In order to celebrate 5 thrilling and inspiring years, we gathered well-known artists, Goldmin regulars and emerging talents. It was really important for us to express the elusive nature of the Goldmin sound, in the form of a compilation tracklisting. Over the past 5 years, we had the chance to meet most of these guys in person, follow their very own creative path, share ideas, thoughts and there’s no doubt that they all had their part to play in crafting our sound. This intimate and stimulating kind of collaboration had to be expressed and there couldn’t be a better way to capture what we’ve been busily working for, than a serie of Various Artists 12″. What it comes down to is a quintessential, hard-to-follow Goldmin selection devoid of any specific standard or norm. And this whole compilation seems to reflect that non-septate artistic direction, this little something, which has grown throughout our whole catalogue, since the label’s birth. That’s why, picking these select few tracks, that could illustrate Goldmin Music’s essential freedom was probably our toughest work yet. It was also important to pick only the most original and iconic tracks from each artist. In the end each track had to be their most Goldmin one and they all have been tried in all types of situations, in club at 1 and 5 AM, on the highway at night or even staring at the ceiling during a sleepless insomnia session. They all fullfilled their duty.

Born between Brooklyn and Madrid, Mari.te presents uncharted sounds on a new label that will test the dancefloor and create new paths for those who remember long after the lights turn on.

The debut vinyl-only EP comes via Neik, alongside a remix by Noha. The atmospheric frequencies of Radio Tango' are built for the moments that bookend the party, a slice of building raw euphoria. Then comes the skittering bounce of Doc Knock,' a cut filled with its own playful sounds that warm and soothe. Desmaterializado,' and its hurried bassline, turn slightly more experimental without losing its groove. Noha follows up with a dreamy, drum-filled remix fit for dawn as the record draws to a close. These are tracks to reflect on when the magnetism of the night before won't quite leave you, even as the next one begins..

The levels of intrigue continue to run high around the rapidly developing Vigenere label, as the Malin Genie-helmed label continues to showcase lesser known talents operating in more adventurous corners of the techno domain. Yard One are a UK duo split between London and Manchester, and you can certainly here a rough n' ready soundsystem attitude and the ghost of classic '90s techno permeating the textured, knotty rhythms on opening cut "Sky Kings". "Cellular Entanglement" takes things in a more serene direction, but not at the expense of crisp beats to propel the twinkling synths along. Unfurling" presides over the flip with a mystical atmosphere that should appeal to those who like their techno oceans deep and dubbed out to perfection.

Matthew Kirkis aka Destiny71z is back with the third and final instalment in his tweaked out EP series. 4 more experimental club cuts, dripping and acidic, created using a stacked modular hardware set up. These playful cuts bounce through house, techno, garage and electro with an aquatic touch. Loose, electric and stunning throughout.

Label's plan is to deliver right instruments for a conscious musical
journey. The first one is based on 4 different steps structured with minimal and electronic textures. What's your plan

Again, Stefan Ringer brings forth that heat! Four tracks made for the floor. The A1 “DoU?” begins with the classic phrase “she loves me, she loves me not”. A nod to the tunneling vocals throughout the track. Hard hitting drums and percussion get you pumped and ready to take the journey. Deep emotional chords press on; as a thumping sub bass line connects everything together. A2 is “The Loop”. Crispy 808 claps and hats lure your ears, while deeper chord stabs wrap everything in a package you can’t refuse. The real star is the fat almost hollow bass line that hypnotizes you. The angelic synth harmonica solos throughout leave you begging for more. B1, “Reach”, features the silk-like vocals of Detroit’s own Javonntte. The chord stabs, drums, and bass line really show out on this track. Proven to work in clubs across the world, by the likes of Kai Alcé, JT Donaldson, Ash Lauryn, ByronThe Aquarius, Wajeed, Patrice Scott, and Touching Bass, this one is definitely for the floor. Finally the B2, “Love2U”, showcases Stefan’s ability to slow things down without missing a step. Smooth, simple, and intelligent, the melody is the star of this track. Sensual and expressive vocals convey the message of this tune. The solo provided near the end articulates how much more there is to come from Stefan and this label. You need this.

Next up on Curtea Veche's serii speciale it's TIJN and and Leftback's Dudley Strangeways, Two originals and a heavyweight remix by none other than Franco Cinelli , very limited press on 12" Transparent Vinyl

Retrospect vol. 4 - Reshaping the 70s, 80s, & 90s with the sounds of now.

DJOKO and Den Haas carry a groove with their very own signature out into the world of the heartfelt dancefloors. The new generation of house music is here, with fresh deep minimal trax from the vault.

Romanian locals and Vatos Locos alumni Floog & Mahony come together for the tenth release of VL Recordings.

'Boem' begins with that signature Romanian pulse, the slight distorted vocal elevates this track to another world speeding up to the finish line with a peak techno beat. Straight in with the pace, 'Continued' chugs along with a bubbling beat and effortless vocals. Deep roller.

Doing what a B-side should do 'Nu Mai' hits us with something completely different. Infectious loops and sonic vibrations make for a fast-paced whimsical piece of music goodness. Culminating in an exploding dancefloor pleaser.

For the remix VL Recordings enlisted the help of none other than the Bronx born duo The Martinez Brothers. They take 'Nu Mai' to another dimension. Previewed on their Fabric Mix in September, this has been waiting all year for release. Futuristic cosmic beats bubble over an electronic bassline. Straight away it is obvious who has put their signature spin on the closing track of this sublime EP.
