Label head Jay Lumen returns to Footwork with a new massive dance floor killer release Trust EP'.

Firing off with Trust'. A fat main-stage Techno roller comprising powerful bass elements resulting in Jay's unmistakable signature sound. The tune is full of banger FX's which supports taking a journey into darker spheres.

Next up is Detection' a chord lead track on fat bass-lines and heavy Techno kicks proppeling jolly festival crowds into a massive Acid party experience.

Paul Rudder joins the Something Else family, with Intr0beatz returning on remix duties for the labels 6th release in their 12" only series. No gimmicks, just real house music vibes that jack and groove for days.

Astronaut Music welcomes Obrotka for a new track thatches backed with an excellent reshape from Vince Watson. The artist hails from Hungary and as well as his own radio show has played all over Europe. He has worked in record shops since the 90s, too, so has a fine knowledge of what it takes to make an essential track.

His Taurus in Sevilla is an organic deep and dubby track for the heads. It has deft sound designs, loose percussion that is colourful and alive and great trumpet sounds. The whole thing makes you want to shake your body and get down.
Scottish producer Vince Watson then remixes and strips things back so that the groove is more prominent. The resulting drums roll on and on and embellished with great synths, magical chords and overall has a spine tingling atmosphere that is richly detail and truly emotional.

Chilean Tempura Records and Aires Music owner Pablo Inzunza arrives on JWB with a quality EP following releases on Highgrade Records, 8 bit, Bla Bla and Little Helpers to name but a few.

Una Sombra is a slow-building slice of tribal-tinged techno, driven by bolshy tom throbs and a menacing, discordant arpeggio rhythm. Layer upon layer of snapping percussion and atonal stabs are built up as the track progresses, taking it from humble beginnings to a more intense crescendo.

Lukas Simmer (Bla Bla / Wrong State) delivers a deeper remix, all whirring synth FX and the slightest of percussion creating an infectious minimal groove as sub drops envelop the track. Aldo Cadiz (Desolat / VIVa / JETT) amps things up a little on his rework, honing in on the tribal element with a rhythmic bassline and organic percussion hits (cowbell, anyone), letting hectic cymbal rides and shuffling hi-hats bring the energy.

B-side Luminia is another exemplary workout. As with the title track, he keeps proceedings to around the five-minute mark, making for a succinct and deadly weapon. A gnarly, acidic bassline growl filters into play gradually with menacing intent, weaving in and out of the superbly hip-shaking percussive groove and warped vocal FX until white noise blasts and reverbs heighten the atmosphere further.

For its fourth installment in the vinyl-only series VRV, Vivus Records invites Otaku Records founders Mario Meneghini and Domenico Savio, aka Laboratory OTK.

Having both grown up on the dancefloors of underground clubs in Milan, they decided to fund Otaku Records to share their vision of music with the world. It would make sense, then, to also create music together and When Life Kicks In is a fascinating journey into their creative world.

The adventure starts with a Large Hadron Collider, a track full of lively grooves and some frisky bass lines that blend in perfectly. This one is clearly for the dancefloor, with its hi-hats and joyful percussions making you want to get your feet moving.

SIT's lovely warm-up set for Ricardo Villalobos at Sunwaves caught life the instant they started playing When Life Kicks In, the second track on this EP. It starts a little slow, but when that mesmerizing bass gets going, you get a beaming energy boost immediately.

A more haunting atmosphere is present in Laser Engraver, with some idiosyncratic background noises and a powerful bass line making this one a more contemplative affair.

The curtain falls with Some How It Worked and it certainly did. The piano chords are just splendid and an alluring sense of calmness encapsulates this track. It is a perfect closing statement.

Saturday Dive by Giash was definitely our first pick for the first track on this release. We have been following this amazing producer for some time and we are really glad to have him on our label.
Klavier by Gri perfectly sits beside our opening track. With smooth atmospheres and laid back drums it really gives that calm feel and is perfect for those early morning sets.
Stratocumuli by Oneee stands strongly on our b side, with a bit more freakish vibe, but nicely rounded up by dreamy pads and spacey sounds.
Riser by Vincent Casanova is the final track on our fourth vinyl release. Another track filled with really nice and smooth atmospheric pads, accompanied by breaky drums and mystic voices.

VH001 is the first vinyl release on Hybrasil's self titled imprint, the four track package features 2 exclusive vinyl only tracks. This release also features a track that has featured exclusively in Hybrasil live sets for the past three years. Hybrasil has had a career defining year, performing with Carl Cox & Adam Beyer on the Amnesia Terrace with One Night Stand and closing Ireland's Electric Picnic Festival on the iconic Anachronica stage.

'Sentinel' presents seven plus minutes of deeply rooted, rolling techno. The vast rubber drums are run through with icy hi hats. It's a hypnotic cut with sombreness in its chords.

Soul Imago returns with the 2nd sampler from the German imprint and this one picks up where the last one left off with some nice basement grooves and nice experimental hip hop beats.
The sampler starts with "Soul Control" a Detroit-esque house chugger from French producer Steven Wobblejay who's already made remarkable records on labels such as Compost Records, Jazzmin Records, K7 and FACES.

He is also known for his work with Creative Swing Alliance with Pablo Valentino. The A side closes with a smoothed out hip hop joint with plenty of rhodes and swing from MadDai from Stuttgart Germany who outside of producing beats is a multi audio talent also doing live beats showcases on his SP. The B-side starts off with "Misery" from Stuttgart born Berlin based producer Tim Toh.
Misery is an off kilter house jammy with a light touch on the drums and a very abstract but also straightforward melody line. It's a six minute jam that feels more like 3 as the sounds melt away the time.

This one will do well for fans of Theo Parrish and the more jazz oriented side of deep house music.
Just like the A side Soul Imago shows it's not only a dance label but is all about the beats with a swingy chop heavy hip hop joint from Swiss producer Melodiesinfonie
called "toohpaste". Toothpaste is a jazzy venture with recognizable acapella chops that set it off just right.
Melodiesinfonie is co-founder of Boyoom Connective and has worked with labels such as Box Aus Holz, Soulection and even for Soul Imago back in 2012.
All in all This second sampler is a testimony of what the label and it's artists are all about. Good music and good vibes.

After long being a supporter of the label, Knee Deep In Sound boss Hot Since 82 now steps up to release on Moon Harbour. The Englishman's original is remixed by Matthias Tanzmann to make for an essential new package.

Hot Since 82 ascended through the ranks very quickly, and now he not only turns out a slick style of house and tech, but holds his own label showcases all over the world. With legions of fans and an ever growing roster, it has become a real taste making operation, as have Daley Padley's own fine productions.

'Evolve or Die' is another one of those: it is an expressive eight minute affair that journeys far off into the cosmos, with twinkling keys and lush synth layers all adding colour and intergalactic vibes to the firmly rooted kicks and claps. Bursts of white noise release the pressure and the whole thing keeps on building to a terrifically intense peak that will have dancefloors in raptures.

The remix from Tanzmann is a deeper, more rumbling affair led by jostling kick drums and slick bass. Run through with radiant synth smears, it's full of warmth and soul and cannot help but get you jiggling your body in that textbook Tanzmann way.

This is a tight and tidy two track package that offers very different sounds for different parts of the night.

As part of the MOTHER RECORDINGS family, Berlin-based SUPERLOVER has supplied several outstanding works, such as 'Steam', 'Stronger' (a remix of the Boris Dlugosch Original), 'Love Me' and his summer 2015 anthem 'Love Machine'. 2017 has started with a bang as 'Heart Drive' hit Beatport House Chart at #2. Here, once again, he's supplying absolute fire with a 3-track House EP called 'Piano Wunder'.

'Piano Wunder' is a full frontal assault using house music's favourite instrument, and here, Superlover delivers some energy raising stabbed-chords alongside a whaling female lead vocal to create the tension and release of big room proportions.

'Good Times' rolls out with a hugely emotive, filtered houser, a big, bold nod to the game-changing 00s sound. The chopped-to-bits piano sample is wrapped in phaser and filter effects but it, together with additional strings and a chunky electro house beat, make this an impressive modern take of a bygone sound that will so easily seduce dance floors big and small.

Superlover´s '1996 ' track lights up the dancefloor from the very first beat. He adds to his super funky French House tune a lot of breathing space, slowing things down and filtering and affecting it in all the right places. It makes for a flirtatious work of a classic House tune that'll keep the dancefloor burning all night long.

MOTHER RECORDINGS welcome back esteemed Berlin duo MAT.JOE for another EP that is packed with real heat. Originally from Hannover, they moved to Berlin and have since impressed with their soul infused rhythms on plenty of top labels like Hot Creations & Aaarival, but they are regularly supplying the heat for MOTHER!

LOVE STREAM is first and is a seven minute bubbler with nice loose toms, driving sub bass and classic vocal samples that will get dancers moving and shaking. It's warm and filled with good time vibes.

I GO is more physical, with raw drums and sharp percussive hits all driving along beneath a male vocal with real attitude. It's sleazy and direct and sure to make you sweat. Last of all.

SO HIGH is a big track with powerful drum loops, slapping hits and a fiery vocal that all come with healthy bass and rubbery drums. It's a great way to close out another perfectly functional and fun EP from these ever on point producers.

Dudley Strangeways & Michael McLardy's Leftback imprint has long been a reputable source of discerning house and techno. On their latest, they remind us just why they've become such a trusted label, with their 14th vinyl-only release emphasising the fact with some aplomb. A collaborative effort between label head Dudley Strangeways and prolific German producer David GTronic, the Diminution EP is a potent reminder of both producer's talents and is a typically eclectic listen to boot.

Opening up the release is the sounds of the title track. A fast-paced, albeit relatively minimal effort, it's made up of few parts but still commands the listener's attention courtesy of its many oddball motifs and an underlying baseline that really provides a spark. A delicate yet intricate track, it's the sort of weapon that will brilliantly bridge the point between the night's more down tempo and peak time moments. TIJN then comes correct on the remix tip with a brilliant remix of the latter. The British producer has been seen his work crop up on a host of esteemed labels recently, and this effort is another that'll slide neatly into an already impressive discography. More frantic than the original, it calls on its charming melodies to produce an ethereal, hypnotic track that will work wonders on a large system.

The B side then kicks off with Melee', a delicate track that's imbued with gentle, sun kissed motifs from the off. Reminiscent of classic Mathew Jonson tracks, it's nothing if not an intriguing antidote to matters elsewhere. Culminating the package is the sounds of label boss Michael McLardy, who perks up with a slamming remix of Melee'. Drawing on the original's emotive sound, he whips the intensity up several notches and leaves us with a track that's notable for its ability to slide into any part of a set. Filled with a range of emotions, it handily emphasises all that's great about this release.

Uruguayan producer Ema Remedi makes her first appearance on the label with three original cuts spanning from deep atmospheres to raw dance floor beats showing us her unique approach to house music.

Fresno, mysterious new project will release Loosen Up 001, setting the imprint's sound direction uniting the label dual love of refined house grooves and modular synths on this inaugural four track EP.

While carefully handling their respective careers, postponing then their obvious collaboration, Möd3rn trio's members have capitalized its desire and now deliver its mere substance, in the
rightest moment, where, simply, all the distant forces converge.

The six daring, expert hands merge now into a unique entity, unanimously moving within the same effort towards techno music. The formula is elaborated freely: each one's adjunctions -subtle keys, nervous chords, underground blows, rhythmical uproars- pour into a thick maelstrom, opaque, condensing Detroit's grieving sensibilities as well as last decade's bewildering cacophonies.
Chance intertwined their paths and now the three companions celebrate both the friendship that resulted and the good fortune that has driven it, by improvising live together as one faceless, solid body agitated by the urge of dance and music, composing the material that shall be processed later on to form their eponym label's releases.

This first album delivers us a raw & emotional techno. Through this long format, the 3 producers indulge more and expand the scope of their musical playground. Illegal Alien next catalog number IARLTD006 belongs to Italian artist and Illegal Alien member, Mari Mattham. Instinct is the name of his brand new work and includes three remixes by Xhin, Fabrizio Lapiana and Iori, all of them providing outstanding
interpretations of Instinct.

Gynoid Audio label is back on wax after a long summer break with this latest offering from Swedish producer Mikael Jonasson. The A-side kicks off with "Fata Morgana" which is without doubt a techno rave weapon of the highest proportions. On remix duty here is Marco Bailey with hard-driven, pounding techno tool, while the flip side belongs to Flug who delivers not one but two brilliant remixes of the title track. Firstly is the deeper, rawer, more hypnotic mix, followed by a more spacious, clubby, acid-techno version.

The next EP on CCDC comes from Owen Ni. The 19 year old from Alabama shows up with some deep
tunes that ride the line between house and techno in his EP entitled Studies'.

A1: Adolescence - Chunky percussion begins the experience quickly followed by morphing chord
stabs that give of a bright feeling of energy. The percussion changes as the stabs make up the
headlining space, later a vox chords come in to help fill out the tune. Meanwhile a pulsating bass line
is riding so subtly in the underneath the brightness.

A2: Running By The Beat - Deep chord flow while the kick drum slowly appears to establish the
groove. A voice is heard meanwhile the baseline is pulsating. Minimal percussion is heard, yet really
it on the slow build until the entire groove is established

B1: Running By The Beat (Whim-ee Remix) - Whim-EE decides to take it into straight beating
territory. The tempo picks up as the distorted kick drum wangs the woofers. Percussion comes in
slowly, and an acid line takes up the main attention of the track. The vocals are in audible, however it
fits the feel of the idea. Sparse elements continue to make surprise appearances, as the chords are re-
freaked.

B2: Studies - Swirling chords scrape through the air showcases Owen's emotions. In beat down mode,
the percussion comes in slowly to establish a groove. The percussion is low and really for those
heads that like to rock those slower hypnotic waveforms.

Rudder & Kresy join the Roots For Bloom camp with a cocktail of deep house cuts. The title track Stateless is emotional and grooving, with the likes of Maya Jane Coles picking up on it immediately. Its a track that has the ability to transport the listener elsewhere. To complete the A side Boulevard hits hard with an analogue baseline, pads and vocal swirls to induce a closed eyes, head down groove. Holdin On is everything dreamy and uplifting you need, with lush chords and vocal stabs with strings washing over throughout. Release myself sits more in line with the warm up hours or daytime drinks in the sunshine vibe. This EP covers a full spectrum and will cover many bases in a DJ arsenal.

For its second release, the French record label is delivering 4 house traxx from its founders Real J & Jus Jam (aka Jam For Real), Kerstone and a guest : Evolve. As always, the vinyl comes with a strong themed artwork with a hand drawn palm tree on the label.

For their next release, Moon Harbour welcome a new artist to the family in the form of Athens based Greek producer, Vangelis Kostoxenakis.

Kostoxenakis has made waves with his productions on Snatch!, Suara and Kling Klong, all under an array of aliases. Something of a perfectionist, his formal studies of sound design and music technology have allowed him to conjure his own unique takes on tech house. He also runs his own label Talk of the Town, and here proves he is not one to follow trends.

Opening his account is the perfectly driving Dig It', which powers along with rock solid kicks as the muffled chatter of a party atmosphere is off in the distance. Filters, fills and razor sharp hi hats all pepper the groove and a real raw energy pervades throughout. The excellent 'Hip It' then looks to classic US garage for a bit of sweet swing style, with air raid sirens going off and amping up the energy to rave-y levels.

The freaky 'Get High' is a busy brew of drilling synth stabs, police sirens and punchy kicks. Rolling snares, skewed chords and clipped vox all get sprinkled into the mix and mean this one is restless and energetic, keeping you on your toes throughout. Last but not least, 'Jack Attack' is an airy tech groove with cosmic keys raining down between thundering stabs as a vocal encourages you to jack. It's stuffed with ideas and slick by design.

Inventive, off kilter and filled with real world samples, these are playful, high functioning tracks that hit the mark each and every time.

AdMaiora continues his unstoppable journey searching for the finest techno and tech house. To celebrate our 16th release we will mainly focus on the techno world with an exclusive EP from Tuscany born Marco Effe with Amsterdam based 2000 and One on the remix side.

Marco has being pushed to the big audience by Sven Vath in 2012, when he released on Cocoon his most famous track 'Jellied Eels'. In the last couple of years he didn't stop producing music with releases on labels such as Etruria Beat, On Edge Society and SCI+TEC to name a few.

In his debut EP on AdMaiora he smashes with two original techno destroyers. 'Basewax' is an heads down bigroom techno cut to set on fire any dancefloor with a nice combination of regular techno drums and Detroit inspired synths. The second track called 'Rawhere' is another distinctive raw gem which marks Marco as one of the most genuine talent in the techno scene: massive pad shots, rhythmic toms and delayed synths make of this one the next must-have for the summer.

On the remix duties we are more than excited to see the Dutch man himself 2000 and One. The '100% Pure' and 'Area Remote' boss makes of 'Rawhere' an explosive 909 killer remix, exploiting all his experience as a producer. The things go straight and hard without a break until new pads and bassline kick in to twist all the things done before.

BLK DRP is back. This time Michael Klein invited Eduardo de la Calle and TWR72 to support the #2 of his label. Deep groovers and strong smashers in here.

Thirtyonetwenty - the international dialling code for Amsterdam - is the city's hot Techno imprint co-founded by Sandy Huner and Dave Ellesmere in 2007, now run solely by Sandy. For Thirtyonetwentys next strike we welcome back Nick Hollyster & Robin Orlando!

In 2008 Nick Hollyster who is originally from Paris moved to Valencia where he met Robin Orlando, who also happened to live there at the time, the two shared a strong passion for music and a friendship was born, it didn't take long before the duo started colaborating on tracks in the studio, which resulted in various releases on labels such as ThirtyOneTwenty, Plastic City and Resopal Shallware.

For their second release on Thirtyonetwenty they deliver two deep Detroit influenced tracks, also included are two remixes by Techno legends 2000 and One and Steve Stoll, enjoy!

Up first this time round though Neg pairs with Spinetti and Tommy All for title-track 'Twenty Euros For Dancing' a smoothly evolving slice of house fuelled by dusty drums, choppy disco licks and an amalgamation of vocal murmurs. Neg joins Pech for 'Back From Hollanda' next, laying focus on jazz tinged bass lines, fluttering wind instruments and loose organic percussion. Opening the flip is 'Hellon Sun' from Neg and Tommy All, retaining a similar musicality and jazz influence via melodious Rhodes and multi-layered synth lines alongide an infectious sub bass and shuffled rhythms. 'I Trust A Stranger' then rounds out the package, courtesy of Neg and Spinetti, taking a more stripped-back approach this time round with rumbling low-end, minute percussion and bright piano sequences.

The latest in GYNLTD vinyl series is this superb brand new EP from Sydney's DJ Hi-Shock under his Advanced Human guise. 'Kilimanjaro' is a hypnotic journey of filtered synth stabs, driving rhythms and pulsating basslines that will appease fans of proper techno. The main track acerbic sweetness was released on Freude am Tanzen's digital imprint FAT-zig and already gained support from artists like Kerry Chandler, Karotte, Mathias Kaden or Marc Romboy! Roots For Bloom hit release number eleven with another newcomer to the label. Mara Lakour deliver straight up house grooves from France to the UK based label. Clark St is the big hotter here with powerful stabs and synth lines and that ever present prominent low end that Roots For Bloom is becoming known for. For its second release of 2018, microcastle welcomes the mysterious Cornucopia project back to the label for a new EP. The publicity shy artist first appeared in May of 2016 when 'The Day You Got Older And Stronger' was released courtesy of Gorje Hewek & Izhevski's Shanti Moscow Radio. Shortly thereafter came his microcastle debut with 'Pursuit of the Orange Butterfly'. A lo-fi, organic and deeply musical creation that the underground fell in love with. 2017 was met with just one release, 'Letter For Poly' which launched Lee Burridge's new Tale & Tone imprint. Sitting at #1 in Beatport's overall Top 100 the track was also aired on BBC Radio 1 by Kolsch and by year's end was considered one of 2017's best deep house tracks. Now returning to the comfortable home of microcastle, Cornucopia presents his much anticipated 'Forever Gone' EP.

Spread across three tracks, 'Forever Gone' is a transcendent blend of music and nature, an organic methodology which Cornucopia seems so apt at crafting. Beginning with the evolving textures, exotic drums and tonal creativities of the title cut, the EP then shifts energy to the modular intensity and oriental themes of 'Big Sky', before ultimately melting down to the tranquil, meditative yet spiritually uplifting expedition that is 'Epathia'.

After contributing a smashing remix to the first release on blank, UK producer Kalyde is coming back to the emerging German imprint with a fantastic EP of his own. Growing up in Detroit, he never got involved with electronic music until he went to university in Bristol, where he honed his production and DJ skills before resettling in London. Not long after that crucial step, an impressive string of releases followed on great labels like Skint, Madtech, Avotre and Roush. Kalyde has rapidly advanced to be one of the most exciting new talents in the UK's modern house & techno scene, and also has become a sure shot on DJ sets of big players from the likes of Annie Mac, Loco Dice, Eats Everything and many more.

Kalyde is famous for his fantastic ability to provide a huge energy boost without getting reckless, no matter if at one of his legendary extended DJ sets or in the studio cooking up the next big dancefloor banger. The Clone EP on Blank is the perfect representation of this sentiment. Every single track is a bona fide floor filler designated to land in the crates of the best house & techno DJs on the planet.
