'A Box Of Goodies' is a limited edition reissue of 4 brilliant dubs released on Club U Nite Records between 1996 and 1998.

It starts with 'I Need A Rhythm' (from the E.P. 'A Trip To N.Y.'), which represents a timeless house sound with deep bass, killer rim shots and easy jazz chords. The second track on the A side is the classic 'Saturday Luv' (from the EP 'Manhattan Project Vol. 1' catalog no.1), which keeps the dance floor moving with its pumping beats and a unique sample mix.
'Be Free' (from the E.P. 'Manhattan Project Vol. 2') opens the B-side of the Reissue E.P. with dope swingin' beats and chords, jazzy scat vocals and sax licks... We highly recommend this one for real House music lovers. Deep ends the B-side with 'Life's Like Good Music' (from the E.P. 'Manhattan Project Vol. 3'), a track that not only works in the club. The Ingredients: Deep Rhodes Chords, smooth Baseline, Rasta Vox and Hypnotic Sax Samples... whatta goodie!

Side A will throw you inside a finger-snapping track with a satisfying beat that will be shadowing the composition for all the ten minutes of your experience. Going to the B side - dreamy keys and ambient sounds are the ones that guide this piece of art, leaving a hypnotic state - followed by an atmospheric and dubby finale. Taste it yourself.

Capodopere are back with their yearly wax phenomenon, having Suolo on the sixth issue after stamping the catalog with Fanfaronade and Fenomen releases. He has seen touchable changes within the last couple of years as the visions morphed into more subtle and dusky ones, tailoring the pieces to the new eyes wide open conception.


The ready-steady-go is how we have seen the outset of this record as “No Proof” slams into the speakers with an assaulting force, taking over the surroundings and advancing into the layers of bass lines. Some elements of the piece are carrying geological provenience as Suolo has grounded the percussions and laid the path for the coming vocals. It is certain that the magic happens around the deliberate vocals that as well as their enchanting presence throughout - mark the lively beginning of a musical hike.

As we move to the next episode of the chronicles, “Rudiment” speaks a lot about Suolo’s founding bases, with the heavy lower notes being the first ones to reach the receptors. With no dissonance for ourselves, “Rudiment” is where he achieved the perfect balance between the low and high, inside a spiral of circling ambient buildup. Gently overlapping the A side, B1 is the piece that plunges between the beginning and the ending of this EP. He recreates imaginary sojourns through the layered dissociation of the field elements. It is as Susumu Yokota would produce music for club floors.

“Oasis” is a well-anticipated continuation. The gurgling sub-bass is noted at the first sight yet the rest of the cookout is at the preparation stage. A slashing indigenous voice becomes the companion of the piece throughout the deserted lands of layered pads. We reach the oasis when the sandy kicks are taking over the desolated fields, peaking into the various luminescent shots paired with playful melodies of a recreated xylophone. Is it a somber downhill or an elevating escalator?

It's been almost three years since our good friend Giorgio Maulini made his first appearance on the label. Since then, it's only been upwards and onwards for the young talent, between founding his own imprint and events label "Underground Town" and becoming a Modernity resident, to name only a few achievements.

Spaceport is a driving yet fairly stripped-back piece of music, somewhere in between tech-house and micro-house. The omnipresent synth riff is a backbone to a solid groove just right for buillding up towards middle of the night intensity. Atmospheric synth chords bring a delicate third dimension to the track for an overal well-balanced work, nice job!

On the remix, we couldn't be happier to welcome an artist who has been making serious waves with a very specific, easy to recognise signature-style: Mr Silat Beksi. The feel is slightly nastier and dirtier than the original and the energy is taken down a notch. Listen as your brain is teased and seduced by the female vocal FX braking the monotony and lovely delicate keyboard patterns contribute to a rich clever arrangement.

Ninetoes launches his label Head To Toe

In April 2019 Ninetoes is set to launch his new record label 'Head To Toe'. The imprint will be be releasing on vinyl and digitally.

The first release sees Ninetoes drop his single 'Miracle', a solid underground house record with a nod to a 90's NY house sound, featuring remixes from the UK's hot young talents Mason Collective and the mysterious Lemberg from Berlin.

Having released on such luminary labels as Moon Harbour, Crosstown Rebels, This and That & Avotre, he has decided to take control of his output with a label he can call home.

Initially it will be a platform for his own productions, but as the label develops other artists will be invited to contribute to his carefully curated audio brand.

Ninetoes... I've always wanted to have my own label to be able to express myself fully, and to not be constrained by other people's A&R vision. HTT will enable me to release my own music, the music I love, and music to feel from Head To Toe.'

The ever excellent MOTHER RECORDINGS serves up more club gold, this time from MARTIN WASLEWSKI. His CLOSER release features two tight tacks that prove he has a lush sense of house groove.
Waslewski is a German who grew up on hip hop and now having turned to house finds himself at home under the roof of labels such as Hommage, Monaberry and Heulsuse. All these playgrounds offer him a deserved platform where he never fails to come up with the goods, as is the case again here.

Up first here is CLOSER, six minutes of deep, feel good house music with romantic vocals and colourful chords. The beats are lazy and well swung and this one is perfect for summer parties and terraces this year. On the flip, COME TO ME is stripped back and more driving, with a tech edge to the beats. There is more great melody though, and some smeared synths that add a sense of scale and weight.

In the phenomenon of the wave, nature, and technology combine with great effect. For Adrian Rodd both are important, he draws the bow from the synthetic sound wave to the natural surf wave. The producer and filmmaker from Lanzarote has created the visual aspect of his debut for Cochlea Music not only in the EP title Waves, the opener Equilibrium was created directly as film music. Surrounded by ambient and trippy synth sounds, the short film about the surfer Andy Criere shows a colourful journey from blue to red, a romantic poem "Man, Sea, Earth, Fire" - churned up and set in motion by urban basses and beats.

Unlike the main track, Night in Gran Via, he follows the DJ, still vibrating from the Techno-Floor, after working all night through the main city street. From there it goes to Verbena and Taboo 3AM on a jump to the Dubstep, Lo-Fi and Trap-Parties. Adrian Rodd's music flirts not only with party goers, but also with people who arrive home late, drawing on his experience as a resident DJ in Madrid's Stardust Club, as well as the sounds and everyday life in the surfing and fishing village directly by the sea.

Between warm waves, Waves mixes local history with a melodic evolution of ambient and urban dance music from Brian Eno to Burial, ending the title track with a film which pays homage to the volcanic landscape of the canary island.

The A-side starts with Laurent Ci’s Brobass, a dancefloor essential crafted with a housey, playful bass, and swingy, carefully arranged percussions. The synths triggered along the track are blending fluently with them.

The A-side continues with Lurre’s Deloc, Pe Loc, a tune for the early mornings, constructed with well chosen, reverberating drum hits and acoustic elements. Lurre’s atmospheric arrangement, with warm pads and vocals, define this track’s final savor.

The B-side begins with Petit Batou’s Surya, an elegant approach on the deep side of electronic music. Surya’s groove is well maintained throughout its whole length by everlasting floating pads and quirky, ludic synths.

2018 has been a busy year so far for Ben Rau, after completing tours worldwide, including standout shows in Australia and South America, he has also found time to launch a new label META alongside his increasingly successful INKAL imprint.

After handing over the reins for the first Meta release to promote new talent and give them a platform to thrive in the form of Rhymos' Seizure EP', Ben brings the heat for the label's second offering with his Marauder' EP.A release that stays true to Ben's dancefloor roots,whilst also displaying a techier big room sound primed for larger dancefloors. The title track Marauder' is a technically impressive affair, full of rolling percussion and expert drum programming , tension builds throughout the track via an eerie swelling synth which finally culminate in an epic break that makes use of delayed vocals before the rolling tech-houser concludes with the a groove heavy finale that let's all the elements shine.

MOTHER RECORDINGS don't let up on the release schedule pressure as they look to returning label artists MAT.JOE for a new two tracker. This Berlin based duo are one of the most talked about duos on the circuit at the moment with releases on Toolroom, Hot Creations, as well as MOTHER in the last 6 months. They also received a best newcomer nomination in the recent DJ Awards for Ibiza and have also had two number 1 Beatport Tech House Hits in 2016. They are known for really cooking up fresh club sounds each and every time they release, and this new BLOW YOUR MIND EP is no different.

DANCE MACHINE goes first and is a rolling house cut with rubbery drums and slick bass. Vocals add fuel to the fire, some colourful melodies bring the soul and the whole thing really will kick start any set and get people on their toes.

Musically, expect the unexpected. Caught In A Bubble will be a creative outlet for sounds ranging from abstract, heady and trippy all the way to almost acoustically organic and groovy.

This year Alin Crihan has been showing many different sides of his musical palette. For the 12th UVAR he pushes the boundaries yet one more time and draws six mind altering musical trips. It was in 2014 when a mutual friend introduced me to Victor Ruiz while he was staying here in Berlin. I invited Victor to my studio where we had a fantastic session, playing our music to each other, listening to stuff we like and simply talkin and connecting. Since then, we became close friends as well as starting to work together. Victor has released two outstanding EPs on Electric Ballroom by now. This summer we met again and recorded three tracks. The result is our first joint EP, of which I am very proud.

First, the original mix produced by Soulfeed gives rise to both very powerful but at the same time subtle tones. Combined with the playful groove that spans the entire track, this mix will measure up to any occasion!

The remix by the NTFO's guys retains the powerful notes from the original mix but allows the track to evolve into a more intense acid like style.

Daniel Dubb takes his mix into a different direction by transforming the sound into a deeper tone. He showcases how deeply the track can become all the while keeping a very organic sound.

‘Empirical Test Vol. I - VA’, our very first release, it’s finally out. Let us show you our minimalistic sonic lab. We believe in tracks for the dancefloor with an eye in experimental and introspective views of electronic music. A1. ‘Frics’ is probably the most well-known work here. Developed by Romanian talent Cojoc it has become a serious festival banger thanks to a killer bassline mixed with an aggressive synthesizer which remains a machine gun. A2. ‘Mal So Mal So’ arrives directly from Switzerland. Produced by Marques Sigi mixing spatial and analog sounds with an exquisite modular electronic sequence. The rhythm is marked by catchy kicks and swift hi hats plus some straightforward pads and effects. Classy and harmonious. B1. ‘Space Runner’ involves Angel Mosteiro and Joel Vazquez —part of Bohrium crew— premiering his first production as Akela. San Francisco’s Manjumasi makes its first foray into wax with the vinyl-only release of History Ate Itself by San Francisco producer and label alumnus R. Fentz. First up on the A-side is the title track - a complex and textured piece, full of intricate percussion and sonic detail. The track evokes a sense of journey, with synth pads building and working through stages of crescendo and release. A percussive, punchy bassline holds steady throughout, giving a sense of time pushing ever-forwards.


Next up on the AA is Glitter, a more light-hearted number with a friendly and inquisitive disposition. As a counterpoint to the urgency and insistence of History, here R. Fentz uses delicate, gentle touches to create an inviting, warm atmosphere. The bubbly groove has a delightfully playful bounce that washes over the listener, with sparkling synth details float over the silky groove as the track works its way forward.

On the flip side, Ukrainian producer Silat Beksi takes on remix duties and delivers a supremely heady and tasteful reworking of Glitter. His version builds a soft bed of pads over a punchy groove. A very tasty dub-filtered synth groove slowly works its way into the mix. The result is a complex and organic sonic tapestry with no shortage of sparkle and shine, but plenty of subterranean depth. Yet another extremely solid offering in this sought-after producer’s vinyl-only catalog.

Back with another instalment from the mysterious TZU imprint. Following in the footsteps of previous releases, this release looks to bring 4 upfront underground cuts but this time adding some vocal flavour. Daniel Sanchez is back to Bad Barbie with an astonishing four track release named Kaddara EP. On the A Side we have Bara Groove first, a fantastic Live Jam session that express nothing else than the creativity, soul and talent of Daniel Sanchez as DJ/Producer. This track presents a superb and sophisticated groove that can easily ignite the crowd at any dance floor with its energy and vibe. As a second track from this side we have Slick Thin Version, which is nothing else than a great No Kick Tool that works as support for any long mix to create an especial moment of tension during the blend of two or more tracks at the same time. Over the B Side we have Dusty MicroHead as first, which is beautiful long run of pure micro-house with a subtle hypnotic vibe that slowly evolves into a fantastic sonic experience with a stunning low-end work. Rising UK talent Jamie Trench returns to Roush to kick start 2018 as he delivers his latest EP 'The Foundation', whilst Robsoul boss Phil Weeks steps up on remix duties.

With releases on the likes of Tsuba, VIVa Music, Kaluki Musik and his own Roots For Bloom imprint, Jamie
Trench's career continues to go from strength to strength, gaining support from the likes of Steve Lawler, Santé
and Sidney Charles through to Brawther, Cinthie and Move D. Having entered into the industry at an early age,
Jamie soon found himself playing at some of Ibiza's most prestigious venues including Space and Zoo Project
and Privilege, going on to play closer to home at The Warehouse Project and Ministry of Sound. Here we see
Trench return to Roush to deliver four fresh productions, whilst Parisian Phil Weeks offers up a classy remix on
the flip.
Title cut 'The Foundation' opens the EP and sees Trench layer organic percussion shots and delicate hats
under an ever-evolving synth lead, before 'Blow The Back Out' unveils a drum infused workout, laying down
tough rolling kicks amongst quirky vocal shots.
Next up, 'Turn You Around' transports listeners to sunnier territories as an influx of bright pads and soulful vocal
hooks work in tandem with garage tinged interludes, whilst Weeks' interpretation introduces the Frenchman's
trademark skipping drums and effortless groove throughout.
For digital purchasers, Trench also offers a dubbed out version of the title track as 'The Dubnation' skillfully lays
the focus on a low-slung groove line and murky undertones.
