CULT-02 sees the second VA release from Cultura Records. This time around the collective has sourced tracks from Crisna, Greg Brockmann, Tommy Vicari Jnr and BRYZ to bring together a nicely balanced slab!

This is the first release of the new Techno label based in Ibiza called MuM, with his wellknowned nature MuM is one of the favorites partys in the Winter calendar of Eivissa/Ibiza and now lauches her homonym label.

For this beginning Ep introduces one of the most sucessfully artist of the pressent Romanian Scene, Xandru. In this Talma 22 EP give three tracks, from a clasical Piano Techno tune to a complicated textures version of the best house.

Take equal parts 808, 909 and 303 and you might get an idea of what to expect on Adrian Forcinitis debut on Dizzy Tunes, "Swedish Royal Ass-iieed". His tempting acid tunes give you quite a challenging listen while trying to discover the secrets of the various analogue, genuine nooks and crannies involved in this remarkably fulfilling experience. If all you ever wanted was real, sturdy acid music, this record is one to which you'll come back and play repeatedly.

For the 15th release on Ondulé recordings, Around7 offers us a treasure hunt through his influences and his love for sampling.
The « C KIKIMIX » EP is starting with King Britt version of « Last night a DJ saved my life » turned into a hypnotic House piece.
Then passing by « C D'LA DYNAMITE », a Madlib sample totally dynamited by the MPC's filter.

And finaly ending with « DECONNE PAS MORRICONE », a classic cut by Enio Morricone flavoured with acid bass. Well, a « must-have » for sample lovers and adventurous DJ's...

Emerging Italian label Castenea Records has been on a rich vein of form of late. Spurred on by quality signings a la Pressure Point, TC80 and OdD Music, they've quickly won the hearts and minds of numerous similarly-inclined artists. Their latest is a case in point. Coming at us from Modbox aka Patrizio Restelli, it features three originals from the man in question as well as a remix from one of minimal techno's most exciting new acts, the inimitable Topper.
Kicking off the sounds of 'The Science Behind First Impression' EP is 'Halo Effect'. A heads-down, zippy track that conjures up images of a hazy Villalobos and Zip after-hours session, it's made up of but a few parts but still manages to force a distinct

impression. An auspicious beginning, it wonderfully sets the mood for Topper's reinterpretation. Imbued with slightly more colour than its predecessor, its gradually warmer remix acts as the perfect foil to the sounds of the original.

The B side gets underway soon after with 'First Impression'. A jazzy number that's indicative of the producer at his playful best, it's full to the brim with smile-inducing tones and is sure to work a treat wherever it's let out of the bag. Culminating the release is the sounds of 'Jam Confidence'. A more stringent affair that sticks to an eerie script, it sees us out the door with some panache. An EP that's sure to force an impression, that's for sure.

It's the very first time since the opening '13k EP' by label boss Yaya that we provide a full-originals only EP - so fasten your seatbelt for an astonishing trip into every shape of house with their brand new 'Pointed Sounds' EP.

Newcastle pals Ross and Callum wisely released only a few tracks in the last couple of years, landing on labels such as Rich Nxt's 'NxT Records' and Lauren Lo Sung's 'E1even Records'. They've also got their tracks remixed by the likes of FUSE regulars Ben Rau and Rich NxT.
Opener 'Something' it's a true house weapon where funky swinging snare drums carry the track from start to finish. Melodic pads go on and off, while catchy female vocal shots create an amazing atmosphere upon a serious shaking-groovy beat which is impossible to not move with.

A2 'Ballad Of The Bubblegum Kid' is a solid tech house tune with some splashes of UK raw and garage moods. The powerful and boosted bassline takes control of the track and perfectly fits with sharp hi-hats, delayed chant, and housy chords.
On the flip, 'Subterranean' is another quality tune with intricate rhythmical sections and gorgeous vocal samples bringing back some early house feelings. This one is about claps, snares and a blizzard of hi-hats and tiny panned percussions all wrap around each other into a kinetic jam, turning throughout to bring plenty of good vibes to the driving groove.
Closing the affairs is the deeper and more intimate 'Mindbowl' - a joyful deep house tune with dreamy chords and pads, perfect as an opening tool or late after-hours moments.

We open 2018 with a new Various SCL004 named "The Beat Bunch EP". We have the pleasure to have on the A side,
after a very noticed ep on Sampling As An Art Records, Le Grand Détournement! "Devinette" and "Mexican Food" 2 solid tracks
with a universe between Hip Hop/ Funk samples, Rhodes & big filters, followed by "About Jazz" a funk jazz influence track
by the head of Sure Cuts, GZZ. On the B side, a new recruit! Jehan (Star Creature) delivers us a groovy moody sound with his "Cherimoya" and we close this ep with a faithful member of the Sure Cuts family, Keedo and "Don't Tell The Truth (About Our Love)" a serious House track, vocal loops, deepness background & slamming rhythmic.

Cellaa Music welcome London based artist Emery Warman to the family with his "People Keep On EP".

After amazing releases on Viva Limited, Nonstop, Zoo Lab, Natural Rhythm and his own Noexcuse Records, Emery steps up to the plate with three fresh dancefloor killers that are set to take the world by storm.

Here he blend warm house flavours with sharp techno beats among a booming bass line and whipping hi hats and of course lots of hidden elements which are connecting at so many points to everyone's being, it's for sure that you have to take this trip through sound - better now than later.

The latest vinyl release sees four diverse producers rework Manuel's original tracks from his last EP, which includes Endlec, Pacou, Aleja Sanchez, and Drafted.

Endlec is a Greek artist listing Mord, Children of Tomorrow, and Invite's Choice in his back catalogue.

Berlin based Pacou, has close ties with Tresor, also releasing on their imprint alongside Music Man, Indigo Aera, and Labrynth among others.

Aleja Sanchez from Colombia appears following outings on Illegal Alien, Northallsen, Nachtstrom Schallplatten and Planet Rhythm.

Drafted from Italy runs MM Audio and has credits for Soma, Balans, Affekt, and ETUI.

Expect to hear a great variety of styles such raw, analogue beats, deep Detroit influences, dubby ambience, and edgy, hypnotic sounds.

Producing under his techno moniker 'NEUMANN', Tobi Neumann delivers his first WCF release - a four track EP - available in vinyl and digital format - titled 'Coaster' which also includes a remix by club's resident Kyle E.


Beginning with the prowling track 'Coaster', its slow and steady pace eases the listener into a sultry sound from NEUMANN, evidently making a clear divide between his usual house/disco induced productions as 'Tobi Neumann'. A rolling groove entails with a clear cowbell and tinkling melody, smoothly layered over a subtle kick drum and moody bass line.


'Broken voices' opens with a mean kick leading to a significant change in tone from 'Coaster' with a sense of urgency entwined through an undulating melody. A blend of scintillating synths over a menacing bass shows the spacey side of NEUMANN, who's not afraid to explore the muddier side of electronic music.


The third track 'Atlantis' revolves around an accelerated rhythm accompanied by thundering modular-percussion. Woven with broken bleeps and high-energy synths, it's a powerful track appropriate for an intimate, sweaty and weird rave.


Finishing off, a remix of 'Coaster' from Egg's and label's resident Kyle E. The burgeoning producer and selector puts his own uplifting stamp on NEUMANN's venture into murky techno. With a throbbing bass and crisp bells, it's the rich analogue use with shades of euphoria that make it a perfectly atmospheric track to end NEUMANN's first WCF release.
