Long-awaited “Uritorco Reworks” e.p. has finally landed.

Argentinian veterans Franco Cinelli and Ernesto Ferreyra teamed up to rework an old Ernesto’s classic.

Franco has been playing the original version for years and got the idea to remix it just for them to play. The result is so good that they wanted to share and release it as an e.p.

By taking a completely different approach they both transport us to the same place…outer space.

Long time friend and DMT contributor Lee Holman delivers a deep, atmospheric, dreamy and bewitching three-tracker for Knotweed. Lee explores the inner depth of his synthesizers and drum machines to come up with some heavy layered pieces of techno.

Orlando B returns with a timeless track, ‘Foreversong’ for the sixth installment on his ‘Contemplate Recordings’ label.

Running in at just over 10 minutes, ‘Foreversong’ is an emotive “tour de force” showcasing his love for nostalgic, ‘Detroit’ influenced melodies and tugging string lines. With its uplifting vibe and atmospheric breakdown, ‘Foreversong’ is the perfect “end of the night” track.

‘New Day’ kicks off the B-Side with an uplifting piano house intro’ and a cheeky oldskool vocal sample. The arrangement builds gradually before the kick and bass line drop, taking it to the next level.

Closing track ‘Dark Place’ goes down a stripped back techno route to compliment the first two melodic house tracks. The main riff was born out of a jam session, playing around with a twisted hypnotic synth line which mutates throughout keeping the listener locked in. Muted percussion and a subby bass sound give this track a dark warehouse vibe, ideal for moody clubs around the land.

Soul Imago returns with a murky three song EP from the relatively unknown Italian producer Ruff Degan.

The song titles describe the songs well taking us on a melancholy journey of sound with the uptempo grooves and beats
of "Anxiety Always" into the still sad but optimistic mid tempo chugger "Mind Garden" and closing out with the techno
abstractions of "Shortness Breath".

Anxiety is a continuous theme throughout this EP but serves as a bit of therapy for some of us who are far too familiar with these
emotions and conditions. After all, sometimes knowing you're not alone in feeling this way can be the best medicine.

Dim the lights, spark a spliff and let your mind go where the music
takes you. This one will take you on a strange dark and beautiful trip into the unknown.

"Acropolis EP" is the first vinyl release of 24/H, an independent record label based at Tempio Del Futuro Perduto (the Temple Of The Lost Future), a relatively new cultural space & club in Milan.

The label was founded by Alessandro Vaccari (aka Marthial), young Italian artist and DJ resident of the Temple, with the aim to invite emerging and renowned artists to reside within its studio and dormitory spaces and craft a release within 24 hours of time.
In this release, Stanislav Tolkachev showcases his well-known personal attitude and dark production style which let him earn the reputation of techno genius. The Temple hosted Stanislav Tolkachev’ artist residence for eleven days, in order to contribute to the label's mission. After selecting the equipment and making some changes to the studio, the artist began his 24-hours journey.

Tolkachev created a complex, well-defined two-tracks pack that result in powerful, destabilizing and impressive narrative, following a non-existing musical path and memories of his past. The release also features a remix by Marthial himself, who reinterpreted Stanislav’s work according to his own style.

24H project was also born as a stimulus for any producer living the spaces of the Temple, as a challenge to bring out the production skills within a certain amount of time and by using specific machines, deprived of the comfort of his own studio.

Through this idea, 24/H creates a union between all the artists who took part in the challenge, each one expressing their own stories and musical interpretation of the label concept. The goal
of the label is also, therefore, to test each artist on equal terms, and thus increasing creativity.

Romania’s Victor Stancov returns to his own Simple Tracks with its second release, entitled ‘Bagnols Shuffle’ and accompanied by a remix from Cynosure’s Mike Shannon.

Victor Stancov launched his Simple Tracks imprint in 2020 with an EP from himself, featuring a remix from Perlon trio Wareika. Perfectly setting the tone for the imprint which leans towards slick, refined house grooves with a micro house twist. Here the story continues with the label’s second release once again retaining this aesthetic and keeping things bouncy and playful.

Title-track ‘Bagnols’ Shuffle’ leads the release, merging shuffled drums and glitched out percussion with fluttering stab sequences and oft, billowing pad lines. ‘Nothing Wrong With Going Back’ follows and brings a more loop-driven feel courtesy of driving rides, rolling snares and bumpy bass running alongside cinematic strings and bright stabs.

Opening the flip-side is ‘Georgie’s Units’, a dubbed-out house groove fuelled by echoing chords, rumbling toms and crunchy drums. Lastly Cynosure head honcho rounds out the release with his take on ‘Georgie’s Units’, treating us to a typically twisted take on the original with mind bending modulations, intricately nuanced bass tones, whirling synths and skippy hats throughout.

After Digital Releases in the past (SYMB043 Identity Module EP and SYMB034 We need to EP) the idea was born to bring both together for a collaboration and their first physical release. The Split EP contains besides the Original Tracks each a remix of their counterpart and showcase why both gain wide recognition with their style of modern crafted techno music by artists worldwide as Richie Hawtin, Dubfire and Marco Carola.
