Cassius and Pharrell Williams surely need no introduction to anyone alive. Boom Bass an Zdar have been one of the top 5 players in the French House Music scene since the early 90s, also covering Downbeats and other excursions from what seemed to be hip at the moment. Pharrell definitely is the current #1 if you're talking about any music in the charts that's funky and danceable.

In 2016 Cassius asked youngster Kolja for a remix for their first Maxi of their upcoming Album - Ibifornia but back at the time no Vinyl release was planned. In 2017 the S4AW guys asked them if they could do a 12 of this great tune. All parties involved agreed and so here we are - with an additional, previously unreleased Disco remix on top. Surely this will make a super summer hit for the beach and the clubs likewise...

Summer 2018 sees the beginning of the mysterious TZU series. The first in the series boasts 4 heavily swung cuts delivering deep textured grooves designed strictly for the dance floor. No names, no nonsense, just quality underground sounds.

Le Louche's track selections are a result of his never-ending search for finding the perfect grooves that soothe the soul.
He aims to synthesise his musical influences to create the type of music that he appreciates the most: groovy basslines and deep synths tied together by a shuffling house beat. His first release on vinyl on Daydream perfectly exemplifies this.

The French duo Dixia Sirong pays tribute to the Singaporean Velvet Underground club, where they first discovered and experienced the power of House music. Their eclectic inspired sound is placed between hard bass grooves and tranquil wavelength. Both producers process aims to merge harmony, rhythm and texture into a unique way of composing and shaping their vibe.

German techno mistress Klaudia Gawlas delivers yet another strong release titled MANIFEST including a remix by prolific Scottish producer Edit Select.

The EP maintains a steady flow which builds upon the producer's dark and hypnotic grooves.

It begins with MARGIN which seems taken from a chase scene of a horror movie and sets the upbeat and tense atmosphere of the EP. Edit Select's special touch on MARGIN's remix fascinates with its synth soundscapes and adds a more atmospheric and dreamy feel to the original track. MANIFEST picks up where MARGIN left off, with its heavy bass and rumbling drums. Closing track ADDITIONAL creates an even darker vibe with the distorted vocals and the haunting explosive bass and lead lines.
Packed with dancefloor weapons MANIFEST is set to be released June 8th via Hungarian techno imprint Blackrod.

Monologue is a brand new label founded by the AltaVoz creator Max D. Blas and the producer and Kosmophono label owner Alex Piccini, that comes out of the blocks firing on all cylinders thanks to an essential EP from Ryan Crosson.

Crosson, of course, has long been a part of the Visionquest collective, as well as having his own esteemed back catalogue wth releases on labels like Minus, Mdrnty and Brachtune. The Detroit artist is always evolving, and here shows us his grasp of elastic groove and freaky atmospheres is as strong as ever.

The title track is up first, What State I'm In featuring Cari Golden. It is a high tempo, high intensity track with slick and quick drums and hits and molten sci-fi melodies all racing along and taking you with them. Golden's vocals are hurried in the mix to add extra freakiness and the whole thing really sucks you in.

Dumb Dancin' is up next and is eight minutes of loose limbed and liquid minimal techno. Claps bring funk, the drums are restless and infectious and subtle vocals are like whisps of smoke that come and go to add real steam to the groove. Wonky synths blurt out at the mid-point and are sure to blow minds when heard in some darkened club.

Guti is a long time South American talent with ties to Desolat and Be As One amongst others. Here he remixes the original into something more pumping and heads down, a driving track for the dead of night. All in all this is a fine way to kick off what is sure to be an essential label.

Our second vinyl release 'Apus La Cariera' comes from Mihai Pol and it is an organic reinterpretation of the musical influences that Mihai gathered and perfected him as an newly emerging artist.
TRCKV02 is harmonious flared release with sounds pitching having been placed in a frenziedly yet smart allegory, only to create a well rounded three track release. 'Apus La Cariera' follows a mystical allure to its journey, whereas 'Raw' is more of an unpolished track, especially aimed to be a rough piece of the release. 'Prepareu' on the other hand intrigues the B-side with an uneven story to tell.

Indigenous Electronic is a recently launched vinyl only label, seeking to showcase a combination of both known and undiscovered talent. The label's first release is a 4 track ep, by Siamak Amidi, the creative director of Analog Room in Dubai, as well as a producer, dj and Volt music label boss. The EP reflects the producer's experience with the confluence of both analog and digital synthesis. The A side presenting newer material with the B side some of his older unreleased works. "Unconditional Love" a stripped down affair, deep, dynamic and ethereal without ever losing the focus on the groove with it's tight production. "Retro Floor Vison Aspect" takes us further into trippier post 5am territory, also stripped yet with enough going on to keep the senses tantalized, the standout hook to the bassline, swirling micro electronics with a variated jacking high hat, tried and tested. Siamak's "Tool" is a deep techy driving affair, with light haunting pads above and throughout track with original use of effects on the high end percussion. "You Think You Know It" is a rolling percussive track that comfortably rides the boundary between house and techno, with well defined low end and sweeping synth pads that once again demonstrates Amidi's abilities in the mix down to not swamp the track or dilute the groove. youANDme is a duo that has long been associated with the Berlin scene and quality house and techno. They have released on the likes of Cocoon and Desolat amongst others, and run their own Rotary Cocktail label, plus Polymorph and a few other mysterious outlets. Picking up props from big name players and at home remixing the likes of Seth Troxler and Lawrence, this pair has nearly a decade in the game behind them, and it shows in their accomplished sounds.

Opener 'PPPPP (Diva Mix)' is a truly compelling house track with an effortlessly groovy feel, disco fried stabs and smooth wood block hits that glide the thing along. It is party starting yet subtle, big yet clever and has some firing vocal samples to really set the track alight.

The just as essential Drunken Diva Mix is a rework that has playful drums dropping in and out, bigger stabs and more cut up energy thanks to lots of careful tweaks. It is freewheeling and charming and cannot fail to make you move. Lastly, an instrumental version is supplied for purely physical dance floor deployment, and is sure to be devastating.

Italo Business come back to wax. Here you can find slamming techno with chunky rhythms and Detroit techno feeling mixed up with some deep industrial sounds. If you are looking for rich synthesizer music with influences ranging from Old School to Warehouse Techno, this EP is definitively for you.

Moon Harbour's Orbiter series showcases label associates old and new, and now hits a third instalment in fine style with cuts from Sabb & Manu Gonzalez, Raw District, Re.You & Lazarusman and Hauswerks.

First out of the blocks are Sabb & Manu Gonzalez. The former is a Swiss producer and boss at SK Supreme and released on this label back in 2015. The latter is an Ibiza artist who has a show with Ibiza Global Radio and counts the likes of Luciano and Marco Carola as fans of his work. Together, their 'Daydream' track is a warm and rolling affair with a bubbling bassline that really gets you involved. The addition of some wailing diva vocals adds some dance floor intensity that makes this one a summer anthem in waiting.

Next is Raw District, a Belgian duo whose debut on Moon Harbour in 2016 showcase their edgy and stripped back style. Here they offer 'Shame', a deep, economical cut with crisp hits and an emotive and intense vocal line that really soars as synth ripples add colour.

Regular label associate Re.You then links with acclaimed South African vocalist Lazarusman for the absorbing 'YAWYA'. It's a woozy number with tumbling tribal percussion and trippy synths all complemented by the poignant vocals of Lazarusman, which are delivered with real conviction and will make for a standout moment in any set.

After releases on labels like Hot Creations and Material Series, Hauswerks then closes out the EP with no nonsense, upright house jam 'Let It Be'. It has slick, kinetic drums that coerce you into action and smooth synths that ooze classy party vibes.

Once again then, the latest instalment in the Orbiter series packs a real punch across four essential tracks.

Even with the first sounds, the organic structures can be heard - and felt. A crystalline crackling of the hi-hat very close to the ear, as if the black volcanic sand of Lanzarote would trickling on the metal. The echo of the samples does not point to endless distances, rather, it swings up the cochlea and enters into a special world in which sound material develops a delicate self-life.

It is the world of Denis Rodd, producer and label founder of Cochlea Music, who moved from the Canary Islands to Berlin. His first EP on Cochlea Music is Embryo. Everything stands at the beginning, also in the first track, 'Crisalida', Chrysalis in Spanish.

Benales opens the E.P. with Radiate, a track where you can clearly hear his influences of the American school of 90s minimal techno. Long time DJ but new on the production side, this is Benales' first effort on vinyl.

After his initial masterpiece on Knotweed Records (KW006) and a handful of releases on Demented (Hiss 1992) and Krill, Opuswerk is back on Knotweed with Displacement, a trippy, hard hitting, analogic techno attack: no concession on this one!

Gonzalo MD has already delivered the goods on both Knotweed (KW004 and KW011) and Decision Making Theory (DMT 006), as well as a fantastic EP recently on Extrasolar. Here, with Sharp Oscillation, he keeps developing his unique style, producing a highly percussive, almost samba-like, piece of techno.
Label owner Philippe Petit closes the E.P. with Indian Summer, a track moving along a warm bassline, bearing some recognisable krautrock influences.

Off welcomes Hybrasil, following up on his releases on labels like Intacto, Break New Soil and Kraftek.

The EP kicks off with "Kapteyne", a dubby bigroom roller.

ONNO takes things slightly deeper with his remix, adapting the track towards the earlier or later hours of the night.

Also "ED209" has an afterhours-ish feel to it with its spacy and dark atmosphere.

"Tau Ceti" rounds off the EP with a more melodic and emotional offering.

time Get Physical associate. Werk It features three more thrilling cuts which prove that, after more than a decade in the game, Thomas Koch is as exciting an artist as ever. The last two years have seen DJ T. put out a couple of great offerings on this label as well as an EP on Truesoul and some limited edition anniversary cuts on Strictly Rhythm. The occasional music writer and Groove Magazine founder has been busy in the booth, too, continuing to headline from Berlin to Russia and plot journeys through the history of house as he goes. Opening the account is the amped-up 'Werk It,' a poly-rhythmic tech cut that encourages you to loosen your limbs as drums, bass and tumbling percussion all jostle out a groove. Riffing vocals add fuel to the fire and clever bass kills add real dynamism. Then comes 'The Pressure', a rich house tune with drums that skip and skate along. Dry hits bring some funk, more well-treated, dehumanised vocals from Johannesburg based slam poet and DFTD and Diynamic associate Lazarusman add another layer to lock onto, while neon chord stabs ensure the whole thing will energise any dance floor. Last but not least, this fine trio of tunes ends with 'On and On', the most elastic of the lot. Big and icy hi hats bring a sense of height as rubbery drums bobble down low and build to a steamy peak before the pressure is released with a big vocal cry which cannot fail to get ravers punching the air. A real dance music historian, T. puts all his years of experience to great use in this latest and greatest release on Moon Harbour.

A big shout out to Terminal M novice Noir who delivers two tracks for Monika Kruse's imprint which can't be more different. 'Perservere' features HRRSN on the mic and is a straight festival techno banger while 'Lost & Broken' with singer Hendrik Burkhard (known for his tracks with Florian Kruse) might be the ideal sunrise sound. Cabala returns with it's 2nd installment courtesy of Rasna Luji, he delivers two original tracks from his new alta ego, Microhouse & House are the flavours of the EP and each track is accompanied by a remix , Jamie Lie A Kwie & Jamahr are in control for Rasna on this release.

Counter Pulse is proud to present the 'The Dish' EP which is the first collaboration of two of Australia's most passionate techno talents, Advanced Human & Trinity.

The duo have delivered two hard-edged dance-floor cuts for this release. First track 'The Dish' is a hypnotic banger with a raw warehouse energy anchored by no-nonsense 4/4 drums. The 2nd track 'Splinter' locks you into a groove with minimal industrial textures and dark dub-focused stabs.

This EP also includes impressive remixes by scene stalwarts Headless Horseman and Mary Velo.

Headless Horseman contributed an explosive remix of 'The Dish' which takes us down a sinister wormhole with the dance floor in mind. Headless Horseman is known for making raw and abrasive dark techno and is one of the most talked-about techno artists of recent years. Having predominately on his own label, we are very fortunate to have this very rare remix from him on the EP.

The Toronto-born, Berlin-based artist Mary Velo is no stranger to the Elektrax family making her 12'-debut on Gynoid Audio with her 'Master Mind' EP. She has also released music on esteemed labels such as Semantica and Diffuse Reality and also performs in highly respected clubs such as Berghain and Tresor. Mary's stripped back version of 'Splinter' takes the track in a deeper direction, a slow burner laced with flowing atmospherics and melodic overtones.

Having been staples of his DJ sets over the past few months Morning fnally sees release on Redlight Music. Berlin-based label boss Denite delivers 2 tech-house killers alongside 1 remix from Italian duoNICe7 and 1 special edit.
Title-track Morning opens up proceedings Redlight Music's 46th release. The catchy and groovy tech house bomb sees a cheeky keyboard melody drive the track forward with groovy percussions, vocal samples and a strong bass line following in tow.
Second original track Sundance sees Denite go on a deeper house trip. Energetic percussion work grooves alongside a deep, electric bass while horns round off the edges of the track. Next up is Italian tag-team NICe7 (Noir Music / D-Floor) who remix Sundance. The duo offer up their acid-house vision of the original track with an evolving acid-soaked bass loop and shuffing drums.
The MEED Edit of Morning closes the record. Recorded live and on the spot by Denite during his performance at MEED Festival in Elche (Spain), we hear Denite deconstructing the track with a slowed-down beat and slurring keyboards. The essence of the original track is kept well and alive, but covered in a lightly
spaced-out electronica veil. Morning is set for a digital and vinyl release March 19th on Redlight Music.

Detour EP is the result after a year of intense studio time and experimentation of a new set up. In these last 12 months there was a slight shift in Pitral's productions, with new hardware providing more edginess and raw acidic techno sounds.

This 12 inch is the result of that new musical signature. 'Detour' original is focused on a strong acid baseline with simultaneously overflowing tune. Voices from 'from the depth of the soul' with 'deep and hard' kicks make for a raw, melodramatic track.

'Meatsuit' builds up steadily, with a mid high rolling kick, lifting up towards off tune strings and a hypnotic leads. In this track Derek develops soundscapes full of dynamics and depths.

On the flipside, Björn Torwellen has remixed 'Detour' and Leghau remixes the second track 'Meatsuit'.

Our next release belongs to French artist and Illegal Alien member, DJ Saint Pierre.
Walk Under Water is the name of his new work and includes two big remixes by Endlec

It's the third album on our label and this time we grabbed on the other side of the ocean! The mexican techno native Israel Toledo, who lives these days in Germany, is the man of now and gives us full-on electricity with - 9 Volts . Being effective with less is the formula which works definitely the most. So let's have a short view on Israel: the fundament of his works were done by launching his own techno imprint Assasin Soldier Recordings in 2005 and releasing since more than one decade. Featuring lots of the mexicans underground music producers has gained a proper standing in many of the heavy-weight-players record cases.

The simplicity of the track names reflects the saying that techno music doesn't need any words to communicate, so here we go with V1 (Volt 1) to V8. All tracks are designed by analogue machines and literally - made of steel , therefore it's reasonably pressed on wax. The central themes are spheres and chords in various moods on pounding beats.

The start is something for the epic moments. V1 floats and flies on a sweet-sounding sphere, holds a warm appearance and can be called a real anthem. In the forthcoming tracks, he draws more dusky worlds and builds industrialized shapes and landscapes with rough chords. He varies with tensions in V2 and V3, soaring rhythms for V4 or creaking basses in V5 with timeless synth hooks, as well as a deep and dubby flavour for V6. Number 7 is definitely a peaktime ruler and the last one V8 for the atmosphere in the morning hours.

On top and that's why it's all about 9 Volts, label master Dominik Vaillant will release digitally the ninth piece of this album - it's a remix of V1!

It's time to invite some New Kids' onto the block as Jammhot come very correct with a 4 tracker of what can only be described as Lush' House Music. The EP is a collection of deep, swinging analogue grooves with both feet firmly planted in the Real House Music' sound.

The production duo who are split between both Leeds and London and currently hold a residency with Ape X in Newcastle have previously released on labels like Dirtcrew, Leftroom and fellow rEJEKT favorite Jamie Trench's Root For Bloom imprint.

Und genau darum dreht sich auch Verbalizer, das nun erscheinende Album von Anthony Rother, auf seinem neuen Label Nextdata.

Der Club als abstrakter Raum. Es geht um das Loslassen. Menschen machen sich frei, begegnen einander
und die Musik wird zum gemeinsamen Taktgeber.

Irgendwann nennt Rother diesen Prozess - die Dramaturgie der Ekstase', kann sich dabei aber das Grinsen
nicht verkneifen. - Die Leute sollen mit Verbalizer einfach ihren Spaß haben. Ich stand im Club und fühlte
plötzlich den Sound für dieses Album.

Verbalizer treibt im Raum nach vorn, ohne ins Intellektuelle abzugleiten. Es ist die Geschichte, der Augenblick und das anbrechende Abenteuer einer tanzenden Gesellschaft, irgendwo auf dieser Welt.
- Ich war auf der Suche nach einem expandierenden Klang. Dabei war wichtig, wie ich diesen Sound den Synthesizern in meinem Studio entlocke, so dass dabei eine Kraft entsteht, die alles Weltliche und den Alltag beiseite zu drücken vermag', erklärt Rother den hedonistischen Ansatz von Verbalizer.

Club-Tracks wie diese kommen ihrem Wesen nach ohne erzählerische Inhalte aus. Dennoch sorgen sie

Next up on the gold standard tech house imprint that is Roush, comes label boss himself, Hector Couto. On the Parental Advisory EP, the influential Spaniard has readied four cuts of to-the-point club music that cannot fail to make its mark.

Hector is one of the most respected artists around with a truly global allure for his brand of house music. He has released on labels such as Defected, Moon Harbour, Hot Creations and Get Physical and is no stranger to the finest DJ booths in the world, from Ministry of Sound to Amnesia Ibiza. As such any new music from him warrants deserved excitement.

Proving that once more is excellent opener 'Like This,' a wobbly tech house tune that is full of electronic funk. It has great vocals, swollen bass and siren like synths that really get under your skin and demand you dance. Title track 'Parental Advisory' is a real party starter with wild vocals and jittery drums. Off kilter synth stabs and fat bass all make it a hugely fun and characterful tune that is sure to stand out in any set.

Moving on to the essential 'Old Roots', this one comes laden with retro breakbeats and a dusty sense of groove. Air horns and crisp hi hats all get stitched into the loopy groove and pull you deeper and deeper in with each rotation. Lastly, 'Bubble Gum' comes with a snaking bassline that is tough and rugged. Classic 909 pops and clicks pepper the groove, as do plenty of sweet vocal samples and the result is one hell of a tech tune that sounds like little else.

This is another masterclass in effective, emotive dance music and marks another fine release for both label and artist. The vinyl elease will be accompanied by a digital version featuring an exclusive remix from Sante.

Norse Projekt brings Muninn back for release 004 with his EP called Fornjot, some more minimalistic analogue warmths accompanied by a remix from Fuse resident Rich NxT who adds some lively acidic tones to the track Jarnsaxa.

We are happy to introduce our Second Vinyl - Excuse Fear EP. This time it's gonna be solo EP by really talented musician from Spain - EQUAL aka Dakpa.

Marc Leclair aka Akufen, has long been considered one of electronic music's most fascinating producers. An early pioneer of the so-called 'microhouse' sound, he's perhaps best known for his work on Perlon and aside from Akufen, his Horror Inc. alias. French imprint A-TRACTION Records returns with a new EP from Marst late June, featuring two original compositions and one remix from Moteka.

Marst has been releasing music since 2012 via the likes of Kevin Saunderson's KMS Records, John Digweed's Bedrock and French Techno imprint A-TRACTION Records. Here we see Marst return to the latter with an exciting new project further showcasing his melodious, deep techno style which has seen heavy support from French electronic music pioneer Laurent Garnier since his humble beginnings.

Up first is title track 'Nanga' which sees Marst blend square wave arpeggios and an amalgamation of delayed staccato synth stabs with weighty rhythms and sporadic organic percussive rolls. The 'Vocal Mix' of 'Future' follows and embraces a deeper aesthetic via elongated sub drones, tuttering bass hits and snaking resonant lead hook, whilst psychedelic vocal murmurs further fuel its heady vibe.

Fellow Frenchman Moteka (Flash Recordings / Children Of Tomorrow) then turns in his first interpretation next with 'Remix 21' taking a more robust approach with pounding drums, murky atmospheric sweeps and vacillating synth chimes which ebb and flow throughout the groove. Digital Traffik is back with its third release of 2016. This last vinyl of this year is completing the serie dedicated of the "10 years label birthday " celebration. Also on this Ep four new artists are on board : Marco Effe, Alexandar Ivkovic, Neverdogs and CLiVe. 'Weird Tales' is the Marco Effe track, an incredible artist of Digital Traffik family and founder of his own "Impress" party on Watergate Berlin. Kick and bass lines are big, the melodies are infectious and techno just keeps on giving... simply amazing! Alexandar Ivkovic presents 'NBDG' : in this track merge is signature techno-detroit sound into something that still contains stacks of class and character.
