create atmospheres.
Till now he had several releases on label such as Resopal Red, Zombie Soundsystem, i!Records.
His dj-set are groovy and full of energy, reflecting his production style.

In Febuary 2014 Martin Books comes up with his new album "LIVE". It's gonna be released as a double vinyl and digital download as well via - Style Rockets'. This record certainly lives up to the label's name.

In his usual nonchalant style, you can expect deep driving arrangements. Through the precisely applied sub-basses and the unobtrusive synth pads, a first class sound-performance is guaranteed.

"LIVE" doesn't shine only through suitable club rave sounds like "7 Days".
We can be sure that playful tracks such as "Panic Jack" or "Wake Up" will accompany us to the open-air season. Co-responsible for this are the skillfully interwoven vocals, which serve both as grounding melodic elements and staccato-rhythmic sample-whips.

The album features many label mates and companions from Berlin, such as Kotelett & Zadak, René Bourgeois, Drauf & Dran and Pierre Deutschmann. Even a Mexican joins the league of the extraordinary dance floor matadors. Alex Young, known for his hit - Sol", also contributes a remix. In return, Martin is going to put his version of "Sol" onto the vinyl edition to be released in 2014.

Break New Soil is thrilled to present Gregor Tresher´s brand new full length artist album "Nightcolors", marking the next chapter in a series of releases and remixes that have underlined his status as one of the most prolific and influential artists in electronic music today.

After a string of chart-topping EP's on Cocoon, Drumcode and Music Man earlier this year and two high profile remixes this spring (Depeche Mode - Soothe My Soul, Moby - The Lonely Night), Gregor went back into the studio to craft his latest offering for his very own label, Break New Soil.

The new album embodies the signature Tresher-sound from peak hour, techno-driven dance floor bangers (- Permafrost', - Black Relief') over darker electronica tracks that mark a connection to his earlier Sniper Mode works (- Pelican Dreaming', - Apparition'), to lush and cerebral soundscapes that shape the album into a complete listening experience - and of course there are the signature sounding melodic tracks that Gregor´s name has become a trademark for (- Nightcolors' and his latest Cocoon hitsingle - About A Good Place').

Accompanying the release, Gregor embarks on an extensive album tour that will include a mixture of exclusive live performances as well as DJ gigs starting at the end of May at Movement Detroit (US). The tour will touch down on some of the most prolific music festivals in the world such as Love Family Park (DE), Exit Festival (RS), Sonar (ES), Loveland (NL), SonneMondSterne (DE), Barrakud Festival (HR), and will culminate at ADE in Amsterdam at the annual Break New Soil Label Showcase in October. There will be a select group of clubs featured on the tour such as Berghain (Berlin), Fabric (London), Studio 80 (Amsterdam), Output (New York), Sankeys (Ibiza), Sound (Los Angeles) and Warung (Brazil) amongst others.

Gregor Tresher began his career as a DJ in Frankfurt in the early '90s; today, he can be found plying that trade at venues around the world, from Berlin to Tokyo, Sydney to Los Angeles. Brazilian up-and-comer Volkoder refuses to rest on last year's laurels by kick starting 2014 with another pivotal release.

Hailing from Brazil, Volkoder may be young but his production output could fool any listener into believing he's an artist possessing twice his experience with last year alone seeing him make releases on reputable labels such as Go Deeva Records, Kittball, Lo Kik, Deadfunk and Body Music. His summer smash 'Detroit' received support from the likes of Lee Foss, Jamie Jones, Tube & Berger and Catz 'N Dogz and fast became one of 2013's festival anthems. Set on continuing his momentum into the New Year he kicks off 2014 with a trio of first-rate tracks on Kittball.

'People House' sets the pace with rhythmic percussion and spacey synths before reaching a drop consumed by beefy ominous bass stabs and ethereal looping vocals. On the other hand 'Do You Love' makes a bold effort to combine acid vibes with a funky bass riff that is given extra character with the subtle addition of a sensual female voice. To conclude, 'Tension' is a number equipped with stomping kicks and cavernous synths which forge a moody industrial sound to generate a gritty warehouse feel.

PVS is on a roll of lately. With some blasting releases under his belt, he now returns to Gynoid Audio, where he again delivers a wicked track especially made for their 'Gynoid Audio Limited' series. As the title suggests, it's a very hypnotic affair. The percussion tends to get deep into ones mind, however, the climactic drives are perfect to keep the peak time up to pace.

The masterly Conrad van Orton aligns for remix duties, and takes the concept of the original even into more deepness, dimming the lights more, for a darker, subterranean vibe, without ever losing it's energy.

Wrr continues with its series of releases focused on quality and not quantity. This time with a talented young man from south Italy who released his first EP with us! We're talking about Daniele Polacco, a producer already appeared on our last VA (WRR005), who delighted us with two beautiful house tracks with Detroitian flavors and a very mature style for his young age.
The EP is composed of two original mixes called "Leemon" and "Old Ramshackle" on the A-side,
plus two remixes of the lead track on the B-side. One is from the label owner Giovanni Damico who adds a Disco touch to the original mix, the other one is from the very well known producer Rio Padice with his alias Mystic Jungle, that shows us a completely remodeled sound of the original parts, made only with his MPC.
Wrr is here one more time to spread the freshest underground sound around world!

Following on from the success of Ekkohaus' debut album, No School, last year, Moon Harbour now offer a selection
of high quality remixes. The chosen ones include Watergate mix star and bona-fide house godfather Kerri Chandler,
Made to Play boss Jesse Rose, label regular Sven Tasnadi, Greek producer John Dimas and rising Russian talent
and Beatport remix contest winner, Ki.Mi.

Up first is Mad Tech boss and New Jersey legend Kerri Chandler, who tackles 'D58'. Using all his years of know
how, Chandler skilfully transforms the track into a smooth and sublime house cut with rolling kicks, glistening
percussion and a shape shifting melody line.

John Dimas, known for his three deck sets at places like fabric and productions on labels like ONE Records, goes
just as deep on his reinterpretation of 'Buzzin Fly'. The bassline is buried super deep down below a ticking, circling
hi hat line and celestial melodies that rise up through the mix like a sun first thing in the morning. It's rich, warm and
truly compelling deep house with inviting drive.

LA based beatsmith Jesse Rose, whose recently released an album of top shelf club tracks himself, is in an
unusually pensive mood on his remix of 'Rendezvous'. It's a deep but playful cut with ramshackle percussion and
melody riffs that bump up and down and take you all the way with them.

Sven Tasnadi is known for his own sumptuous tech delights on this label and serves up one more such winning
track here. This one is a low down groove with curious, high-pitched pads and sound effects straight from outer
space fleshing out the tight drums. Liquid and funky, widescreen and inventive, it's a terrific remix that leads into a
final cut from Ki.Mi, which is a track with which he won Moon Harbour's recent remix competition on Beatport.

The Russian gets to grips with 'Mark Ma Words' and turns out the freakiest, most minimal jam here. Drums rise up
and down as bendy tones and distant murmurs weave in and out in their wake. It's abstract and otherworldly and
rounds out a package that breathes plenty of new life into the already compelling forms of Ekkohaus's originals.

Pulling in anyone from Jeff Mills to Robert Hood and Ben Sims, Dutch/Spanish DJ/producer Juan Sanchez' FORMAT concept has established itself as one of Amsterdam's leading techno brands to those looking for quality. Now entering its fourth year, the recognized concept readies itself to further explore the realms of techno music with the launch of its own label, aptly titled FORMAT Records. This new extension to the FORMAT canvas will center around stripped-down, self-wise and energetic techno with a twist, delivered by both established as up and coming names and hand-picked by label head Juan Sanchez himself for release on both vinyl as digital. The official label launch comes in the form of this sizzling three-tracker by enigmatic producer JSSL, who delivers a juicy slice of unpolished machine funk with Doka and Ferro popping up for remix duties...
Kicking things off is the original version of 'Fake Facade', which is a thunderous, delightfully minimal-structured slab of deep techno funk built around muscular kicks, Spartan percussion rattles and fx capable of bringing any crowd to its knees. Coated in what can only be described as a seriously evil basement vibe , this is one of those bombs that'll be stuck in your head for some time after the party has ended...
Popping in for the first remix is Doka, one of the nation's up and coming talents who already saw his music being released on seminal techno imprints Wolfskuil and ON Records amongst others. Centered around fierce off-beat kicks and piercing bass stabs, Doka's remix is a gritty and intensely flavored techno belter that's guaranteed to do damage in the clubs...
Closing the EP is Ferro, who keeps things minimal and mid-tempo across a canvas composed of basic but highly powerful elements. Propelled by a strong, hypnotic groove, the track slowly builds up to a menacing house/techno-hybrid that's as mysterious as it is deep whilst keeping floor potential to a constant high...
With this excellent first release, FORMAT Records is set to spread its own vision on no-nonsense techno. Keep your eyes peeled...

Muovo's second strike on Audio Safari is already waiting in the wings. After he was signed as the first artist on that label, he now also presents the number 14. This also proves that Muovo does not only have perfect skills with a mixture of House, , Tech /Deep House-Sound as a DJ, but also as a producer.

Due to the jagged beats, the wobbling bass and animating vocal loops 'Clap Your Hands' reminds the listener of the good old House records from New York or Chicago. Of course, the claps are provided with a slight oldschool touch as well. None other than Tapesh has produced a remix for this number and of course this one comes along in the usual peaktime Tapesh sound and therefore represents a mixture of Deep- and Tech-House. Frederick Alonso also takes up the theme and brings up a nice Deephouse remix, as everyone hungers for.

Hot Creation rising stars deliver the HITS!

The Zurich-based Definition:Music has really been on a roll of late,
with originals and remixes by with originals and remixes by Darius
Syrossian & Hector Couto, Reboot, Sidney Charles and Josh Butler (among
others), really stetting the label on their way to success. If that all
sounds like an auspicious start to proceedings, then wait until you
check out their latest slab of wonderfully curated electronic music, as
this time it's the turn of young Naples native Stefano Esposito. And
Esposito's debut for the imprint, it's fair to point out, is the sort of
record that belies his youth and his relative short stint in the
production game.
The Jump Around EP, then, is an offering that's steeped in hearty house
music fare from the get-go. Brash drums, spliced vocals and brash kicks
help to set the wheels in motion with some degree of excellence on the
wonderfully frantic title-track, and the cosmic tidbits only add to a
track that bumps and grinds with a swaggering panache.
Mad Mama's Blues showcases a different side though, one that's indebted
to the sample-heavy sounds of Moodymann as it is any other modern
techniques. Ghetto infused vocals shine throughout, but it's the
analogue sounding basslines and the crisp hats that lend this one a very
synthetic and tangible feel.
Crumbs opts for an acid palette with which to showcase its excellence,
with the 909 manipulated to dizzying effect thanks to an elongated
bassline that twists and turns throughout, taking the listener down a
rabbit hole that's littered with vibey, thoroughbred planes. Emerging UK
producer Jordan Peak has the last laugh soon after, as he turns in a
remix of the latter that's laden with hissing snares and a quite
exception dose of anticipation. A 'Rogue Rework' it most certainly is,
but make no mistake about it, this is an EP where every possible
producer delivers with some aplomb.

For they debut release on Cellaa Music, Bjorn Wolf & Youri Donatz stepping up themself with the fantastic 'Put Your Mind On Zero'EP and demonstrate their love of electronic Music.

"Put Your Mind On Zero" swirls into a heavy upright bass groove seething with woody percussions and plenty of sonic details flesh out the languorous but slightly tribal groove to make this a dancefloor mover.

The Höhenregler head Basti Grub built a Remix on a rolling, almost bouncy groove on the "Put Your Mind On Zero" that keeps gaining momentum with the additon of new percussive elements that gets more and more swinging, this slowly evolving track create a unique atmosphere.

The EP continues with the dub-influenced "Bred" with a broken beat and mild-mannered percussion, before a bouncy bassline kicks in and transforms it to a dancefloor smasher. If this is the most banging track of the EP, then it's been a while since a banger's been so catchy.

"Before Singing We Must Leave The Church" is a rabid beast of a track that contains with an infectious groove and chuggy drums. With its hypnotic vibe, tripped out sounds, It is taking you on an interstellar trip.

The duo have taken care to show huge respect in creating a EP that is intended to leave unforgettable magic on the dancefloors.

Vekton 31 is a record for vinyl-lovers of the two talented artists Maki Polne and
Lorenzo Chiabotti based in Berlin. Both sides are very different and reflect their
individual, detailed production style with lovely dub elements. We look forward to
- Everlasting Treasuries 5' where the two Vekton-Debutants are also represented.

Since releasing their Walking Back EP' on Kittball, Brazilian duo Chemical Surf have demonstrated their indisputable work ethic in the studio with appearances on the likes of Miami Underground Records, Sprinkler, Lust Be and Erase Records. Collaborating with them is Juliet Sikora, Kittball co-founder and the heart and soul of the label. Alongside Tube & Berger, she is responsible for Come On Now (Set It Off)' - a track labelled as Pete Tongs Essential New Tune' before it reached #1 and #2 on the Beatport Deep House and overall chart respectively.

With shuffling percussion, a decadent bassline and tension heightening climaxes, No Matter' features a heady vocal hook that is pitched-down, chopped, and distorted whilst making an undeniable nod to garage. Meanwhile Whats That' continues the theme of commanding low-ends, with a rumbling bass hook taking centre stage. This time the vocals have been left intact adding a sing along factor to a dancefloor commanding piece of four-to-the-flour house.

Now one of today's most hotly tipped artists, Cristoph has come a long way since listening to his brother's Chicago and Detroit House cassettes years ago. The past 12 months have been particularly seminal for the fast-rising Geordie, garnering support from a slew of modern house music's established artists such as fellow northerner Hot Since 82, as well as releasing on the likes of Noir music, Underground Audio, Material and Extended Play. Furthermore Cristoph has also become a staple on Defected's sister label DFTD, releasing his massive 'Guffaz EP' last year, followed by two more original releases, as well as mixing the imprint's inaugural mix album.

With Cristoph's appearance on Tube & Berger's imprint Kittball he once again demonstrates his consistency by delivering a pair of killer cuts. From the off 'Rimshot' is brimming with attitude, demonstrating steaming kicks, a rumbling bassline and fuzzy hook, before beckoning a thunderous drop. A moody remix comes from Chemical Surf, who distort the original's vocals and through in some seriously decadent bass that will indisputably throw dancefloors into a frenzy. 'Back To Beat' is then a heady number containing swinging hats, ambiguous spoken vocals, and seductive acid modulations, whilst eerie synths ebb in and out throughout the mix.

and driven by progressive synthies and freaky, moody vocal samples
generating a very dynamic and striking vibe.

Silence In Metropolis is a new vinyl and digital label that has a discerning ear when it comes to underground House music. Now on its third release the imprint aims to serve as a hub for up and coming talent alongside established artists that have already paved the way. For their next EP they turn to Usual Things Around, a trio based out of Italy and made up of Manuel de Lorenzi, Paul DC and Samuele Pirani who have clocked up support from the likes of Richie Hawtin, with remixes coming from man of the moment Dale Howard and Jus Nowhere.

The Usual Things Around trio have long histories dating back to the 90s and taking in party promotion, label management and many production projects, and that heritage shows in their tracks.

First is 'Rescue', a chunky cut and heavy house groove with well defined percussion and teasing vocal samples. The rubbery bassline will no doubt slay dancefloors whilst the twinkling melodies work just as well on head as they do on heel.

The remix comes from Jus Nowhere - the pseudonym for the Washington DC based Justin Nouhra who has releases forthcoming on Rebel Hill and hometown label, Silence in Metropolis. His rework of 'Rescue' is more intricate and tightly layered, the drums are a bit looser, the groove more fluid and the neon glow of the background pads seem extra warm.

The other original is 'It's Real' a fulsome and cantering track that verges on techno with its metallic stabs, clicking percussion and dubby ambiance. Driving on and on with subtle elements creeping in and out of the mix, from weird voices to ditty chords via what sound like bird calls, it's a track for the body and no mistake.

After serving up some chart topping bombs for the likes of Morris Audio and OFF Recordings, Dale Howard is very much a new school talent on the charge. His remix is garage inclined remix shuffles and wiggles along without any friction, just the deftest of melodic touches, and closes out a very promising EP from an equally auspicious new label.

Next up on the Silence in Metropolis label he co-runs is Funkdamentalist aka Bilal A, who has
previously released on i! Records and Something Different Records, picking up support along the way
from DJs like Roger Sanchez, Luna City Express and No Artificial Colours. This EP comes backed
with remixes from Sam Kosh and Prab K.

Funkdamentalist comes from the deep suburbs of Washington DC, which is where he started this
label along with friend Sam Kosh. The sound of his productions will take you back to the
fundamentals of house music, so expect great basslines and grooves but most of all - pure feel good
music.

First track 'Waiting' is a choppy, chord heavy affair with smooth drums and a buried-deep and
bulbous bassline that keeps the track and dancers moving right to the end. There's a dark tension to
it all thanks to the muted male vocals and moody chords, but label partner Sam Kosh switches things
up with his remix.

Here the chords are more bubbly and aqueous, neon in colour and spritely in character. They bounce
along with the sandy beats and make for selective hands-in-the-air moments before things drop back
into the deep-cut groove once again.

Next original 'My Soul' is a choppy percussive number that wallows in the deep dark depths of house
music with only a solitary pad for company. Eventually well-treated vocal samples join the jumbled
percussion, as do some frazzled synths and funky claps. It's no-nonsense house music driven by its
Juno bassline and gets a remix from No. 19 Music artist Prab K. His version is a little more loose and
liquid. It goes deep and introspective and allows some sombre synth lines to really shine at its core.

This is another versatile package from the Silence in Metropolis label that proves Funkdamentalist to
be not only a label boss steering his imprint in the right direction, but also a fine producer in his own
right.

For our second release, Silence in Metropolis turns to Paraguayan producer P Lopez, whose deep house with a distinct urban flair (on labels like Dogmatik and Keep Up) has won support from the likes of Maya Jane Coles, Alex Arnout and Tom Findlay of Groove Armada fame.

The title track "Shame" has an infectious groove and punchy kick drum at its core set off against 909 snares & hi-hats. The percussion is skippy and garage leaning whilst the nimble bassline bounces up and down the scale and takes you with it.

Fast rising Hot Waves producer and Leeds based DJ Matt Fear delivers a sure-fire dancefloor bomb of a remix which is catchy but classy at the same time. He imbues the track with more drama and elasticity, raw machine lines lacing up drum fills, weird FX and a killer bassline finished off with breathy vocal cries.

B-Side track "Keeping Up" has plenty of celestial key patterns up top as a tight kick clap combo powers on below. Propulsive yet rich with emotion, it's a stylishly tripped out and late night house track that will have the right dancefloors locked in the driving deep house groove.

The main track "Oh Year" shows us the house side of Markus's musical education in the early 90`s. Raw, dirty and funky, beatdriven drum programming and oldschool influenced organs. All this is held together by a massive bassline, rolling over the dancefloor. Not much else to say than: Oh Year!!

THE EP

Where "Oh Year" takes you more to the funky side, "Dayrun" is a more techno influenced trip to the dephts of the night. With the hypnotic synths and wobbly bassline it invites you to loose yourself in the dance. On the other side, the detroitesque strings, that glimpse up during the break and the pushing hihats, it leaves you with a smile and your hands in the air.

To complete this fabulous EP, Markus throws in some percussion and extra deep basslines on "Pingel Pangel Snop". A track that is filled up with funk & soul, designed to be nothing but a house track with a twinkle in one's eye. A true groove monster.

THE ARTIST

Everything has started for Markus with a gift of his brother in 1992, a Behringer 3 canal mixer. Kraftwerk, Yello, and Off belonged to the artists who opened his creativity and his ears for the electronic dance music. In 1994 he visited for the first time the Omen in Frankfurt where Sven Vath, DJ Dag and Frank Lorber did what DJ's for one good evening have to act. Two years later he put in action his won inspirations in the end, in the decks.

THE REMIX

Who else could we have asked for a remix on this oldschool trip than DJ Sneak. Not only that Markus and Sneak share their love for BBQ and big chunks of beef, they also deliver a perfect match soundwise. DJ Sneak takes the original to another level by enriching the percussions, adding a floor pounding kickdrum and bringing in some real house gangster feeling. With his own words: Yeah man, imma work it for ya!!

Space Ibiza residency. The "Tuesday" project was Cox's idea: He reportedly handed Moudaber a zip drive stating, "Right, we're doing a collab and we're putting it out on MOOD, but all I have is the bass loop." A few email swaps later, the track was born.The original mix of "See You Next Tuesday" is a no-nonsense techno gem that features a pulsating bass interjected by shimmering breaks and delicate snares. The middle section takes the listener deeper down the rabbit hole with haunting ethereal vocal cuts, before things get taken up a gear yet again.The deep mix is a groovier affair with intricate drum patterns and a warm bass line that balances the driving nature of the original, and demonstrates the pair's ability to travel unexpected musical ground.

The exclusive vinyl distribution of this label, will be managed by the specialized german web Deejay.de . One of the big distribution stores at all.




For the first reference Morforecs 001 - Limited vinyl edition - we have 4 powerful artists from Europe, remixing tracks from the MORFOGEN duo. Our first launch, will be reworked by the Greek sound mathematician, SPIROS KALOUMENOS, who did a masterly dark vision of the track "Brasas". Serious construction and an excelent sounds.




Also as a remixer, we meet ERIC SNEO, who did his best with the track "Mantis" giving the sounds into his laboratory, and making an absolute Dance hit, with a lot of elegance. You are now in front of another masterpiece from this german musician.




For B side, we have reserved another two more powerful tracks. An original track from the portuguese artist A. PAUL, who has a lot of vinyl lovers followers. Impossible to imitate. The track "Stay the course" is another one more proof of this. Serious and faster techno with a constant ascent, perfect for dj work!




The other track is an authentic jewel from the spanish duo called MORFOGEN. "Hi Brome" is a one of this kind of track not easy to clasify, but a lot of people love it. Dance, Flow, and you become desintegrate with this heartrending and piercing bass that make you drive to golden techno years.

Patrick Arbez brings us 2 original tracks in typical Arbez-Style of dark, driving Techno Sounds. The release contains 2 big remixes by Felix Bernhardt and Zellyana. A perfect start for the year 2013! Only Vinyl.... Vi Tva Records - Music to touch.

There's an undeniable force of chemistry in the air when Andre Crom and Chi Thanh work together in the studio. The head of OFF Recordings has a neverending story of bestsellers and seems to have found the perfect partner in the multitalented newest addition to the OFF roster who has also graced us with some incredible music through the last couple of months.

This one is special, it's the kind of record that turns head over in the club and rockets a magic reaction whenever is played loud.

"Black Rain" is dominated by powerful synths and bassline that create an intense build up throughout the whole track. The breakdown is monstrous but the vibe is underground and just plain sexy.

"Arosa Sky" takes us yet again into a synth trip but on a more soulful relaxed vibe, a melodic late night groover that sends your head on a journey and arrives into peaks of tension and madness.

This is one release for the books, this new partnership seems to be evolving into something huge and we have the pleasure at OFF to be witnesses of this in first row.

Another 150-holy-pieces-limited edition on vinyl is coming out on Questo! Music. With this No.2 on that label, the series of high quality minimalistic and expressive deeptech music continues. The original is a Swiss-German co-production by labelhead Francesco Ballato and the new Parquet Rec. member Mandibula. The symbiosis of these two guys is like putting unfiltered apple juice with vodka, which results in tasting like exquisite strudel cake. The caky music sounds like lusty melodic elements on a suspenseful beaty framework, or how they call it: like 'Lechery'.

Side B is literally packed with Miro Pajic! The Remix from the Berlin-based lazerslut, who also releases on Magda's Items & Things, uses almost full capacity of the vinyl record length and strikes with a 12-minutes journey of dirty grooves. On a percussive Pajic-like setting, he finds his unique way of 'Lechery' with an apparently neverending buildup which turns into some epic moments. Simply a splendid piece of smart electronic music, that shouldn't be missed!

Mit DISTANCE wagt Alex Sauer den ersten eigenen Schritt in die Welt der elektronischen Tanzmusik. Nach etlichen Collabos mit u.a. Patrick Kunkel, Broombeck, Alex Flatner, M.in, Joseph Disco,Ill-Boy Phil, Djoker, 2 Faces, Less Hate, Frank Valon und vielen mehr ist es endlich soweit. When a fresh breeze blows through your hair, the sun beginns to warm your skin slightly and the sounds of the breaking waves mix up with some easy to listen percussions - then you're surely doing one of the first beach walks for this year. Basti Grub used one of this walks as an inspiration for this 3-tracker that will give you 100% summer feeling. Listen and feel it!

Kanzler & Wischnewski are the shooting stars of Berlin´s OSTFUNK label and represent like very few other musicians the sound of 2013 in the German capital, The release of their first album "Chameleon" is not only a milestone for their career to them but a real masterpiece of the current Berlin sound.

The Album title "Chameleon" is a key note, each track is grooving in a different style and as in their DJ sets K & W present themselves as many-sided all rounders.
The title track "Chameleon" shows already the direction and shows K & W's magic formula: The combination of impressive vocals, strong percussive elements and wind instrument samples are leading to a characteristic groove. 4 tracks are outstanding - those where the duo is working with Annie Jacklin, a vocalist with Hungarian roots who lives in Switzerland and who gives the vocal for this albums hit - Sunshine'.

Continuing with the OFF tradition of fresh dancefloor beats and unforgettable moments, we pass the torch to a connoisseur: an experienced dj, producer and an outstanding a&r as the head of Glasgow Underground and Breastfed, Glasgow's own Kevin McKay, who makes his debut in our imprint with two chicago influenced burners ready to turn the clubs upside down.

"Goin Freak" is pretty self-explanatory, a dirty groove led by male vocals and a luscious bassline...Classic drums making the trick on a proper jacking bomb.

"Club Trax" turns the funk up a notch in the bass front and tops it with a great synth work and intense breakdown.

On remix duties we have Brett Gould, from London, known for his work on Glasgow Underground and Toolroom who works his magic on "Club Trax" developing it into a Riff-Bass classic house monster with great progressions and a lot of melodic value.
