Pushing the art of sampling a bit further, with authenticity and creativity, this is a new journey into Sebb’s musical influences, expressing nostalgia of the golden era, the early 80s, and spreading positive messages of love and positivity. Chris Stussy makes his debut on the Limited series and delivers a quality 4 track EP including the long-awaited Speak'. The warm and deep chords plus Speaking' vocal on the A1 Chris gives you his vision of house music.

A2 Deep Innocence' is a deep groovy track with a rolling bassline and swinging drums that works perfectly as warm up.

On the B-flip Parisian Djebali gives his signature interpretation on "Speak" while Alix Alvarez delivered a deep dub on "Deep Innocence".

Club U Nite no. 018 is an outstanding EP, presenting you the many shades of house including 6 Black Chunes.

'Love Cat' is a stompin' disco track with a jazzy mood, while 'Freaks' blows the classic NYC house beats in your ears. 'Go Ahead' brings the funk essence in carefully selected sample chops while the b-side releases a jazz-house monster 'Jazzin' Up'. Caution: Stumbling hazard!

Fine Deep House sounds complete the new EP on Club U Nite Records with the tracks 'Jump-N-Scat' and 'Smack That Ass'.

RETZA returns to the LO-FI-45 fold with Eta Carinae / Polar', the first of the label's catalogue to be released on vinyl. A fitting title, as this young talent's star is certainly shining brightly- RETZA is hot off the heels of collaborations with France's YOKOO on KINDISCH & ALL DAY I DREAM.

Eta Carinae / Polar' is a stunning addition to RETZA's solo discography. Showcasing his intrinsic knowledge of and feel for the art of musical composition, RETZA's intricately constructed soundscapes and authentic instrumental cutaways induce a sense of warmth and familiarity.

RETZA's electronic fingers cascade delicately in Eta Carinae' through piano notes, that enter almost immediately and remain, defining this deep house groove. The journey feels incredibly fresh, like a new resolution after intense period of thought.

Polar's' thick bassline slides around its low sub frequency range framing a variety of hand cut sample slices, carefully selected and cured from the finest audio delicatessen in all the land. Merging seamlessly together, they create a movement that's both dark and surprisingly funky at the same time.

Remixes for Eta Carinae' come from none other than Seattle's PEZZNER, whose 90's indie-electronic milieu is stylistically apposite here. The mix is dynamically diverse, presenting each of the charming elements of the original with revised scrutiny, forming a new persona and climate for the piece to thrive. Melbourne's MATT WATERS rounds out the package with distinctive panache in his truly outstanding tech-house cut.

Bonafide stalwart of the minimal house and techno scene Nu Zau makes his debut on Curtea Veche's LTD series with this monster 3 track ep.

The title track 'Power' features a soulful vocal which reverberates around the build up, acting as a pathway to what is a monstrous drop of rolling hats and classic house bass line.
'So Good' follows a similar suit, dominated by an uplifting vocal which carries you along this effervescent journey, machine like whirring synths come and go as the house grooves flow with ease.

MOTHER RECORDINGS launch into 2019 with a dream collaborative release from PAOLO MARTINI and SIMION. Having both released on the imprint previously with solo EPs, as well as a combined back catalogue spanning Repopulate Mars, Emerald City Music and Snatch, the pair come together in fine form blending their rich tech house sounds offering up two slick cuts.

'That Sound' kicks things off with a soulful vocal which glides over a pulsing bass line and rolling tech drums. Flurries of percussive elements add to the infectious groove.

On the flip, 'Hustle Jam' is a genius blend of disco sampling and club focussed house music, filtered horns and guitar grip a hold of you from the first hit, sending you on what is bound to be a dance filled journey.
