For this release, Sound Exhibitions proposes an EP composed of four pieces, the first two made by Lego Edit & Vito Lallinga. Definitely inspired by of Afro-house grooves that are present In all two songs, to give a sound hypnotic and deep. Then we have Phil Disco with a refined and classy track with a sax that makes the atmosphere very elegant and the last made by RobJ that resumes the old school house sounds.

After its first installment in 2015 (with Claudio PRC, Ness, Reggy Van Oers and Deepbass) and a follow-up in 2017 (with Reggy Van Oers, Deepbass and Joachim Spieth) we are happy to announce Affinity 3. The third part will include music from A Sacred Geometry, Joachim Spieth, Nørbak and Aleja Sanchez.

The second vinyl release on Manjumasi comes from intriguing Swedish producer Karl David Ola Sabel, aka Birds ov Paradise. A master of darkly shining brilliance, his work is at once deep and murky, yet textured and detailed.

The A-side, Köpp, is an insistent and slowly building journey. Shimmering metallic synth tones float over a staccato bassline that develops powerful energy throughout the track’s crescendo.
On the B side are two very complementary selections. Bosse kicks off with a hard-hitting broken-beat groove that is punctuated by potent bass hits. Up top, space is created by a wafting layer of haunting and ethereal atmospherics. Next up is Gubben, with some of the darkest sounds on the EP set amidst an energy that manages to simultaneously feel both sinister and playful. Reversed bass tones and punchy percussion set the mood, making way for the track’s incredible and eerie vocal elements.

Since bursting onto the scene in 2017, Josh Baker (You&Me, META, See Double) has made a huge impact with a string of hugely successful releases, always focusing on quality than quantity. Our eighth release marks his debut on the label and it’s a pleasure for us to present this amazing EP, which also sees label boss Yaya back on the remix duties. Hailing from Manchester, Josh has rapidly gained the attention of lots of European enthusiasts due to his ability for crafting huge dancefloor cuts, blending the most forward thinking sound of the moment with the typical UK raw and garage approach.
Title-track ‘On The Rollover’ is an effortlessly cool and breezy house groover full of percussive elements, crafted layers of bleeps and driving drums. But it’s when the astonishing vocal kicks in that this one becomes an assured peak-time bomb that will be a main-stay in many DJ boxes right into the upcoming summer months.
This is followed by Yaya’s remix who makes of the original a percussive monster, rising the heat with pressing shakers, clean drum patterns and warm pads. Here, Yaya uses only a few parts from the original vocal, ensuring a more dancefloor-oriented and dub version with a naughty bass and warped synths.
Opening the flip side is ‘Turbo Terry’, which kicks off with a more stripped-back groove in the intro, slowly carried on by dub and charming chords, popping drums and the right dose of vintage sounds. Housy strings, old-taped vocals and a serious mind blowing wavy bassline do te rest, creating another crowd craker.
‘What’s The Name’ closes the EP in style bringing some of Josh’s UK garage roots with curious modular sounds, doubled hi-hats and a rolling fat bassline which moves up and down, locking you in into the groove while the title-track inspired vocal sample makes you wonder ‘what’s your name’.

Calder City Development Corp. returns with the amazing duo from France Rose & Ulysse. With previous releases on Edit Select and Motoguzzi Records the two emerge to present the 'Mother Earth EP Mother Earth is a moody jam driven with precise layers of percussion and synths that take you on a journey deep to the core of existence. While A place in all of this answers the question of purpose with deep bass and melodic cords. FBK (Rekids, MDR) & Philippe Petit (Knotweed Records, Decision Making Theory) support the journey with deep and intuitive remixes.
