Self-sabotage can be a devious and deadly mechanism of the mind that creates obstacles on the path to one's goals. To tackle the problem, one needs to have a clear understanding and awareness of the causes, costs and the negative consequences it can bring; overcoming this process leads us to evolve towards new limits and boundaries.

DJ Koze might be one of the world's best producers, but above all he's a DJ, and it's his DJ ear that governs. J
ust as in a great set, so with his releases: 'Seeing Aliens' came out of nowhere, a big buzzing beast of a track, to announce that Koze was back on the scene and prime everyone for the coming album, knock knock.
But now that Koze has your attention, it's time to remind everyone what's most important about club music, pull things back, take a turn to the left, and get deep into the groove.
Thus 'Pick Up': the second single from knock knock is 100% pure groove, doubly so in the extended 12' version.
In a sense it's incredibly familiar - it is essentially a filter disco record, very close to something you could imagine coming out of Paris around the turn of the millennium. But of course, this is Koze. Nothing is normal or familiar in his world, and he's taken this most foundational of clubland staples into new territory. Flipping amples of Gladys Knight & the Pips 'Neither One Of Us (Wants to Be the First to Say Goodbye)' and Melba Moore's 'Pick Me Up, I'll Dance', it creates something completely airborne, shot through with emotions such as gods must feel: not quite explicable to the human mind but strong enough to knock you off your feet. In its way it's absolutely as powerful as 'Seeing Aliens', but it comes in like the proverbial iron fist in a glove of velvet.
The flip, a ten-minute new track, 'The Love Truck' is a big contrast again. If 'Pick Up' is giddy flight,
'The Love Truck' is woozy floating. Its sharp, clicking percussion recalls 2000s minimal techno, but this time absolutely nothing is generic. The long, intense, on-and-off bass tones, the flickers of birdsong, the pure voices slipping in backwards as if from the future... it's all like the most blissful dream, and culminates in a coda so subtle yet so beautiful it's like ever time you've ever seen the sun rise and thought 'I never want this to end', all the while understanding deep down that the fleeting nature of the pleasure is also what give it its power. But of course, being created with that consummate DJ's ear, it's also full of the thrill of wondering what Koze has in store next.

After his highly publicized breakup with Taylor Swift at LA’s Viper Room ,Iain Howie returned to Vancouver.
Taylor released “Bad Blonde Boy”, a breakup song about Iain and Iain quickly rebutted with “ Patterns” about Taylor.
He began working on his solo album and got a remix of Patterns by his shady neighbour “Jay Tripwire”. Partly because of the fact Taylor could never stand Tripwire.
Over the course of a year Tripwire churned out 10 different remixes for an alternative vinyl only release. Jay would have his friend Anton play various remixes from his hot dog cart in Bucharest.
One early morning it caught the ear from Cally. Cally had only intended to buy a foot long Frankenfurter after Guesthouse, but he was so captivated, that he asked Anton for a cassette tape of the song. Most Romanian DJs often look to Anton’s hot dog cart to find obscure unreleased gems.
Cally began his closed door ritual of compiling songs for closing Sunwaves that year. When getting his tea leaves read, his spirit guide advised him on using “Patterns” as the closing song to the festival.
Whether it was the come down from drugs or low serotonin, SW attendees could be seen crying on the dance floor during the song.
The tears were then collected and drank by Raresh

A mastermind when it comes to crafting quality electronic music across the house spectrum, expressing various shades of his vision, French DJ/producer Traumer has solidified himself as one of the country’s finest exports while his alias has become a home for heavily sought-after minimal-leaning house productions that journey through expansive textures and trademark percussion. After combining with Romanian favourite Cristi Cons early last year as part of the imprint’s collaborative ‘X Series’ and following a series of releases on his own gettraum label, the Parisian makes a highly-anticipated solo return to Enzo Siragusa’s FUSE as he unveils his latest four-track offering in the form of his ‘Nectar’ EP. The title track ‘Nectar’ heads up the package and brings a blend of snappy drum grooves and zippy synths beneath hooky female vocals as it builds into a rolling anthem, while ‘Lamerci’ gets dubby with crisp percussion shots guiding hazy stabs and deep grooves. Collecting Orders For 2025 Repress
Trelik returns with a repackaged edition of one of the catalogue's most treasured releases. "Overcome" and "Lady Science (NYC Sunrise)" need little introduction, and now come sporting the new TR11:11 matrix number. Written and produced by Thomas Melchior and Baby Ford aka Soul Capsule. These tracks came from one of the many sessions recorded at the West London Ifach Studio in 1999. On the A Side "Overcome" is stripped back and energetic, driven by rolling and shuffling garage style beats, tight bubbling bass and atmospheric synth pads. The intermittent vocal samples and the release's signature organ set you up for the flip, "Lady Science (NYC Sunrise)". Possibly one of house music's most emotive pieces, the track builds slowly with the introduction of each part building a story of soulful optimism based around a sparse palette of deep synths, uplifting keys and warm analogue bass. The understated beauty of the main vocal riff never seems to grow old or tired with the track lending itself perfectly to either main room, peak-time play or after-hours sessions alike. This is the first 12“ of the new Move D - “Recurrent Recollections“ series. “Something ’Bout The D“ is featuring three previously released tracks, that only ever appeared on Various Artists compilations on different record labels - from Fred P’s Earth Tones Vol. 1, via Russ Gabriel’s Ferox label to Lowtec’s Out to Lunch imprint. Now for the first time on Source Records, this 12“ kicks off with Aspiration 2010, a subtle and slow building Deep Acid House track evolving across the entire side A. On the B-side the title track “Something ’Bout The D“ takes the vibe back to 90s oldschool Detroit inspired house music - spiced with some 909 euphoria, some uplifting chords and a technoid, abstract but soothing melody. Closing out the 12“ on B2 is the much beloved and hard to find Move D contribution to Out To Lunch’s “Airbag Craftworks Vol. 2“ compilation “Marshmellow Boots“. A hypnotic and bouncing hookline is transformed over surrounding synth stabs and dubs. A subdued fluffy little groover in a typical Move D trademark fashion.

Collecting Orders For 2026 Repress
It's reissue time for one of the most in demand records from the Trelik catalogue, featuring Baby Ford and Thomas Melchior under their Sunpeople alias. The flip side's opening track 'Check Your Buddah' is probably the best known of the four tracks here, with its spacious echoes, mantra-like voices and heads down beats, but there's plenty to be said for the other three. 'Lovers Eyes' is an equally dubby techno affair, but pinned down by sturdy, infectious beats, 'Sungods Wedding' is blessed with churning, warm bass action and just a smidge of cowbell and 'Make It Right' is properly hypnotic 3am gear that's a dream to mix and draws in the listener with its imperceptible builds and three note bleep magic. Worship the Sun!

A fourth vinyl arrives from Seattle/LA label Rhizome Records. The catalog returns to South America with 2 original productions from Gustavo Fridman of Buenos Aires, Argentina. An impressive up & coming DJ & producer, Gustavo Fridman has already released on underground labels Sous-Vide, Welter, and Tip Tap. Alongside the spacey originals, Romanian maestros Sublee and Ritmico (Emi & Suciu) offer expanded interpretations.
The title track “Dios Habla Hoy” kicks off the ep with cutting edge minimal percussion work and breezy atmospherics partnered with a celestial yet melancholy melody. The techy breakbeat and meandering effects deliver a nostalgic sound reminiscent of Cadenza classics.
Sublee’s remix of “Dios Habla Hoy” deconstructs and resynthesizes the original into a cosmic journey. While tones and texture remain, Sublee adds a massive groove to drive his trancy reinterpretation. Here is the second release on Silvi, "Aya EP" by Head Honcho Roy Brizman. This time, he presents three of his productions, skillfully blending emotion and rhythm.

Darren Roach’s debut album lands on Limo! With its sights set squarely on the dancefloor, ‘Low Ranger’ may seem to have come out of nowhere, but to those who have been paying attention, his music has never stopped making an impact. Roach boasts a catalog of releases that begins in the ‘90s, and a few of these long-lost pearls resurface here, freshly mastered and ready to go.

This EP is inspired by love and dreams and continues her quest to find the perfect blend of emotional yet minimal melodic beats. Opener 'L'Amour' radiates Lazic's signature sounds with a slick bassline and melodic chords that convey meaningful emotions under female spoken words. It's a seductive world of warm pads and silky beats that cast a hypnotic spell. The fantastic 'Todo El Universo' features the vocals of Lazic's Spanish friend Monica. The title translates as 'all the universe' and is a favourite line from Paulo Coelho's novel The Alchemist about accomplishing your dreams. It's a deep and comforting groove with soft drums and pillowy pads that soothe the soul and are perfect for more intimate dance floors.
Remixer Nu Eau is a pivotal part of Romania's minimal scene with a meticulously crafted sound that has taken him to the likes of Gettraum and Memoria Recordings and he also co-founded the Uvar imprint. His version of ‘L'Amour' is more up tempo but no less heady, with lush cosmic synths doing an elegant dance over the compelling beats.
Spanish pair Los Suruba have done it all over the last 20 years - released hundreds of tracks, played thousands of gigs, established their own network of record labels, held residencies everywhere from Ibiza to London and crafted countless underground hits. Their remix of ‘L'Amour' is serene and cerebral with paranoid voices drifting through the mix and rippling chords keeping you afloat in the cosmos.

Norwegian talent Meera makes her Crosstown Rebelsdebut with the atmospheric ‘Stikk’. Landing on 30th August, the EP sees the young artist flex her production prowess with remixes from Dennis Cruz and Tripolism.
Riding the success of her debut single ‘Music For Humans’ in 2023, Norway’s Meera was swiftly recruited by Damian Lazarus, joining him at his Hï Ibiza residency before heading to Rebellion for the release of the resonant ‘Teflon’. The sought-after artist has shown no signs of slowing, releasing a series of remixes this year amongst European shows, festival appearances, and Ibiza
pit stops. Continuing this momentum, she now makes her label debut on Lazarus’ renowned Crosstown Rebels with ‘Stikk’, with imprint regular Dennis Cruz joining on remix duties alongside melodic Danish trio and former collaborators Tripolism, who also make their first outing on Crosstown.
Landing in realms of afro-house, Meera’s production is cool, confident, and creative. With eclectic influences audible throughout her standout sound, her ‘Stikk’ EP proves why she first garnered the attention of artists such as Jimi Jules and John Digweed. The title track leads with minimal climbing percussion, introspective piano melodies and delicate, dreamlike vocals. In contrast, Tripolism’s remix turns up the intensity to a biting crescendo, adding sharp synths for a more dancefloor-focused feeling. ‘Sykkelkurv’ reaches for higher planes of emotion with its atmospheric soundscape, moody chords and driving drums, toeing the line between light and dark. Next, Dennis Cruz’s interpretation drives the track off the line and into deeper rhythms with chunky low-ends, picking up the pace for peak time. Digital purchasers are treated to a bonus track titled ‘Stikk Reprise’, a pulsating trip back into the lead single, with a heightened focus on the song's hypnotic vocals and raw emotive energy.

Dan Ghenacia's influence on the European underground over the last 25-plus years cannot be overstated. He has run vital labels, hosted essential parties, laid down definitive DJ sets, and produced seminal sounds both solo and as part of the tastemaking Apollonia trio with friends Shonky and Dyed Soundorom. His understanding of house music across the ages and continents is second to none, and he brings all that experience to this fantastic new solo EP.
The bumpy and infectious 'Rouge Ou Noir' opens with looped and funky guitar riffs and neon synths winding their way through dusty, dynamic drums. Cooing vocal stabs ramp up the steaminess of this most tasteful party starter. The superb 'Chilly' has a bustling blend of louche rhythms and rugged synth arps that dart about the mix. They hurry along beneath swirling vocal sounds up top with hints of Metro Area magic and tripped-out colours, all making it a characterful groove. Last but not least, 'Chilly' gets dubbed out and becomes a more low-slung sound with a fleshy bassline popping up the choppy, playful and synth-infused rhythm.
Paul K, a longstanding figure in the Romanian electronic music scene, unveils his latest release, "Black Round 36", showcasing his signature blend of minimalism, techno, and micro house. DJ Koze unveils a spiritual and surprising journey into rapturous spheres with Wespennest EP. The visionary artist and master of electronic sound, presents his first own release after 2018's global club hit "Pick Up".
"Candidasa" and "Wespennest" are the result of DJ Kozes inspiring stay in a secluded Benedictine monastery on the enchanting island of Sulawesi. Adam’s Bite label manager Martinesuqe delivers his new EP ‘Curtain Call’ this November via the label, comprising two original compositions and one instrumental mix.
Basel, Switzerland’s Martinesque has been etching his mark into the underground over the past decade through releases on Adam’s Bite and as an integral part of the Swiss scene, heading up the bookings of the widely beloved Elysia club on his home turf up until 2023.

The third vinyl release from Seattle/LA imprint Rhizome Records comes from label cofounder Kristijan Risteski aka Kinjo. Previous productions from Kinjo include a single on sublabel Rhizome Forms and a 3-track release on SF’s P.U.N.C.H.I.S. With his first vinyl pressing, Kinjo perfects a signature deep vibe while recruiting the talents of Uruguay’s Z@p and Romanian Dragomir for a pair of remixes.
“Marxian” rolls out a techy percussive architecture along with the alluring yet dissonant call of dystopian synths. The subsurface layers crackle and shift, revealing a never-ending array of sophisticated effects.
Z@p provides the remix on side A, wasting no time to transform the original with his moody yet playful excavation. An expertly crafted electro pulse supercharges the alluring tones of the original to unleash a dance floor ready weapon.
