London based label 4Plae Records launch their first vinyl release featuring remixes from Seb Zito, Dubphone, F.eht and Porque. It has been a long time coming. With digital releases being distributed from the start of 2015, 4Plae have built a reputation and sound which is organic and unique and sits firmly in the underground scene.

The original track 'Lomatic' by ADMNTi featured on Vandalism Musique at the start of the year. Close friends of the label F.eht (SAMANI) and Porque got involved with some remixes shortly after the release came out, and Seb Zito and Dubphone have also worked on the track, giving it their own vibe.

- Seb Zito's remix is full of energy, and we expect nothing less from the UK producer. His music has spread across the world in past years, and his heavy involvement in London label FUSE has created a huge buzz in the city, especially with FUSE parties on Sundays at 93 Feet East and now Village Underground.

- F.eht hasn't stopped progressing in the last couple of years too, along with his label Samani. His take on 'Lomatic' is deeper and moodier. Dubby textures can be heard throughout the track that keeps on rolling through the night...

- Romanian producer and founder of Vandalism Musique - Dubphone - has also contributed to the remix VA. His remix meets somewhere in the middle of the others, offering a lot of energy, and some darker textures. We feel that this remix, much like his edit of Moodymann's 'Hangover', will be heard at events in Ibiza this summer, as well as other parties in Romania, Spain and anywhere else that offers good weather, good people and good vibes.

- Porque has been a great inspiration to 4Plae, as both a producer/DJ and a friend and his release on 4Plae went down a storm at the start of the year. His remix - much like F.eht's - has more of a dubby sound to it. The remix is stripped back and includes some added vocals which fit the sound perfectly.

This time Krad makes a bet and they play it big, Aney F. one of the popular names of the deep tech scene, brings two originals with his constant groove, wicked voices and deep really deep basses. And as if that where not enough we got two remixes, one from Hernan Bass & Unluck, they give a twist and show a deep and exquisite version, and another remix from Rub a Dub a minimal version with crazy textures.

A year after he made his debut on Moon Harbour alongside wAFF, Spanish house force Cuartero is
back with a firing new EP featuring three tracks full of heavyweight dancefloor dynamite.

Cuartero has only been producing since 2011, but in just a few short years he has established
himself as a global player in the house world. His DJ sets are compelling things full of dynamic
grooves, and his bulky, robust productions are just as stand out. They come on labels like Desolat,
Hot Creations and Knee Deep In Sound, and always make any floor a sweaty, intense place full of
free-moving bodies.

Opening up this EP is 'Shadow', which has an immediate impact with its big rubber kicks and fat
bassline. Dark wordless vocals add a sense of late night naughtiness as crisp perc cuts through the
murky bass. A real foot stomper that manages to be deep yet physical, some soul infused synths
really finish it off in style.

Next up is the quicker cut that is 'Elevator.' This one has scraping hits and claps and a deep down,
woody kick drum that gets run through with irresistibly loopy bass. More wordless vocals, this time
from a lady, add to the atmosphere and are sure to get fists pumping and feet stomping.

Closing out a faultless EP of dance floor baiting club sounds is 'Been So Long', a turbocharged tech
cut with rich bass, lively hits and drum fills and bleepy melodies that will send any club into a frenzy.
Building to a tense peak then boiling over in style, this is a full fat track (and EP overall) that proves
Cuartero really knows how to make his sounds jump out of the speakers.

Incolor stepping up next with his rarefied and subliminal sound, for your ears and leisure. We bring to your attention a two sided 12" full of identity and personalised rhythms, celestial sounds and smooth bassline. The name "7am" is self-explanatory in some way, the name = the time = the mood = the direction for the traveller. The synths will take you to the outer space and back, leaving that feeling of completed experience. Going to the other side of this record, understanding that what u heard before was only the prologue for this next path of sound. Absolutely alien-ish vibrations. A favorite amongst artists such as Barac, Arapu and Franco Cinelli to name a few, Agustin Martin aka Nektar Agu born in 1992 is a native of the province of Buenos Aires, Argentina.

He began his career as a musician in 2008 inspired mostly by the underground scene of countries like Romania, Russia and Germany. This development led to the culmination various influences that helped shape his sound.

Due to it's 10th anniversary, Kittball Records presents a limited white vinyl series throughout the year 2015, as a special edition in four parts reflecting its most successful tracks within the past quarters. Istanbul based 'Roit' drop their latest EP 'Music Sounds Good', a split work featuring the label head Ave Astra and Ireland's up and coming talent Embezzlement Society.

Roit's manifest declares that the Turkish record label looks out to Detroit with respect. Their sound goes way beyond the borders of the Motor City, mixing UK friendly grooves with Paradise Garage's Disco Edits and with something that sounds like a mix of Gene Hunt and Enzo Siragusa.. Their innovative and multicultural approach to dance music is perfectly showcased by this latest EP 'Music Sounds Good' which features 2 artists pretty active on different fronts. On one side there is Roit's head Ave Astra, who is soon to be releasing on Moscoman's Disco Halal and on the other there is Banoffee Pie Records contributor Embezzlement Society.

Ave Astra's title track is a powerful proper Disco cut: club friendly, hands in the air. A2 is a more stomping but still uplifting House cut, NYC garage inspired rhythmical parts, in your face kick, melodic pads a pure dance floor banger. This October sees Jay Lumen drop a new album, appropriately titled 'Lost Tales', via his Footwork
imprint comprised of a medley of productions he's been road testing over this year.

My 'Lost Tales' album is a special collection of unique tracks that I've never released before - tales that were never told. Most of the tracks had been dreamed up previously but never physically written. Some of them may have been started and tested but then stayed in an unfinished phase, never reaching their final form. The new Complexx Music Label is founded by Good Vibes Club - Head Alex Dior and Techno-Legend André Walter (Stigmata) and comes up with a massive Techno-House Trilogy from the production duo. Japanese Afternoonm is a 3 track EP could very well form a genre of their own. "Disco Geisha" and "Atomic Dance", combined with a special form of modern house & oldskool disco elements , are their special form of massive dancefloor anthems. "Japanese Afternoon" is dark, atmospheric and a rolling dancefloor killer !!

The Square and Compasses (or, more correctly, a square and a set of compasses joined together) is the single most identifiable symbol of Freemasonry. Both the square and compasses are architect's tools and are used in Masonic ritual as emblems to teach symbolic lessons. Some Lodges and rituals explain these symbols as lessons in conduct: for example, Duncan's Masonic Monitor of 1866 explains them as: "The square, to square our actions, The compasses, to circumscribe and keep us within bounds with all mankind". However, as Freemasonry is non-dogmatic, there is no general interpretation for these symbols (or any Masonic symbol) that is used by Freemasonry as a whole.

Fabian Winkels and Ben Balance's Ho Do Ri project has been responsible for some of the best minimal house workouts of the last two years. Hopes are naturally high, then, for this first appearance on Mariano Mateljan's Split-based u.dig imprint. Happily, they hit the ground running with A-side "Fu Giunta 007", where fluttering, dream house style synth melodies and becalmed ambient chords wind their way around a chunky, bass-heavy tech-house groove rich in bustling bass and outer-space electronics. Their minimal instincts come further to the fore on heads-down flipside "Flood Shella", which peppers a hypnotic, locked-on groove with Villalobos style electronics and mind-altering electronic effects.

Welsh producer Kye has been producing for some time now, and has built a solid reputation for himself through playing out and running Dogruff with a group of likeminded friends - which has seen the likes of Barac, Rossko, Praslea and many other selectors work the crowd.

'Hopscotch Days EP' is both Kye's debut solo release, as well as being the first time his music has featured on wax - and features remixes from Rowlanz (RLZ Music) and IULY.B (Infuse/Visionquest).

After serving up some killer original tracks from Obrotka, Abstract Music now enlists the services
of Nikola Gala and Jay Bliss to rework one of the standout cuts. The results, invariably, are
excellent.

Obotka has been active since the 90s, has played almost every decent club in the world and
because of his excellent discography taking in labels like Underground Records, Abstract Music
and Wasabi is a revered part of the global dance community.

First to remix his 'Who Needs Enemies' cut is Romanian 2020 Vision and All Inn records
associate Jay Bliss. He flips the track into a deep, rubbery house groover with muted neon
chords & crisp percussion. It's a no nonsense affair with infectious and icy hi hats that really get
under your skin.

Next up, Nikola Gala is a prolific producer whose impeccably produced tracks have become big
releases for Ibadan Records, Rekids, Freerange Records and Plastic City. He serves up two
remixes, the first of which is a Dubby Mix of 'Who Needs Enemies.' Stripping things back to an
essential, locked on groove, hunched drums, rolling hits and frazzled synth lines all make for a
seductive track that is warm and organic in all the right ways.

Finally, Gala turns out a Techy Mix of the same track that is much quicker, more urgent and
banging. Metallic chords, grinding bass and indecipherable vocal cries all characterise this more
physical version and it will bang in clubs as a result.

All three remixes here offer something slightly different, but something equally essential, for all
the real DJs out there.

Romanian up-and-comer Cosmjn (Cosmin Nastasa) with his latest Organik EP, is scheduled next at Naural Label .

Side A starts with Aster Ix, a track with simple percussion and a hard, yet smooth, bassline. The continuous pad and the occasionally sparky chords make 'Aster Ix' the perfect combination for an 8-minute track designed to keep you up. This 12-minute vinyl flaunts on the same side 'Twisted', which takes the darker side of the producer one step further. The dark track, 'Twisted', boldly surprises you with the trippy sequences of its repetitive vocals.

Side B is represented by the most complex track of the EP: 'Organik'"- a track playing with a natural groove as well as acoustic-based elements. It's a 15-minute journey with spacey and atmospheric-drone sounds that takes you far away while listening.

Finefood records and Benjamin Fehr are doing it again! One of the most talented producers of our time, teams up with the Swiss label in true techno tradition. This tightly controlled production is purposely built to enhance the dance floor with masterful, artful soundscaping. A tech hit if ever there was one. The first remix is produced by the talented Argentine artist Hernan Bass for the Swiss label, Finefood Records, he has done an amazing job. After stripping the track down to it's bare essentials, he kept the underlying tones and transformed the track into a more percussive melodic track, which any self respecting Dj would love to play. German mix-master Benjamin Fehr partners up with Alien Visa for this 7th production on Swiss label Finefood records. Growling and menacing, this duo reveal a dark side to the dance floor which can drive any electronic music enthusiast into fervor. Saccaded baselines reveal their talent. Thomas T and Anish are back again, collaborating with their favourite Swiss record label in this translation of Benjamin Fehr's Alien Visa original track remix. Nothing is lost in this translation, on the contrary, a 3rd dimension is added, transforming this track into true techno, spoken by all.

The third release on this imprint is an EP from a fresh talent from Bucharest called Lixir. The EP starts with ''Sunshine'' which is a melodic track, nice soundtrack to the after. It then continues with ''Fleut en Scarlett'' referring to both the flute in the track and the soundcard used during the production of the track. The B side starts with a nice counterpart to the light tracks on the A side in the form of the more heavy and straighforward ''Cleptoman''. To top off the release COSMJN made quite a spheric and spacey remix of ''Cleptoman''. NIMMA003 is played by Barac and Suciu.

Nandu returns with full force on OFF Recordings with Glömde, a high strung melodic techno cut consisting of one original track and two revamps.

Rolling into a broad groove from the get-go, Glömde is a tightly knit Tech House banger that brings together firm percussion and melodic synth thrusts. Singer Tyra's delicate vocals, at times whispered, add an extra layer of harmonies, making the track even more compact and entrancing.

Netherlander techno craftsman Love Over Entropy delivers a spellbinding remix, stripping down most of the original elements and reverting the focus onto the percussive backbone. Seemingly straightforward, LOE reconstructs the initial groove, rebuilding it up with industrial details and a raw,
ample sound esthetic.

An artisan of deep house reworks, Manoo explores Glömde's house appeal. Kicking off with a tribal percussion lead that stays centered throughout the cut, Manoo's remix brings out the track's versatility and plays on its spaciousness.

House hit makers MOTHER RECORDINGS are back with another tight two track package. This one comes from the label boss NHAN SOLO, a real house talent with plenty of great singles and EPs in his back catalogue, most often on his own great label.

Opening the release is SHOW ME LOVE, a deep and groovy number with nice piano chords rolling over slick house groove. Power female vocal add fuel and emotion to the fire and the whole thing really casts a spell on you.

BROTHERS KEEPERS is on the flip and is another kicking house tune with sleek metallic drums, great percussive tension with smart kills and filters, and clipped vocals that inject real warmth and soul. Both cuts carry on in this Berlin based producer's fine tradition and are sure to get plenty of dance floors on their toes in the coming months.

miNIMMAl movement continues the Romanian vibes on it's fourth release with two solid tracks from Oprea Timpu on the A side. On the B side there is a spaced out remix from the Dutch Roger Gerressen who's from the same city as the label itsself.

Having sprinkled her magic on 'Herbert's Finest 06' earlier this year, one of techno's most distinctive vibe evangelists returns to the Monaberry family fold for her first full label release: Bebetta.

Monabetta: it's the perfect match... Like Monaberry's output, Bebetta's joyous unpredictability ensures a blindfold ride into sensory abandon with not so much as a whiff of preconceptions, formula or rigidity.

'Uppercut' is less of a punch and more a slo-mo disco karate chop where stars and rainbows appear on impact. The uncompromised kicks and thwacking eight-bar snare snap your senses while the pensive one note riff, bulbous bass and cosmic synth weaves gradually climax into a Detroitian piano-smashing riff so evocative you could just lose your shoes.

'Shimmy' brings to mind oceanic ripples, which swell progressively and a timeless arpeggio, which ebbs, flows and occasionally bursts into full bodied bass before breaking out into an illustrious build where ghostly vocals mirror the sea's glimmers in an agelessly classic way.

Remix-wise Monabetta is packing equally serious heat: Viktor Talking Machine play the quintessential Street Fighters with an 'Uppercut' version that pummels with a juicy 808 and a short sharp break into the heavenly piano hook. German Brigante flips the switch on 'Shimmy', too, twisting our focus on the creepy crawly bass and pure epicity of the chords. Finally Lowertones bossman Leix adds a softer focus to 'Uppercut's emotional narrative and more of a jacking swing to the drums for a shorter, subtler journey.

Following 2014's 'XURE' EP, Dutch producer Doka returns to FORMAT with a fresh four-track release including a remix by fellow techno luminaries TWR72.Carved out of no-nonsense techno grooves, the EP is another prima example of FORMAT's trademark: bold, stripped-down techno designed for peak-time clubbing moments. The title track blends in classic Detroit synths to powerful Tresor-style grooves, after which TWR72 give it a playfully experimental makeover. 'Lommer' throws in a pitch-black cut that's heavy on the bass while cleverly mixing in progressive house elements, while 'Dam' closes things by adding a lovely hypnotic twist to this release's content.
There's no denying: this eighth FORMAT release has all the ingredients to ignite some serious floor carnage...

Out with their third EP of 2016, this August Monkey Safari will release 'Boris,' with remixes by Guy Mantzur and Victor Ruiz, showing the world once again that these guys aren't messing around. 'Boris' is the follow up to their successful mega-EP, 'Bernstein,' released in June, with remixes by John Digweed & Nick Muir and UNER. Their next four-track EP shows the brothers' more serious, grownup side, taking new risks with no vocals, utilizing empty spaces and slower buildups. For his debut on the italian label, he produced an album industrial / rhythmic noise, a tribute to some legends of noise music such as: Marco Corbelli (Atrax Morgue), Maurizio Bianchi, Tairy Ceron (Today I'm dead), Rozz Williams.
This album is an evocation to sacrality and mysterious fascination of death. The artist radicalizes his sound in this release, getting the result: "a strong work, dark, dirty, it smells death and filth" (Le Moderniste)
This special edition provides a particular package composed of two bags stapled with inside: transparent cassette c60 pro-dubbed, artworks (by Paul van Trigt), hand-sewn insert, black nitrile gloves.

Coming up next on FORMAT is a new EP from the label's head honcho Juan Sanchez including remixes by Jeroen Search and Andre Kronert. The Diffy EP marks Juan's first FORMAT EP released under his own name, and it's definitely one that will turn heads on the floor. The original version of 'Diffy' and 'Mirage' reflect Juan's trademarked minimal but hard-as-nails techno sound: staccato kicks, nervously rattling percussions and looped synth pulses make up the fundaments of both tracks, locking in all ingredients for proper techno clubbing.Up first on the remix tip is renowned techno veteran Jeroen Search, whose remix of 'Diffy' is a chunky piece of stripped floor funk with subtle hints of Detroit techno.
