House Vinyl New Releases - News

Pressure Suit is proud to present its first album project, Dinsync from Michal Matlak, better known as The Analog Roland Orchestra (TARO). After making waves with EPs on labels like Ornaments Music, Pastamusik, Polymorph and Rotary Cocktail Recordings, TARO kicks off the Pressure Suit catalogue with nine tracks of experimental and inventive Electronica, Techno and Electro.

Stepping away from his usual machine driven dub tinged techno and house for which Matlak is widely acclaimed, Dinsync offers an aural exploration of TARO's reflections of the unique circumstances and characteristics of the current world we occupy and ultimately questions the future of the human race on Earth. Overall, this concept of humankind's self-destruction and future survival is approached by Matlak with a combination of bleakness and optimism which is conveyed perfectly through his vast collection of vintage analogue Roland Corporation instruments.

The nine tracks of this LP offer an intertwining journey of electronic styles from the classic Electro vein of 202 Heroes' and Safe!' to the chunky electronica of Weird Vibrations' and Burned Earth'. These are gelled perfectly with the haunting orchestral excursions of If Then...', Really', Dinsyncer', Oh Scary Svalbard' and Hoaxy'.

The time has come for BadboE to return to once again rock the floors across the planet with an explicit 4-track party breaks EP. The Ghetto Funk Testament is BadboE's interpretation of the sound of ghetto funk that has been causing so much hype over the last few years. The 4 funky bangers on this double a-sided EP is taking it back to where it all started - as sample-heavy - upbeat party smashing music!

This is the first major release from BadboE since his successful second album Pump Up The Funk that dropped in 2012. Followed by an instrumental EP and a remix album, which very much celebrated the ghetto funk sound with tunes from the very best in the scene.

Making a full Ghetto Funk EP was a natural next step for one of the pioneer players in the funky breaks scene, who has been one of the go-to sources for all funky DJs for the last 10 years. BadboE's approach on ghetto funk however is not taking itself too serious, but focuses on the good samples and heavy beats and just enough bass to keep it ghetto without loosing the soul of the music. All 4 cuts on the EP keeps up that happy funky vibes and the b-boy flavors that BadboE is known and loved for.

Breakbeat Paradise Recordings is now one of the last labels to be releasing funky breaks/ghetto funk on vinyl and we are proud to continue to provide the very best this scene has to offer. This EP will remain exclusive for vinyl DJs for the next 6 month before dropping on digital.

Fracture returns to the label for the first time since The Limit VIP to kick off another LTD 10" series. APHALTD001 sees Fracture giving the VIP treatment to one of his favourite hardcore records from 1992, The Skeleton Krew's 'Luv Ta Luv Ya'. Originally released on Skeleton Recordings, it was a big favourite of DJ Randall and LTJ Bukem but as a young Charlie Fracture was only 13 at the time it was pirate radio where he first heard it:

"I had a tape from my favourite station, Weekend Rush. It was a Vinyl Groove set with MC Shabba over it and a lot of the records on there totally blew my mind. I've since found out what pretty much all of the records are but there was this one, Luv Ta Luv Ya, that I only recently managed to get an ID on and lost my mind again. I hadn't heard it outside of that tape, which I sadly lost."

Soon after finding out the details of the record, Fracture took to twitter to pass on his love for the track and praise to DJ Monita. It turned out the praise was mutual and that he was very much still active. Very soon after that a remix was arranged . . . sometimes the internet does actually work, or was it something in the stars

Electro killer Killer, featuring Dilemn (Hardcore Beats, Future Perfect, Boxon records, Goog...) and Mr Tools (Low Factory).

On this E.p there will be an original track ( Time of Punk) from the Italian Mr Tools oriented in an electro dirty style and a remix of the talented Dilemn.

Mr Tools an his inimitable musical style seduces all the public without exception. It is by listening to artists such as Justice, Daft Punk, Deadmau5 that Mr Tools evolves since 2010 in a style very electro and melodious, handling ingeniously long breaks, acoustic piano, and sound distortions of all kinds of instruments.

Dilemn, is a French electronic music composer , this young Toulousian is in a great period. He is being made a name in the expanding sphere of influence Nu-french-touch. Offering his body and soul in the electro underground movement since around ten years, absorbing a maximum of different tones stemming from variants of the electronic music and torturing his machines, this young composer, finally seems to have found his touch of madness, a sound electro even break, but simply audacious and current.

Remember the days when gifting mixtapes was the definitive romantic gesture That careful ritual of combing through your record collection, choosing a myriad of musical moods for the recipient to devour again and again, until the tape wore out - Until The Ribbon Breaks.

Drawing both their approach and name from their art form, UTRB are a uniquely skilled, singing, song-writing, producing three piece. Decidedly honest, their music embraces an old-school passion for intricate, clever writing and the slicing together of sounds, samples and lyrics demonstrated by their debut album, 'A Lesson Unlearnt'.

The powerful debut album (released in the UK and Europe this summer) treats listeners' ears to something compelling and unique. Mesmeric, dark apocalyptic pop, meets infectious "Avant RnB" in a way that is both haunting and beautiful in its raw confrontation of human emotion.

As well as working on their own debut LP the trio have taken part in exciting collaborative projects with EL -P, Burns Run The Jewels and The Weeknd and 're-imagined' Lorde, Phantogram, London Grammar, Sam Smith, Tegan and Sara, Mercury award nominee Laura Mvula and the mighty Of Monsters and Men.

Shades Of Gray are back with their second LP album. On this sampler we present two original tracks plus two remixes. Mic Mills from Untzz delivered rather pumping house interpretation that is coming exclusively as vinyl ONLY. Kuba Sojka got with his remix deep into waters of old school acid techno. We got something for everyone. Cut and Master by Matt Colton (Alchemy mastering).

Comes in innersleeve only now!Synth funk album by Atlanta Georgia artist Moon B ! Not much info as yet, besides that Dam-Funk is already supporting this bigtime

3rd volume of our series "Moog Your Body". And back with the same formula, 4 artists that have passed through the legendary club barcelona. The album kicks off with "Mind Over Matter" from Abandoned Footwear, American Exillon project that delights us with a theme IDM cosmic touches that will make you dance endlessly acid. Then "Tempest 303" one lysergic Lash Roy Of The Ravers attacking with all his cacharreria to offer his sound classic acid. On the flip side, we have the theme "Trapped In A Fit Of Malaria" of Drvg Cvltvre a slow-cooked dark and hypnotic acid pump. And finally, the issue of Snuffo "It's Killing Me" dismisses the disc with a dance track narcotic halfway between the acid house and the new beat.
Listen:

Mesehyena Tracks is Axhan Sonn's first full album. This music is much more than ambient electronica. Axhan's atmospheric compositions can be compared to a trip thru the galaxy where past, present and future collide.

"Soy Como Soy" was one of the standout tracks from Gigolo's CD Twelve compilation last year, with Makossa & Megablast representing what DJ Hell calls "the new sound of Austria". Now Hell has invited two influencial DJ/producers to bring M&M's hypnotic workout (and the voice of featured singer Cleydys Villalon) into new contexts.

Aah, the breakbeat, the very foundations on which the British underworld of dance music was built upon, takes it rightful place once again, and Will Azada royally plunders the spirit of the rave scene on his opening track, 'Mysterious White Powder'. The Tennessee based producer & DJ locks into the early UK sound on his 'Proper Traxx' EP, and debut offering for Hypercolour. On the flip side, the theme continuous on 'Let's Get Tight', all heavyweight stabs and knarly 909 drums, whilst the gloriously titled 'A Night In The Life Of Mr. Dirtbag McDiscopants' plays a straight 4/4 beat, and attacking it with breathy vox stabs and rave horns, you'll be transporting yourself back to Dreamscape circa 91 after you're done with this EP.

geile nummer produced by sugar caine ! ! !

Originally released in a highly limited pressing in 1981, this synth jazz funk soundtrack freakout record was destined for cult status. WT Records found a copy in a dirty basement complete with newspaper clippings and a business card. A search began for this multi-instrumentalist from Wilmington, Deleware. WT tracked him down through various websites and made contact with the still active musician. After several unsuccessful attempts at reissuing the record on other labels, WT Records stepped up to give this lost gem a wider release. These 9 tracks cover the whole spectrum of emotions, from schizophrenic drum machine dissonance to dreamy, soothing soundtracks. Truly a must-have cult reissue.

One night in 2011 King Midas Sound's Roger Robinson returned to Brixton from touring and inadvertently walked into the centre of the London riots. Through the flames and smoke he felt compelled to tell the stories of the people he saw rioting on the street that night. With disrupt's dub soundtrack highlighting the triumphs and tribulations in the lives of the people of Brixton, the album unfolds like a documentary film, extending from the epicentre of the riots and rippling out from there. Roger showcases all his poetry and singing styles over the sonic tower blocks and underground caverns of disrupt's dub soundscapes, evoking the golden era of dub poetry of the likes of Prince Far I, Big Youth and Linton Kwesi Johnson - a time when dub poetry made you dance in the club but also made you think on the way home. Done with lots of voltage, old school samplers, DIY synths, home made delays, dictaphones and even onboard computer mics this gritty disc will take you straight to Brixton's streets.
