Benales opens the E.P. with Radiate, a track where you can clearly hear his influences of the American school of 90s minimal techno. Long time DJ but new on the production side, this is Benales' first effort on vinyl.

After his initial masterpiece on Knotweed Records (KW006) and a handful of releases on Demented (Hiss 1992) and Krill, Opuswerk is back on Knotweed with Displacement, a trippy, hard hitting, analogic techno attack: no concession on this one!

Gonzalo MD has already delivered the goods on both Knotweed (KW004 and KW011) and Decision Making Theory (DMT 006), as well as a fantastic EP recently on Extrasolar. Here, with Sharp Oscillation, he keeps developing his unique style, producing a highly percussive, almost samba-like, piece of techno.
Label owner Philippe Petit closes the E.P. with Indian Summer, a track moving along a warm bassline, bearing some recognisable krautrock influences.

Off welcomes Hybrasil, following up on his releases on labels like Intacto, Break New Soil and Kraftek.

The EP kicks off with "Kapteyne", a dubby bigroom roller.

ONNO takes things slightly deeper with his remix, adapting the track towards the earlier or later hours of the night.

Also "ED209" has an afterhours-ish feel to it with its spacy and dark atmosphere.

time Get Physical associate. Werk It features three more thrilling cuts which prove that, after more than a decade in the game, Thomas Koch is as exciting an artist as ever. The last two years have seen DJ T. put out a couple of great offerings on this label as well as an EP on Truesoul and some limited edition anniversary cuts on Strictly Rhythm. The occasional music writer and Groove Magazine founder has been busy in the booth, too, continuing to headline from Berlin to Russia and plot journeys through the history of house as he goes. Opening the account is the amped-up 'Werk It,' a poly-rhythmic tech cut that encourages you to loosen your limbs as drums, bass and tumbling percussion all jostle out a groove. Riffing vocals add fuel to the fire and clever bass kills add real dynamism. Then comes 'The Pressure', a rich house tune with drums that skip and skate along. Dry hits bring some funk, more well-treated, dehumanised vocals from Johannesburg based slam poet and DFTD and Diynamic associate Lazarusman add another layer to lock onto, while neon chord stabs ensure the whole thing will energise any dance floor. Last but not least, this fine trio of tunes ends with 'On and On', the most elastic of the lot. Big and icy hi hats bring a sense of height as rubbery drums bobble down low and build to a steamy peak before the pressure is released with a big vocal cry which cannot fail to get ravers punching the air. A real dance music historian, T. puts all his years of experience to great use in this latest and greatest release on Moon Harbour.

A big shout out to Terminal M novice Noir who delivers two tracks for Monika Kruse's imprint which can't be more different. 'Perservere' features HRRSN on the mic and is a straight festival techno banger while 'Lost & Broken' with singer Hendrik Burkhard (known for his tracks with Florian Kruse) might be the ideal sunrise sound. Counter Pulse is proud to present the 'The Dish' EP which is the first collaboration of two of Australia's most passionate techno talents, Advanced Human & Trinity.

The duo have delivered two hard-edged dance-floor cuts for this release. First track 'The Dish' is a hypnotic banger with a raw warehouse energy anchored by no-nonsense 4/4 drums. The 2nd track 'Splinter' locks you into a groove with minimal industrial textures and dark dub-focused stabs.

This EP also includes impressive remixes by scene stalwarts Headless Horseman and Mary Velo.

Headless Horseman contributed an explosive remix of 'The Dish' which takes us down a sinister wormhole with the dance floor in mind. Headless Horseman is known for making raw and abrasive dark techno and is one of the most talked-about techno artists of recent years. Having predominately on his own label, we are very fortunate to have this very rare remix from him on the EP.

The Toronto-born, Berlin-based artist Mary Velo is no stranger to the Elektrax family making her 12'-debut on Gynoid Audio with her 'Master Mind' EP. She has also released music on esteemed labels such as Semantica and Diffuse Reality and also performs in highly respected clubs such as Berghain and Tresor. Mary's stripped back version of 'Splinter' takes the track in a deeper direction, a slow burner laced with flowing atmospherics and melodic overtones.

Having been staples of his DJ sets over the past few months Morning fnally sees release on Redlight Music. Berlin-based label boss Denite delivers 2 tech-house killers alongside 1 remix from Italian duoNICe7 and 1 special edit.
Title-track Morning opens up proceedings Redlight Music's 46th release. The catchy and groovy tech house bomb sees a cheeky keyboard melody drive the track forward with groovy percussions, vocal samples and a strong bass line following in tow.
Second original track Sundance sees Denite go on a deeper house trip. Energetic percussion work grooves alongside a deep, electric bass while horns round off the edges of the track. Next up is Italian tag-team NICe7 (Noir Music / D-Floor) who remix Sundance. The duo offer up their acid-house vision of the original track with an evolving acid-soaked bass loop and shuffing drums.
The MEED Edit of Morning closes the record. Recorded live and on the spot by Denite during his performance at MEED Festival in Elche (Spain), we hear Denite deconstructing the track with a slowed-down beat and slurring keyboards. The essence of the original track is kept well and alive, but covered in a lightly
spaced-out electronica veil. Morning is set for a digital and vinyl release March 19th on Redlight Music.

Detour EP is the result after a year of intense studio time and experimentation of a new set up. In these last 12 months there was a slight shift in Pitral's productions, with new hardware providing more edginess and raw acidic techno sounds.

This 12 inch is the result of that new musical signature. 'Detour' original is focused on a strong acid baseline with simultaneously overflowing tune. Voices from 'from the depth of the soul' with 'deep and hard' kicks make for a raw, melodramatic track.

'Meatsuit' builds up steadily, with a mid high rolling kick, lifting up towards off tune strings and a hypnotic leads. In this track Derek develops soundscapes full of dynamics and depths.

On the flipside, Björn Torwellen has remixed 'Detour' and Leghau remixes the second track 'Meatsuit'.

It's the third album on our label and this time we grabbed on the other side of the ocean! The mexican techno native Israel Toledo, who lives these days in Germany, is the man of now and gives us full-on electricity with - 9 Volts . Being effective with less is the formula which works definitely the most. So let's have a short view on Israel: the fundament of his works were done by launching his own techno imprint Assasin Soldier Recordings in 2005 and releasing since more than one decade. Featuring lots of the mexicans underground music producers has gained a proper standing in many of the heavy-weight-players record cases.

The simplicity of the track names reflects the saying that techno music doesn't need any words to communicate, so here we go with V1 (Volt 1) to V8. All tracks are designed by analogue machines and literally - made of steel , therefore it's reasonably pressed on wax. The central themes are spheres and chords in various moods on pounding beats.

The start is something for the epic moments. V1 floats and flies on a sweet-sounding sphere, holds a warm appearance and can be called a real anthem. In the forthcoming tracks, he draws more dusky worlds and builds industrialized shapes and landscapes with rough chords. He varies with tensions in V2 and V3, soaring rhythms for V4 or creaking basses in V5 with timeless synth hooks, as well as a deep and dubby flavour for V6. Number 7 is definitely a peaktime ruler and the last one V8 for the atmosphere in the morning hours.

On top and that's why it's all about 9 Volts, label master Dominik Vaillant will release digitally the ninth piece of this album - it's a remix of V1!

It's time to invite some New Kids' onto the block as Jammhot come very correct with a 4 tracker of what can only be described as Lush' House Music. The EP is a collection of deep, swinging analogue grooves with both feet firmly planted in the Real House Music' sound.

The production duo who are split between both Leeds and London and currently hold a residency with Ape X in Newcastle have previously released on labels like Dirtcrew, Leftroom and fellow rEJEKT favorite Jamie Trench's Root For Bloom imprint.

Und genau darum dreht sich auch Verbalizer, das nun erscheinende Album von Anthony Rother, auf seinem neuen Label Nextdata.

Der Club als abstrakter Raum. Es geht um das Loslassen. Menschen machen sich frei, begegnen einander
und die Musik wird zum gemeinsamen Taktgeber.

Irgendwann nennt Rother diesen Prozess - die Dramaturgie der Ekstase', kann sich dabei aber das Grinsen
nicht verkneifen. - Die Leute sollen mit Verbalizer einfach ihren Spaß haben. Ich stand im Club und fühlte
plötzlich den Sound für dieses Album.

Verbalizer treibt im Raum nach vorn, ohne ins Intellektuelle abzugleiten. Es ist die Geschichte, der Augenblick und das anbrechende Abenteuer einer tanzenden Gesellschaft, irgendwo auf dieser Welt.
- Ich war auf der Suche nach einem expandierenden Klang. Dabei war wichtig, wie ich diesen Sound den Synthesizern in meinem Studio entlocke, so dass dabei eine Kraft entsteht, die alles Weltliche und den Alltag beiseite zu drücken vermag', erklärt Rother den hedonistischen Ansatz von Verbalizer.

Club-Tracks wie diese kommen ihrem Wesen nach ohne erzählerische Inhalte aus. Dennoch sorgen sie

Next up on the gold standard tech house imprint that is Roush, comes label boss himself, Hector Couto. On the Parental Advisory EP, the influential Spaniard has readied four cuts of to-the-point club music that cannot fail to make its mark.

Hector is one of the most respected artists around with a truly global allure for his brand of house music. He has released on labels such as Defected, Moon Harbour, Hot Creations and Get Physical and is no stranger to the finest DJ booths in the world, from Ministry of Sound to Amnesia Ibiza. As such any new music from him warrants deserved excitement.

Proving that once more is excellent opener 'Like This,' a wobbly tech house tune that is full of electronic funk. It has great vocals, swollen bass and siren like synths that really get under your skin and demand you dance. Title track 'Parental Advisory' is a real party starter with wild vocals and jittery drums. Off kilter synth stabs and fat bass all make it a hugely fun and characterful tune that is sure to stand out in any set.

Moving on to the essential 'Old Roots', this one comes laden with retro breakbeats and a dusty sense of groove. Air horns and crisp hi hats all get stitched into the loopy groove and pull you deeper and deeper in with each rotation. Lastly, 'Bubble Gum' comes with a snaking bassline that is tough and rugged. Classic 909 pops and clicks pepper the groove, as do plenty of sweet vocal samples and the result is one hell of a tech tune that sounds like little else.

This is another masterclass in effective, emotive dance music and marks another fine release for both label and artist. The vinyl elease will be accompanied by a digital version featuring an exclusive remix from Sante.

Norse Projekt brings Muninn back for release 004 with his EP called Fornjot, some more minimalistic analogue warmths accompanied by a remix from Fuse resident Rich NxT who adds some lively acidic tones to the track Jarnsaxa.

We are happy to introduce our Second Vinyl - Excuse Fear EP. This time it's gonna be solo EP by really talented musician from Spain - EQUAL aka Dakpa.

Marc Leclair aka Akufen, has long been considered one of electronic music's most fascinating producers. An early pioneer of the so-called 'microhouse' sound, he's perhaps best known for his work on Perlon and aside from Akufen, his Horror Inc. alias. His latest comes at us from emerging Italian label, Telharmonic Texture. The label's third release (following releases by Jeff Samuel and Paradroid ft. a remix by label boss, Pressure Point), 'Music 2 Wiggle 2' sees the Canadian perk up with three original tracks. As always with Akufen, they're striking in their originality and level of detail especially. 

A new mysterious label emerges from the grey outskirts of Romania - Eightyfive Records pinpoints the time period in which the musicians were born, a mixture of groovy industrial revolution beats and post-communist moody themes. Because the EP is presented under full anonymity, you'll be the dancing judge of how these artists showcased a few childhood memories.

The somewhat eccentric notions carried in Tiny Nut', through his trickling hi-hats and descending basslines, creates a wonderful deep house exoticism, that you may find easy to lose yourself in. Somewhere in the middle we find a jacking vocal cut bringing us from under the trees for a brief moment in time. Earthy sounds make this track warm and enticing, but don't assume it's not dance floor material, because it is!

This is the second episode of our Various Artists serie.
The Fallen (a collaboration between Plural (James Johnson) and FBK (Kevin Kennedy)) opens the E.P. with Interference, a fast paced killer hypnotic dance floor friendly dub track: they create a sound that is unique, fluid and extremely danceable.
Philippe Petit follows with Exposed, a stripped down, bleepy bass-heavy rhythmic piece of techno.

French imprint A-TRACTION Records returns with a new EP from Marst late June, featuring two original compositions and one remix from Moteka.

Marst has been releasing music since 2012 via the likes of Kevin Saunderson's KMS Records, John Digweed's Bedrock and French Techno imprint A-TRACTION Records. Here we see Marst return to the latter with an exciting new project further showcasing his melodious, deep techno style which has seen heavy support from French electronic music pioneer Laurent Garnier since his humble beginnings.

Up first is title track 'Nanga' which sees Marst blend square wave arpeggios and an amalgamation of delayed staccato synth stabs with weighty rhythms and sporadic organic percussive rolls. The 'Vocal Mix' of 'Future' follows and embraces a deeper aesthetic via elongated sub drones, tuttering bass hits and snaking resonant lead hook, whilst psychedelic vocal murmurs further fuel its heady vibe.

Fellow Frenchman Moteka (Flash Recordings / Children Of Tomorrow) then turns in his first interpretation next with 'Remix 21' taking a more robust approach with pounding drums, murky atmospheric sweeps and vacillating synth chimes which ebb and flow throughout the groove. This year, A-TRACTION Records celebrate their 15th birthday... Let's celebrate with them !!

Digital Traffik is back with its third release of 2016. This last vinyl of this year is completing the serie dedicated of the "10 years label birthday " celebration. Also on this Ep four new artists are on board : Marco Effe, Alexandar Ivkovic, Neverdogs and CLiVe. 'Weird Tales' is the Marco Effe track, an incredible artist of Digital Traffik family and founder of his own "Impress" party on Watergate Berlin. We're hitting a milestone with Barac, one of the most recognizable and loved of our counterparts, presenting When We See One'.

A riddled and twisted voyage that starts off with A song written for Reny', setting the mood with some atmospheric and scatty beats layered over a constant harmonic. Next up, we Maintain Eye Contact', focusing in and getting dirty down with it. The organic and upbeat side of Barac takes root with Cantacea celor 3 tineri', and finally we break even with Toponimul', closing in on the jungle habitat.

Pheek returns with a rare vinyl EP and makes a bold statement in dropping fresh new tunes that will please any adventurous DJs. While groovy, the tracks mark Pheek's usual, very intricate and bizarre but always reliable dancefloor material.

Starting off on this first release, Berlin based duo The Willers Brothers, deliver two very strong originals on the A-side. On the B-flipside, Nick Beringer and Mike Sharon put their craft on the remixes to complete an allround debut package.

The long awaited Couple Affair series returns to Steyoyoke in full glory. In this series, Soul Button, Clawz SG, BLANCAh, Nick Devon and JOBE tie in their craftsman skills to unveil this fascinating four track vinyl release.

'Implicit Bias' by Soul Button and Clawz SG opens the series with this masterful track. Deep bass lines meld with an infectious beat, while delicate melodies encourage wandering thoughts. Next, JOBE teams up with Soul Button paving way for the second track titled, 'Umar'. Gradually heating up, it invites on a journey through an abundance of progressive beats and synths, infused with melodic flares. Third track, 'Rasante" by BLANCAh and Nick Devon, captivates the listener with scenes of alien realms and peculiar but thoughtful orchestra of sounds. Closing the series is a collaboration between Clawz SG and BLANCAh titled, 'Ravens'. Its pulsating rhythm edged in by mystical calls and synth echoes, will leave you hypnotized.

012 is a new step into Claudio PRC's sound journey, an immersive tale that follows his previous LP's, Inner
State and Volumi Dinamici, in which the sound research and the compositional form are distinctive elements
of the production. With its characteristic tension and minimal approach it oscillates through deep, pulsating
and atmospheric techno, rising slowly in the surface, to warmer and brighter places, like flowing water.

This is the second edition of the compilation series of the Tijuana based club Wherehouse. Curated by Soul Of Hex, gathers sounds of his friends, Roman Rauch (Philpot), Moony Me (Uncanny Valley), and a collaboration between NY*AK & Mark Hand (Technicolour). Starting off the record, ''Mindeasy'', is a slap bass jam funk (played by Soul Of Hex himself) melodic arpeggios, and tr 707 percussive works. On the second track of the A side, it follows with ''Eu4ia'', a MPC groover, composed of rhodes and uplifting sophisticated beats. On the other side we have ''Daydreamin'', which is a R&B influenced track, feel good created by the venezuelan born, Eduardo Arreaza aka Moony Me. ''Can't You See'' is a slow groover, full tremolo rhodes played by Mark Hand and beats by the magician, NY*AK. The concept is simple, this is hand crafted computer music, as shown in the artwork, made for the eternity.

L.E.T. Music`s first Release is delivered by turkish Producer Dogukan Ires. In " Missed Concert " he takes you on a journey in his own world, filled with minimalistic percussions, cords and jazz influenced melodies.

Italian born and Berlin based Topper transforms " Missed Concert" into what he is known for best, a powerful minimalistic fast forward groove.

In "Farilya", Dogukan shows his very own production skills, in taking you deep in to this bass and piano flavoured, melody driven track.

Swiss Producer Markus Kenel took this vibe and turned "Farilya" in a dancefloor oriented peak time bomb, but not without loosing the depth of it.

When Neon was originally released on Datapunk in 2006, it was a landslide. Being championed by Sven Väth for ages (and being one of the tracks that were the soundtrack to his notorious vocal performance at Time Warp that very year) - it was the track that ultimately cemented Gregor´s status as one of the main representatives for a new breed of Techno producers by inventing a trademark sound that shaped the path to the future. With the original recording being carefully remastered in Ljubljiana by Gregor Zemljic with greatest precision, this new version brings that trademark sound to life once again - or has it ever been away really

On the flipside we have a remix by another notorious heavyweight: Butch! His version, originally sketched not so long after the original came out, takes the melodies of the original track to the housier floors. When Butch sent his version to Gregor a little bit over a year ago it actually established the idea of a re-release.

Definitive tech house talent Nick Curly is back with the first of many exciting new releases for 2017. Entitled Amnezia, it comes on 8Bit, his most long running label, and packs a real punch. By now, Curly has a refined signature sound that keeps people dancing all over the world. His productions continue to come on esteemed labels like Truesoul, Drumcode and Hot Since 82's Knee Deep in Sound, and he remains an in-demand remixer as well as busy DJ who plays everywhere from Ministry of Sound to TimeWarp Mannheim to Warung Beach Club. Also keeping busy with his own events series Trust, this German tastemaker has never been busier. The standout title track is a robust affair with tightly coiled drums, slick and funk inducing hits and lots of building tension and masterful release. It is the sort of locked-on groove that keeps floors pumping for days. The excellent 'Second Lick' is less physical and direct and instead goers deeper. It is riddled with emotive synth lines and has train track drums and perc that you simply cannot ignore. With rich and rubbery sub bass propping up the whole thing, this one is sure to make a mark. This is another landmark release from Nick Curly that is sure to be the sound of the spring and summer to come.

Leftback 013 introduces a contemporary series dedicated to bringing through new artists and friends of the label. Internal Connections Volume 1' delivers 4 tracks of stripped back grooves, dark melodic tones and organic instrumentation. Dudley Strangeways & Michael McLardy set the trend on A1 with a building roller using delayed stabs from the main hook that teases its way in towards the end of the track. A2 is by Midlands based DJ and producer Bunny, who plays regular slots at Birmingham's Rainbow venues as well as being resident for Social Underground and has played alongside the likes of Raresh, Fuse, East End Dubs & Sonja Moonear. Bunny supplies a stripped back groove focusing on the rhythm, with intricate hi hat patterns that counter with the bassline. Szymon Wnuk provides nine minutes of deep and twisted minimal for B1 that uses sparse rising base and an understated kick drum that carries the track. B2 welcomes Leftback resident Chris Boardman on his production debut that rounds the EP off with a heavier techno leaning feel that compliments the rest of the EP well. VINYL ONLY.

Dialtone Records' maiden vinyl release 'Summoning Spirits' is a bold way to get the club-hungry, weekend masses moving - and may even go as far as getting nods from full-time electronic nerds in the process. Comprising four original tracks from artists releasing on labels such as Diynamic and Crosstown Rebels, I can't help but feel that their first impression in wax, focusing on the more melodic side of deep house and softer techno is a positive sign of things to come from this Mexican-based outfit.

The radical cover art work by Canadian artist Jason Botkin presents the EP like an R18 DMT cartoon, a bright yet complex way to present everything that lies within it to the world.

All in all, the tracks do not write chapters for the same novel, but in this case it doesn't matter, it's joint by its eclectic moods and melodic structures. This release which will have people asking whose behind it, where they're hanging out this weekend and when they're gonna bring out the next load of YES to our ears.

Andre Crom is back with what are likely to be the biggest club trax of his career so far.

'Circuit' and 'Breaker' are peaktime techno tools with overdriven drums, relentlessly functional arrangements, and a massive dancefloor potential.

'Circuit' builds with a strong bass fundament consisting of a woofer-shattering kick and a syncopated low-tom-bassline, adding interchanging percussion patterns and the name-giving vocal, before resolving into siren-style synth sweeps which build into the break.

'Breaker' relies on a similar mainroom techno drum pattern, but replaces the vocal and synth for an energetic acid bassline, sure to fuel every dancefloor with a rush of energy, and reminiscing of 90ies-techno.

Vitalik continue their vinyl Gold Series with another gold standard release. For the forthcoming VITNYL003 Clive Henry drops a fifteen minute long opus on a single sided limited edition vinyl.'My Fifteen Minutes of Fame' is contrastingly raw in it's production and sublime in composition. It's gentle meandering melodies float over a warm bed of muted pads and analogue bass.

Vivus Records, the underground South German label, invites London-based and RLZ Music label boss Rowlanz for an acid-infused journey thourghout some minimal streets.

Having received constant support from the likes of Gescu, Barac or Archie Hamilton, Rowlanz is a name you should keep an eye on in the future and it is fitting that he has decided to collaborate with Melodie, a young Romanian prodigy that has had a quite meteoric rise in the past year.

We kick things off with Laniakea which is full of brisk grooves with just a pinch of an acid feeling to it that will get you moving accordingly. The hi-hats and subtle bassline complete each other to a mesmerising effect and the background sounds give a lovely deepness to the track.

The stunning vocals on 312 act as a reminder that you can always expect a surprise from Rowlanz and he is in full creative mode here. You can almost imagine the radiant energy boost that this track would give to dance floor enthuasiasts after a long night with a dark atmosphere.

Melodie's interpretation of 312 has the Romanian's trademark sound all over it: acid sounds covered with a strong but linear bassline that floats all over the song.

THE ARTIST

CrossNineTroll is a talented Hungarian DJ/producer duo. They formed back in 2011. The two friends are well known artists of the Hungarian electronic dance music scene since the mid of 90's. Their sound is influenced mostly by house and techno, with a modicum of the oldschool sound. Both together and separately have played in most of the local and lot of international clubs and festivals. Their most successful track so far is called Wanna Say' released on BUTCH's label BOUQ. The track was prominent on the label and had lately become the labels 3rd bestseller track of 2013. LOCO DICE played this track for over 12 months. Furthermore, it was played and charted by the likes of DUBFIRE, REBOOT, STEVE LAWLER, etc.. Strong releases followed on VIVa MUSiC Limited, PLANT74, Hi!Fly RECORDS and many others. The CrossNineTroll guys are constantly working hard on new productions in their studio and promising a lot of surprises in the upcoming years. Let's keep our fingers crossed, as they have the talent and deserve it!

Taking a look at his ridiculous summer schedule and the massive successful release of his latest EP on NIC FANCIULLIS - SAVED RECORDS imprint called NO SLEEP, we are even more happy that he found the time to deliever us this monster of a remix. By adding a sick funky bassline and and some air cutting sharp hi-hats, he takes the original track to a totally different level. Following up our previous Daniel Sanchez release, we are more than proud to have for this one the Impropmtu Remixes EP edition which includes 4 fantastic remixes by Nima Gorji, Martinez, Doubtingthomas and Faster. The first track is Nima's remix from Pearled Into Droplets in which he created an exceptional base with a prominent tech rhythm, in which we can perceive a few percussion layers that work amazingly with the original synths. Those synths create an incredible atmosphere as they softly evolve in a slow progression during the track, creating tension and release, exactly when is needed. The whole minimalistic approach brings a more than suitable vibe that is driven by a rock solid bass line too. The second remix is from Martinez, who also worked over Pearled, but he went through a more experimental and deeper road with an exquisite re-interpretation, in which the articulations created between the several percussive sounds are beautifully placed in such way that, alongside the synth pad in the backend, creates a superb hypnotic vibe and groove. The third remix is from Daniel's track Yi and was charge of Doubtingthomas, who flawlessly captured the primal essence of the original track with a superb twist in the rhythmic side, in which he created an amazing blend between of minimal house and deep, that easily immerses the listener into a powerful trip. This remix also presents several melodic elements working together with the original track sounds, like the strings during the break and synth pads, which adds a beautiful musical and organic feeling to the remix. The last and not least of the remixes is also from Yi, but in charge of the talented producer Faster, who also took as working base the ambiences and textures from the original track to create a subtle and beautiful minimalistic vibe alongside the percussive elements. The most distinctive sound of his remix is the electric synth riff, which adds soft craziness, and lays the ground perfectly for the hypnotic percussions to take place later on the track, which also finishes the remix's groove exquisitely.

He worked with Vicentiulian, Arapu, Suolo, Yaroslav Lenzyak, Kaitaro and many more who support his style, now expressing him self with industrial synths & breaks in Decent (A1), taking us on a journey of soundwaves all the way to his darkest corners of imagination, filled with liquid textures & ambiental backgrounds of minimalistic depth. To top it of in our artistic approach, we bring you this unique 100% romanian cover, "Necromæns" painted with acrylics on canvas by talented Anita Frâncu. German producer Philipp Priebe is set to release his latest work, Our Sins, on Beirut based label Fantôme de Nuit.


Philipp Priebe is a romantic and this rare attribute, at least in the world of electronic music, lies at the center of the music that he creates. The German producer combines warm, melancholic sounds with pushing elements to create a whimsical blend of organic and mechanic attributes. His first release on Fantôme de Nuit is a testament to his ability to create.


Preibe opens his latest release with 'Above You', and the leading track is an excellent representation of the German House sound. Beginning with some almost jacking drum programing, a fat bass line quickly joins the arrangement. The track continues to build over the next minute and then, like a breath of fresh air, melodic pads provide a whimsical like quality. Preibe spends the remainder of the track building and breaking it down, each time adding a bit of life to the brooding opener.


'Kyoto' is a spaced out slow burner that packs some serious punch. Lead by acid dipped keys, the track features a barrage of ambient blips that create an atmosphere deserving of only the best systems. 'Nara' veers away from its two predecessors and ventures into more techy territory. Layered with blips and
complex drum programming, 'Nara' takes the listener to another dimension before bringing them back down again.


Priebe saves the title track for last, but it's well worth the wait. Built around a single kick and a wealth of delay, 'Our Sins' slowly builds up around itself. By the time the vocal sample comes in it's too late, the listener is completely enveloped. The dubby bassline pushes the track forward and some clever chords keep it tight. And just when it should drop, Phiebe breaks it apart. Dropping the tempo, Phiebe slows the journey to a standstill for just long enough before the kick returns to keep the party going.

Remix duties are taken care of by Alex Under from Spain. After Patrick's 12' on Alex's CMYK Musik it was time to invite Alex into his community and Alex delivered big time. Alex refines the main ideas in the track, boiling it down to a solid groove and adding a killer bass riff that sounds like it was meant to be there all along.

After the success of the 'Abused V.a.' that dropped last winter, Samani return with their second vinyl release. In the last few years the label - founded by F.eht - has grown in leaps and bounds, with many digital releases climbing charts and bringing new artists to light.A:The opening track titled 'Conduccion' is a production from Slovenian based artist, and Innocent Music label-head Aney. F. One for the dance floor, this track is full of energy and builds and evolves perfectly. Aney's sound has spread across the world in the last few years and this record is a perfect example of why his music has become so popular in the scene.The second track on Side A is one that takes us darker and deeper. Cicuendez has set a heavy vibe for his track '5 Years'. The elements that make up this track come together perfectly and form a well rounded thumping production. Not only are we happy to hear this production on Samani, but we also look forward to hearing more from this talented producer in the future.B:F.eht has stepped forward to open up the flip side with a remix of Aney's track on Side A, this time offering a slightly different vibe whilst keeping the energy on offer tom the original. This is another one fit for the club, and one that show's how far the head of Samani has come in the last few years.Finally, 'Jessabelle'. This production by Battric & MIVU is a real roller, you only have to listen to the choppy bassline to realise that. The breakdown half way through the track uses some really crisp synths to lighten the mood, before breaking back in to a slightly evolved version of the main body of the track. This duo are definitely a pair to look out for this year. SMNI002 is 100% one for the record bag, and will be one heard across the world in future months.
