Roots For Bloom hit release number eleven with another newcomer to the label. Mara Lakour deliver straight up house grooves from France to the UK based label. Clark St is the big hotter here with powerful stabs and synth lines and that ever present prominent low end that Roots For Bloom is becoming known for. The whole EP carries a 90's twang but brought very much up to date in great style.

For its second release of 2018, microcastle welcomes the mysterious Cornucopia project back to the label for a new EP. The publicity shy artist first appeared in May of 2016 when 'The Day You Got Older And Stronger' was released courtesy of Gorje Hewek & Izhevski's Shanti Moscow Radio. Shortly thereafter came his microcastle debut with 'Pursuit of the Orange Butterfly'. A lo-fi, organic and deeply musical creation that the underground fell in love with. 2017 was met with just one release, 'Letter For Poly' which launched Lee Burridge's new Tale & Tone imprint. Sitting at #1 in Beatport's overall Top 100 the track was also aired on BBC Radio 1 by Kolsch and by year's end was considered one of 2017's best deep house tracks. Now returning to the comfortable home of microcastle, Cornucopia presents his much anticipated 'Forever Gone' EP.

Spread across three tracks, 'Forever Gone' is a transcendent blend of music and nature, an organic methodology which Cornucopia seems so apt at crafting. Beginning with the evolving textures, exotic drums and tonal creativities of the title cut, the EP then shifts energy to the modular intensity and oriental themes of 'Big Sky', before ultimately melting down to the tranquil, meditative yet spiritually uplifting expedition that is 'Epathia'.

Unscene Record's debut 12-inch release, 'Theme of Roman EP', features three modernistic tracks from Grecian artists
Kostas Georgoudis and Alex Dimou (in a B-side collaboration). A1-Theme Of Roman (Original Mix) initiates the quest by
creating minimalistic soundscapes of a cinematic nature, translating to listeners as a prismatic chemistry of iridescent
textures, dub, and pitch-shifted voices. A2-Palouse (Original Mix), provides a discourse between vintage aesthetics and
futuristic dynamism, rendering a more abstract and atmospheric composition. On the flip side, track B1-Mozy (Original Mix)
demonstrates a steady rhythmic bass construction complimented by high-hat variations, while giving rise to a primordial
sense of movement and full bodied grooves.
Wholly, 'Theme of Roman EP' delivers a cohesive collection of original mixes, all of which stem from various parts of the
deep house/ tech house/ minimal techno spectrum.

The artist André Walter is looking back on a countless number of releases and remixes with different projects and artists, as well as on his long term studio partnership with Chris Liebing.

The project he´s certainly most passionate about is STIGMATA, without doubt! After the succesful release of - Chapter One - The Complete Collection , which was mixed by Chris Liebing, it´s time for STIGMATA´s first concept longplayer PARASPECTRAL.

PARASPECTRAL is a symbiosis of Modern and Old School Techno from different decades. You will find EBM-influenced sound from the 80ties, 90ties-rooted Rave & Acid, old school STIGMATA tracks and of course, proper Techno of nowadays on this spectacular album. You can be sure: No two tracks sound the same! On top of this, all vinyl lovers are going to enjoy an exclusive bonus track on the limited record edition.

After contributing a smashing remix to the first release on blank, UK producer Kalyde is coming back to the emerging German imprint with a fantastic EP of his own. Growing up in Detroit, he never got involved with electronic music until he went to university in Bristol, where he honed his production and DJ skills before resettling in London. Not long after that crucial step, an impressive string of releases followed on great labels like Skint, Madtech, Avotre and Roush. Kalyde has rapidly advanced to be one of the most exciting new talents in the UK's modern house & techno scene, and also has become a sure shot on DJ sets of big players from the likes of Annie Mac, Loco Dice, Eats Everything and many more.

Kalyde is famous for his fantastic ability to provide a huge energy boost without getting reckless, no matter if at one of his legendary extended DJ sets or in the studio cooking up the next big dancefloor banger. The Clone EP on Blank is the perfect representation of this sentiment. Every single track is a bona fide floor filler designated to land in the crates of the best house & techno DJs on the planet. The title track explores Kalyde's very own vision of acid house, combining a frenetic bassline with his infallible energetic signature.

Next up is the absolutely fascinating track Omulate', which features a highly hypnotic voice sample and recalls the dark uplifting feeling of immortal Detroit classics. With the last original cut on the EP White Shadow', the young producer delivers another acid techno stomper, this time taking a drift to darker musical spheres. Closing this massive EP, the UK techno veterans Mak & Pasteman step up for a unique remix treatment of Omulate', mutating this track into a huge techno bomb prepared to cause serious damage on big, dark dancefloors all around the world.

The 75th EP on Moon Harbour is one that connects the past with the present: the release is
made up of three remixes and re-edits of classic tracks by label boss Matthias Tanzmann.
Charged with serving up these goods are one third of Apollonia, namely Frenchman Shonky,
Saved Records boss Nic Fanciulli and his brother Mark and, finally, Matthias himself updates
one of his own cuts.

That cut is 2008's 'Keep On', taken from Matthias' artist album Restless. The newer version is a
tweak and tidy job that subtly injects a little more roll and slide into the original's shuffling drums.
The drunken synth sounds and infectious, never ending groove remain, but everything shines
that bit brighter: dance floors will no doubt be delighted to hear this one dusted off and dropped
once again.

The next track under the spotlight is 2011's 'Puddle Trouble' by Matthias in collaboration with
label regular Dan Drastic. English brothers and influential figures in the tech house scene, Mark
and Nic Fanciulli are the ones who remix this and do so with a keen sense of rhythm. Their
version hurries along in elongated rhythmic fashion with lots of wobbly synths, subtle drops and
distant sirens all adding to the hypnotic and increasingly intense sense of groove. It fits in
perfectly with the Moon Harbour canon and is a timely update.

Lastly, Frenchman Shonky, who is a DC10 regular with his comrades in Apollonia and has just
released his debut LP with the same outfit, edits Tanzmann & Stefanik's 'Basic Needs' from
2006. This one is a little more electro inclined with its restless bassline, slapping percussion and
jumbled drums. Prickly and kinetic but with a bulbous bassline holding it all together, this one is
perfect for those late night freak outs.

Proving that Moon Harbour have evolved on their own terms whilst always staying true to their
roots, this EP is yet another modern tech house masterclass.

Vinyl only release featuring remix from Sakro

Sebastian and Chris have been close colleagues in the music scene since they both started their journey about a decade ago. Since then, they have joined forces on this magnificent release that includes two new original collaborations and two remixes by a couple of their favorite artists, Alan Castro and Coriesu. Both tracks, 'Alligator Alley' & 'Ode tu Udo' feature hints of afro-cuban rhythm patterns with the use of instruments like the cajon, congas and the udo drum to name a few. These sounds combined with punchy kicks, rolling bass-lines and melodic synth work are sure to reel in the listener closely.

'Good things come to those who wait'... Especially to those who wait for the next original Dennis Ferrer release on his imprint, Objektivity. 'Maniac 3000' is the second anthemic single from Ferrer's much anticipated upcoming album on Defected, 'Paranoia Aftermath', to drop early 2017. Tapping into his techno-roots for this one, Ferrer has managed to create an unlikely union between the groovy techno drums and the suspense of arpeggiated synth line. In Ferrer's own words the track was 'an attempt to go backwards, to move forward'.

Frag Maddin's wizard like studio techniques don't need no black magic - just solid ingredients, being boiled in his studio cauldron. In the process, the old becomes the new again. This time, in its most musical form for Kakudo Records yet. His EP is a magical kaleidoscope of sounds and feelings that work their charms on our souls, brains and hips. Think Chicago, think NYC's kinky trax of the early 90ies, think silly amounts of bass and think flourishingly funked out synths making for an individual musical language with Maddin. Timeless sounds! Point 0 is now, these ones will last!

A1: Bullish
This one rounds off the nervous and flippant, overwhelming energy of Frag Maddin's beat and chord worx while bowing down to his funk, rap and house-routines. Bullish is an agile fighter. Beware - or you miss some of the punches coming in!

A2: Teehaus
This ceremony churns the goods from the very depths. Classic house in a raw, bassy, dirty warehouse manner. Seering vocals keeping the tension and demanding synths that slowly but surely unfold th energy - like boiling water opens the teabud!

B1: Point 0
A track that serves a basic backbone to the array of tunes here. Classic house, bowing down to Kakudo's Records beloved early nineties. Every sound a puncturing pressure point again. Machine grooves hammer home the message of this EP that has no fillers but offers raw fun(k) throughout!

B2: De Wizard
Quirky, flirtatious, somewhat trancy chords fly on high. While reminiscent Detroit sounds feed your brain and the bass tickles your guts. De Wizard's recipe is to conjure things in time. Take yours and observe, for building up tension is clearly one of Frag Maddin's best tricks!

Groovers, drifters, modifiers: Berlin duo Mistake Made present their third EP on Vault Series.

Definition presents his own creations once again to Definition:music in the form of the stunning 6 track - Progession LP . Living up to his reputation, the tracks are as engaging as they are addictive and always pushing the envelopes.

Opening the show on a warm note, Come Down feat Liu Bei delicately teases us as it blooms into a massive blend of smooth synths and titillating percussion. Midway through weíre treated to an elegantly coordinated break-beat, adding a special touch and unfolding a new dimension to the track.

The title track is up now. Definition projects an electric landscape in which we ride through the night on a steel horse made of pure
electricity toward the peak-time rush and unearth ëProgressioní. A solid track throughout, from the first deliberate kick, to the delicate break and beyond.

Janus brings thick and gritty bass stabs to a driving tech house
groove, creating a blend of deep, dark realms with a hot and steamy pressure. Easing into warmer waters,

2Caught Out is vocally supported or rather enriched through the voice of Peter Joseph. A smooth and cuddly but packing groove that pushes straight into your brain never to release you after listening to it for the first time. This track produces happiness, peace and a good dose of bliss my friends!

Without Any Doubt slowly rises from nothing and transforms itself into a beast of beautiful orchestra of chords and harps.

Finally, one last vocal track to bring closure to the LP. This Mystery feat. Jinadu is a power ballad that delivers on all fronts and spreads a warm glow with a solid groove.
