"La French and German Connection - EP" (Ton liebt Klang)
Aus einem Musikgeschmack entstand ein Kontakt, aus einer Verbindung wurde eine Kollaboration und aus einer Zusammenarbeit wurde eine gemeinsame EP.
"incontrol" aus Lyon und "Wolfgang Lohr" aus Berlin produzierten zunächst nur virtuell, über Dropbox, zusammen und schoben sich gegenseitig die Bälle zu. Dann wurden die Ideen im Studio ausgearbeit und finalisiert. Das Ergebnis ist ein Electro Swing Track "Le Swing Ist King", der mit seiner eingebauten Tanzgarantie nach vorne peitscht und einen satten Ohrwurm hinterlässt.
Der zweite gemeinsame Track "Holy Blues" siedelt sich im noch recht frischen Electro Blues Genre an. Hier treffen bluesige Vocals auf Mundharmonika, Gitarre und eine satte Glide-Bassline.

Abgerundet wird die EP durch starke Remixe in eigener Interpretation, von "Shemian" (Deutschland), der als einer der Electro Swing Pioniere gilt, und 2011 sogar für einen der besten Electro Swing Artist nominiert wurde. Und "Grant Lazlo" (Marseille) der in Frankreich und auch international zu einer echten Größe mutiert ist! Die EP wird sowohl auf Vinyl, als auch digital im Juni 2013 bei dem Hamburger Label "Ton liebt Klang" released werden. Eine starke Symbiose, mit viel Groove und Melodie für den Club....c'est la vie!

"OFF regulars Mat.Joe from Berlin already proved to be a quintessential part of the new movement that fuses deep house beats with heavy basslines with hip hop and r&b influences. They come back strong with a new multitrack ep. No fillers here, everything is crafted to be an amazing dancefloor weapon.

'Showtime' starts up the party with a killer house groove topped with luscious hip hop vocals and ghetto arrangements while

'Hypnotic' drops a supersexy r&b vocal hook and a bouncy bassline for yet another peak house deep bomb.

Last comes 'Somebody', a 909-infused house masterpiece with soul influenced vocals that will sure jack everyone's bodies.

On remix duties, with releases and features on Visionquest, Mobilee, Noir and Souvenir comes Forrest, who reworks 'Somebody' into yet another dancefloor mover with a sub-bass driving groove that take the vocal work to a different dimension.

This is one of those records where you can't really pick a favourite so you better grab them all!"

The 2 tracks that make up the first release to fully convey the spirit of the label, interconnectivity between different sound to agglomerate and coalesce into one nature, plastic music.....
Track A1 is as alien autopsy with his heart bursting with blood acid, remaining constant at its base remind Chicago sounds.....
Track B1 is not blood but mechanically oil that through a metal body, gives rise to an endless journey between the Dub Techno and Detroit area....

Our 8th release is proudly presenting Germany's legendary Turntablerocker. Coming from the German hiphop scene of
the 90ies the DJ & Producer team is known for their unconventional mixture of House, Breakbeats, Hip-Hop and Funk
& Soul. They've called it Electronic wildstyle. Now with the their EP "Grow UP" on JEUDI Records they are going
back to the roots of deep club music. Strong samples with a deep, rolling groove. Bringing up some warm spring
feelings, let your thoughts be colourful again and thus to have a big potential to become summer anthems.

"Oh set me free" was one of the hottest and played track contained in "3 Years of Paul's Boutique" sampler, so it was about time to release it as a single,this time with a pair of brilliant remixes!
The first comes from a very well known french duo Jef K and Gwen Maze,fresh from their recent release on Cecille,who gaves their deepest touch to the track,while newcomer italian talent
DJ Kool Dek (Area Remote,Saved,Be As One) adds his crazy and sneaky-beats.Last but not least,Luca himself reworked the original and creates a dancefloor killer putting some new elements in the"Re-grooved mix" !

Continuing the trend of breaking new artists, Klasse Recordings returns with a fresh new EP from equally fresh new artists. FJAAK are a three-piece production and DJ outfit hailing from Berlin. Young and full of energy these newcomers turn in a stunningly original and well-crafted EP that is well beyond their years.

The Remember Me EP kicks off with its title track, an all analogue journey into a trippy underworld of arpeggio basslines and wonky pads. Robotic voices boldly repeat refrains whilst synths fight for space over a cantankerous groove. The track drops twice with great effect, making a great use of space and suspense.

Small Gadget heads towards darker territories, sitting somewhere in between House, Techno and UK Rhythms the track builds itself around a pulsing bassline. Minimal in its construction, Small Gadget's strength lies in its functionality and those spaces inbetween the sounds.

It is with great pleasure that we welcome Clone Recordings regular Arttu to Klasse. The now Berlin-based Fin turns in two remixes for the Remember Me EP. Remix Number One is a blistering and fuzzy trip into the mind of Arttu and his synthetic friends, a detuned melody repeats over playful drum machine grooves whilst the original pads sit over the track. Remix Number One is available only on the KLS026 vinyl.

Second up for the remix team is American producer and WT Records owner Willie Burns, Mr. Burns' work has recently been showcased on L.I.E.S, Clone and Trilogy Tapes and we're very lucky to have him on board. Sounding like a long-forgotten Italo-Electro-EBM crossover hit, Willie Burns' re-works the arpeggios and vocals into a much darker and spookier direction....direct and straight to the point, the remix wastes no time getting stuck into the thick of it.
