Celesta Records is a brand new label kicking off with a fine EP from Kiko & Spencer K entitled Kenloto. It features two new original cuts and infectious remixes by Miguel Lobo and Paul C & Paolo Martini.

The young and exciting production pairing of Kiko & Frenchman Spencer K has been exciting dance floors with their hot hook up for a while now. Inspired by a range of modern hose and techno artists their sound is fresh and functional and always keeps floors moving.

First up here is Kenloto, a chunky bit of bass driven house with crisp perc. It builds to a nice tense peak with lots of loose, jumbled textures and will make for a fine bit of peak time listening. The other original is Whack, which is another tough house cut with firm bass, old school New Jersey snare patterns and rolling drums that are rich, warm and rubbery.

Miguel Lobo's remix is a more spritely thing with lithe chords, colourful synths and and a pent up energy that just never stops giving. Closing out the fantastic package is Paul C & Paulo Martini who remix Kenloto into a trippy affair with ghoulish voices, hard hitting drums and lots of dark wave energy that will carry you late into the night.

Eerie indeed, this track shines best in the dark of a foggy, sweating club. While a dirty rattlin' garage beat workout and swellin' bass push this track forward, it takes but a few psychoactive sounds and bubbly synth fx plus a maddening old school hiphop vocal to dig deep into your body and soul.

U Know The Drill slightly straighten out the original's skippy beat, while celebrating the dry as fuck attitude of a dirty 909 kick even more. Every drumsound is forced to ensure its filthy drive to the fullest. In order to dance, in order to pump fists, while soles are burnin and souls are explodin' on the floor.

B1: Ceci
Some techno-ish and heavy beat-roll reminiscing the likes of Green Velvet and DJ Rush in parts, meeting freaky noises and fx. A marching groove that does not need a lot besides the belching combination of kick and bass here. Should this be Techno Garage Whateva! It's a dirty game, and we love it!

B2: Curare
Curare' equals the infamous poison that is shot with deadly arrows. The shortest EP track dishes out a low slung, heavy beat, combining the drive and feel of techno, house and garage in their rawest forms. A trippy, venomous synth signal sound finishes off the victim that has become prey to the beat.

Japans Techno legend Ken Ishii transformed the originally deep character of 'Zikade' into an ultimate floorfiller with solid sounds and delicate accents. Also the German Eric Sneo skillfully re-worked this track and left his unique mark on it.

Pascal Feos raised the temperature of 'Fever' with deep Techno grooves plus Chicago and Detroit sounds. PRAXXIZ contest winner DJ Sur from Houston Texas pushed the envelope and created a funky-fresh version with some experimental elements.

Summing it up: this will blow you away!

Italian imprint Dabit Records is racking up the releases, this time enlisting the services of UK producers Hidden Spheres and HBN.

The EP opens up with 'Need Your Love' a piano cut which croons and filters its way through 7 mins of pure unadulterated house goodness.

Italian producers Die Roh are asked to work their analogue magic on the 'Need your Love' track. Upping the tempo and taking things back to the early 90s in one fell swoop. A raw, deep down and dirty interpretation of the original and a great addition to the EP.

'No House' by Hidden Spheres is a pitched down anthem of a track, big strings and delaying vocals make for an epic feel.

Finishing things off is the more tech tinged 'Control'. The Korg M1 organ bass is in full affect, nicely tied together with a chugging beat and yet another big vocal cut.

A great package with a track for every occasion.

Our man Kardinal from the fine region of Burgundy delivers again and supplies us with no less than three new fat Techno tracks for the peak time ! With his own style he has without a doubt a fine hand for great and exciting Techno tunes !!!

After the success of Ante Perry´s Turbolized EP, be an ape 02 is ready to rock the worlds dancefloors. Mono
Negro is Ante Perry´s live project together with his friend Flo Mrzdk. They released their debut EP, incl.
Kolombo remix, on Kittball Records last in April 2013 and just remixed the Danish boy Kant, which will also
appear on Kittball. The EP contains 4 tracks and includes a masterpiece of a remix by Raw Rootz, a Spanish
duo from Cordoba, and a special vinyl only track, which will not be availeable digitally. If you have listened to
the full EP, there only will be 4 words to describe it: this is DOPE SHIT!

Oscar Barila & Sergio Parrado (Kling Klong, Material Series, Trapez, Plastic City, Highway Records, My Little Dog) comes on Metropolitan with a huge track with a very cool sample that, we are sure, will move many heads! On A2 there is the remix by Fabian Argomedo (Kd Music, Bla Bla) with his deep-tech style for the most demanding situation! Limited Copies!

Munich based, Lisbon born, Lino Rodrigues, more commonly known as 'Alkalino', is the next artist on the quickly moving Italian Imprint DaBit Records. Here the Portuguese ex-patriot drops three tracks that traverse his musical output to date.

The title track, 'Feeling of Life' touches on the techier side of the house genus, a booming filtered bassline reverbs in and out of a spoken narrative by the dj, producer and owner of Intent Recordings Gene Siewing, whilst a driving, continuous beat pulls the track on. Probably the most peak time track on offer here.

Next up is 'Martin Luther King', which, surprise surprise samples the great civil rights leader himself. It has almost become a cliché within deep house to sample the Dr, but Alkalino manages to keep the spoken word to a minimum and heaps the emphasis on the musicality of the track.

The EP is rounded off by 'Isolation', the beat and percussion wouldn't sound out of place in a 'Future Sounds of London' track, if only sped up and combined with a few more rave samples, but instead they are pitched right down and complemented by a pad chord progression which works as the track's hook. A haunting vocal interlaces with the chords and bass to build an almost progressive track, a perfect way to end this EP.

A contemporary piece of house music which will shake your soul and feet. Argentinian production duo Jay West and Manuel Sahagun (Off, Mother), strip down the original song, taking out the voice and adding a nice and groovy Chicago touch. The perfect icing on the cake for this stunning ep.
