I guess everyone living in Ibiza is a gypsy in one way or another. A
multitude of roads lead here, but essentially its still an island full of
nomads and travellers who see the whole world as their home and follow a
bohemian lifestyle. Nima Gorji ended up here via music studies in Denmark
after leaving his native Iran at the age of 13.
Since he started music school, Nima has carved his own way in the music
world across continents. Achieving great success in Scandinavia through his
own production as Black Powder, and events as Verydisco, he finally settle
down in ibiza in 2005.
After being regularly playing in clubs like Space (Whats Up) , Pacha, and
Privilege (Monza), he decided to devote himself to the underground scene.
Therefore, you can always see him spin the desks at his favorite club: Ibiza
Underground. At the 2010 edition of Ibiza DJ Awards, he receive the award of
Ibiza resident DJ.
Along with a floating collective of DJs and producers he is now part of the
creative landscape of the island with his labels Welt Recordings.
In the last four years, Nima has been spinning worldwide from Spain to
Japan, Romania, south America or even Australia, etc...

After their first vinyl-release "Freitag", Frank Adelante and Dominik Vogel return on RotRaum Music with their new track "HerTzschrittmacher". Driven by a pumping leadsynth, this techno-bomb directly enters the body and will raise the roof of the club! Aiming at a timeless and characteristic sound, only hardware instruments and analog machines were used in the production.
The limited oneside 12" will come as red vinyl, containing the 10:17 min. original mix and a tool version, which is reduced to the main-synth and -percussion to use it in dj performances.

The house sound of Romania rocks worldwide dancefloor for years and it seems that more and more highly talented newcomers are emerging from this country. Amir & Butch discovered the 20 year old Iuly.B only recently and were so surprised by his sound design that they promised not only a proper EP release on their label bouq. but also a great Butch edit of his 'Frecvent'. Hypnotic, dark and twisted are expressions which come to mind immediately.

Kumia is the title of the 13th release from International Sound Laboratory and is written and produced by ISL artist Tuomas Salmela aka Phonogenic. "Kumia" connects the sound of his previous release, "Artifacts" with the continuation of the latest developments from our Finnish collaboration laboratory in Tampere, Finland. This time we also sent a sample to specialist researcher Samuli Kemppi, who also is involved with heavy duty works on labels such as Luke Slater's Mote Evolver.

Since bursting on to the scene 5 years ago, German agency Jackmode has caused quite a stir with their party-
starting sensibilities and keen ear for a dancefloor gem. What's more, they've also introduced a wealth of new
talent, not least Adana Twins, Claptone, HNQO, Kruse & Nuernberg, Round Table Knights and Doctor Dru. Their
most recent endeavor acts as a fitting snapshot to all that's great about them, with 5 Years of Jackmode the sort
of record they've built their consistent reputation on.

Darknet returns to the front with it's 6th vinyl release, and brings
respected and renowned master of darkness Kai Randy Michel to engage in
battle for them, with this powerful 4 tracker called 'Druckhammer' in
which we see no one else than Rob Strobe from Frankfurt, aiding Kai in
his fierce battle.

The title track delivers just what it promises. Dusky, sinister sounds,
backed by a driving percussion, with the background effects magnifying
the feeling of an underwater decompression being in full process, and
the small breakdown just giving enough time and space to catch your
breath before the diving sickness hits you again.

Rob Strobe's remix doesn't grant you much time to mellow off. The
constant explosions and raw effects give this eerie 'decompression gone
wrong' feeling, and fools the listener into supposed breakdowns, but
instead chooses to throw things back at you even harder.

With the next version of 'Druckhammer' actually being called
'Dekompression', you know the apple won't fall far from the tree. Going
for the more minimalistic approach, this one drives on the moody
background effects fully, the far away sounds of rides and hats only
proving that you are indeed a long way from home.

Completing the EP, 'Tiefenrausch' version perfectly holds the standard
set by the above, maintaining the right amount of darkness, power and
fright. Just like the name suggests, it's colorless and odorless, but
heavily dangerous through it's high percentage of dancefloor radiation.

Liverpool's Dale Howard has become synonymous with quality house music since bursting on to the
scene four years ago with releases on Neurotraxx, Starlight and Sleaze Records. Since then he has
become a 'go to' man for standout productions with his music finding a home with respected labels such
as Morris Audio, OFF Recordings and Noir. Now this much-lauded producer is joining forces with new kid
on the block Silence in Metropolis, a brand new label coming from Washington DC with its sights set firmly
on releasing the best in House music.

The 'Give Me EP' opens with the original version of the title track, a bumpin' deep house affair that marries
rolling house rhythms with classic garage elements to provide an instantly hooky cut. Howard's production
skills shine with tightly edited vocals, skittering beats and subtle keys, quality stuff. The original version of
'Give Me' is backed with a remix from OFF and ALiVE artists Leftwing & Kody who deliver a garage
flavoured killer complete with high strings, percussive organ stabs and old school bassline.

The second of the two originals, 'Get You', again journeys into deep house / garage crossover territory
with a Nineties feel fuelled by soulful vocal parts, shuffling drums and classic hooks. The remix duties this
time fall to JMF, a producer who is working with labels such as Holic Trax and Static Audio, here he
twisted 'Get You' into a chunky and raw house workout that is a perfect closer for this superb package.
