Our next bomb by Pablo Bellegrini comes together with a massive remix by Freedom B!

It has been busy months for Chi Thanh and after he remixed Booka Shade and Deux
Tigres on Mood Music and also after releasing a few Beatport smashes with his
production and DJ partner Andre Crom, Chi Thanh returns to OFF with his next solo
EP: RAIN.

The first song 'Let It Rain' takes us on a melancholic and mysterious journey where
clubbers are encouraged to 'let go of the past and let the rain wash away the pain'.
After a deep intro and the anthemic breakdown the song erupts in a techno-synth
frenzy while still maintaining a dark and rainy feel.

The second track 'No One Else' is a groovy percussive tech-house song which also
takes a turn in the breakdown, where deep vocals meet an acid-synth and melt
together in a techy final showdown.

The final track of the EP is a collaboration of Chi Thanh with his good friend and
labelmate Florian Kruse of Kruse & Nuernberg fame.

Together they stir up a 'tech-funk' track which lets the listeners hang on a crazy
weird synth-line for a few minutes until the song erupts in a funky bass-heavy tech
groove that takes no prisoners!

This RAIN EP is a worthy follow-up to his successful last EP STONE and takes
things to the next level for all parties involved.

The next Celeste Release comes from Benn Finn with their great track "Kind of Man". With two Remixe by Andlee and Adam Stacks.

Fader Ranger - the amalgamation of Chicago's Nick Maurer and London's Neville
Attree - are set for exceptional things in 2014. With their debut album coming in the
Autumn on hfn music, the duo have been honing their dynamic, affecting sound, ready
for a full-scale assault on the senses.
Following their debut single ‚Be On The Lookout' on hfn music, the impressive remix
package is now released on hafendisko, the realigned subsidiary for the more club-oriented
releases and mixes.
First up is Berlin's techno gentleman Ed Davenport, who delivers a signature slice of
brooding Berghain-esque techno goodness, with plenty of grit and menace thrown in.
Avant-garde dance-floor pioneer LOPAZZ joins up with Hawaii-based Willis Haltom
to rework the track in a completely different direction -a spacey, drifting slow burn into
the cosmos. Their work comes in two versions - a vocal and dub, while Vincenzo also
drops a proto-house/electro rework that highlights Faded Ranger's new wave leanings.
Also included is the boys' Faded Rethink remix from the original release - their
clubby version that has been doing serious damage to dance-floors in the know for a
while now.

At a young age still influenced by U.S. HipHop stars such as N.W.A., Public Enemy or Run DMC, the love to electronic music has also been growing over the years. Sebastian Phillip has since appeared in numerous prestigious clubs in the country and also at the Berlin Loveparade. Since his studio debut in 2009, much has developed. Most notably his sound, which he now wants to finally present to the crowds - with the help of the 'People In The Club EP'.

Of course with this title, we all expect club music here and this also comes into effect immediately - pumping, driving and always addressed with a focus on the groove. Ben Anders puts more emphasis on melody and harmony passages in his remix, but not working besides the main theme. In addition, Sebastian offers 'Love' as well, a track with tribal influences and a great idea of the main motif. To round it up, the remix of Lorraine continues right there.

His successful combination of Techno, House, Minimal and Tech-House reflects a diverse range of sounds. It's a great feeling to dance and celebrate to Sebastian's music - especially in the club - and exactly for those people there 'People In The Club' has been produced.

Younger generation of established talents from Slovenia is standing, beyond
quality sound and great ideas of today's clubbing scene...Ales Furlan aka. F.Sonik is one
of them. In the swirl of nightlife he has been increasing attention on himself, especially
with quality and distinctive tech-house sound. He is developing and outstanding his
talent through his own music stages, which led him to the closest genre where he fits in
the best way. Although he stresses out that he doesn't want to be defined under a
specific genre, because he wants to offer his best music selection, so that the audience
will enjoy through the whole evening. He still remains faithful to the underground
clubbing scene, which for many clubbers still remains the only genuine and "valid" one.
Living in a hip-hop environment, his passion for graf is very quickly replaced by
that of Djing. When he turns fifteen, he decides to invest in the appropriate material to
be able to start «playing vinyls»In the nineties, attracted by the phenomenon of raves
and the eletro movement, he gets influenced by Techno, Trance and Hard Tech. While
going to house parties in his area, he gradually starts to get a few bookings to carry out

Illogical Directions The Remixes Part 2
Things are about to get even more profound, proves Jerome Sydenham with his remix of Wo Wei. Originally a simple, funk filled groove, the New York veteran creates a straight up house classic out of this bonus track, beautifully build around elegant synth lines and sounds that seem to come out of drum computer heaven.

If that isn't enough, Dutch own Tom Trago also takes a shot at Essence, this time evolving into a slow burning moment of euphoria, broken house music from the deep, it's as vivacious as it can get. Finally, 'mister Dial' Lawrence takes care of Panomanic again, letting piano chords take over a delicate rhythm before the music moves into faraway, melancholic atmospheres, a more than fitting complement to Shinedoe's creation.

Italian producer Thomas A.S. is set to release his latest EP, 'North Lake', on the rising Beirut based label Fantôme de Nuit.

Not one for elaborate biographies or fancy press packs, twenty­something year old Italian producer Thomas A.S. simply prefers to let his music speak for him. And when you are constantly releasing tracks
like the ones that make up his upcoming North Lake EP, a string of fancy words are the last thing you need.

Thomas opens up his latest with North Lake', the EP's title track, and wastes no time at all. Clocking inat over nine minutes, others might ease into a release, but A.S. gets straight to business. With a massive kick propelling the opener forward, the young Italian constructs his track around the big four­to­the­floor beat. Crisp percussion gives way to spacey stabs, before a perfectly executed vocal sample freshens things up again. Make no mistake, the track is a long one, but its durations passes by like nothing, ultimately compelling the listener to rewind this absolute belter.

Every Time You Fall' begins with a mix of smart clanks and some big waves of bass. The two work together to envelope the track and by the time to kick drops in, you're already nodding along. Significantly darker than the opener, Every Time You Fall' has a menacing vibe. Thomas continues to build and break the track down, each time introducing a new element to the party. It's easy to imagine the track going off at the darkest of clubs in the early hours of the morning.

Nick Devon is first to step up on remix duties with his interpretation of North Lake'. Although the mix takes more of techy twist, it's the enormous bass lines that really stand out here. His use of heavy delay and clever pads make for a delightful build up just before the track drops out near the halfway point.Reduced to bare percussion and and a deep synth line it floats in mid air for seconds before slamming back to reality.

London based duo Daylomar wrap the release up with their take on Every Time You Fall'. Stripping thethe track down to its most prominent features, the duo introduce some clever drum programming to mix things up. Their version of Thomas' menacing b­side, is significantly lighter and offers a beautiful variation to the original mix. The use of airy synths breathe new life into the original and make for a remix with legs of its own.

After the launch of Jannowitz Records and its Madness Compilation release in the beginning of this year, the label impressively reports back with Patrik Berg's new track "Differently". It is a groovy Techno tune that will encourage the listeners to dance. The remixers that Jannowitz Records procured are not less impressive. None other than Mike Wall himself contributes a remix to the release that comes straight to the point. Another remix is being contributed by newcomer Florian Frings who enriches Richie Hawtin's label Minus. These tracks, each having their own style, make the release a truly special one.

Cordoba based producer Ezequiel Esley's Lazer Shots EP, complete with a remix from Nadia Popoff, is set to become the inaugural release Beirut based label Fantôme de Nuit.

Rising star Ezequiel Esley has been given the honour of the first release on the new Fantôme de Nuit imprint. The young Cordoba based selector is at his best here, serving up two original tracks and calling on the talented Nadia Popoff to come in with the remix.
'Eze' opens up his new release with the title cut, 'Lazer Shots'. Clocking in at over ten minutes, 'Lazer Shots' is a track of epic proportions. Opening up with a solitary brooding synth, it continues to grow for the next two minutes. Sprinklings of ambient glitch and spacey stabs make for a bumpy, dubby rhythm that carry the listener forward. As the track progresses we're treated to intergalactic synths and cryptically filtered vocals. Across the tracks ten, sultry minutes Esley continues to show off his credentials as a top notch producer.
'Submarine' is a B-side with some serious attitude. Featuring some serious low-end, Esley has crafted a true late night burner. The track is ripped forward by a mean bass line. Again the producers uses ambient vocals to create a sense of atmosphere, this time one of the darkest nature. Esley lays a touch of acid and a the slightest wobble to round off a truly menacing effort.
Argentinian leading lady Nadia Popoff steps up on remix duty and delivers her own techy interpretation of 'Lazer Shots'. Using a loan kick drum, Popoff constructs, deconstructs and reconstructs the tracks over its eight minute duration. Her drum programming is top notch and her distinctly South American sound can be heard throughout.

Garibovic is one of the hotest new starz shooting for a well deserved
succes. His new ep is mostly a mixture of nudisco and electronic beats
that are glued together quite nicely.

Even better, Garibovic seems great at picking not only the hottest,
but best remixers around. Washerman provides a deep as can be mix that
is catchy enough mix to hook nearly anyone. Prime time dancefloor
magic or leather chair relaxation music, this mix is pure ice. Clean
vocals, electronic bells, reverse warm pads, and echoes galore are in
great abundance throughout the track. Both a workout for your body and
your mind, the mix is one of those that you can listen to at your
house and not wonder when its over. In fact, I was quite dissapointed
when it was over... Sergio Santos&Tamer Malki are amazingly talented at
what they do, and this one only proves it more so. Many tracks appeal
to one producer, but this is one of the rare ones that will appeal to
everyone. Superb rhythm , sounds, and atmosphere throughout, well
worth checking out.

It is hard to believe that it has been a full three years since our great friend Paul Ritch last featured on SCI+TEC with his awesome Circus EP. Well, he's back and bringing us a truly epic new single... PULSE.

With its machine gun snare and omnipresent bass pulse, the eleven minute (to the second) monster begins. The firing rounds of the drum and intense single note synth spark a flurry of sound before the track drops again with Ritch creating a chasmic feel, greatly enhanced by the hollow bongo riff that seems to echo within the great expanse. 

Ron Costa takes on the remix challenge. Tightening the track with his thumping kick drum and vocal tricks, he creates a ripping groove that perfectly complements Paul's original. 

Robosonic has been a pivotal part of Off Recordings roster, their releases being highly expected every time and usually meaning instant dancefloor melting magic. With a hip hop and techno background and adding many frequent flyer miles with worldwide gig schedule, the pair shows no sign of stopping. This time is no exception, Cord and Sacha get back in their creative roll of sample wizardry to provide two mouth watering jams. They once again prove their love for organic sounds and reivindicate the use of the turntable as an instrument, adding that old-school vibe to their trademark beats.
'Macho Madness" is quite a trip, sweet rhodes over a bouncy bassline, great sample work adding guitars and an insane speech. As always, breakdowns are intense and its impossible not to dance to the groove!
For the second track, Robosonic joins another Off family team, Mat.Joe and together they go deep into their hip hop influences again working the samples as only they could, a little disco flavor, a driving bass...All the ingredients are there for another instant classic and a respectful shout out to Detroit producer legend J Dilla, who left the game too early. R.I.P!

Borrowed Music return to wax see's a release that very nearly didn't see the light of day. Between the years of 1995-99, Toka project were writing tracks at DiY's studio and releasing EP's with their label, S4G. These tracks were stored on DAT Tape (remember) and left for release at a later date. When the Toka boys moved into their own place the DATS were misplaced and presumed lost for good. Unknown to anyone at the time, the tracks had simply been placed on a hard drive and forgotten about, until now. So, Borrowed is very proud to present a slice of unreleased 90s House just the way we like it and only on Vinyl for now......

Following last May's label kick-off in the form of JSSL's 'Fake Facade' EP, FORMAT Records now invites Dutch prodigy Qindek for its sophomore release, which is backed up with an excellent remix by Swedish techno veteran Pär Grindvik. Having already released a slew of high quality cuts in the past few years, Qindek's definitely no stranger to the realms of deep and fiery techno. His delivery for FORMAT Records kicks off with 'Pigeon Dance', an intense and very hypnotic track built around deceivingly playful acid wobbles and a no-nonsense techno groove. Expect things to get nasty on the dancefloor when this one's dropped.
Pär Grindvik's rework of 'Pigeon Dance' is a slightly heavier affair that rips out the acid bassline from the original while taking things to new heights with its merciless big room techno kick.
Closing the EP is 'Everflood', another original Qindek cut that sees the producer popping in a beefy funk-infused bomb, with several layers of bass stabs and percussion bits creating a track that has 'peak-time' written all over it.
With this excellent second release FORMAT Records is set to continue its headstrong view on techno...

A year or so after launching and Silence in Metropolis has already garnered a great reputation for its
inventive house music. Here the label turns to JMF for a new EP featuring remixes from Rekreation and
Dudley Strangeways.

JMF, who has remixed for this label before now, is a midlands based producer who pushes an
underground, distorted sound and takes inspiration from people like Rio Padice, Mike Huckaby and Kris
Wadsworth. Back To You, Holic Trax, Static Audio and Kote have all released his music and Luciano and
Ritchie Hawtin have leant support.

Opening track 'Point To Yourself' is a wiry and sinewy bit of house with squelchy synth lines and lively hi
hats. The chunky drums form a nice propulsive bed and the twitchy textures sure keep your synapses
firing throughout.

On remix duties is ReKreation aka James Hill and Ben Morling, the Manchester based duo that has had
music signed to Noir Music, Pura Music and Save Room. Their re-rub of the track is a more airy, spaced
out and serene affair with a firing Whitney vocal and elastic basslines that bring plenty of dynamism to the
table.

JMF's other original is 'Room 2', a taught dubbed out house affair that's all grey buffed metal textures and
bulbous steel basslines. They sound drunk as they lazily undulate and the percussion up top is beautifully
grainy. This is a perfectly paced early evening warm up tune that is impossible not to bounce to.

Dudley Strangeways, who has been impressing with his LeftBack label, steps up to remix 'Room 2' and
brings his usual tough house aesthetic to the table. His beats are bulky, his synths are widescreen and
searching and the roomy arrangement allows them plenty of room to breath. It's a classy bit of dub.

Once more here Silence in Metropolis offer up forward thinking house that is fresh, well produced and right
on the money.

Following on from releases by Hector Couro, Ben Mono and Origins Sound, comes the latest chapter in the Definition:Music imprint, as old-school house revivalist Jus Nowhere joins forces with the label for the gorgeous, stupendous sounds of the Reignition EP.

A release that stays true to to the label's impressive ethos of promoting both established and fledgling producers, the EP is indicative of house music in its most multilayered and fascinating form. Opener ''Reignite'' is an impressive sojourn through the murky depths of 90's house music, with its bulbous sound one that veers left and right and upside-down from start to finish. In other words, it features surprises aplenty, and in that essence, it's the perfect track with which to introduce the EP.

Hausick then dives aboard the remix ship for an effort that evokes further connotations with retro pastures. The Tunisian native lets the bassline shine on his outing, as a series of captivating bleeps play a meticulous and most important role on his remix of ''Reignite''.

On ''Hip House'', the EP's given a moment's respite thanks to the gloriously spaced out sounds that lumber throughout, before final track ''Shameless'' comes up trumps with a garage/house hybrid that's tough not to fall head over heels with. Another victory for Definition, a label that's fast becoming a more than solid place for spectacular house offerings.

Dylan draws his inspiration for this release from the Dutch word "Kattegat" which find its heritage way back in the 8th century when the Vikings first set sail and reign down to conquer West Europe. Kattegat is that narrow passage in the Baltic Sea that connects Scandinavia with the North Sea.

The two Kling Klong chiefs Martin Eyerer & Rainer Weichhold decided to give more space to new talents and this time it's their new discovery Vangelis Kostoxenakis from Greece. With his fabulous sound design, unbeatable musicality and great sense for effective floor fonctionality this decision was rather easy. Also thanks to an additional remix by defected artist David Herrero this release looks like a great start for this new chief in the making.

For its fifth release, full-fledged Amsterdam-based imprint FORMAT have called upon Argentinean producer Flug to deliver four floor-rocking techno bombs...With four excellent releases under its belt, FORMAT Records have successfully established itself as a prime source to turn to when it comes to stripped-down and hard-rocking techno. Arriving at its fifth outing, the label reaches out to the South Americas for a superb ensemble of volatile floor frenzy across four brand new tracks. Opening things is the title track, which sets the tone for the rest of the EP's content by laying down a merciless groove carved out of bare rhythm essentials and a series of warped FX that takes no prisoners. Follow-up tracks 'Drones' and X-Pansion' both shed a different light on the producer's taste for headstrong four-to-the-floor techno, after which closing track 'In Tension' turns to the off-beat side of techno with its uncompromising industrial atmospherics.
With this fifth release, FORMAT Records are sure to do damage on the floors once again...

The second Cyanide pill comes by the skilled hands of Robort Needs Oil. This experienced Polish chemist is well known for his previous works on labels like Acker, Artreform or Jett. This time he offers us two different tracks for two different moods: The title track 'Coco The Cat' is an effective funky house dancefloor cracker, spiced with an incredible hypnotic latin-jazz organ.


On the other hand, 'Tempranillo' is an awesome melodic tech house masterpice. Sweet as an Spanish red wine, is a clear winner in this upcoming summer open airs. The first remixer that we find is Junior Gee (8 Bit, Material Series), who strips down 'Coco the Cat'and transforms it into a solid tech house dj tool. Meanwhile Marc de Vole and Boss Axis join forces and create a massive peaktime version of 'Tempranillo'.

"Cracks" is one of those tracks that turn the club upside down with great flow in
drums and percussion and a catchy house organ lick all brought up to the next level

"Stabs", on the flipside, takes a deeper approach and, as the name indicates, is filled
with an overgrowing progression of synths and strings that make it

Midi Mood Record's welcome Italian producer DJ Manfred, to the label roster, showcasing a collaboration featuring the beautiful vocals of Sanna Hartfield. The EP is a melodic exploration of the deeper side of house with elements of dub and chilled beats fused with powerful tech house grooves. Käse Kool's 7th release comes from the Berlin based producer Nick Beringer. The Passage EP delivers nothing short of 4/4 House with a selection of four unique Deep pumping tracks seamlessly cut on a 12"

German melodic techno producer Oovation aka Peter Bonaventura has had a brilliant year. Techno legend Tesla's remix of his collaboration with Hakan Ludvigson hit the charts hard last spring, and since then Peter has had great success with releases on Clubstream, Univak, Inlab Recordings, supported by top techno names worldwide.

With this new EP, Oovation has teamed up with brilliant German vocalist Coni Soddemann for an eclectic, deep and melodic techno number. L.I.C. also comes with an innovative melodic remix from Hakan Ludvigson, whose creative vocal editing has created a different melody and a new story for the lyrics.

On the other side of the record, we find the heavier and equally brilliant, driving techno number Pandora, which offers a melodic techno experience on the darker side. Techno stars Balthazar & JackRock, famous from labels like 1605, IAMT and Renesanz, adds a huge, massive techno remix of Pandora, for those late, heavy techno sets.

Serkal is about to drop release number 22 and for the 'Dominant EP" they have put together an incredible ensemble of producers and dis: the 2 original tracks come from a collaboration between Monique Musique's David Gtronic and Crosstown and ViVa Music's Santos, and they are backed up with remixes from Leon and Ray Kajioka.
The single opens with the straight groovy 'The Third Eye', a tech house tune driven by reverberated vocals and atmospherical noises. Rebirth and Saved's Leon drops a dirty breakbeat version of the first track, a great rhythmical journey guided by a dirty sub-line and spacious vocals. Following is Enemy and Cocoon's Ray Kajioka, who delivers a strong techno version of the opening tune: a deep killer cut in which an 'in your face' chord drives the track into progressive melodies. Side B2 of the record is the second original, 'Poison', a deep tech house track in which hypnotical synth-lines and delayed vocals create a perfect late night vibe: the right track for such a brilliant vinyl release. Finally, the two producers offer up a an exclusive digital bonus tune, an 'abstract' mix of 'Poison, a pure soundscape, perfect to lose your mind in.

Hot on the heels of his enormous collaboration with Richy Ahmed in the Hot Creations camp, our own Kevin Knapp returns with some extra infectious house beats to OFF and proves once again his versatility and flow both as a singer and behind the productions studio wheels.
"Do Work" creates a whole vibe on its own with a catchy vocal inducing folks to work it out and a bubbly bassline making them do so. Fat beats and a trippy set of arrangements complete this amazing dancefloor tune. 
 
"Bob Dewitt" showcases more of Kevin's production and spoken word talents and creates a whole mayhem of its own with massive deep stabs and insane bassline that progress throughout the song to create an inmense festival vibe.
 
We had to bring someone special to re-interpret this great single, and indeed Berlin 's own Einmusik (DiyNamic, Noir) gave a whole new meaning to the song, turning it into a synth driven, deep monster with a rolling bass groove and incredible string arrangements. A true masterpiece.

Thomas Gandey is one of the latest additions to our beloved OFF family. This Brighton born enigmatic multitalented artist also known as cagedbaby has been a regular in many top labels showcasing his huge originality and versatility every time.

This time he comes back with a great vocal single, "Thats the trouble", a modern house jam with all the right elements. The bouncy bass and the great synth arrangements create a sexy, provocative atmosphere while his voice makes words settle in a magical fashion, truly one of those tracks that creates special memories on the dancefloor.

First vinyl reference from the uprising label 808 Recordings. Back to roots on this one-side-vinyl signed by two of the best young guns from the spanish techno scene. The Label Manager, Yoikol
with his distinctive 'timeless touch' for making a great techno banger, full of energy and evocative sounds, perfect for the dance oor. The second track 'Exit One' is signed by the newcomer and rising star Alejandro Fernandez, who has released in some of the most important techno labels during the last year so far. 'Exit one' is an hypnotic techno track full of vibe, low bpm's with a killer loop that create a sophisticated atmosphere.

Although their number of collaborations is small, the chemistry between Berlin trio Afrilounge and Stuttgart's own Patrick Chardronnet is an undeniable part of the Poker Flat story. The Chardronnet vs. Afrilounge production collaboration arrived with a bang in 2005 with the squelchy tech house jam "Just For A Little Peek"; it turned into a breakout hit of the Poker Flat Four Compilation, and became the project's production calling card, brimming with suspense and irresistible melodies.
Following that same year came the group's EP Phonix, which honed in on the budding sound of funky minimal house with an electro infuence, and intricate, sample-driven rhythm patterns.
Years later in 2009, with demand showing no sign of waning, "Just For A Little Peek" fnally earned a dedicated EP re-release, enhanced by new remixes from Gabriel Ananda and Sarah Goldfarb. Now on Audiomatique Recordings, the studio magic of Chardronnet vs. Afrilounge returns for the stunning collection of new tracks that makes up "What About Us".

The title track reveals a deeper and more contemplative mood for 2014, with a pensive piano loop, a dark-toned deep house swing, and a vocal sample that speaks to the experiences of the disenfranchised.

Chris Lattner's remix of the same provides a punchier and more dramatic rhythm track for maximum impact and a more urgent effect.
B-side production "Morning Poem" harnesses the power spoken dialogue again, with a big flter of distortion, and wispy, whirring deep tech sounds tha testablish a late night feel.

Péché Mignon Records is a french based House/techno label founded in October 2013 by Ludwig Spatz and Lorenzo Lacchesi. This EP is the fifth release and the first vinyl of the label. Deeptique EP is produced and mastered by the co-founder, Lorenzo Lacchesi, and his friend and partner Pitport'. This Release is a mix between two different inspirations perfectly mixed together and represents a new musical approach to Péché Mignon Records.

Already a Techno living legend from Italy Sossa don't need any introductions for vinyl Djs, most not to say all his releases only vinyl since 1994 excluding a couple of years he took a break to do the soundtrack of a very known Italian movie. With latest releases on Minisketch, Moon Harbour, Isgud and many more including also his single "Rain" from our Ibiza Sampler 2013.

Another release to welcome this summer with an incredible amount of tech groove by the hand of well know producer M.in, who paired up this time with the Wild & Kins duo to deliver three fantastic tracks for this 12' plus digital release. The first one is a solo work by M.in called Forgive Them, in which we can appreciate how a simple but strong low-end work can be more than enough to literally destroy the sub-low system of a night club. It exhales a superb party groove with a great dark vibe driven mainly by the percussions, but also the vocal phrase brings its own to help compose this fantastic underground feeling. The second track is another solo track but from Wild & Kins duo named Jumpin' Around! The percussions have a major role to construct the rhythmic foundation of this track, which gets completed by a funky but obscure bass line. The structure in general has a sexy deep and slow-mo feeling, but it's a perfectly constructed tech groove to enjoy and let the vocals during break do their job of empower the audience to the perfect blast right after it. The last and third track is Roadhouse, the one that carries the EP name and also the one that is a full collaboration between M.in and Wild & Kins. It has a similar groove to the previous ones but with a stronger tech house approach, especially in the bass line and also with the addition of a subtle female vocal that appears right after the first quarter of the track, during the first break, and goes evolving softly with a filter that increases and release the tension when is needed. This is definitely a fantastic track for the dance floor that will make the audience raise their hands with a big smile on them. A very complete and quality piece of work from these great talented artists to bring without question into to any respected music collection.

For this edition we have the pleasure to bring a fantastic collaboration from two of most respected producers worldwide. We are talking about Todd Bodine, part of the well know Highgrade Records label and of Mihai Popoviciu, one of the most talented Romanian producers that constantly presents new edgy productions with a very characteristic style. Their Shadow Of Your Soul EP includes one original and two remixes. The original production is an intricate composition of several percussion layers and analog synths that generate both the baselines as the synths in the background. The sum of all the elements creates a floating vibe driven by an extremely groovy base and bass lines that will immerse you into a crazy party trip. The first remix comes by Argentinian duo Re Us, who focused on the most rhythmic elements of the original track to create a fantastic deep tech work that is moved by a profound deep bass line. They also took the backend fxs elements from the original track, gave them a twist, and created a terrific groovy and trippy vibe for this track. The second remix was in charge of another well know and experienced Argentinian producer, Juan Zolbaran, who went through a deeper road with his remix, focusing also in the rhythmic aspects, but adding a few ambiences and pad layers that gives a great deep house touch to the track and to the whole ep for sure. Definitely and superb release with quality productions from the original to both remixes, a true must have for this spring.

The talented Spanish DJ pairing of Scan Mode and Alvaro Sanchez, came together at the beginning of the year to launch not only their Raw Rootz alliance but also their own label of the same name. January's 'Beginnin' ep, with its Alex Under and Felipe Venegas remixes, was an instant success, finding wide ranging support and saw Laurent Garnier brandishing the label's logo on his own stage setup.
Raw Rootz create house music influenced by the sounds of the legendary Roland TR-808 and TR-909 drum machines. Whilst the sounds are classic, the vision is modern. Their second release sees the duo deliver a brace of contrasting tracks. First up is 2.1 with its sultry piano, drifting vocal and warm fresh balearic vibes. On the flip 2.2 takes us from the a side sunlight to the darkness of the night. Unrelenting raw and scything beats are matched with creepy sounds and percussion to create a powerful techno shot.
Stepping up to remix 2.1 is prolific Canadian producer Jay Tripwire. Giving it a complete makeover, Jay takes 2.1 from the sunkissed shores to the sweaty floors as he present a deep, trippy and twisted take on the original.

Pushing the release further are remixes by Sasse (Moodmusic) and Terry Grant (Blu Fin, Bedrock). Also specially featured on this limited 12" is a hand picked bonus track entitled "For Henry & Anne". Set for release in 2nd quarter 2012, it's one sure to please.
