This is the second in our planned trilogy of Junto Club EPs. If the first was the birth of the Junto Club, this is the middle-aged existential crisis.
We've followed the same ethos as the first EP, allowing the music to develop organically rather than being restricted by considerations of genre. Naturally, this was shaped by our experiences of the first EP.
While the first EP developed through our experimentation with new sounds behind closed doors, this EP was the result of our attempts to retrospectively understand those creations and the interpretations of others. These reflections were mixed with our reimagining of those discoveries and our experiences of their live performance.
Warm Me Up is not the same as the Junto Club EP because those virgin sessions can never be recreated. Nor should they be. This is the middle aged existential crisis of the Junto Club. And we hope you enjoy dancing to it.

Moderna & Theus Mago met in Mexico a day of "Ley Seca' (when the Mexican government shot all bars and clubs down the entire weekend for voting purposes). That night, as djs in the city were gig-less, they organized an impromptu illegal' house party outside the city, with most of the local heroes (Mijo, Sanfuentes, Bu, Andre VII, Moderna, Max Schmitt, Watty and more). Cititrax present the second in a series of four song samplers showcasing the talents of some of the most innovative producers of the moment. Cititrax: Tracks Volume Two features the fearless and ultra-talented Chinese producer Tzusing, the raw avant-garde electronics of London based producer L/F/D/M, creative West Coast powerhouse Silent Servant, and prolific underground French producer Maelstrom. The overall sound can be described as modern, uncompromising and guttural. Each artist reinvents dance music by bringing their own unique vision to the floor.

Kim Ann Foxman realigns her vision as a producer in a welcome return to her own New York based Firehouse Recordings label with her 'It's You That Drives Me Wild EP ' Kim Ann Foxman featured in Pitchfork's 7 Best Mixes of May 2016 Kim Ann Foxman Fact Mix June 2016.

The title track spins an intoxicating groove over Kim Ann's vocals full of desire and lust, while 'Give It All You Got' fuses raw energy and dextrous percussion through her confident, evocative words. Close ally and regular cohort Maya Jane Coles seamlessly remixes 'It's You That Drives Me Wild'with her signature sound. The mood suddenly becomes much tougher during ' Magic Window ' wrapping up the latest offering from New York's finest lady of electronic music.

Since creating Firehouse Recordings in conjunction with The Vinyl Factory two years ago, Kim Ann has released sporadically on her label, resulting in only highly thought­out and credible music from the imprint. A long standing figure in the New York dance scene, Kim Ann has remixed The XX and collaborated with Anthony Simoncino ´s alias Ron Jason. A regular at Panorama Bar, she continues to tour relentlessly with her high voltage signature style that is both remarkably original and infectious.

Modek has been busier than ever since the release of his 'Haunt' EP on Lektroluv - that got played by everyone from Digitalism and Mixhell over Cassius to Boris Dlugosch and Porter Robinson.


Apart from touring like a madman he did remixes for Make The Girl Dance and Fukkk Off.


'Clown In My Kitchen' is the title track of his 6th release on Lektroluv. The least you can say is that it doesn't sound like so many other tracks, Modek has his own sound and never compromises.

Berlin based label Vortex Traks is brought to life with the release of their first EP. Mesak kicks things off with high energy electro funk which is followed by a flight across the galaxy piloted by Jeremiah R. Flipside goes deeper, with Matti Turunen delivering a dubby acid flavored electro cut. Automatic Tasty finishes things off with a magnificent track featuring an addictive bassline and some very emotive chords.

Robot Elephant Records are proud to present 'work it, no', a new EP by Berlin-based synthesizer extremist Dead
Fader. The release represents another milestone in Robot Elephant's mission to nurture innovative and
sometimes challenging electronic music talent.

Robert Witschakowski takes a break from rewiring the rules of electro with his prolific The Exaltics project to deliver the eerie soundtrack album, 'Acanthosaura'. Working with Nico Jagiella - with whom he co-runs the Solar One label - the pair have created the soundtrack for a world of flickering shadows, dark ambient textures and ominous bass tones. It's the first Crotaphytus release in six years and according to Witschakowski, a project stemming from his love of reptiles and movie soundtracks. Like previous Crotaphytus releases on Solar One, 'Acanthosaura' is a deeply atmospheric affair. With each track title a reference to different types of lizards, from the death-paced drums of Cyclura Cornuta' to the slow-motion ebm-disco groove of Xenosaurus Platyceps' and the murderous subs of Caiman Latirostris". In between, the dark ambient passages of Conolophus Subcristatus' and Amblyrhynchus Cristatus' as well as nods to The Exaltics' spaced out electro in Iguana Delicatissima". However, Robert insists that the album remains true to the project's ethos. Crotaphytus is always dark and haunting. The project has no rules and that gives us the total freedom to make everything with it. I make also different styles with The Exaltics, but I have a concrete vision every time. With Crotaphytus, we let it flow and see were we land at the end. For this album, we tried to create an atmosphere like you are in a deep jungle, chased by giant lizards. Ambient has really the power to transport feelings. I guess this is subliminal in us from watching films.

Axodry was the duo of Andreas Talla 2XLC" Tomalla and Ralf "Ra/Hen" Henrich, who formed in Frankfurt, Germany in 1982. The two met at City Music record store where Talla 2XLC worked, supplying the local DJ scene with dance 12's. From 1984 to 1991 they released six maxi 12' singles. Both members were leading figures in the European electronic scene during the 80's and 90's, forming bands like Bigod 20, Tribantura, Micro Chip League, Moskwa TV, Pluuto and Robotiko Rejekto.

In 1988 they released the maxi 12' single You' on ZYX Records/Combeat. Influenced by Depeche Mode, Gary Numan and John Foxx, the duo crafted high impact Industrial, Synth Pop and Electronic Body Music. Their basic set up for recording at RaHen's home studio was a Moog Rouge, Roland SH-101, Teisco synthesizer, Linn Drum and Fricke sequencer. Ra/Hen performed dramatic vocals, which tell of a lost love found in dreams. Included here are the Beauty & The Beat Mix and the Beasty Dub Mix from the 1988 single. On the flip is the Razormaid Remix, performed by Art Maharg and Joseph Watt, that originally appeared on the "Welcome To The Technodrome' compilation in 1989. Also included is Mechanic', originally released in 1991 as the B-side for their final single Losing You'.

All songs have been remastered for vinyl by George Horn at Fantasy Studios in Berkeley. The record comes in a sleeve featuring the original black and blue cover art with hand-painted typography by Dr. Draw, The Gruesome Grapholoic. Each copy includes a postcard with with notes. The pair will also embark on a short UK tour starting on 1st September, and including an appearance at Festival No.6 on 3rd, before they play London's Kamio Club (formerly Red Gallery) on 6th September. The Charlatans frontman originally met New Yorker Peter Gordon in 2012 and they decided then on a music collaboration. Burgess had been a long time fan of Gordon's work with Arthur Russell and The Love Of Life Orchestra. The album was produced by Gordon in New York and features many of his and Tim's previous collaborators: Ernie Brooks who played with Arthur Russell on the first Modern Lovers album, trombone player Peter Zummo, conga player Mustafa Ahmed and Nik Void from Factory Floor.

"What I love about working with Peter is that in the late 70s with Peter Zummo and Arthur Russell and all the New York cats at The Kitchen, they were all making futuristic records," Burgess enthuses. "Now Peter in his mid-60s is still looking to do that. It's the world that I want to be in."

Since he was young, he has always been impressed by the sounds of the synths, electro pop and later on acid house. In the beginning of the 90ies, when the Slovenian electronic scene was still in the making, he was a regular guest in the legendary K4 and Palma in Slovenia. He was taken further into the world in 1998 when he took his first steps behind the turntables and he has been producing music since 2004. Since then, he has had quite a few releases and remixes for different record labels.He has dj gigs with huge names of the electronic scene and in large festivals in Slovenia and became the official Slovenian Hero of the future in 2007 at the Disconautica festival.He spends much of his time in his studio, where his thoughts are converted into notes and melodies, and as he often states, he finally found a style that suits him and always finds a challenge in. What is that style He doesn`t like to be defined by a specific music style, as he prefers and is influenced by many different genres of electronic music.
Alex Long is definitely a name we will hear of in the future!

STASIS005 is another vinyl issue of Elysia Crampton's digital work, following STASIS003, the 'Bound Adam 2011' 7". It is the first pressing of 'The Light That You Gave Me To See You', originally released under the name E+E.

The arrangements were conceived between 2011 and 2012, and the l.p. was finally assembled in 2013, while the artist was homeless in Los Angeles, California. This edition also includes a previously unreleased bonus track, "Troll Song", which originates from the same period. As with 'Bound Adam 2011', the art is by Felix Lee, and the master is by Brandon Hocura.

Bay area wonder kid Nick Monaco makes his shining debut on Soul Clap Records with this very limited 7' release. The A side "Butterfly" is a slo-mo, 808 laden, melodic piece of postmodern psychedelic E-Funk. On the flip side "My Baby's Back (Can't Wait)" delivers a response to 80's icon Cameo's "Single Life". An innocent yet poignant and hopeful breakup- to-makeup love song, its clear that Monaco isn't too shy to reveal his romantic side.

bei den vier Tracks um minimalistische, meditative und besinnliche Musik, die voll ist von wundersamen ChorKlängen, Flöten-Sounds und Effekten. Sich überlagernde Sequenzer-Linien und dominante Flächen mit
Wohlfühlharmonien werden durch beruhigende und besänftigende Beats getragen. Trostel beschrieb seine
Aufnahmen einst als Klangfarbenkompositionen. Heute ist die Wavetable genannte Syntheseform deutlich
weiterentwickelt in vielen Soundkarten und Digitalsynthesizern anzutreffen. In dem PPG Wave Computer 360
A war die Syntheseform noch sehr puristisch, was sich in einem klirrenden, teilweise harschen bis brüchigen
Klang äußerte.

With the participation of bands, artists and DJs from all over the world, the result is a beautiful mutant vinyl that will leave you breathless...7 songs remade as extended versions, a 'size' of song so diffused in '80s, half way pop and dance.

No Regular Play has come along way in their pursuit of sonic excellence. Their freshly completed second album, 'Can't You See', is the duo's finest showing to date. Forged amidst the fires of coping with the loss of a dear loved one, 'Can't You See' is a testament to the power of creativity triumphing over and transmuting adversity.

The multi-instrumental and impressively talented band consists of born and bred Minnesotans Gregory Paulus & Nicholas DeBruyn who relocated to Brooklyn, NY, 10 years ago. They are the same Crew Love stalwarts that you should know and love. This time around, the gentleman have pushed their art and craft further than ever before, fine-tuning each individual sound on the album to an unprecedented level of detail with the help of talented producer, Alex "Hammer" Hamadey. The end result is a work that is robust, substantively deep and ready to soundtrack your night; be it a steamy dance floor or a romantic summer tryst.

For the unfamiliar, No Regular Play's creative essence is that of artists inspired by the dirty instincts of the late night dance floor but married to the lush harmony of the concert hall. This essence is on clear display in 'Can't You See', and definitively thriving.

The duo began composing this album shortly after the passing of Gregory Paulus' father, Stephen Paulus, one of the most prolific American composers of the last century. Consequently, the core of the album is driven by their bold spirit to positively respond to a very intense period in their lives. The songwriting takes a deeper tone addressing the topics of life, death, hope, cherished memories and perseverance. 'Can't You See' is about remembrance and embracing the beautiful truth that the music will always live on. The second track of the album, 'Lake Gilmore', carries an eerie nostalgia that serenely enhances this theme of remembrance. The melody is an outline of a chord Stephen Paulus used to play frequently, a stylistic hallmark. No Regular Play recorded this melody on Stephen's Steinway grand piano from 1925, a family heirloom and the same piano he wrote music on every day of his life. Throughout the album, there are many recordings made on Stephen's piano, so listen closely on 'Be Together' & 'Never Be the Same'. These were some of the last notes played on the beloved instrument. No Regular Play will be touring 'Can't You See' the world over, expanding the project with a full live band including piano, drums, and saxophone. They have already gotten their feet wet with this wonderful live configuration, so catch them as they move forward, one step at a time towards the full-fledged musical masters they are destined to become.
