DAVE TARRIDA
Grown up as a techno artist within the 90s UK scenery in line with Neil Landstrumm, Tobias Schmidt and Cristian Vogel, Dave Tarrida sounds just like one of those loud, sweaty, really dark underground clubs with too many strobes to see but just enough to keep your heart rate at a max. Most well known as one of the founding members of the legendary Sativae club in Edinburgh, he still retains this ravy, industrial feeling in his tracks and remains an ambassador of never ending electronic roughness - as a DJ as well as a producer.
His smashing tracks have been released on labels such as the famous Tresor, Outpost Recordings, and of course on the club-related label Sativae Recordings, which he co-runs with Steve Glencross, as well as on his more recent founded own label AUTOFAKE.

SNORK ENTERPRISES
It's a distinct sound diving deep down into the spheres of genuine underground techno where bass-lines surround your mind and the fascination of a gloomy yet groovy world of sounds inevitably enters your head.
Founded in 2004 by techno DJ and producer Christian Schachta, known as Syntax Error, Snork Enterprises is a base for modern underground electronic techno music. It's not at all about being pretentious or arty for the sake of it. It's about real depth on the dance floor. Short and sweet: very snorky! It's a journey with friends such as Cristian Vogel, Phil Kieran, Jens Zimmerman, Daze Maxim, DJ W!ld and other big names from the techno scene having dedicated themselves to an uncompromising, stunning beat to go even further on a trip to the instantly exceptional, experimental sounds, ranging back to various roots of electronic underground.

The first cut on Nightflight Records comes from the artists, G-prod and Erell Ranson, both hailing from the land of wine, cheese and the gilets jaunes'. Both artists have a deep love for Detroit and they combine this soulful D-groove with their own subtle deep touch which results in some wicked Hi-Tech Funk. G-prod's Tell me' is a deep, funky techno track that builds up with warm sounds and brings you in a higher ecstatic state. Their dubby The Rites of Glamounja' will chill you to the bones with its deep and harmony full melodies. Erell Ranson provides two deep electrofunk tracks How Dare You' and We're Going Deep'and he knows how to mengle the depths of UK electronics with the soul of the US.

Coming soon, the new e.p. from Konstantin Sibold on Snork Enterprises! What about him Born in Stuttgart in 1987, grew up with hip hop music, high school in fine arts, study of aviation and space technology, teacher of drums and percussion, active as a drummer in a classical orchestra, co-founder and artworker of the renowned Common Sense People event series & resident DJ at the club Rocker 33 in Stuttgart, music repertoire includes hip hop, pop, indiependent, folk, classical and electronic music. His musical design can be best described as opposites attract with attention to the everlasting basic principle: As little as possible, as much as necessary or better: if no girl is dancing, I've made something wrong! Noisy and clear, functional and strange, stereotyped and unconventional, wide and narrow, stereo and mono. Sampling takes precedence over the programming of sounds, every element must have a function and must be internally consistent, vinyl is the sample source and acts as patina supplier, Presetsound-"not"-sound is absolutely taboo. Everything stands or falls with the sound of the elements used. These need to fuse together to a foundation, where your first impression can sit. Is this
foundation given, you get things deliberately to collapse. The arrangement is derived from the items that are available and not the other way around.

As we come upon Still Play Records 6th vinyl release, we welcome Amsterdam's Odette to the roster as she crafts February's narrative of love with her Love Story EP'.
Odette captures warm and emphatic synth arrangements and jazzy basslines tying them into crisp, club-ready kicks and percussion. 3 new age ballads ready for the dancefloor each with their own unique dreaminess that commands the listener into a trance and implores them to be a part of the love story. Add sentiment and passion to your repertoire of deep house and tech with Odette's Love Story' and allow the dancer to infatuate themselves with it.

The first taste of Kiria is brought to you by non other than Sepp's "Lacul Lebedelor".

On one side we've got "Intr-un Ritm Suav", a more laid back, melancholic statement, centered around classic percussion and overlapping harmonics, the likes of which we've become acustomed to from the romanian throughout the years.
Shifting shlightly away from his usual form but staying true to his trademark sound with the other part of the EP ,"Intr-o Seara Joviala", Sepp storms of with a furious electro, noise influenced peak time screamer, untamed and grandiose in it's execution which will surely bring any dancefloor to it's knees.

microcastle’s third offering of 2020 welcomes Ivory back to the label for a new EP. Based in Milan, Italian artist Daniel Tagliaferri aka Ivory brings a surreal beauty to his innovative brand of electronic composition. As a perpetual favourite of Adriatique, Ame, Dixon, Lehar, Tale Of Us, Toto Chiavetta and Trikk, Ivory made his microcastle debut in July of last year with ‘No Scale Can Resize You’. Rising to #1 in Beatport Indie Dance and Melodic House & Techno, the release received praise from both his contemporaries and fans alike. Carrying momentum forward, 2020 has yielded significant creative successes for Daniel. The release of ‘Dreamers’ via Innervisions and ‘Hold Your Breath’ via Multinotes have proven to be two of the year’s most well received tracks. Now fresh off a remix for L.K.F Project via AZZUR, Ivory makes a welcome return to microcastle with ‘Light Through Water’.

As a much-requested track from Ivory’s sets, it is the arcane wonder ‘Time Lapse’ which gets the EP underway. Rhythmically buoyant, it’s rippling low end, kaleidoscopic synths and fiery percussion set the release on a course for aural enlightenment. Although best known for his warmer, musical prowess; it is the wintry quality of ‘Quartz’ which follows, placing Ivory in the unique spot of also being able to craft starker, more rhythmic compositions. A highlight in the sets of Trikk, it’s peculiar blend of titanium kicks, icy refrains and hypnagogic synthscapes set the stage for the robust muscularity of ‘Steam Machine’. A recent favourite of Toto Chiavetta, this austere, machine-funk delight appears to be set for dance floor destruction.

Moving forward yet stripping things back are the hypno grooves of ‘Minderals’. Another creation championed by Trikk; it’s slow burning drawl, percussive splashes and pyrotechnic synth design are perfect for the more astute connoisseur. The twisted echoes which lurk in ‘Minderals’ are decayed further still on the following number ‘Eufrat’, a track where Ivory’s elastic grooves and metallic sonics are set against a backdrop of pixie-like effects.

Trending towards the grandiose is the title selection ‘Light Through Water’. Pitched somewhere comfortably between dreamy reverie and symphonic bliss, it’s a piece equally at home above a festival skyline or sitting in the emotional sweet spot of an end of the night scenario. Captivating and poignant in equal measure, it’s widescreen nature tastefully melts down into the fluid tranquility of ‘Arpstairs’. Ivory flexes his borderless versatility here, as notes ring out into timeless suspension, while a gentle flurry of arpeggiated tones sweep their way across a bed of broken rhythms.

Ivory’s multifaceted ‘Light Through Water’ is a set of bold, synthesizer symphonies; a seven-act story showcasing a special talent whose unique sonic aesthetic continues to flourish.

ODT presents its second vinyl release. This time we have croatian producer Zarko Rebac delivering his Meridian EP with strong remix support by Franco Cinelli and a dub techno legend Thor. It's all about dub vibes on this one. Originals, named Vibracija and Dimenzija are straight forward, dub influenced tracks. Thor delivers strong remix, with relentless groove and great dynamics, while Franco goes into the slightly more minimal approach with slick drums and dreamy pads.

Mother Recordings continues to dominate the contemporary house landscape with a new one from NiCe7 that packs two hefty punches and a drum tool. DJ and production outfit NiCe7 are Italy-based Nicola Daniele and Cesare Marocco and they have been making big tunes on the likes of Suara, Noir Music, Cr2 and more.

First up, Groove Key is a big vocal tune that builds suspense on chunky drums. When the impassioned vocal breaks out, and the bass line joins the party, the club is sure to blow up.

Go Back is a slow burner that will have the floor in raptures. Disco house loops, funky bass riffs and lush claps all build and build to a frantic peak. After the cosmic breakdown the tune drops and makes a huge impact. These are three tasteful house bombs once more from Mother Recordings and the dope NiCe7 boys.

Almighty Berlin’s No. 1 House label Mother Recordings welcome hottest Italian export Brokenears to their latest team. With a phenomenal and breakthrough year in 2019 they kick off 2020 with their debut EP Friday Night at Nhan Solo ́s imprint Mother Recordings. Their musical output can also be find on labels such a Downtown Underground, DVINE Sounds or Too Many Rules.

„Friday Night“ is one for the ladies! A 6 minutes jam with a driven bass line and funky guitar licks rolling over a slick House groove. The powerful and gnarly repetitive female vocals add full and warm emotions to this dance floor burner.

Next is „Feel The Power, a party starting tune with big catchy vocals to sing along and an organic and warm bass line roller. Def a real peak time hands up track to make the crowd stomping and pumping. We say Feel The Power, Feel It!

With a hot of releases on the likes of DFTD, Defected and Glasgow Underground he makes his debut on Berlin s finest House label Mother Recordings with a floor stomping two tracker EP.

Disco Musique is a massive House jam. Rolling and driving bass line, full of cheeky and cathcy vocal bits are layered over the top to get the place pumping and stomping.

MOTHER RECORDINGS kicks off 2020 and make big moves with youngsters YINGYANG (UK) and REN PHILLIPS. Both linking up for some serious dance floor destruction on their new two track single. The pair have collaborated to great effect recently on the likes of Jacky & Friends and Solardo s Sola imprint.


Harlem Shake is lively house with sleazy bass, big synths and a bristling sense of party and atmosphere that really pumps any club. It has slick production values and a mad lead that is full of fun.


Flashback is a track that gets you ducking and diving with its turbo bass and great female vocals. The whole thing is a really characterful and explosive cut. This is a standout EP from this duo.

We dive deeper into the sublime sounds of Unic sub-label apă, as a mystery guest joins the highly sought after imprint. Contributing 3 magnetic slices of elegant and free flowing minimal. Fans of apă will find plenty to enjoy on this record, from jostling basslines and heady melodics, to irresistible breakbeat grooves.

Newrhythmic Records presents a new Various Artist on vinyl that gathers the talent of great producers in an impressive moment and brings it together in four purely Techno cuts that combine energetic patterns with hypnotic atmospheres.

Alexander Kowalski opens the EP under his alias "Disx3", with which he distills "Phobos", the sharpest track on the album. A poisoned pattern takes over the theme while saturated percussion turns it into a hurricane.

Joton signs the second song "Flashing Darkness". The Newrhythmic capo gives us a good dose of low frequencies combining power and melancholy with a hypnotic synthesizer that splashes the track cyclically.

On side B we find the synthetic dissonances of "E - Mission" at the hands of Kike Pravda. The figure that draws the melody of this theme induces the listener's mind to a state of physical hypnosis.
