There’s a rare tenderness to the way Byron The Aquarius makes house music. Across every release, the Alabama-born producer brings a deep sense of humanity - chords that breathe, basslines that sway, and melodies that seem to remember. On 'One of a Kind (Love Affair)', his debut for Hard Times, that emotional clarity shines through once again.

A master of the keys with a discography that spans Eglo, Signature, Apron, Axis, and more recently Skylax and Star Creature, Byron has long blurred the boundaries between jazz, soul, and machine groove. Here, he builds four tracks that each glow with feeling and finesse.

‘A New Life' opens with uplift and propulsion - crisp kicks and fluid sax lines circling around tender vocal refrains. 'The Last Mile of the Way' drifts inward, its spoken-word cadence and pulsing rhythm turning reflection into hypnosis. Starting out in 2001 to tie up some loose ends from our regulars, SPEICHER has since become a guarantee for vanguard dance sounds from all over the planet, allowing KOMPAKT to invite and support electronic artists that comfortably inhabit both the delicate and the more deliberate ends of the electronic music spectrum. For SPEICHER 76, two Irish acts crank up the volume for a healthy dose of sweaty, delirious techno - both acclaimed tracksmith CHYMERA and renowned Speicher favorite NAUM GABO hail from the green island... as is reflected in the color choice of this latest instalment in the series.

The decade of the 80s is revived through recordings like "Eyes" that allow you to travel through the music and trigger those old emotions of innocence, joy and adventure. It's possible you don't understand a word of what they're singing in the chorus, but the song is very catchy! Maybe not even Maria Chiara Perugini knows what she sings about, but she makes you hang on to every word of her like a nursery rhyme of synths, beach and bubblegum. "Eyes" is so amazing, so mesmerizing and more and more people are discovering this italo-disco masterpiece that usually satisfies and makes fun of you at the same time. If you try playing it at 75% speed gives a hypnotic vapor wave vibe! And even more, the song would have fit well in the dance club scenes from Scarface. An artist that needs very little introduction in the House scene… Since being the forefather of the filtered disco house sound in the early 1990’s with his releases on Cajual, Relief, Henry Street & Strictly Rhythm, and his production credits with Daft Punk, he has been a mainstay in the underground scene with his unwavering style. Little has changed in Sneak’s music in this time, as he always delivers his jackin’ signature sound on his productions or in his DJ sets. So we are delighted to have him on the label.

R&S proudly presents brand new signing Felix Manuel AKA Djrum.
Djrum is a perennially acclaimed underground artist, since his first release in 2010 who's quietly built a list of fans that reads like a who's who of contemporary dance music.
As an artist, Djrum has formed a reputation for his unique fusion of a range of genres ranging from jazz, hip hop and dubstep to ambient and techno. His music swells with oceanic bass laded beats, cavernous atmospherics and deeply emotive melodies. An accomplished DJ his compositional approach feels like a natural collage of his influences which has seen him release for the likes of the Zenker Brothers Ilian Tape imprint as well as the influential 2nd Drop label, plus remixes for Ninja Tune and Domino.
Felix now steps up to the plate at R&S with one of his most visionary releases to date. Deeply meditative melodies twist and turn through stuttering rhythms and pulsing low bass, hypnotic pads and woozy atmospherics. Manuel's music somehow manages to retains the urgency and dynamic pressure of the dance floor with the intimacy and elegant detailing of the best headphone music.
A natural fit for R&S, there is a full length Djrum album in the pipeline in 2018 - looks like it's going to be an exciting year ahead.

Felipe Gordon from Bogota is one of THE names right now in the jazz infected house & broken beat scene that is growing so much these days. This is his 2nd EP on Toy Tonics and its a step forward for him musically: he started to include more vocals and worked with colombian vocalist Paula Pedraza. Gordon’s music is special: with his background as a colombian (with that great heritage of musicianship that the country has) and as a indie rock musician (he used to play in bands for years) - he has a very own vibe. His tracks have much more groove than lot of the sample based stuff you get to hear currently...
and his production style is more variable and musically interesting than lots of other stuff outside. Check these 4 new tracks. Especially the 2nd tool, wich adds some freshness to the current disco vibe: Binging in a punkfunk bassline that could have been made in 2005 from Disco-Not-Disco artists like Chicken Lips, Headman or Playgroup. Franky Wah makes Crosstown Rebels debut with ‘Disconnect’ EP, featuring Kuuda. Out on 20th June 2025, the four-tracker sees the acclaimed UK producer make his first appearance on the revered imprint.

A producer known for balancing dancefloor energy with introspective songwriting, Franky Wah’s rise has been fuelled by a string of chart-topping singles, non-stop global club and festival appearances, and the launch of his own imprint and event brand, SHÈN. With musical influences stretching from trance and breakbeat to afro-house and techno, he now brings that rich sound palette to the Crosstown fold for the first time with a release that’s equal parts euphoric and deep as it is driving. Delivering a powerful and emotionally charged four-track release, 'Disconnect' showcases the Yorkshire-born artist’s blend of underground grit and melodic sophistication, featuring two standout collaborations with rising vocal trio Kuuda.

Opening the EP, the title track pairs swirling textures, brooding basslines and crisp percussion with commanding vocals, setting the tone for the journey ahead. The synergy continues on ‘Off The Wall’, a hazy, late-night jam elevated by Kuuda’s signature warped vox interjections. Life is like a mirror ball! The first one in a hopefully long-lived series of disco and pop influenced Super Sound Singles on Running Back, comes courtesy of the unmistakeable Gibson Brothers. Leaving their biggest wedding hits "Cuba" and "Que Sera Mi Vida" to the side, the philanthropic and smile-forcing "Ooh, What A Life" gets an extended edit service by Shan & Gerd Janson, who cut away some of the fat and make it fit for fun on contemporary dance-floors. The flip side sees them remixing and sandpapering "Heaven" into a disco-house interbred (filters and looping mandatory). To quote John Lyndon: "Disco sucks You never heard that from me."

Legendary House don Harry Romero joins Rekids for the first time with the ‘Nice To Meet You’ EP comprising two massive tracks with classic NY House DNA with the sort of modern twist Romero’s become synonymous with throughout his two-decade-plus career. The Bambossa Records founder now lands on Radio Slave’s flagship label following an impressive 2024, which featured releases on Faith, Nu-Groove, and Defected.

After his appearance on Rekids’ podcast series in August, House hero Harry Romero starts the label’s 2025 with the ‘Nice To Meet You’ EP. First up is the title track, a uniquely hypnotic cut with a bold kazoo melody and raw, club-ready low-end that shines on the breakdowns and high-impact drops. ‘Danny’s Groove’ is next, a track with real Romero energy, its rhythm carefully layered with an organic drum shuffle at the centre, an ear-catching whistle melody in the back, and plenty of synth hits in between - the ‘Nice To Meet You’ EP is a masterclass in building and releasing energy on the dancefloor.

Radio Slave’s Rekids imprint was founded in 2006 and has since spawned successful offshoots with the Techno-focused Rekids Special Projects in 2017 and its newest sublabel, REK’D, in 2024. With Matt Edwards as the sole A&R, Rekids has been crucial in developing early artist careers and has become a haven for established acts operating in House and adjacent genres, having recently featured the likes of Hilit Kolet, William Kiss, Bushwacka, Mathias Kaden, Katerina, Sean Johnston, and many more.

Powerful duo Henri Bergmann and Wennink make their Crosstown Rebels debut with ‘Guardian Angel’. Stimming and Hardt Antoine take the single to darker territories on their remixes.

Magnetic husband-and-wife duo Henri Bergmann and Wennink blend Bergmann’s taste for melodic realms with Wennink’s etherealv vocals and experimental left-leaning sound. Focusing on supporting up-and-coming talent via her label Automatik, Bergmann has also recruited some of the most notable producers in melodic house and techno for remixes, including The Element, Hernan Cattaneo, and Betical, while the duo's compelling collaborative work has caught the attention of heavyweights like Afterlife - featuring on the label’s ‘Realm Of Consciousness Pt.VI’ VA. Now, following Bergmann’s recent Hï Ibiza appearance and ahead of forthcoming sets at the likes of Zamna Mexico City, KOKO and Amsterdam Dance Event, the London-based couple bring their talents to Damian Lazarus’ Crosstown Rebels with ‘Guardian Angel’. Set to captivate audiences, the enchanting vocal single lands this September with remixes from German house DJ/producer Stimming and fellow London-based eclectic talent Hardt Antoine.

Melancholic yet uplifting ‘Guardian Angel’ opens with richly textured choric percussion that rises to meet Wennink's angelic vocals to powerful emotive effect. Stimming’s remix enters second, reaching for intensity over a stripped-back rendition through the driving rhythm and ethereal SFX. Closing out the record, Hard Antoine's remix pulsates with darker basslines and sharper synths, leaning into the otherworldly and stretching the melody into satisfyingly strange sci-fi-esque planes.

Rhythm Section International’s 12th release comes from another Mancunian called Tom, this time going by the name of Hidden Spheres. We are issuing a * FEEL-GOOD HIT OF THE SUMMER* alert for the title track, ‘Well, Well’, - a certified, yet sophisticated banger, ready to send that festival crowd one step closer to transcendence.

A versatile EP spanning over 5 tracks, Well Well is a house-tinged, jazzy affair - rich in soulful vocals, summery chords and live percussion. Hilit Kolet returns to Rekids for the ‘Snap Talk’ EP. It follows her ‘Hot Mess’ single for the storied imprint and features Kameelah Waheed's vocals on the title track.

Continuing her hugely successful run of 2024 releases, Hilit Kolet returns to Radio Slave’s revered Rekids label with the two-tracker ‘Snap Talk’, following in the footsteps of ‘Hot Mess’ (Rekids) and ‘Everything Is Amazing’ (Bush).

The two dancefloor favourites won DJ support from Laurent Garnier, TSHA, HAAi, Maya Jane Coles, Roman Flügel, Chloé Caillet, Jennifer Cardini and countless others while earning an extended string of radio plays from Danny Howard, Jamz Supernova and Sarah Story, who tapped Hilit for a Future Dance Mix.

For ‘Snap Talk,’ the fast-rising East London DJ and producer turns in yet another drop of striking, jackin’ power-house, this time propelled by Brazillian baile funk rhythms, a homage to her days as a samba dancer at London’s Notting Hill Carnival. Hilit Kolet has been integral to London’s underground scene ever since she was slinging vinyl at Soho’s legendary Black Market Records. Her distinctive, energetic DJ style established her behind the decks, playing everywhere from Ibiza to Berlin via Shanghai and Oslo.

Legendary hit 'I Like It Like That' by Inner Life & Jocelyn Brown gets a bold new remix by Michael Gray, releasing on Mark Knight's unstoppable Fool’s Paradise. Fool's Paradise, helmed by Mark Knight, has become a beacon for innovative new music and timeless classics, revitalized for modern listeners. Originally released in the early '80s, 'I Like It Like That' featuring Jocelyn Brown's powerhouse vocals, quickly became a dancefloor classic, and now continues to resonate with audiences worldwide. East London's Jeigo works alongside North London perfume house Nosu on this quietly inventive release from Fleurella Records that extends beyond the usual club framework and intertwines scent and sound. Opener 'Placid Shimmers' drifts between organic house, lo-fi ambient and introspective worlds with swung rhythms and soft focus synths, while 'SPF 50' leans into melancholic breaks and 90s IDM echoes. Tobias Menguser, AKA Leon De Winter, was a very influential figure in the 90's Frankfurt techno scene, releasing around 100 records under various aliases, including collaborations with Ricardo Villalobos, but it was his Leon De Winter alias that really caught the ears of legendary London label Eukahouse, who originally releases this 12" all the way back in 1997. A one-off, it is not only unique in its sound design but also genre defying, spanning deep house, tech-house, techno, electro and breaks.
A-Side 'Apollo Jazz' is truly that, sounding like it was composed from a freeform jam on a trip to the Moon. Opening with emotive chords, the track lifts off and builds, melodies effortlessly twist and turn, superbly pulling together a variety of well crafted synths, bass and percussion whilst keeping the energy to the fore. Over to the B-Side, 'Metamat', is bold and more playful in its execution, more sonic trickery abounds as the opening riffs and breakbeat percussion give way to a solid 4/4. The bass is as memorable as it is quirky, but again it's the strength in the way all the elements build and combine that creates some real tripped-out musical moments without ever losing its dance floor appeal.

This is one of Tobias's most sought after releases and it's no wonder his collaborative work with Ricardo Villalobos is legendary. The tracks themselves have remained exciting and relevant, achieving cult status amongst the most discerning DJs, record collectors and music heads alike. Luca Olivotto and his Small Great Things imprint has been keeping the house flame burning bright in recent years out of Berlin, regularly dropping soul-infused raw cuts perfectly sculpted for ultimate dance floor delight. Here to mark the label’s tenth release, Olivotto is at the helm once again with ‘Let’s Get Deep’.

Title cut ‘Let’s Get Deep’ leads with saturated drums, an amalgamation of intertwined keys, synth stabs, cinematic strings and vocal chants, underpinned by a weighty, bouncing bass groove. ‘I’m Not With You’ follows and shifts focus towards choppy piano chords, dynamic drums and tension building strings throughout.

On the flip side ‘Don’t Need To Know’, embraces a more dubbed out House feel with fluttering delayed chords, heavily reverberated vocal lines and swinging reduced drums. ‘Givin All My Love’ then rounds out the release with a more disco house tinged aesthetic fusing a snaking bass groove with plucked melodies, funk-infused keys and organic drums.

Rossi. invites Mad.Again to HOMEGROWN. as the first guest artist on the label for his ‘Beware Of The Dog’ EP, accompanied by a remix from Liquid Earth.

Home to two stand-out releases from the label boss himself to launch the project, Rossi. now opens the doors of his bubbling HOMEGROWN. imprint for the first time as he welcomes an emerging talent making plenty of early noise. Introducing Mad.Again, a DJ/producer from East London whose early support from the likes of tINI, Enzo Siragusa, and Jamie Jones has already seen him lining up alongside artists such as Dungeon Meat and Tania Vulcano. Following material on Dansu Discs and his Kennel Club Records imprint, he arrives on the label with three powerful originals across his ‘Beware Of The Dog’ EP, with Los Angeles’ Liquid Earth stepping up on remix duties.

Opener ‘Steppin’ is a lively, rave-drenched production as vibrant stabs work on top of a bumping bassline and skippy percussion, while ‘Dolce Far Niente’ draws for tough-hitting drums and bendy synths. On the B-Side, ‘Point5’ is a skippy effort guided by hip-hip samples and spaced-out breakbeats, before Liquid Earth closes the show in style with a trippy, wonky and off-kilter take on the lead track as he journeys deep into the hazy early morning hours.

MAD012 has arrived! or as we’ve been referring to it the ‘M.A.D Garage’ EP. (as in Paradise Garage)

After receiving Magari and Ilija Rudman’s tracks within a short time of each other it felt like a perfect fit to pair them together. Both productions give a nod to the 80s House sound whilst expertly bringing the aesthetic up to date.

Magari has provided us with an eyes closed dub’d out groover and Rudman supplies a winding and weaving synthesised journey, giving a sonic glimpse in to his fully stocked studio.

It’s always been top of our list to work with the inimitable Mark Seven. His music is a staple of our sets and as many of you know, is somewhat of guiding light of our scene. Any fan of Parkway Records knows it’s always an exciting day when they announce something new, needless to say we are proud to present a Parkway Powermix on M.A.D.

Finally, our good friend, the extremely versatile Producer/DJ Manuel Darquart finishes off the record with a sublime rolling take on ‘Danceteria’. If somehow you didn’t know him already consider yourself informed.

Massano’s Debut Album Natural Arrives on Vinyl

Following the success of his acclaimed debut album Natural, Massano announces the release on vinyl. Originally released digitally in April 2025, Natural marked a defining chapter in Massano’s artistic evolution and now fans can experience the project in a new tangible format.

A collection of 15 tracks that capture five years of growth, Natural showcases Massano’s ability to craft hard-hitting sonic stories that balance power, depth and emotion. This vinyl features a private edit of fan favourite “The Feeling,” alongside “Angel In The Dark” with Anyma, “Oblivion” with CamelPhat, and “Healing” with Stephan Bodzin. Digging deeper into the album, you'll find long-awaited tracks like “Welcome To The Underworld,” “Fade Away,” and “Over The Edge”, the vinyl release offers an analogue immersion into the full narrative arc of Natural.

I wrote this album in prison. I went to the music room every week to play on their keyboards. I studied different styles of beat patterns and sound recording to be a recording engineer. I wanted to create this new sound, so I took go-go, hip-hop, house, and drum and bass to blend up a new pattern of beats with a DJ sway. So I rapped on it. I need a perfect mix sound so I used a reverb gate, small room because I was in a small room. I used my moms blankets to trap the sound waves in the room. I use a digital mic from radio shack and was rapping with a blanket over my head to trap the sound waves. I played my keys in F flat to deepen the tone. I put tom toms on it to fill the spaces with handclaps to have that snap. Then I put a reverb gate on every instrument to get the lo-fi audio sound. I mastered it with all knobs on zero. Equalizer on zero. I mastered my own sound by tweeking and listening with cheap headphones. So that's why I call myself Mix-0-Rap because I master my mix and DJ rap style with a touch go-go rapping. After laying low in the burroughs for a few years the NY Stomp is back! Reconnecting with the raw, driving spirit of classic New York house, the project delivers a heavyweight, floor-focused EP. Originally from the US now resident in Barcelona Odd Parents have come up trumps with this killer single. The A Side, 'Teach The Wind' is a driving, hypnotically infused, analogue devastator of a track that's being championed heavily by Maceo Plex. The flip features the Maceo Plex Remix of 'Learning To Fly', a slice of transcendental effervescence that successfully manages to brush the stratosphere. Yet again, another great release from Ellum whose releases seem to be getting stronger and stronger.

Marking his first EP on Damian Lazarus’s revered Crosstown Rebels, OMRI. (pronounced “OMRI dot”) steps into the spotlight with ‘Nothing Wrong’—an infectious, immersive dive that traverses well beyond the dancefloor, laced with rhythm, tension, and soul. UK Balearic boss Pete Herbert has been dropping sounds inspired by his worldly travels for years and now gems from the last 20 years all make it on to this essential long player. These are all sounds for sunny spots, watery retreats and beach bliss-outs with Pete's signature touch everywhere. 'Back To Bahia' is a bubbly and loose house sound, 'Later That Night' has an edge that makes is suited to sundown dancing and 'South Seas' is a horizontal escape, while 'Legzira Sunrise' is dubby downtempo with tender chords that sink you in deep. Innervisions boss Dixon was the only artist to receive a super upfront copy of the track in early Summer 2022 and went on to hammer the release across countless festivals and club shows over the season. Dixon being Dixon, he didn’t stop there and went on to edit the track into a six and half minute groover that draws out Radio Slave’s production and NEZ’s raucous vocals perfectly. Now, this ‘Track ID’ favourite, which in its original vocal form has already been championed by Jennifer Cardini, Roman Flugel, Kolsch, I. JORDAN and more.

On the flip ‘You Don’t Know’, Radio Slave enters House mode, employing hooky vocal snippets,
chunky drum hits, and filtered synths to hypnotic effect across the deep 9-minute track. Championed by Honey Dijon, Gerd Janson, Paul Woolford, Ame and Laurent Garnier amongst others.

This new EP on OCD is once again another project into which we’ve poured all our love and attention, carefully working with the artist to compile a release that would, at least in our vision, stand the test of time.

Our friend Harsh (Reformed Society) caught our attention through his outstanding double EP on Basic Moves. A subsequent, very synchronistic real-life encounter with him in Barcelona led to this EP, which pays homage to the early 2000s Progressive House era.

This era played an important role in our musical journey, as it did in Harsh’s own. Within this project, he fuses the influences of that time with his own refined taste, resulting in three tracks that could easily pass as unreleased material unearthed from old dusty DATs from that era.

The formidable Rex The Dog returns with his first single for Kompakt in three years, “Change This Pain For Ecstasy”, a slow-burning disco-glitter stomp that’s charged with analog energy. Pushing his self-built modular hardware set-up to its limits, “Change This Pain For Ecstasy” is taut and thrilling, stripped-back and pulsating, with sweeping chords shimmering through a classic Moroder arpeggio, as a delirious voice sings out a psychedelic raver’s plaint for liberation, pleading for you to "take away my sorrow and this pain”. Deeply emotional, it’s also a masterwork in tension and release, dizzy with snare-rush peaks, and dark, humid valleys where Rex is bound to the patchbay.

On the flipside, Rex gives us “Moto”, which tickles your ear with cymatic phenomena, its gentle vibrations building, beautifully, into a monster-piece of stealth techno. Rex’s DIY synths work overtime as he chases patterns and phases through circuitry, wielding the tones until they erupt into a spray of pointillist pizzicato. The sounds here crackle and corrode, the textures so tantalizing, so sensual, you can almost grab hold of them with your hands. It’s great to have Rex The Dog back, making livewire, yet deeply human techno, alive and bursting with electricity.

We are happy to announce that Ruf Dug, the Mancunian record producer, radio host, and self-professed video game freak is the latest artist to climb aboard the Pinchy train.

Well known for his kaleidoscopic approach both in the DJ booth and in the studio, Ruf Dug has touched on genres as diverse as street soul, vaporwave, and acid house over the years. He has released material on labels such as Rhythm Section, Klasse Wrecks, and his own Moodymann approved Ruf Kutz.

For his Pinchy & friends’ debut (there's a 6-song EP in the works as well) the NTS radio host distils some of these aforementioned influences and presents a two-track 12" that explores dub techno, Chicago acid, and atmospheric balearica.

Built around a solid, techy thud, "Thru The Night!" rides seismic bass waves and reverb-laden stabs to more tropical climes, thanks to gusts of echoed flutes and a catchy, 8-bit vocal hook.

On the flip, "I Love You" takes a minor-key synth riff and sends it off to music school for some late-night nasty dance floor bliss.

A mastermind in showcasing various shades of house music in their inimitable manner, Danish-born, Amsterdam-based DJ/producer Samuel Andre Madsen, aka S.A.M., stands as a rare talent within the current house landscape. Whether crafting trippy, cosmic and psychedelic late-night excursions, delicate, hazy journeys, or groove-driven, heady cuts, their studio naus and innate musical talent has seen them release via a list of leading labels while heading up their own Delaphine, Dahlia and Oscillat imprints - not to mention their longstanding role as one-third of globally renowned trio Mandar. The five piece run by Andrew Elston and Ross Ferraro is comprised of veterans from all over Australia's music scene. Tiger Stripes debuts on Rekids with ‘I Heard It Through the Bassline’.

Stockholm’s Tiger Stripes appears on Matt Edwards’ Rekids for the first time with the ‘I Heard It Through The Bassline’ two-tracker. The EP starts with the aptly named title track, defined by its deeply infectious bass, which propels forward along tight house grooves and classy gospel vocals. ‘I Heard It Through the Bassline’ is followed by Tiger Stripes’ ‘Everybody’s Doing It’, a stylish, low-slung people mover with the air of a vibey, dim-lit establishment or introspective late-night journey through the city.

Strange Idols label founder Tiger Stripes is a prolific producer, remixer, and DJ who has been active since the early 2000s. He’s collaborated with artists like Kerri Chandler and Jerome Sydenham and released music via heavyweight underground imprints, including Hot Creations, Get Physical, and Sydenham’s Ibadan. Now, he moves the needle again with the ‘I Heard It Through the Bassline’ EP on Rekids.

Esteemed producer and All Day I Dream fan-favorite Tim Green is back releasing on Lee Burridge’s renowned imprint, offering an EP full of melodic gems. Only released in October 2006, Anders Trentemøller's stunning debut-album - The Last Resort' already evolved into one of the most successful independent albums of the year. Raving reviews all over the place, various elections as - album of the year' and solid playlists at the radios express the huge interest in the fantastic album. While 2006 has been topped of with a tour through Australia, the first Trentemøller highlight in 2007 will be the release of - Moan', the second single from the album. For the a-side Trentemøller himself created a brilliant remix of the - Moan'-Vocal Version, which has been released on the Bonus-CD of the limited edition album only. Trentemøller managed to keep the mystic melancholic vibe of the track featuring the vocals of danish talent Ane Trolle, but adds punshy drums, screaming synths and some more guitars to guarantee serious dancefloor-action. Radioslave aka Matt Edwards aka Rekid aka Quite Village, on of the most in demand remix artists at the moment (Moby, Booka Shade, Justice, Peace Division, Pet Shop Boys, Joakim etc) contributed a great remix on the flipside. Slowly building over reduced drumpatterns their mix culminates into a manic wall of sound. While Poker Flat 81 features the vocal versions of both Trentemøller's and Radioslve's remixes, the instrumental and dub versions will be released simultaneously

The anonymous Only Music Matters crew serve up another EP of smoking sounds for discerning crowds. It's the smart sampling of a classic motif from jazz-house great Saint Germain that makes the opener 'AAA001A' so enchanting as a bluesy vocal drifts in and out of a dry, dubby, minimal tech beat. 'BBB001B' is more driving and gritty, a clipped tech cut to keep things moving in the dead of night, then 'BBB002B' brings another supple groove, this time with rays of synth rising out of the mix like the morning sun. Quirky sound designs and a skipping rhythm make it irresistible.

Levi Bruce returns to Pacific Rhythm under his Unknown Mobile moniker for the first time since 2019 with a project entitled Field Work. The project is focused around field recordings taken during the winter and spring of 2025.

These recordings come from both his travels abroad while on tour and areas near his home in Whitehorse, Yukon Territory, located on the traditional lands of the Ta’an Kwäch’än Council and Kwanlin Dün First Nation.

Each field recording acts as the basis for a journal entry taken at the location. Raw data was used to reflect on the people, actions, and environmental elements connected to the site through additional production and manipulation.

4 To The Floor is committed to delivering seminal house music to wax, making sought after heritage tracks readily available on vinyl for crate diggers to add to their collections. The third edition of the series pays homage to one of the most heralded names in house music - Armand Van Helden. While Armand’s productions like ‘U Don’t Know Me’ and ‘Bonkers’ have soared to #1, he has remained a true legend of the underground. One of the most illustrious remixers in the game, this 12” package celebrates this part of Armand’s skillset. Kicking off the A-side is his remix of the 1993 club anthem by Tonja Dantzler ‘In And Out Of My Life’, followed by the Shan and Gerd Janson edit which amplifies the original even further. On the flip is a classic bouncing house and garage sound from 1997 on Armand’s remix of Geoffrey Williams’ ‘Sex Life’, followed by the more recent Armand remix of Lee Walker vs. DJ Deeon’s ‘Freak Like Me’ – an explosive club track that was championed by everyone from Marco Carola to Annie Mac.

What follows is the compelling collaboration from two leaders of the Afro scene, China Charmeleon and Hypaphonik with ‘We R 1’ - plus jazz and house maestro Crackazat’s 3-step release ‘Can’t Blame A Soul’ (Mana’s Dub). Closing out this curation of four tracks that capture Stay True Sounds’ unique aesthetic is ‘SARS’, an original also from the mind of talented DJ and producer beatsbyhand.

We are back with another chapter in our ongoing series of unearthing smooth vibes from all over the world, this time we go back to the FUTURE for you with: THE SUNSET MANIFESTO Volume 2. After a five year break mainly concentrating on the late 70s/early 80s Westcoast Soul/Yacht/AOR sound, we finally dive deep into the modern world of our beloved sister-label Too Slow To Disco NEO (for the third time after 2018s TSTD NEO - En France and 2020s The Sunset Manifesto excursions). But of course it wasn't a real 5 year break since the first Sunset Manifesto compilation, as in the meantime we also released a few digital TSTD Neo singles, and - more importantly - our "Too Slow To Disco NEO - FM" playlist on spotify (handcurated by Dj Supermarkt every week and now hosting more than 1500 tracks of mellow, modern sunshine vibes) was growing steadily and becoming a new, important fixpoint in the TSTD musical universe. TSTD NEO is the outlet Dj Supermarkt is using to unearth modern laidback, smooth, sunny slow disco vibes with a soulful Westcoast/Balearic touch. For him TSTD always has been about a laidback vibe/feeling, not a certain time period in musical history. And that sunny Westcoast vibe we dug out on those traditional TSTD compilations has become a huge influence to so many modern artists. Embarking on our musical journey with Wiremu, originally from New Zealand and now based in Leeds, we set sail with his EP, "The Subtle Hustle." Beyond a personal passion, Wiremu's dedication to music production serves as a tribute to his Maori heritage, infusing his compositions with profound cultural depth. "The Subtle Hustle," the opening track, forges a dynamic tone with deep bass, punchy percussion, and house-infused Rhodes chords. Minimal references and synthetic rips seamlessly fuse, creating a captivating dance track. "Beat-Up Town," the second track on the A side, is a dance floor blockbuster with bouncy bass, accompanied by an 808 kick drum. Markus Homm, the veteran Romanian DJ and producer who now lives in Nürnberg, drops a 3 tracker on the ever dependable Sublease Music. Cubicle is the perfect summation of Homm’s aesthetic - tight rhythms, heightened tension and precise sound design combining to make the perfect dance floor weapon.

Detroit Legend, Rick Wade joins Collect Records for the first time with Just Beneath EP. A key figure in Detroit's second generation of house producers and founder of Harmonie Park, Rick Wade delivers three deep and hypnotic cuts rooted in jazz, soul and classic machine funk. Warm, stripped-down and functional, with one acid-leaning track adding extra tension to the EP. Underground house music for late night hours. Collect Records operates from Collect, the Lisbon-based record shop and radio located in Cais do Sodre, a meeting point for DJs, collectors and the local underground scene.

To get with down roots of the label you have to get down with its people. For one of these key roots, you have to hear and understand what David Guriev has to say with the audio message that’s getting translated to us as listeners. Being one of allies of the label and the non-stop behind the scenes inspiration, David has created a 5-track extended play named after one of his favorite female boxers named Erica Cruz. From the side of the cinematic importance, Erica has appeared momentarily in our lives, with a brief timing that the world has provided her. However she has never left the idea that has given the birth to this EP, and more or less has started the discussion of what it is to be or not to be like Shakespeare himself used to talk about after a good soul-searching session.

It’s been exactly a year since the 6th Borough boys emerged from their hiatus to bring us the Rhythm & Truth EP. This killer three tracker picked up where they left off and showed us that fans of deep, dusty, dubbed-out disco were as hungry as ever for new 6BP material and went on to garner praise from the likes of Jamie 3:26, Luke Solomun, Dam Swindle, Young Pulse and the Faith crew to name a few. Here on their follow up we’re treated to more of the good stuff and sees Craig Smith and Graeme ‘Revenge’ Clark whipping up four new cuts spanning speaker- wobbling sub-aquatic grooves and stripped back deep house.

One Way sets the tone with a subtle yet infectious percussive workout which is one of those mood setting tools which looks set to become a lot of DJ’s secret weapons this summer. Filtering strings and tweaked synths add that classic Chicago energy which won’t fail to get you locked into it’s groove. Spare Change treads a similar path but goes heavier on the echoing synth stabs and deep string pads proving that when the rhythm is rolling this nicely just let it roll.

Flip over for Backlash which takes us deeper still with lush chords and driving square wave bassline taking centre stage supported by an unrelent ing kick drum which helps to keep an intensity throughout the arrangement. Closing out the EP we have The Other, which sees 6BP dropping the BPM’s to create a low-slung slice of deep, underground house perfection.
