House Vinyl New Releases - News

The fifth release from Kraftjerkz is the deepest by far... an ass-shaking cross between Kraftwerk and a John Carpenter soundtrack featuring drum rhythms ala Computer World.

Takes the Sludge sound into another dimension: "Cheddar Bae" shows Applewhite's more Ghettotech side w/insanely catchy call & response vocal hook. "Mouthwork" has a drag gin juke beat, w/Ashbaby pimping the Dance Mania vibe.

About two years ago Sonar Kollektiv released Marlow's first 12inch. The funky sparkler inviting everybody to bop along, Backroom' (SK265) soon became a stable club hit and got airplay on all respectable radio stations all around the globe (f.e. Gilles Peterson's Worldwide show on BBC Radio 6 Music). The song with the distinctive voice of Pete Josef still works perfectly as proven by this year's Sonar Kollektiv's (limited) Record Store Day release. Two brand new remixes give wings to Backroom' and transport the track a second time to all the dance floors where hips are swayed lasciviously. No less a figure than the Hamburger allround entertainment machine Erobique takes the track to task and puts you with his Maxi Mix in a cheerful mood in an infectious way. A tiny bit more restrained is the Super Disco Dub remix by Alex Barck and Marlow. Supremely sensitive the bassline played by Christoph Kaiser works its way sluggishly into the groove until the keys by Erobique - in this version as well - take lead. Everything leads to Marlow's debut album, coming this June!

We continue our tribute journey, now we bring in Oscar winning and Dance Hall Of Fame awarded Giorgio Moroder, the man behind such classic tracks with Donna Summer (I Feel Love), Irene Cara (Flashdance) and a number of great film scores such as American Gigolo, Scarface and Midnight Express big support from Dimitri From Paris, Headman, The Glimmers, Simon Lee, Ajello, Ilya Santana and many moore..

!!! repressed !!! the classic feat. atomek dogg !!!

Mikron are two English brothers, Michael & Ciaran Corcoran, living in Australia. Returning to CPU with their L.P. (CD/Digital) & E.P (Vinyl) Warning Score.

Mikron's love of melody and pattern are very much at the forefront with every track full of great hooks and rhythms. The album takes you on a journey through various sub genres all delivered with careful execution and enviable studio mastery.

The title track 'Warning Score' is forged from an acid bassline with Mikron's signature saturated drums, which begs for a big room / system.

You'll find plenty of analogue action throughout, along with some downtempo IDM affairs. Prepare yourself for dark, moody and bass-heavy electronics.

Vercetti Technicolor's ficticious soundtrack to the 1972 Munich Massacre, is a bleak, cold and somber work. Partly inspired by the 1999 Documentary by Kevin Macdonald, Vercetti creates a tense and brooding approach to this, the most darkest of subject matter. This is far from dancefloor material, this is doom-electronics at it's most frightening. Giallo Disco is proud to present our first LP, Vercetti Technicolor's Black September, closer to minimal wave than moroder and all the better for it. Remixes come from Mexico's PLAYTONTO and Creme Organization signing's Francesco Clemente.

Flash Cero started in Madrid in 1986 and with just a Roland Juno 60, one Casio 5000, a Simmons drum machine, some effects and basic equipment they recorded a demo with 6 tracks. After a few months the band finally got a contract with a Spanish label to record and release their debut album 1988'.

27 years later this influential and cult techno-pop album is back to life. All original tracks, 6 demo tracks and some live recordings have been remastered from the original tapes and a new artwork has been created with graphic material from band private archives.

Clone Classic Cuts serves another cult Italo disco classic! Gorgeous female vocals slapped on that lovely 80's synthesizer/drum programming.

a megaphat electro house bomb on kompute records with remix by alexander robotnick !!!

P.I.G." (Post-Industrial Geometry) is the second EP by 77™. It's a dive into old-school electro and minimal synth. Includes a cover of Dupont's "Let's rock" from the classic "Breakin' 'n' Enterin'" Original Motion Picture Soundtrack (1983).

Two new compositions from this minimal-synth duo from the post-industrial city of Lodz (Poland).

R2 Records are happy to present the first full-length project from Karizma's alter ego Kaytronik. From his earliest days as part of Baltimore's premier crew - The Basement Boys - Kris Klayton was never one to stay in a musical box, always probing beyond the constraints of the soulful house domain. His Kaytronik persona, (previously reserved for remixes of other artists and a single on Atjazz Recordings) has allowed him greater freedom to explore beat syncopation, mood and impassioned expression further with an album that showcases his ability to work at any tempo, with a variety of styles, but always with the emotional content intact.
'Thee Album' contains electronic explorations of down tempo emotive beats, club bangers and impossible to categorize grooves, not to mention thought provoking messages about where we stand in the current global climate

Exceptionnel danceable electronic tracks with undeniable hitpotential. Heartbeast have been quietly digging their own tunnel under the borders of genres and categorization in order to dig through to the light and influence audiences with pop appeal and style as well as artistic presence, new pathways for soul music and astoundingly independent professionalism.

4 different artists, crossed on many good electro techno french labels are here united for a Chapati Express kind of new project. If you like solid Basslines and tekhouse feelings tyou'll here get 4 good tunes ! Get it or be damned:)

2015 was another great year for Z Records, a year that saw the release of the new artist album from Opolopo, the Joey Negro compiled Le Freak - a tribute to the sound of Chic, 90's House & Garage and the long awaited Supafunkanova Vol.2 alongside Sean P.
Z Records is starting 2016 in similarly strong fashion with the follow up to Remixed With Love. It's been over two years since the first instalment which topped many sales charts on its release so now the remixes that made up that album have been heard on house and disco dancefloors around the world ever since, it's time for Volume 2. So allow us to present 20 more reworkings of classic soul, funk, disco and boogie tracks from the likes of Grace Jones, Robert Palmer, Cheryl Lynn, The O'Jays, Gwen McCrae, George Benson and many more. Admittedly, we live in a world where remixes and edits of vintage dancefloor anthems aren't exactly hard to come by, in the same way that grains of sand aren't hard to come by on a beach. But where Soundcloud, Beatport et al heave under the weight of a gazillion bootleg offerings, many taking a dusty, scratched old 12-inch or a dodgy MP3 as their starting point, Remixed With Love is a little different. Not only is the man with one of the most legendary record collections in the game guaranteed to dig deeper than most, every track you hear has been (re)created using spanking new analogue transfers of the original multi-track tapes, with the full consent and co-operation of the copyright owners. Which means not only are you getting the best possible sound quality, the creators of the original tracks are getting paid too - as they damn well should be. These multi track tapes also uncovered elements that were not used in the original mixes so Joey has incorporated some of these never before heard parts such as the Grace Jones aerobic workout instruction.

Putting an album like this together is no easy feat, as Dave himself explains in the extensive liner notes that accompany this package. First, you have to get permission from the copyright owners to undertake the project at all - which can in itself entail hundreds of emails and phone calls. Then you have to track down the original tapes - when many may have been recorded over, lost or simply destroyed - and convince the label archivists to get them digitised. And that's before you even start on the remixing... which is when you find half the parts are missing, or you can't foreground that killer piano lick you wanted to because the original was recorded live in the studio and the piano track has the bassline bleeding all over it. The title of this album is extremely appropriate, because for Mr Lee this definitely has been a labour of love!

That's the name which is used by the complete body inked cousins Sigi Aigner and Didi Bruckmayr for their
outstanding performances on Club Dance-parties, Festivals, Free-parties and weddings in the Home- and Foreign-
Countries since more than two years. At their shows they use deep bass-lines, demanding beats, gentle hooklines
and raging 3-D objects. The large sized Mr. State-opera-chorister Aigner and the dwarfish Universal-bush-leaguer
Dr. Bruckmayr also are known for their benedictional work with the performance-group Fuckhead; for them they
count as finded minds. Mussurunga is a frowing suburb of the brazilian provincial capital Salvador da Bahia, which Aigner and Bruckmay vistied job related. While one of them waited without success for a date in Mussurunga and spent all the spondulix which was meant for the taxi, the other one worked very hard in the regional beach-bars on artistic concepts. The result of this jobshare is, among other things, the present EP.

Nachtstrom is back with this massive remix-ep featuring 3 monster mixes by Brian Sanhaji, Perc and Dietrich Schoenemann. Played & supported by Extrawelt, The Advent, Ortin Cam, Xpansul, Xavier Morel and many more!!!

Yellow Vinyl Pressing!
Debut album from ACID WASHED founder & member Andrew Claristidge on his own label. - Releases on Record Makers (Sébastien Tellier, Kavinsky, Midnight Juggernauts) Limited to 150 edition LP, Yellow Yinyl , Includes Insert to request Download - Insert will explain that if listener posts photo of the record on social media and tag artist, he will receive the free mp3 download link. The artwork was created by Océane Moussé.
Andrew's journey started with reading about the story of the dance plague in 1518 where hundreds of people were seized by an irresistible urge to dance in the streets until exhaustion and death. His favourite song Etre assis ou danser' from the Berlin based band Liaisons Dangereuses had an even stronger creative trigger after reading this... For his first solo album, Andrew Claristidge - member of the Parisian duo Acid Washed (Record Makers) decided to fly to Ubu Noir's studio in Lyon where he knew he could find one EMS synthetizer to start to record a few sounds he wanted to include. The experience was highly stimulating so that back at his studio in Berlin, he had assembled almost all the ideas for his album with the basic concept: You can dance to every kind of music. At the same time Andrew started a new way of producing: less thinking, more acting. He called it Pragmatic Composing. During this composing period he was also touring and stopped in Nantes to record a track with another friend and music connoisseur: Leendder.

True to the motto - Do It Yourself' Diynamic is re-releasing Solomun's remix of Lana Del Rey's 'West Coast' on its sister-label 2DIY4, in order to make it available all around the globe. In his subtle manner, Solomun works his magic around the breathless sultry vocals of Lana Del Rey: Apart from the luscious beat and the droning lower frequencies, the catchy synthesizer builds a simple, but harmonic structure that sends you on a mesmerizing journey throughout the track. The a-side, which is the dub remix, has already proven to be raising hands on festivals and in clubs during this summer all over the world, the b-side attracts the listener with the matchless voice of Lana del Rey.

Caroline Chaspoul and Eduardo Henriquez mapped the scenes of Europe and Latin America for over 12 years with their band PANICO. Combining a taste of post punk with latin energy "straight from Chile", PANICO heralded the heyday of the punk funk revival in Europe and became a cult group in Latin America.
Ten albums later, Caro and Edu have launched a new project : NOVA MATERIA.
NOVA MATERIA was born from the willingness to consider music as a direct derivative of the natural and industrial elements that surround us. More electronic and experimental than PANICO, the duo uses raw material to transform and recycle : scrap metal tubes, stones rubbed on metal, drum, beat boxes, bass, electric guitars used as percussions....To refine their sound Caro and Edu nabbed DJ and producer CHLOE, a real expert in turning raw elements into golden nuggets.
NOVA MATERIA is a two-headed hydra: one tropical, the other industrial. Their first EP "APARECE EN SUENOS" is a concentrate of wild energy, live act ferocity and sound experiments magnified by CHLOE.

Optimo Music release THE GOLDEN FILTER's 'PS1103' in late September.

We are very happy to welcome The Golden Filter to Optimo Music. In fact we loved all the tracks they sent us so much that as well as a 4-track EP, they will be sharing an EP release on Optimo Trax too.

Penelope and Stephen originally hail from opposite sides of the planet (Australia and America) but have united to create a distinctly unique electronic sound. Following several previous releases, their sound has progressed into a deeper, richer, advanced hypno-sound with state of the art synthetic sound design and vocal phrases ricocheting around the mix. It's hard to pull off tracks that constantly morph and develop over the course of a few minutes but The Golden Filter accomplish this with seeming ease on the "PS1103" EP.

Music for nightclubs and far beyond.
