Back to the vinyl rules, Spectral Rebel is proud to present its collaboration with the Dutch duo Abstract Division, featuring two originals and two remixes by Mike Storm and Re:Axis.
The good architecture of "Convergent" opens the EP with a slow but strong climax, hypnotic rhythms and ambient sounds create an elegant atmosphere, surrounded by a resonant voice.
"Divergent" shows a deeper concept of techno: the emotional melody keeps the track into a new landscape, merging with a heavy basslines.
Mike Storm is a familiar name to the label. His remix reshapes the original track "Convergent" and takes us into an interstellar trip through the cosmos. The atmosphere is intense.
Re:Axis version of "Divergent" is a high-energy piece and it's definitely the powerful techno punch of this EP. Classic drum sounds combine with vibrating kicks and some loopy cuts.
SPR007 is an ecstasy for ears and a proper bang for dancefloors.

‘Duno’ takes the lead and punches as hard as its WBO namesake. Strutting spacious beats, warm chords then boom: detuned rave stabs right in the kisser! If 2BadMice were triggered in early 90s New York this wouldn’t be far off the mark.

Total subversion from one of the most consistent and innovative duos in house music right now, this is the sound of andhim doing what they do best; stirring up emotions, taking us on journeys and ensuring something fresh.

The Cottbus old hand' Funkwerkstatt doesn't really need any introduction. Founded in the late 1990s, Derrick Porter and Nicola John have essentially influenced the last musical decade with their own label Superfancy Recordings and decisively shaped that time. The guys are receiving support from the young shooting star Stephan Zovsky, who has already been able to prove his ability for labels like 3000° Records or Style Rockets. They got to know each other during their time at 3000°. Due to their common musical roots they realized very quickly that they go well together and so they started producing tracks in close collaboration. During their last studio sessions two great tracks has been created exclusively for SPIELGOLD. Both tracks The Story of House and The Visitor' can be shortly described as Once old-school and back again'! Impressive storytelling vocals go perfectly together with catchy, minimal styled Tech House beats. Under the name of Chicago Is God' the release combines the two great originals with excellent remixes by Carlos Sánchez (Poker Flat Recordings, 8Bit) and Die Vogelperspektive (Brise Records, Get Physical Music)!
