Khazad Records are proud to present the first instalment in a series of special collaborative Various Artists compilations, released on vinyl and digital. Each release will feature collaborative tracks from a variety of artists including those already associated with the label, and a number of new exciting additions to the Khazad tribe. KHAIS01 comprises four tracks from Khazad regulars Aeit & Vere, Balrog & Grace Dahl and alongside Tim Williams we introduce Taro Records boss, Taro Division. We are also proud to welcome two new members to the Khazad tribe, Dion & Caravel, each of whom have a series of strong releases under their belts. Vivus Records comes back strongly in 2020 with a release from one of the most interesting names in the Romanian underground. Macarie’s rise in the last couple of years has been fast and impressing, having played alongside important names like Priku or Cesar Merveille. He makes his debut on Vivus in style.

Merluciu, the first track, doesn’t mess around. Its starts off heavy with all the eclectic elements coming togheter in a lovely sync, one by one. A little acid touch here, some edgy bass lines there and the result is one piece of music that keeps adding elements as it moves on.

The acid vibe kicks it up a notch on the second track, Shure. It begins calmly, but again, Macarie adds layer of layer making for a complex sound that will immerse you in its cosmic journey.

We take a swift left turn with the last one here. Trip Chop is truly something else. A deep, chill acid journey perfect for some lazy & sunny after hours at an outdoor party, in the middle of the summer. This is the kind of music that stimulates your imagination.

Vault Series founder Subjected releases his sophomore album entitled 'Mother' on his Subjected Systems featuring ten ambient, leftfield and techno cuts this March.

An essential figure within Berlin's techno scene, Subjected has released on ARTS, the enigmatic STOOR and his very own Vault Series. Subjected Systems is a newer project which has so far hosted two releases, one from Transient X4 and another collaborative effort between Subjected and Andrejko.

The label showcases a post-industrial era, that keeps ties to the underground scene that gave birth to it but signals its occupation of a different realm than its predecessor. Subjected now returns with his second album for the label's third release. Entitled 'Mother', the longplayer came to fruition after Subjected became a father himself - inspired by processing the changes that were not
only happening around him, but to his partner and a new life.

Instigating proceedings, unearthly drones pave way for ominous risers in 'Untrue', before the electric 'You Know Nothing' thunders in, where buzzy leads are shaped by heartbeat kicks dictating capricious pace. 'Algorithm Lies' bounces with an erratic hollow bass while real organ samples render a dramatic tone, leading into the sinister 'Purification' with its ripping synths and clinical drums. An oscillating bassline joins stylish open hats in 'Nothing is Sure', making way for the luscious tones of 'The Lullaby of Marian' with its beautiful arps until 'Mother' generates infectious rhythm with intricate FX patterns over a steady kick. Nearing the end, 'Bloodborne Pathogen' offers a retro arpeggiated synth that meticulously develops and modulates throughout, before 'Trope' offers refreshing clarity with hopeful chords fluttering above heavily distorted yet distant drums. Finally 'Everything Should Be Fine Now' rounds things off with an exquisite ambient drone.

Tamango Records 12th release is undoubtedly its biggest one to date because Yaya's debut album "You Decide" is getting a massive remix treatment by 4 real heavyweights of the house music panorama.
The first remix is entrusted to a long friend of the label and one of the most iconic figures over the last 20 years, Loco Dice. The Desolat boss heads to trippy directions for his version of "Black Mamba", which is dominated by bubbling minimal percussions, swingy dirty hi-hats and pressing shakers, wrapping an 8+ minutes ride that will keep you hooked on the dancefloor.

Next up, Spanish groover Cuartero turns "One Way" into a heady dancefloor tool that features swinging rhythms and energetic grooves throughout, mainly focusing on the mighty bassline and a compelling bold pace.

On the flip, FUSE head-honcho Enzo Siragusa re-arranges the meandering moves from “Be Yourself” into a tremendous basements destroyer, within which the vocals are combined with hi-pitched synths to increase the drama right before an impressive "hands up, heads down" drop pours on the crowd with a grain of UKG flavour.
Rounding off the package is the formidable S.A.M. who delivers one of his many club anthems: the original bassline bursts back into life again, and so do the juicy vocals that inevitably lead the track into a massive breakdown guided by his trademark catchy lead to form something that’s built solely for the dancefloor.

This young French producer has shaped our fresh second release: BHR002 | Zirconiu EP, where you can find three exciting brand new tracks to continue the journey through the Bohrium sound, a musical trip among the delightful combination of pleasurable & eerie melodies. You will appreciate his own smart vision at A1 ‘A Pierdut Noaptea', a singular track characterized by a soft guitar riff followed by a graceful and stylish groovy bassline. A2 ‘Aurorae’ track will delight us with an electric synthesizer complemented with pads and textures whose flow out in an unexpected break that turns into nostalgic piano notes which may be able to stop time.
